Waiting now for another response.

This kind of accusations shouldn't be posted here upfront like this. I think You shoulf've waited a max of 12 hours or better yet 24hours to declare someone as a scammer. If there is no solid proof for this then you can lock this thread and reopen again if th person really scammed you.

Now i know that.. Sorry.. Can someone delete this topic?

You cannot delete topics on your own but you can lock it, there is a button at the lower left part of the forum. Also if you want this to be removed in this section you can move it to Archival (old topics), that way it may seem like you deleted the topic. Smiley
3522  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Q about a transaction on: October 22, 2015, 11:39:27 AM
Hello forum,

someone is a complete newbee to bitcoins, so i have a question about a transaction.
If this is posted in the wrong forum, sorry about that. Than please, mod? Relocate this to the appropriate section.

The problem:

yesterday someone send two dollar something with a bit of fee to an address. Within 20 minutes it was confirmed and done.
Now 20 minutes later someone send 0.086774 BTC
from: 1FG5PHYrYxogPFs53TTRDcUWGWr1JguRDW
to: 1LMojUUSRgz1NNZ2kiZgsc8pb39RgvDJsy
With again a little fee: 0.0002 BTC

But it has zero confirmation for more than 24 hours, bordering 30 hours.
And i have no idea what could be the problem.

Maybe someone can have a look here:
https://blockchain.info/nl/address/1LMojUUSRgz1NNZ2kiZgsc8pb39RgvDJsy

and explain to me what is wrong, if anything?
That would be much appreciated.

With regards,

LS.
Must be a malleability attack. Do you know where the bitcoin came from or who sent it to you?
3523  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: AnonWallet - Simple Anonymous Web Bitcoin Wallet on: October 22, 2015, 11:26:06 AM
I just visited the site, it's make me not interested Undecided sorry but your site is looks amateur, there are a lot bitcoin web wallet out there and they have a better interface and of course they trusted. sorry no offense, but you should improve a web interface, ect, ect.

Had to agree with tgis. If you really want to start a projext like tgis then, a lot of programming skills is needed. Also you mut have a to ready the funds for this project, as I can see in the site, it's a no no for anyone to even consider using this.

bitcoin addy use by two different account. No negative on two account but weird.

It's not wierd at all. Probably just an alt account. People does that, they don't want their alts to get noticed but their mistake is using both address on different accounts. Cheesy
3527  Economy / Services / Re: wiu.co - Shorten your links and earn USD or convert it to BTC! [BETA] on: October 22, 2015, 06:57:54 AM

Well said! Thank you so much for pointing that out, we'll see what we can do. It might take a little time though, as we are trying to find suitable AD networks atm.

I see then, thanks for the fast response. I'll be waiting for this to get fixed but for the mean time I'll be using another link shortener. I look forward to this. I'll be watching the thread to be notified for updates.

regards!

Does it work now? Smiley

PS. Today, hopefully, we will start to carefully pay our users for their shortened links. We're expecting a call from an AD network today Smiley

The preview of the original link still doesn't work mate. I tried a different link and shortened it. Still the same "Make money while your at it!" is showing.
3528  Economy / Lending / Re: Require 0.015 loan (with Collateral) on: October 22, 2015, 06:47:17 AM

Also please give details regarding the date you will repay  I can give this without interest.

3529  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MMM Global Republic of BTC - Sergei Mavrodi ponzi scheme! Stay away on: October 22, 2015, 06:25:35 AM
Honestly this ponzi scheme of Sergey Mavrodi is so appealing because of it's 20% interest rate for the investment but the risk is very high for your investment not to be returned as there is no guarantee.

Appealing for people who absolutely no idea economics. Everyone with a straight mind and a little bit of knowledge should smell the rotten fish here he is going to get.

We may have to do something to educate people about the potential danger of Ponzi schemes like MMM. All the governments should do something.

Those people who joins this kind of ponzi joins not because they are not aware of scams or they want to be scammed, they join because they want to take advantage of the company while company it is still paying. They know eventually that this site will collapse and turn to scam

Well you are right in that point but then as these kinds of ponzi stays, as I have noticed, people don't get to really know what this kind of scheme is. I mean they do have a referral program right? I see plenty of greedy people who are willing to invite peoole to join in thier referral and ofcourse they will get an incentive from it. Now, the person who was referred was not fully informed that this is a ponzi. My point is, some people here could care less if someone elses gets scam atleast it's bot their money that will gone to waste.
3530  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price "stability" is a joke: there is no stability. Only calm before storms. on: October 22, 2015, 02:56:30 AM
I'm kind of thinking we're going to rise up just a bit more considering the holidays are nearing. Ya know, this is the season where remittances are record high.

Holidays are also the time where peoole will be busy to earn more. Cheesy I think this comming months, if it is not consider stabilized price then maybe the price of bitcoin will somehow stay at some point or rise. I don't think bitcoin price will go any lower at this moment
3531  Other / Archival / Re: closed on: October 22, 2015, 02:07:23 AM
I can provide you a loan of 0.01 btc if you can sign a message in a 3 month old or older post of an address of yours. Let me know if you still need this.
3532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly is bitcoin halving? on: October 21, 2015, 11:33:01 PM
So to conclude, there is really no reason why bitcoin price will go up after the 2nd halving?Only the supply and demand will really affect the price. But what if the price will not go up then what if the miners would not be interested into mining anymore because of the lesser reward, wouldn't that be a bad sign for bitcoin?  Undecided
3533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Drugs, Fraud, Porn, Gambling, Murder, Sex and now Ransom on: October 21, 2015, 05:52:03 PM

Can one of these murderers be hired for assisted suicide....?

You can creep to the deep web and see for yourself the various crimes that people are willing to do and as bitcoin as payment. Cheesy
3534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: October 21, 2015, 05:50:11 PM

Well its all because it doesn't require much skill and its quite easy to do compared to other services out there. Probably the best way so far for average people Wink

For average people indeed it is but I was suggesting that if s/he has any skills at all, make use of it and do something tocearn from it. For a skilled person, some jobs are just average. Well it all depends on the person anyway. But you are rigjt, sig campaign is the easiest.
3535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe we need more ways of advertising Bitcoin currency? on: October 21, 2015, 05:47:37 PM
i dont know how much advertising is going to help out. the thing that will draw people in is a rapid and steady rise in price. we can do this with something like the willy bot or be patient (and honest) and let the adoption cycle continue like it has been all along. nothing sells success like success.
But if they don't know about Bitcoin, then how would they even know the price is increasing.....

I think educating people about the advantages of bitxoin and the fun side of bitcoin is greater than introducing them directly to the price of a bitcoin. Well, the price will be forgotten once theyxrealize or once they knew how the denomination of bitcoin works.
3536  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: October 21, 2015, 05:43:46 PM
A bank is governed by our government. It's to store the fiat that we are using.
Bitcoin wallet is where we store our  bitcoin.
Those Two are two different things. Both are needed. You can't choose on neither both of it to just pick one. Wink
3537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly is bitcoin halving? on: October 21, 2015, 05:37:55 PM
Some people think that the subsequent reduction in supply will drive up the price. I don't really buy that. There's already enough coins out there to meet demand and of the coins traded every day, the volume is multiple times more than the mined coins arriving. If demand rose significantly then it might be a factor but outside sentiment, which is more important than anything so it does count, I don't think there's any other reason for it to rise.

I understand the supply and demand thing. So what you mean is that the price increase after the halving does not have a solid proof that it will really increase at all? Huh

Definitely no guarantees.  It's more optimism than anything else.  I suspect quite a few people expecting a sudden launch to the moon are going to be disappointed.  I think at best there will be a slight uptick.  Certainly nothing major (although I'll welcome being wrong on that one   Smiley ).

No there is no true way to know that it will increase, just theories that it will.
Now there goes my bubbles of hope that bitcoin will reach a higher price after the halving. I've thought about all the stuffs I read on the speculation board and guess everyone is hoping for the same.

3539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly is bitcoin halving? on: October 21, 2015, 05:27:32 PM
It's when the number of coins the miners get for mining each block gets reduced by half. Today they get 25 Bitcoins for mining each block, and there's about 6 blocks mined per hour. During next summer the number of coins they get for each block gets reduced to 12 and a half.

Miners have to pay electricity bills that mining runs up so they frequently sell their mined Bitcoins and that brings the price of Bitcoin down. When the number of coins they get for mining gets reduced by half next summer they will only have half as many coins to sell as they do now. That should help the Bitcoin price rise because there will be less pressure pushing it down from miners selling.

I see, this answers my question clearly. So basically it's the miners keeping their coins in them and not selling them because they only get half of the original coins that they are getting now after the 2nd halving?
So if these miners still wants to sell their coins, then no price increase will happen to bitcoin?  Huh
3540  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is coming back, stronger than ever, with new members! on: October 21, 2015, 05:22:33 PM
Well AFAIK the membership numbers in here is not a reliable source of information on how many people are really using bitcoin. Unless the forum will prevent multiple accounts, maybe but then multi accounts are allowed so yea, who knows that half of those accounts are owned by the same person.?
