I'm not the most charitable person, but I'm not sure I like to see people being mocked while they're going through an hard time, or being hated for begging

Normally I would agree but how many of these types requests are legit and how many are scams? From what I have seen, the vast majority are "money for nothing, panhandling, feel sorry for me" requests.

2667  Other / Archival / Re: 5 BTC loan Repay On 11th Feb 2.2% interest Per Day on: February 03, 2014, 05:22:00 AM
How can I be sure you pay back the loan?
Do you have collateral?

No collateral But proof I can pay you back :

I blocked the Payout address cause that's my personal income and I mistakenly blocked out the deposit address Huh

Then wait and pay your friend once you have it. Problem solved, interest saved.
2668  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.2 btc , payout of 0.25 in 24 hours. on: February 02, 2014, 04:36:16 PM
Think something small, easy and cheap to ship to an escrow agent or lender to hold for the duration of loan. It needs to be at least the value of the loan. With proper collateral you will get your loan.
I still have my old iphone 4s that works. Would this be a good collateral? It's not broken, slight wear and tear (very small scratches on screen only visible in the right lighting). I could do this.

You can send your iphone 5s as collateral, and use your old 4s until you get the collateral back.
I paid $750 for my iphone 5s 32 gb, I bought it unlocked (If you don't know what that's look it up). I really don't see that as a fair collateral....

It will ensure you repay and you could also ask for a larger loan.
2669  Economy / Services / Re: 7% monthly return bank deposit on: February 02, 2014, 02:19:15 PM

Bank Rates in Iran starts from 7% you can check it here http://www.sinabank.ir/index.php?newlang=eng in interest rate pages
you can check USD to IRR ( Iranian rials ) here http://www.sinabank.ir/pmk/244-%D9%86%D8%B1%D8%AE-%D8%A7%D8%B1%D8%B2.html

I have around 168000 usd cash in my account and will accept to invest it for you in Iranian banks ; i can provide my account balance statement in English that you can check it out from bank, and my passport copy as well, only to serious investors.

I have an office in Tehran and it would be my honor to be your host if any one would likes to invest in person ( for large amounts )

min investment is 1000 usd and the returns are calculated with rates in above link in payment due dates
i accept and make payments in BTC only

for more info please send pm.

Do I really need to advise caution here?
2670  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I made a withdrawal from MtGox, but the money still has not been returned to me on: February 02, 2014, 02:17:35 PM
I withdrew some money from MtGox EUR on 15th of January. They sent me an email that money is on the way. The money still has not arrived to my bank account. I also submitted a support request to MtGox on 30th of January, but they have not responded.

What should my next course of action be and how can i get my money out of there?

Please read the other 120 threads about MtGox withdrawal issues.
2671  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: where to sell my btc fast & easy through paypal? on: February 02, 2014, 05:18:17 AM
The upside to selling with paypal is that because it's so scammy, you can charge a massive amount.  It's not uncommon to see BTC selling for paypal for twice as much as it would if you sold it on an exchange.  If you take the time to properly vet prospective buyers, it can actually be +ev even with a 20-30% scam rate.  It's still quite risky, though.

I've also never understood why sellers don't ask for paypal payments to be made "gift"s.  As I understand, gift payments are irreversible.

Nope.

You sure about that?  I thought the whole deal with gift payments is that PP doesn't take a fee on them (because they are gifts) and because of that, they don't get involved in reversing them.

Been beat to death but I'll go again. If you claim you account was compromised, you get a chargeback. If you claim the same AND purchase was made via credit card, you get a chargeback. So yes, you CAN get a chargeback using gift.

Well I don't know who banned me, but I assumed it was Theymos because the e-mail address I was given to appel contains @theymos.e4ward.com . Now that you mentioned could have been a moderator as well.

I deserved to be punished because I infringed a rule, however what really pissed me off is that no one gave me any explanation or answered my e-mails, and I apologized and ensured it would never happen again.

I did something wrong, but at least I recognized it and wanted to work on it.

Please keep that in mind and consider it. What do you say?

You could try selling in the Goods section if you don't want to go through the hassle.

I am looking to do a import of miners and need the capital to get started.

I will send all proof of identification (Drivers License,  an phone bill for proof of ID and address)

Any other information i would be happy to give

Information is useless but collateral would do nicely.

I don't see your point in the quote, I see nothing wrong with it. Yes I lose some bets, and when I say I don't lose, I mean I've never lost money doing this, ever. I've lost bets, but made it back with other bets right after. You act as if you un-covered some big secret here. And what do you mean by big haul?

Since you always win but sometimes lose, pawn or sell your gold and stake yourself unless you really have no confidence in your ability. Everyone knows it's easy to bet and lose collateral free, borrowed money, it means nothing to you. You just log off and make a new account. Maybe you should take the risk, not ask others to.
First of all, I do always win, I'VE NEVER LOST MONEY BETTING. When I say I lose bets, yes everyone does, but I make 100-200 bets so obviously some of them I lose, but I make my money back. And no i'm not going to pawn it since my mother bought me my gold necklace for graduation. As I said im only pawning it if necessary.

You offer nothing, would be interesting to see if you get a high risk loan.
Put some skin in the game, go big or just go home!

Well since I had to withdraw about $2,500, I didn't have any left over btc, and no I didn't say I was a grand master, I just said I didn't lose. Anyways if your not going to help me out, please don't post. All its doing is making your post count go up, and not actually helping anyone. But thanks Smiley

Why are you worried about my post count? Shouldn't you be planning you next big haul?

Obviously some people need to learn to read. I said in my post that I used the rest of my btc for bills and living costs. So I need some btc to start me off again.

Grand Masters of betting should always have a surplus of cash if they never lose. OP should read what he writes.
