The match was getting more interesting and the first half was over with the score 1-1 Manchester City had a game in this match compared to Liverpool, well in that dominance it looks like Liverpool are still under pressure but what I see is that the second chance is pretty good, it's just that there isn't anything optimal as a final solution but in the second half it will be decisive for me but I am only optimistic on Liverpool.

The bet are not that big here, only $10 for me is worth it for me to choose Liverpool.

On the other hand, I think Manchester United still needs a striker who can really become a mainstay player. Anthony Martial has not been performing well due to his propensity for injuries, and after Ronaldo's departure it is only natural that someone thinks of a player who deserves to replace him. Depay or Gakpo are the only two possible signings, I'd love to see one of them there this season.

Yeah now that you mention it they do have players that go injured frequently so I think they do need a striker. Galpo for sure was the name they were interested in when the World Cup started and he started throwing some spectacular performances in group stage. About Delay, I don't know but can't deny it or rule it out completely given the United history of re-signing players they let go earlier for example Pogba.

It's not only Gakpo now because there are several names of other Dutch players and of course discussions about Felix as well as from Atletico are still being heard.
As for Depay, I'm not too sure about this because I think it's better to look for something more certain, especially with Depay's current condition at Barcelona, actually this isn't really worth it, in my opinion, if you want to be forced into the Manchester United squad.

Me too, both were equal but it seems like that city is more aggressive compared with liverpool. 10 minutes remaining for the match and liverpool needs some luck to make sure if it will able to create another goal to make the score become the same.
it seems like that van dijk can do nothing in this match. It proves that if the quality of city is still a bit above liverpool at this moment. The defensive players need to be restructured again. I hope that a miracle will be happening for liverpool.

Arsenal still lead at the top of the standings with five points from Manchester City. I think the Gunners' position is still very vulnerable especially with the condition of the team that is not a full team.

Totenham is far superior compared with brentford and i don't even think brentford can prevent totenham from taking the full points. The luck is still playing a lot to help a team like brentford to win against totenham.

But overall there is an improvement in Liverpool's attack their goal contribution is very much different from last season

Both clubs prefer to make some attempts in this game but they did quite well for 90 minutes at least with most of the non-core players both performances were not boring to watch and this is a good thing.
On the other hand, I quite like the change in performance that Nunez and Salah are showing at the moment because before they also played friendly matches playing very well and here they also look more different compared to their matches in the league from the start of the season until last month's international break.

My prediction turned out to be wrong because the final score did not change until the end, but even so it was still something that was quite fun. Manchester City played to dominate as usual but there was an increase in performance from Liverpool even though they lost but being able to score 2 goals against Manchester City was clearly very good. Hopefully, with this, even if they lose, Liverpool will be more solid in the league like never before. and with a Manchester City game like this Arsenal must also be noticed.

Most times the statistics we follow don't assure winnings in a football match especially when it is a game between two big teams that are doing well in the League. Manchester City may be seen as a better side based on their form this season and the current players in the squad but Liverpool is a team that understands City's playing pattern and they have used it to defeat them in their last meeting but am not forgetting the fact that City has improved in such a way that they can defeat any team that comes their way but I still think Liverpool can get a point against them if they continue with their good performance and hope that salah utilizes the goal-scoring opportunities that will likely come his ways.

Man City finally win against Liverpool after five matches in a row without win . City now moves into the quarters and has a solid chance of winning the title this season. Liverpool now lost another chance at a trophy and this season looks like they wont win a single trophy

I was hopeful today that Liverpool will have a favorable outing after the world cup but I am sad that the match ended in favor of Manchester City with a goal difference, Liverpool really played well but still, there is a need for a lot of improvement in the defense line and if that is not worked on, Liverpool may go further below Manchester city on the table this season.

City love the Carabao cup, dont they! Thus i consider them the favorites for the title every season, and this one is definitely no different. I think Liverpool needed this win and to stay in this competition more than City because they are having a pretty bad season and have limited opportunities at winning trophies, thus hanging onto anyone at this point is pertinent.

Having said that, i'm just glad club football is back, and the EPL would begin in a couple of days, i can't wait to see how the EPL pans out this season, who will be crowned champions, who'll finish in the top four and those that would be relegated, it is definitely going to be an interesting next couple of months.

I did the same but it seems City is still way better compared to Liverpool this season. Last year's Liverpool would probably win though but oh well, Im glad that I decided to put some decent amount on City as well on another sites so its all good for me. I should have gone for Haaland to score though, this guy never seems to lose his touch after a month of not playing

Well, Manchester city was the better team in the match against Liverpool. I think both on paper and on the pitch, Manchester City is better and they proved that point yet again with a win against their rivals Liverpool. It was a tightly contested game as both teams fought hard for the win. It seems to me that Manchester city brought out their big guns as it was clear they had every intentions of winning this game at all costs. Some credits goes to Liverpool as they played well and really fought to stay in the game but Manchester city wasn’t having any of that. Great game and a great win for Manchester City

Tottenham are going to have the opening game and their opponent is Brentford. Honestly I don't expect a very tough challenge for Tottenham. Because they haven't been dealing with big issues against smaller teams in the league so far. Brentford don't have a good record against them either. They have a really difficult job to defend Tottenham attackers.

Maybe Kane missed that penalty for England but he should get over it in not much time. He was already one of the good players in his national team. He would focus on his games in the Premier League and I expect him to score against Brentford as well. He is already the top scorer of his team.

This week can be an opportunity for Tottenham to take back the third position from Newcastle as well. Because Newcastle don't have an easy task to perform. They are going to play against Leicester away. We all have seen how much Leicester started to improve their performance recently. While they are on rise they wouldn't give in against Newcastle that easy.

Newcastle are of course in a wonderful condition but we will see if they will be able to show the same quality performance as of now as well. They would surely stumble at a point after a great winning streak. Maybe it could be this game.
