I'm getting an average of 20 Khash/s on a core i7 920 is that ok or do you think i would be better off getting a gpu cos all i have at the moment is a ati 4600 series a nd thats pretty slow too.  Definitely GPU. Look for 5770's, 58xx, 6770, 68xx, 69xx. |

Yeah I am logged in now I have also logged in and out a couple of times, yeah cpu mining does seem a bit slow, I think I will try again tomorrow and if it hasnt changed or sorted itself out I will delete and reinstall my software. do you think that might help?
CPU isn't going to get you much, in fact, it may cause you more consternation than anything. What hash rate are you getting? |

I'm using cpuminer version 2.2.2 and the lite coin client version v0.6.3c-beta. Its all the stuff that is on the mining pools website and seems to be working apart from not showing up on my stats on the site.
You can log into your account? With CPU mining, it will take some time to amount to anything substantial. Also be aware of the update times. |

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I double checked just to make sure, the miner has all the correct details in the cfg.json file and is happily chewing threw blocks. Just not shure whats going on.

I was accused of posting false pictures that arent mine. If you read the original thread you can see I said "OLD pictures of my setup" just to show I am a legit grower. The photos were taken off my grow album, which is why on grasscity I have those pictures along with many others of that grow. Like I said earlier, the reason I have not logged in to my grasscity account in over four years is because I no longer have login information and when I did use it I was only around for a week or two, which is why there is only 6 posts. You can contact that account with messages as much as you want, you will get no reply because I can not access it. That itself should prove I am the owner of the account.
Also, I was accused of being a scammers alt who went by furrycoat. This has got to bet the most stupid. In no way am I furrycoat nor am I affiliated with him AT ALL. Really, before accusing me of a bunch of crap look at the FACTS.
What facts? Anyone can type words, post pics and call them fact but it doesn't make it true. |

Any suggestions would be very helpful. I notice here https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/wiki/Mining-hardware-comparisonthat a 5850 should be getting more than the 260-270 that I am currently getting out of it. But when I turn my gpu_thread_concurrency up to 6500 like it says (currently at 6144) my machine crashes and I get the blue screen of death. Any ideas on why this would be happening or tips on how to increase that speed? Also note that I am using Reaper to mine with. Thanks for any help in advance!! Can't help you with Reaper as I use cgminer. (2) 5850 - 825 core, 850 mem, int=17. These are averaging 694 Kh/s @1.058 vddc. Those comparison charts are not set in stone for every card and as always, YMMV. Lot of factors come into play, quality of PSU, overclock-ability of GPU, stability of drivers, etc. Good luck! |
