3641  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Source for Sextoys on: October 14, 2015, 11:02:32 PM
Wow, I never thoight bitcoins will also be used in purchasing such. Bitcoin and porn is one thing, but buying of sextoys? Grin

Why is that ? Porn and sextoys fall into the same category. Every place and service where anonymity is appreciated should use exclusively bitcoin.
That way private things remain private. There's no need to include any unrelated third party into your activities now is there  Kiss

Well sextoys are physical goods while porn is a digital one. Anyway, you're right, bitcoin works the same way as fiat does so there is no boundaries as to where bitcoins can be used.

3644  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Open Coin Market. Like Ebay, but for CryptoCoins on: October 14, 2015, 08:12:30 PM
So is this the same as the OCM I found on the investors based games?
Not to discourage or anything but I think the project will not be successful. Fiat is one thing, but this scheme with bitcoins? I don't think so.

Btw, if you are looking for a developer team look at the service section. There are lots there who is offering their service. But be more specific to what kind of coding you need to be done. You can edit your OP to make things more clearer for everyone to notice. Wink

3647  Other / Meta / Re: this crap is getting old on: October 14, 2015, 02:12:05 PM
if accounts does get locked because of the secret question (still not sure if it's true), then it's kind of the user's fault if their account got locked for doing something that is clearly not recommended.

also I've been wondering... it says "you are banned from using this forum!" there on OP. does that means he really got "banned" for breaking forum rules or did he got "banned" only for security? I hope a mod can answer this.

Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!
For security, your account has been locked. Email acctcomp15@theymos.e4ward.com

Based on the message OP got. It must've been for a security reason. I don't think those people who receives a ban has that message. Also people who gets ban here can't post outside meta, based on the latest post of OP, he can post outside. If it were a ban he could've got a ban evasion because of this so I think it's not for othwr reason other than security measure.
3648  Other / Meta / Re: this crap is getting old on: October 14, 2015, 01:33:43 PM
What kind of stuff constitutes a ban? I can't imagine what people do to get banned on here when even scammers don't get banned. You can swear & insult people, I've seen it done any way Smiley

Literally what kind of shit are these people doing to get banned or perma banned?

Most of them gets banned for insubstanial post. They were spamming the forum so the resulting effect is a ban. Now if they created another account and posted outside the meta section, they will get a perma-ban for the ban evasion they did. Also people gets the perma-ban if they will be ban multiple times.

There is also a case that if you reset password with security question, your account will be locked. There is a thread in meta about it. Go read why. Grin
3649  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Satoshi Nakamoto WON'T win a Nobel Prize on: October 14, 2015, 12:51:35 PM
satoshi does not need to be recognized with the Nobel Prize. satoshi will always be recognized by the wider community, especially the users of bitcoin.

Had to agree with this.
And satoshi probably don't want to be noticed by everyone. Just like his work, the bitcoins, maybe he wants to remain anonymous to us and not be known with a nobel prize.
3650  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Recomended client for Android on: October 14, 2015, 12:16:21 PM
I will suggest Mycelium like what others have said. Also coinbase have an app also available on the appstore. He blockchain client is not really on my list becuase you will be needing a pc to access your wallet in it if wver you accidentaly lost access on it in your app.
3651  Economy / Gambling / Re: What feature would you like to see on a Dice site ? on: October 14, 2015, 11:45:35 AM
What feature would you like to see on a Dice site ? example; house edge, tip bot, jackpots and so on Smiley i'm very curious !

Low house edge, a very nice tip bot that tips huge amounts, big jackpots that is easy to win, a promotion every now and then giving away coins. LOL. Grin I'd like to have all that.
3652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Death of Money on: October 14, 2015, 10:55:08 AM
Nothing could ever replace fiat or physical money, not even bicoins. Not that I don't believe in bitcoins, I do but I think bitcoins needs a lot more time to fully reach it's full potential.

3654  Other / Meta / Re: can we vote on banning people ?..... on: October 14, 2015, 10:44:41 AM
Just let the mods do their works in banning those people that they think deserves it. We can already report a user posts, I think that is enough to help and notify the mods about the users inapropriate action in the forum.
3655  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Image captchas have to be completed twice???? on: October 14, 2015, 08:13:23 AM
Yeah, I have experienced the same bullshit. Really frustating, this bug can easily make a sane man, insane.

It's not a bug. It's a common mistake as some images appears too blurry for our eyes to identify the pictures.

3657  Economy / Lending / Re: Help with my first Loanbase loan on: October 14, 2015, 07:18:25 AM
Hello,

I am launching a small loan at Loanbase.com, feel free to invest. I want to start building a reputation in the bitcoin world.

https://loanbase.com/loan/browse/lid/19885/small-loan-for-business

Thank you all!  Roll Eyes

A piece of advice: You can't get that loan funded. I have tried getting a loan there before and with a 5th attempt, my loan hardly get to half  of my loan request.

Btw, kindly lock this thread, you won't get any help in here as there are rule of bo collateral no loan. Also don't depend much on that lending site.
3658  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Is there a way I can remove some of the addresses on my HD wallet on Mycelium? on: October 14, 2015, 06:38:07 AM
No there is no way to remove any of the addresses. That is how HD wallets are supposed to work, they create a new address for each new transaction.

You can give out the same address the whole time if you want so that all incoming funds go to a single address, that might help.

If that does not work for you then you can also create a single address and then use that address for sending and receiving funds. A single address/key can be created in MyCelium in the accounts section.

IMPORTANT: If you do create a single address remember to make a backup of that address/key. The address is not part of your other HD wallets and will not be restored when you restore the other HD wallets. If you do not make a backup you can lose everything that is stored on that address.

I see. I do have a single address but I am mostly using my HD wallet in wvey transactions I just don't like how the address list is starting to crowd. LOL.

anyway thank you for a response.
3659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of service is the actual "Killer App" for Bitcoin? on: October 14, 2015, 06:35:50 AM
on my case, the only one that kill bitcoin is goverment rule  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

It's not all the govenment fault in all cases. Bitcoin would be dead if people starts dumping it. Thus no more investors.  No more bitcoins.  Cry
3660  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting on Elections on: October 14, 2015, 06:17:40 AM
That would be an interesting thing to bet on, but I am sure it will be easy to guess, just follow the money Wink

It's not that easy, there are somw cases where there are two opposing teams with huge supporters so there is really a chance that someone will actually wins against the other despise who others think will win.

If the winning party is obvious, then no one will really bet on it.
