3581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Institutional hodling and BTC being a speculative asset on: March 29, 2021, 02:29:38 PM

Anyway, what do you think about this institutional investor thing?

That's a dangerous thing happening! I am not denying the fact that institutional buying has greatly helped bitcoin to reach its current stage. But too much of institutional holding will further centralize the market and since bitcoin market is not regulated, it's pretty easy for them to manipulate it. That's where the problem is!

Corporates have billions of dollars worth cash reserve. They can become a whale in no time! Too much money comes with too much power and that power must not be misused. That's all!
Here we only can speculate, have no single idea what's going to happen. With the much institutional interest this time, perhaps they won't manipulate the market that much but I would still be prepared all kinds of unusual activities. There is absolutely no telling given the entrance of institutional money and I hope the market won't drop like in the past.

The situation before is far different than now. There's a tons of money on the line in the current market while on the previous bull run, Only FOMO traders just buy in which means the orderbook was very thin. Institutional investors will not let the market dump since they have backup funds to DCA in case the price go south.
3582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Awareness and Meme Images on: March 29, 2021, 12:04:05 PM
This image simply shows that the gambler who has a lot of funds or assets will always win, why? Simply because the gamblers who has a big pocket to lose on has the greatest game time in which he can afford to lose almost half of his funds and he can easily buyback whenever he wants to, and that's the reality. The gambler who has just a limited asset to bet on will be thinking seriously if he can buyback again whenever he loses and that is also the reason why people keep on having a big debt because on gambling. That's the sad reality.

I believe that's not the message of this meme. Casino is letting someone to win especially those small capital gambler so that the first player will spread how easy to win then trap those next players to bet there all assets since there is already someone who can easily win. This meme just show how greediness of a person can destroy there life in an instant.
3583  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bad week mojo lost on: March 29, 2021, 11:05:47 AM
I have been trading in Binance futures the last month or so and it was going really well
I was using my own judgement, analyzing TA etc, following people on the leader board and following signals
All was going great and was dreaming of buying an apartment which on my current directory would be in about 1-2 months

However it all went down the toilet. One free telegram group I am in, which does have good signals, sent me a signal for a long on Wednesday evening I put on the trade and it hit target one, however kept it open with a TP at target 2. I was crossed at 20X which was the leverage I had been using for the last two weeks.
Well it all went to hell. We had the major dump and I lost it all.
I know I should have quit the trade before and put my money in a short but I had done a couple of other such trades and the market had fallen only to go back up. I just hit my liquidation point and the coin did recover up to the TP target.

Now I want to dust myself up and start again, learn from my mistake but I have lost my mojo with it all. Up til Wednesday I was on a winning streak and everything was going well but I dont trust myself now.
I put on a trade and if it falls by 20% (leveraged) I close the trade only for it to go back up.
I am looking for strategies or tools to try and figure out a better game plan with futures, I can see huge potential just need to get focused and try again

Strategy? Don’t ever use high leverage because your trading is very risky and purely a gambling. Second, Always use stop loss especially on your leverage trading and lastly, Never trust public telegram channel that giving away signal, They are just using your money just to pump the coin they enter earlier then dump at once once they reach there target profit. Waiting for all TP to hit is insane considering your leverage.

Be patient always in trading,
3584  Economy / Reputation / Re: Let's take action against unpaid Signature/Bounty campaign together. on: March 29, 2021, 10:36:47 AM
How long this will run?

We will all work together so that no one can cheat us.
Let's do it, Sometimes we can see project go to good place but, they cheat with campaign hunters, out main target is those project. If project cheat with us, Then we will destroy that project all together. We will success this mission, If we work together and if we get support from forum seniors.
[/color]

I’m interested on how you will work together just to fight this long time problem of this forum. The problem was you can’t determine easily if the project is scam or not unless they commit it already. Except for those obviously showing mistakes such as plagiarism on other project materials and whitepaper. Besides that, only few trusted member here are already joining bounty campaign so most member you will recruit is newbie or spammers. It’s to just avoid joining rather than risking your time joining it. Don’t be a victim.
3585  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unikrn.com on: March 28, 2021, 02:56:54 PM
There website is pretty messy and there's a lot of country restricted on accessing there casino base on there ToS. I have an account there and they seems not accepting cryptocurrency that's why they don't promote here. There's a lot of available sportsbook here with user friendly website and ToS. Don't waste time there.  Wink
3586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 28, 2021, 01:08:31 PM
Stipe Miocic really couldn't handle any more damage from Francis Ngannou. He couldn't believe his eyes that he went down so fast in the second round. Undoubtedly Ngannou is formidable and really deserves the title of new UFC Heavyweight Champion. We hope to see another challenger soon.

I thought Stipe was prepared for Ngannou brute force since he already knew that Ngannou was improved dramatically compared on there first match. The match is very one-sided and I believe there will be no rematch since the challenger completely dominate the Champs. Stipe should go on lower division or else his career will be completely destroyed in Heavy Weight.
3587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DBC is back and high on steroids!!!!!!!!! on: March 28, 2021, 11:27:52 AM
I like the fact that they are moving from neo blockchain to Polkadot blockchain, dot is very popular now with huge community, this will be good for the DBC project,
but my concern is when will the swap go live if there will be enough information to reach everyone and if the transition will be smooth, am wondering to buy now or wait after the mainnet launch to jump in to save myself the trouble of swapping.

If you want to scoop a coin before it was discovered, You should buy now before it migrate to Polkadot blockchain. Most of the project on Polkadot ecosystem gain attention from investors and the chance for a price discovery that time will be high. But if you want to make sure, Just wait what will be the movement of the price and just ride wave.

The OP already mention that this project is not active on marketing so it means that the current price is not that fully discovered.
3588  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: March 28, 2021, 11:00:04 AM
Welcome to bitcointalk Smiley Seems like new promising online casino appeared. Please make yourself trustworthy of your users' money.
I would be playing here soon especially if you will have promotions like other casinos are doing in this forum. And... What about bonuses and rakebacks?

You must first create an account in order to view Rakeback I see there are 28 types of levels with variations of the rakeback at least $10,000 wager is needed to unlock reward unfortunately there is no more detailed explanation regarding what we get at each level I found only part of it https://blog.rollbit.com/rollbit-rewards-breakdown/

Based on what I read and understand about there blog was the reward system is based on the total house edge profit of the casino. They will give a certain portion from it as rakeback reward fof players each level means the higher percentage you will get on the house edge profit. This reward system is newly introduced and you can only check the reward once you already play there and get some experience points.
3589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scarsity, the reason it's worth hodling bitcoin on: March 28, 2021, 05:00:04 AM
Even at the current market value, it is considered high for some of us. It will still get higher once the supply becomes scarce and few elites in the society own and control it, decide it.

The problem was, Will people still buying Bitcoin even though the price continuous rising? I bet at some point the price will become stable even before there will scarcity on the supply. The reason why Bitcoin still rising is because new people entering in crypto that willing to buy on current price. If most of the people owned Bitcoin before the supply was maxed out. I believe the price growth will halt that time because no one will buy high price Bitcoin if everyone is already holding it.
3590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have papersafe bitcoin stock certificate with balance. on: March 27, 2021, 03:19:48 PM
Oh? It's my first time hearing something like papersafe bitcoin stock certificate. How does it work? At first i thought that it's like some bank account, like you can just show yout certificate and able to get your bitcoin. But then, seeing you don't know the password, it means that the certificate won't help if you don't know the password huh, is it just a formality or what?
If it really can store your bitcoin, it might be the solution for people who keep forgetting or losing their btc password, and lost a huge amount because of it. Might be back here later to know more about this.

Simply, It's just a bitcoin wallet in a form of paper. The certificate is just to authenticate that the paper is loaded with BTC so that the person who will buy it or in case this paper wallet will change hand overtime can guarantee that the item is legit. In my experience, Paper wallet don't have password. It only contains private key to access the wallet address. So losing or destroying the paper wallet are the only danger for having this kind of wallet.
3591  Economy / Economics / Re: Flexible Work Schedule on: March 27, 2021, 01:23:37 PM
It depends on the nature of the work. Some work are not suitable for this method especially for those production work such as Manufacturing, Construction and other industries that requires physical work most of the time. Flexible working schedules is indeed convenient considering all the apps and gadget that we can use to meet our communication needs. The cons on this kind of working setup was weak coordination. It's hard to express what you really want to say via online only.
3592  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor One vs Ledger Nano S-which one is safer? on: March 27, 2021, 10:54:12 AM
Hello everybody,

I'm new to cryptocurrencies and I want to buy my first hardware wallet.

Let me just say that I didn't know where exactly should I put this thread,so I opened it in general section.I kindly ask mods to move it to right part of the forum if this one isn't appropriate.

I narrow down my choice to Trezor One and Ledger Nano S.

I would like to know few things that will help me choose between two.

Both of them are good ones and you can buy anyone without any concern. However, do you have enough bitcoins with you that you actually need a hardware wallet ?  You already told that you are new in cryptocurrencies so i assume you will not have much money in crypto. If this is the case, you can postponed the idea of buying hardware wallet until you are holding a bag of bitcoins and altcoins.

I believe using hardware wallet is the best for him to avoid scam and hacked on his account regardless on what is the amount of his current holdings. Newbie are prone on danger since they can easily exposed there private key on some phishing website or malicious malware since they don't have much experience on cryptocurrency.
3593  Economy / Economics / Re: Miners Hodling Rates Increases. on: March 26, 2021, 03:40:30 PM

Is it a good sign for bitcoiners? Or we should get ready for a massive dumb incoming?

for me in my opinion i don't know if it's a good sign that the miners still keep holding their mined BTC wherein despite of the current situation? ..because you know they're the only reason why there are some fluctuation in the market. So it's very suspicious. In my view seems like they have another plans.. Im hoping its positive because if it's not expect more drop of price soon or later.

As you can see in the chart. Miners are continuously selling there holdings since last year to take some profit. Its a good sign that they are holding because it will give scarcity again on the supply of BTC Circulating in the market which will drive the price up. This is simply the law of supply and demand to analyze what will be the effect of miners holding there token.
3594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problems with high fees on: March 26, 2021, 03:04:31 PM
As stable coin all people use USDT coin and i think it is most usefull coin for fund Transferring and we know that first time USDT fees was 0.00 on TRC20 network but now it not free. But you can use this way becouse i use this, you can sell your fund and Buy TRX, its fees is too low, then send your fund and next you can sell your TRX and buy stable coin.

Tron is not so trusted
Need More time or Research about tron
I Don't Trust tron
What about BSC? this chain is also charging very cheap fees for the its users and that's why there are lots of platforms from ethereum migrated to the BSC chain too. I see that even it consumes less than 1 cents for a single transaction and it's really worth to try

BSC is centralized that's why transaction fee is much cheaper compared on Decentralized Blockchain. I wonder if OP will use that since he already declined Tron TRC20 USDT which is almost free transaction fee.

Try Litecoin instead OP or XRP since you already mention it..
3595  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading, is it worth? on: March 22, 2021, 03:03:10 PM
Day trading is worth it if you have a lot of time or full time in trading like trading for a living. Consider too the size of your portfolio because you need a good amount of capital for it since you are dealing with a consistent trading fee per arbitrage so it's important that you consider the size of your portfolio is huge to cover the trading fee.

I do day trading before and gain profit but when I compared when I just hold it, I have more profit when I just hold.
3596  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆⚽| Adkinsbet.com | Sportsbook | In-Play | Powered by Betradar | ⚽🏆 on: March 22, 2021, 02:06:32 PM
Just deposit 0.5 ltc and cant see them on my account. Can someone help?

Can you atleast provide screenshot to your balance and put the transaction ID of your deposit to verify your concern. Because your coin might not yet confirmed on LTC blockchain but sometimes adkinsbet has problem on syncing account balance. Do you try to contact support on there website atleast?
3597  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Php High Rates on Binance? on: March 22, 2021, 01:38:31 PM
Don't ever try na mag deal sa mga yan. It's either nagkamali lng ng setup yan ng price or scammer yan na idi dispute ka kapag nagdeclare na sila na nasend ang funds. Napaka hassle at aksaya ng oras yung mga too good to be true na offer jan sa P2P. Mas better na sa mga subok na seller nalang makipagtrade para iwas bogus at tipid sa oras especially kapag urgent yung need sa pera.
3598  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How to find a team for a project? on: March 22, 2021, 12:50:16 PM
When it comes to money, it is best to build a network and create trust in your own environment. If you start looking for online partners or developers, you never know whether you can trust the person and in the worst case, the person will run off with your money or crypto. So watch out and stay safe. Smiley

Considering that we are currently experiencing pandemic. Work are force to become work from home setup and startup team is not exempted to that. There is videocall app such as zoom that let team members interact live and they can know each other through that method since its face to face interaction.
3599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: March 21, 2021, 03:29:52 PM
Some used to pacify themselves with the term it is their fate to loss in gambling. Some say it is the lack of control that makes them loss big. Here I'm taking this into discussion relative to the game - Dice.

Same as this some used to mention winning as fate and some term the same as luck. I believe win out of dice is trick, and right exit strategy.

What is the truth in this regard, because users like me are always go lack of control even when luck is on our side. End of the day used to pacify thyself terming it as our fate and move on. Hope you guys don't do this mistake. Cry Cry
Maybe it's just their excuse because it's your choice to gamble in the first place so expect that losing might occur in this situation. Losing doesn't mean that you're losing irl, you can learn from it and use it to develop yourself in gambling. Also, controlling your emotions really means a lot in gambling that's why people are trying to get rid of it to think properly and not to be greedy. If it's your fate to win because of your action, then you'll win and if it's your fate to lose then it's you'll lose but it will always depend on your actions.

Win or lose is not solely depends in your action IMHO. Let's say we are talking about DICE game here, Every roll is  just a chance to win or lose so you can't do anything to change the result. If you lose that roll then you lose it and vice versa.

Playing gambling for a long period of time will surely give user a sure loss due to human error. But as I said above, each round result is purely chance.
3600  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slotman.com - Online Casino - Fast Withdrawals - 1000+ Games - Exclusive Bonus on: March 21, 2021, 12:50:03 PM
What happen to the OP..?

There's no clear picture and details of this certain site, OP is not active anymore too, maybe they are not serious in running their business here, because if they are they will take care of the very important details.

They are not active even on all there social media account. There website is not updated anymore and looks like don't have a regular maintenance. The casino is either dying or abandoned already by the owner after crypto currency market price surge since Q4 last year. Maybe the owner decided to cashout all his cryptocurrency instead on continuing this business.
