Same people make new accounts over and over just to troll, because they can. i believe, people are smart enough to recognize a fresh-regged single-digit-activity account just trolling especially when the seller takes the time to qoute and disarm these posts, also reporting to moderators dunno if smf has that feature, but i know other baords give the op to flag posts as spam these arent deleted then but just hidden and can be shown by clicking on them combine this with a min posts and min days registered to post permission for all marketplace boards, and you greatly solve the spam/troll problem without giving scam ops the chance to censor or disguise That's not my quote BTW. Always check the Trust, even click on Untrusted Ratings and then Show Ratings. Unless the lender has a proven, impeccable record, use escrow for any collateral. Use due diligence for all transactions.

There were no senior members involved. You may have thought there were, but you didn't do your due diligence (read above- they were made up names). I appreciate the fact you are upset, every normal person would be, but this is not the way to react. Sickness or not, where are the funds from the group buy? If they are sitting safe, what not a full refund ASAP? If these funds were used for any other purpose, no matter the circumstances, that is FRAUD. What we are being told is that he met someone in person and he was beaten and robbed and as a result the BTC from the groupbuy was taken (that's why he is going the refund route instead of just sending the cards). He will now payback those who are entitled but he has to do it out of his own pocket and that will take several months. I agree it is a rather fantastic tale and I can't verify it or dismiss it out of hand. I did receive a small amount back and am being told the rest will follow. Right now that is all that I know. |

Yeah I hope there was some legitimate reason... but all forms of communication have been dropped out from him. So although I want to wish for the best he's only giving me one option but to look at the proof before my eyes. I will update if anything changes

USPS tracking is usually only available after the item is delivered Complete rubbish and I suggest you look at my original question. ps I worked in a global dispatch centre for 20 years. So we have no possible shipment date, eta or forecast ? I'm sorry but I find that hard to believe. So you are telling me that when the item is manufactured and is processed for shipment "You are not given any" information on shipment dates and freight container availability ..... that's complete rubbish. What you should be doing is manufacturing each order in "Order Number" priority and then shipping as per original order. If someone selects a slow delivery method they still receive postage / shipping information but the item takes longer to arrive. What I suspect you are doing is saying "sod the order number" is someone selects Air, lets make them first which is complete rubbish. You have 2 more weeks on top of the 9 weeks you have already had to provide basic information and to prove the item has been shipped or I expect a full refund. I am fed-up of lame excuses.
