It looks like Ronaldo is really about to sign for Al-Nassr huh.
As long as he doesn't find a suitable team for himself in Europe there is no meaning in rejecting Al-Nassr's unbelievable offer. He just wanted to play in the Champions League a little longer but he is unlucky about not being able to find a proper team. I have heard that Al-Nassr's offer is a 7-year deal and 5 years of it are included as a different job in the same team for him. Normally his contract as a player will be lasting two years as far as I know. I don't know if he would like to continue there after playing for one or two years.

Dortmund will be most likely to sell Bellingham next summer. They just don't want to sell him already now as they need him in the middle of the season. But in the summer they will have quite enough time to sell Bellingham and find another young and talented replacement for him. Dortmund bought Bellingham for 25 million euros but his selling price will be over 100 million euros. It is an enormous profit.  Dortmund and Ajax are like siblings in terms of the business model they adopt. Ajax are just Dortmund's champion version at the same time.  |

I really liked Manchester City and Liverpool both in their EFL Cup matchup. They were both promising for the rest of the season. Only Nunez made me worried because he was so ineffective. I know that he made an assist at least. But he wasted two big goal opportunities above all else. The shots were so bad that they didn't even hit the goal post.
I hope his scoring skills won't be bad in the Premier League from now on. Liverpool are believing in him to perform well. They have spent so much money for his productivity. He was amazing at Benfica and hopefully he will get closer to that level in time.

We will see how new president of Juventus will decide upon Allegri's future in the team. Because Agnelli himself was planning a long-term work relationship with Allegri before. But now Agnelli has resigned and we don't know what new president will do. There isn't any agreement with a new president yet as far as I know. Therefore Allegri still has time to continue to get positive results to be more convincing.
His Champions League performance was so horrible that he can make up for that by only putting up a strong fight until the end of the season. People will expect the team to be successful in the Serie A and Europa League both.

I believe in Lewandowski to improve his performance even more by the upcoming games. He was actually doing a just fine job in the La Liga. He is very comfortable in the lead of top scorers table. He is currently one of the most scorers in the Champions League even though Barcelona are eliminated in that tournament from now on.
He has been just lacking in performance against big teams but this problem can be solved easily. He is a very experienced top striker and I think he will manage to be like his times at Bayern Munich in such games as well.

We are going straight back to the Ligue 1 games in a few days.
PSG are having a home game against Strasbourg. I don't expect any surprises here. It should be a very comfortable win for PSG. Something terrible has happened to Strasbourg this season as they are one of the worst teams of the league now. They won only once in 15 games so far. This is the complete opposite of their effort in the previous season. PSG have tougher games later like against Lens and Rennes. They would need to play even better in those games to get a win.

I believe Liverpool and Chelsea both will leave these bad days behind sooner or later.
I'm hopeful about especially Liverpool considering their potential. The squad is just amazing already and they only need to play more focused from now on. Klopp will need to use the right game plan to start a lasting winning streak as well. As for Chelsea maybe they might need more time than Liverpool to fix their issues. They have had weaknesses and they are trying to get rid of them by signing new players. But a good game plan preference will be important for Potter just as Klopp.

I also don't find it realistic to have Mbappe and Haaland both at the same time for Real Madrid. It is valid for any other team as well. However I think one of these superstars will be seen playing for Real Madrid in the future. And that player can really be Mbappe. Because they were already close to a deal last summer.
Let's say things didn't go Real Madrid's way about signing Mbappe again then their target would surely be Haaland. He might seem eager to play for another top team after having 2 or 3 years with Manchester City.

I don't have any expectation from Schalke. Because they don't give green light even for a small amount of time. They are still the same horrible team comparing their current performance to the one they relegated from the Bundesliga. They weren't like this in the 2nd Bundesliga of course. There weren't this much big teams there maybe but it was still a hope for the supporters.
But here we are. They will most likely be relegating from the league once again. Schalke just need a full renovation otherwise I don't think anything will change.

Atalanta have been in a miserable position for many weeks in the league. They have lost so many games in the recent times. I think this break must be enough for them to collect themselves. They have a Spezia game up next and I don't expect any mistakes from Atalanta in this one. There have been some times they lost against smaller teams recently.
However they have a strong lineup to make up for these bad results. They are looking worse than the previous season for now. Because they dropped down from the title race much later in the previous season. But this time maybe the scenario can be the other way around. But I don't know if they can enter any title race even if they improve their game.

Everton are still having hard days in the Premier League. Nothing much has changed for them since the end of the previous season. They are just above the relegation zone for now. Lampard must be really worried about relegating from the league for real this time. Their losing some important players like Richarlison has made things even more difficult for them.
They have a Wolves game ahead and Wolves are in an even worse condition than them. This is a good chance for Everton to win and take a deep breath. Maybe it might not be a comfortable win but I think they can do this.

Lens have done a really great job so far in the league. They are on an amazing winning streak now. However their next game might not be very comfortable for them because it is an away game against Nice. Honestly Nice are a little away from their good times now but they still haven't lost a league game for many weeks on one hand.
It has been like 16 years since Lens defeated Nice in an away game in the league. I don't know if this form can be helpful for them to break a leg finally. But I think this game is a candidate to end up with a draw. But I don't expect it to be a goalless draw.

It is good for the Red Devils to think of securing their goal for long years with a younger and skillful goalkeeper. However I'm not sure if this should be their priority these days. I think they should focus on improving their performance in offense. This could be done by signing an attacking player or a striker directly. But I don't know if they can do this in January.
Or they just need to keep Rashford and Martial productive regularly somehow. Rashford has a bigger potential than Martial for that as we witnessed it at the beginning of the season. He lacks consistency but he is still young. He can make up for that in time.

This is going to be important game for the Tottenham because now they are having tough competition for the stay into top four Newcastle United already at third and Manchester United is also improving day by day which will create challenge in case of lost most chances they could be dropped in near future with few other teams are having eye to touch their spot no doubt Harry Kane could be still in dilemma even he is professional and understand the realities but surely now playing after this missed penalty is not easy with having challenging game.
Brentford are improving their performance, and they will be not easy team for Tottenham even most chances visitors could be in better position but still a gape and many other circumstances are having their own impact on players as well.
This week can be an opportunity for Tottenham to take back the third position from Newcastle as well. Because Newcastle don't have an easy task to perform. They are going to play against Leicester away. We all have seen how much Leicester started to improve their performance recently. While they are on rise they wouldn't give in against Newcastle that easy. Newcastle are of course in a wonderful condition but we will see if they will be able to show the same quality performance as of now as well. They would surely stumble at a point after a great winning streak. Maybe it could be this game. |

Juventus have Cremonese and Udinese games before facing their biggest opponent in the league which is Napoli. I think they can win both of the first two games and maintain their existing winning streak in the league. They will need these wins to stay stronger against Napoli in Turin. Despite its being a home game for Juventus their job is still very difficult there.
We don't know yet how strong Napoli will be able to return to the league. If they maintain their usual performance then Juventus could be in a big trouble against them. But I still hope to see a competitive game considering Juventus' amazing form recently.

It is really interesting that Real Madrid still haven't extended with Benzema. But I assume it has been due to the World Cup process. Maybe they wanted to wait for it to end to return to their targets as always. Benzema was injured for some time as well. However this injury shouldn't have a big impact on their decision to offer a new contract to him.
Benzema is still one of the important players in this team. Real Madrid owe him a lot especially in the previous season. I think they will extend with him at least for two more years.
Real Madrid owes ..but football is not the place of emotion. It's a profession. Who can give good in football and who will benefit the club. Only keep him in the team. The proof of which is Barcelona and Lionel Messi. But Benzema is still fit enough to continue playing. But if there is a better option, Real Madrid will take it. I agree that professionalism comes first. But as long as Benzema stays helpful for the team he would surely stay longer. Maybe he might not be able to play in the starting eleven until the end of his time at Real Madrid after one point. It depends on whether they make a top striker transfer next summer or some time in the future. I feel like they will surely do this because I don't think Benzema can always show a similar level of performance to the one in the previous season. He would start being less productive in scoring goals at one point which might cause him to lose his place in the starting eleven. |

Alexis Mac Allister is targeted by Arsenal and Atletico Madrid now. His World Cup performance at Argentina was really impressive and it is a big help for him to find bigger teams for himself. He was one of the attention getting players of the team during the World Cup. His performance at Brighton is already fascinating so far in the Premier League.
This World Cup performance should surely increase his value from now on. His value is 32 million euros for now but I'm sure Brighton would demand much more than this. If Arsenal and Atletico Madrid both make an offer maybe his choice would be to stay in this league.
I’m pretty sure he’ll go for double that £32,000,000. He was one of Argentina’s best players & that kind of performance on such a big stage rightly or wrongly will definitely inflate his value. Whoever signs him will be getting a great player. I wouldn’t mind him @ LFC, he’d walk straight into our midfield. It would be awesome for Liverpool indeed. They have been looking for a good midfielder for some time already. I assume Klopp is thinking of replacing Elliott with a better and more reliable midfielder. I wouldn't like to underestimate Elliott's talent and skills of course. He is a promising player and I know him very well from FM game. But he still needs to improve his game more to be a permanent member of the starting eleven. Mac Allister would increase the productivity of the team a lot for sure. |

Tottenham are going to have the opening game and their opponent is Brentford. Honestly I don't expect a very tough challenge for Tottenham. Because they haven't been dealing with big issues against smaller teams in the league so far. Brentford don't have a good record against them either. They have a really difficult job to defend Tottenham attackers.
Maybe Kane missed that penalty for England but he should get over it in not much time. He was already one of the good players in his national team. He would focus on his games in the Premier League and I expect him to score against Brentford as well. He is already the top scorer of his team.

I think Lewandowski's performance will play a key role in the Manchester United matchup. Because he hasn't been very active in big games so far either in the La Liga or the Champions League. It's like they have lost all of those games so far if I'm not wrong. If he improves his performance and make a score contribution especially then Barcelona can have a bigger chance to eliminate Manchester United.
They really don't have an easy task to perform here. Manchester United have been quite good in the Europa League so far. They haven't faced a bigger opponent than Real Sociedad maybe but I still don't think they will stay weak against Barcelona. It should be a close competition.

I don't have any doubt that Real Madrid would be able to provide the same contract conditions to Mbappe if they want. However I don't expect any official offer from them in the near future. Especially after he has preferred to stay instead of signing for Real Madrid, there is no need to push their luck now. Mbappe is clearly happy with his game here.
There would really be another opportunity for Real Madrid in the future. But they don't even need him for now to be successful. Ancelotti is very pleased with the team quality now and he is already doing a marvelous work. While you are able to win the Champions League with the current squad, there is no need to splurge on a player.
