2761  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Forum member trying to rob my casino on: January 19, 2014, 05:09:24 PM
Forum member eroxors claims that I "owe" him money, gives me bad reputation. Fails to provide any evidence whatsoever of me owing him anything.

Did this happen to anyone else? I don't get why I have negative reputation....

Settle it with him. eroxors, it would help to provide proof.
How exactly are you being robbed?

2762  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.55 BTC loan to start my own GPU rig on: January 18, 2014, 09:48:56 PM
Sell some of your stuff, car title loan, ask family or friends or as you said: take out a bank loan. You are basically asking someone to trust you, take all the risk and you keep all the rewards. Without collateral, the lender may as well buy and mine themselves.
2763  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS BTC Need PayPal on: January 18, 2014, 08:29:09 PM
Don't even waste your time with this failed scamming cunt
Yes he failed it and I think he also have many other acc at this btctalk
Lol, your the kid who out of nowhere on my first day here PMed me saying you sold them. Your the scammer, Im not.

will you do escrow yes or no simple question stop avoiding it
Depends on who the person wants to escrow with.
ok lets rephrase this, who will you use thats a trustworthy escrow on this forum?
I would have used Tomatocage, but some idiot on skype sent me a wallet stealer so now I have to get out all my BTC fast before he finishes brute forcing it.

EDIT: God damn it I just lost 35BTC to JBWashington. Of course he pays me for a miner, I ship it out, sends me a jpg, and now my wallet is stolen. Is there any way I can get him banned?

Proof? Also your dealings are looking a bit suspect. For starters read through: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=419212.20
2764  Economy / Services / Re: Offering FREE Escrow Service to build credentials on: January 18, 2014, 08:19:27 PM
It usually takes trust before you can escrow for others. You are putting the cart before the horse.
2765  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] BTC via paypal. on: January 18, 2014, 01:38:56 PM
This is my first post in the marketplace and I am very untrusted at this time. I can do little exchanges to start up. Thanks everyone. I will go first with every transaction but I am not dealing with untrusted members with 0 exchanges.

Current PP balance: 567$
BTC bought: 0.00

Ok, I'll bite. I'll sell 0.037BTC for $30 USD. At the end of 90 days, I will send the BTC. The details of this transaction needs to be put in the Message area for the PP transfer. PM for email address.

but sending as a gift the only way to reverse a payment is to lie to paypal saying that you were hacked when you sent on your own

Exactly. I don't know too many scammers that are honest either.
2767  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] BTC via paypal. on: January 17, 2014, 10:14:03 PM
"looks like you really don't want to sell so what could you really be after?" I am buying BTC not selling. How is going offline a scam? Its called a life.

You post to buy, exchanges were made, a deal was crafted you go offline. Are you buying or wasting time waiting for an easy mark?
If so, I laid out terms of the trade and I await your PM to get the address to send the funds to.
2768  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Selling Bitcoin on EBay on: January 17, 2014, 09:59:30 PM
A lot of ebay sellers list btc/altcoins like this

Buy a pen get x amount of btc/altcoin free

That way when they send the pen in the mail with tracking paypal can not reverse the payment. Or at least that is the assumption.

Until the fraud, hacked or dog ate my PC accusations come in.
2769  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] BTC via paypal. on: January 17, 2014, 09:54:19 PM
Not  dealing with you... You seem very eager to sell to me and wont wait for my reply. Sounds to much like a scammer to me.

So, taking you at your word and accepting your offer, I am the scammer? It's a little suspect when I was trying to make a deal with you, you go offline. Looks like you really don't want to buy so what could you really be after?  Roll Eyes
2770  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying 1.0 BTC - at 7.5% above preev.com on: January 17, 2014, 09:48:59 PM
Purchased all I need, trade closed.

I got scammed, still buying.

YOU were scammed and you bought with PP??? Unpossible.

BTW PP gift CAN and is often reversed. Toss in funding via CC and it's a lock it can be disputed. As for using escrow, unless seller waits 45-90 days before the coins are sent, it's useless.
2771  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Potential scam with LocalBitcoins.com [Positive outcome, details] on: January 17, 2014, 09:37:02 PM
Update on the case with LocalBitcoins.com

first the news is great, I just got the dispute resolved in my favor (hurahhh!).

So basically the procedure is they ask both parties send all documentation which I did he was told to do so he ignored it, he got a warning this morning nothing and next thing I know I have bitcions in the LocalBitcoins.com wallet.

The other cool thing is that I never transfered bitcions before so I did my first ever transfer that was cool.

Ok so on local bitcoins there is  a feedback this guy has 100+, 100% which is why I went for it. I still don't understand why he would try to get my money for $100 dollars?? Any ideas. So what should I post about the guy since it's going to be negative? Thanks and bfree!

Ummmm....yes?

Yup already done. I'm getting ready to do one more I'm going to go with the deposit cash to bank options see how that goes last time I did the moneypak option.

Don't forget to release the name.

2773  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling my 300$ on MTGox on: January 17, 2014, 01:54:43 PM
Well, I can buy BTC with it but it still won't make any difference as withdrawing BTC also requires verification?

Have you tried to withdraw BTC? I don't recall any issues or unusual ID requirements for this method.
2774  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling my 300$ on MTGox on: January 17, 2014, 01:46:35 PM
What do you mean by how would i sell it? You can edit the address, name and all that you use for verifying the account.

Then comes the hacking claims, you get your account back and the buyer loses. Buy BTC with it and transfer it out.

Let's call it what it is: A loan feeler.

Yes, of course that it what it was....is that a bad thing?

I've had a good think about this, and I've decided that even if a loan like this were possible, I don't think that I want to expose myself so much. I'll stick a few quid per month in, try to be savvy with my trades, and build it up.

Thank you all for input!

Rit

That would be the best course of action for you at this time. Good luck!
2777  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [SELLING] Sell BTC for WU or Paypal 0_o on: January 17, 2014, 04:36:11 AM
ghibly79 would you like to do WU with escrow?
all this reading about paypal is getting me really scared...

Protect yourself best you can. There are a few trusted members that would do ok with PP but I would still rather not go with PP.
2778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to exchange DOGE to BTC on: January 17, 2014, 04:33:00 AM
Hi, I want to build a scrypt mining rig from 3 290x Graphics Cards

I estimate this many DOGE's a month 1957906.05485 which is over $700 a month.

How do I sell these to pay back a loan I borrowed. Thanks.
Try an exchange like Cryptsy. I don't endorse Cryptsy BTW, just an example. You can also search the forum or Google.
Will the order be executed immediately?

and sorry, I see other threads and it doesn't show anything for altcoin mining.

You asked about selling not mining. I use Cryptsy and BTCe and so far no issues. Maybe I'm just lucky.

2780  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] 0.2 BTC with Paypal on: January 17, 2014, 04:22:59 AM
I understand my rate may be high, but refusing to go first while using paypal (all the risk is on the seller) even with established members won't get you very far.
You'll have to choose another method and use escrow if you want it done hassle free here.

Yes, your rate is high.  I won't go first because I know 100% I will pay after receiving it. I don't want the hassle of contacting Paypal for a refund and have to wait like a week or two to get my money back.  I know there has been some trades on here with Paypal.  After posting all my contact info and background, not sure what people are worried about.

I'll bite again. Since you know the horror stories, send the funds to me and I will escrow the BTC. After 90 days, I will authorize the escrow release to you. Your personal info means very little BTW. ANY amount of time spent in the Lending section explains it all in vast detail, over and over.
PM for email to send your funds to, we will also discuss an escrow agent.

Thanks but I'll pass.  Sorry, I don't send first. That's the rules, either play by the game or don't play at all. How is my personal info meaningless? 0 Negative feedbacks on Ebay in over 12 years.  I think that means more than 1 or 2 trust points on here right?  A legit website that makes me money and also my ebay sales. That proves I can afford the 0.2BTC right?

Ebay can ban you, we can't. Ebay and Paypal can ruin your credit, take you to court, we cannot. Ebay feedback does not carry over here. Bottom line: You aren't on Ebay anymore.
Since you earn so much, why the need for a loan? Maybe you see easy pickings?

Loan? I'm not asking for a loan. I'll looking to purchase.  Anyways, I'm done explaining myself.  Any serious sellers, contact me.  Otherwise, I'll find another way to get my BTC. Maybe on ebay. haha.

I'm sorry, I got ahead of myself. The loan request comes next. If you really want your BTC, go to localbitcoins.com and buy them. Let's see if your "no send first with PP" policy holds up.
