hey guys, now with Nicehash gone, is there any other service where you can rent your hashing power?
If not, which pool do you suggest to mine on? Cant decide between multipool.us, zpool and prohashing. I know none of them are as good as NH was due to different reasons, but i believe its still more profitable than mining direclty some coin. Other suggestions are welcomed as well of course
Too bad about Nicehash, hope you didn't loose any on that one. Mining pools keep getting better. I used to use coinmine.pl, but since prohashing.com came out it is my number 1 on the list. They allow the miner to automatically mine the coin which is most profitable - and you can choose any amount of different coins to receive payout in. Absolutely brilliant! However, last time I checked heard they stopped new account creation, prob became too popular. Doesn't mean then other pools you mentioned aren't also good. Never tried zpool or multipool. You'll need several anyway to allow the miner to auto-switch in case your top pool is down for any reason (or gets nicehashed  ) Unfortunately i did, lost 2 months and 5 days of mining, 0.19 BTC but i dont expect sympathy or condolences, its all on me for being greedy fuck and not wanting to pay higher fees for payments to external wallet. Lesson for everyone guys, dont be greedy, especially if you have ASICs. Pay 40 dollars or whatever a month more, even if you are from poor eastern european country and be safe. Its totally not worth losing big(ger) amounts On the topic, i guess i will go with prohashing (registered there some time ago), multipool and miningpoolhub. Just need to see which is most profitable. Good luck to everyone I bet they pay folk back..in usd on the day it was lost..but still..I think nicehash has the means to do so and the morals.... |

A bigger problem though is transaction clearing time, I just moved a bit to buy some equipment before end of year (tax deductible and I need this stuff) and it still hasn't confirmed.
If this keeps up I may have to use Litecoin.

Some of us will be sorted for life soon financially, some already will be. I wish we could do a bit of sideways action now though for a month or so.
I'm retired at the end of the month at 62. I can do so w/o the use of any crypto. But damn, when BTC hit 10k and looked at my BTC and crypto as a 'backstop' not to be used...but a safety net ...none the less...I cracked and pulled the plug on the job..... all my reasons went away. House is paid. No debt. etc. Can live the lovely lifestyle I am accustomed too from Edward Jones and still mining some....(I'm damn boring) Not sure wtf I'm gonna do. Putter around the house. Obviously, putting all my $$$ and efforts into crypto and BTC, I'm not much into stuff outside of ASIC miners....hmmmmm.....but the trigger is pulled... I have heard a rumor if you tell the local exotic dancers that you have a lot of BTC to toss about you suddenly get very attractive...go figure... |

The possibility will rise but not significantly, after reaching a certain stage, the big whales are likely to switch to alternative coin, because they also have great expectations for the alternative coins.
When I reply this topic, the bitcoin value in coinbase $ 15,975.01, before I start typing at $ 16,000.00, I think this year will go up to $ 20,000.00 and then alternate coins will go up.
until 2019 could possibly exceed $ 100,000.00 per bitcoin, but this also depends on outstanding issues and rumors, more and more issues and rumors are increasingly benefiting the big whales.
That is my bet. My BTC hoard is as good as it is gonna get...from mining anyway.....I've been into ALTS on the expectation that if/when BTC peaks and hopefully goes sideways for the next leg up...and some $$$ will be released to go to alt coins...they will pump to the proportion of $$ to BTC the were at say $2.5k ..that would be huge so my 2nd hoard is LTC for that reason.....then when the alts pump and then wane....the $$ go back into BTC as a safe store of value on alt pump and dump so rinse/wash/repeat |

Voted for 25% correction, but the level from which it starts is totally unpredictable. It may happen next hour from $15k or BTC may rise further first.
This is what has really thrown me for a loop below: "Notice that BTC price went from $12,000.00 USD to $15,000.00 USD in 31 hours!" what has me befuddled...is the FUD fest in the next 2 days that is gonna hit in the press and talking heads on finance channels..it will be epic then the East Asia and China folk who will see this on the weekend and their days off. Well, the powers that be...IMHO, will start the FUD fest fast and furious now......they are gonna frigging lose their minds, the finance channels talking heads on what is going on with BTC.....expect a lot of mud tossed about in massive quantities....the backlash may not have any effect but my bet is we are gonna see an all out ..full core press...of FUD for the next 2 days until the end of the business week what the hell is gonna happen with the far east and china when folk get the weekend off ..is anyone's guess and of course, I think it is Sunday, December 10th 2017...one of the two announced futures markets will open.... Unlimited, unpredictable for now.
Bitcoin price has surpassed $15K on several exchanges, even though it's around $13,600 across the global exchanges.
Bitcoin may get corrected at some points, but it will always rebound and reach a new ATH.
All I can say, bitcoin worth more than $50,000 or $100,000 due to mass adoption is coming to the market.
It just time matter and how long you can wait for bitcoin reaches a higher price.
