I am not for imposing taxes on transactions. However, if they are to ban bitcoin thoroughly, I will move along with the taxes because whether you like it or not, the government is more powerful than you and you can do nothing to it. On the other hand, taxes should not be high, otherwise users will get bored and they will stop transacting. And to be honest, taxes are better than getting bitcoin banned.
Taxing anyway may not be fully implemented since bitcoin is decentralized and anonymous ,once we convert it that's the only time we need to pay our taxes and we can't run from it, so be wise on spending and converting crypto, its ok to pay taxes as long as we see the projects of the government. |

That is great news and everything, but Samsungs goal here is to make money. They don't really care much about cryptocurrencies, they saw that graphic cards and mining rigs are expensive yet people buy them a lot and that they can make a lot of money by making mining chips.

Always bear in your mind if you invest in ICO today, "HOPE FOR THE BEST BUT ALWAYS PREPARE FOR WORST", to expect best result of your investment in ICO all the while being prepared with options in case it is the worst one possible, there is a few investor in ICO today being fooled, beacause they don't prepare for the worst.
Tell me how to prepare for the worst please. If a token is -90% from its ICO price once it is distributed, what will you do? If that ICO still has a product, they should at least make a decision to do another development, reinvent or do some buyback or burn unused tokens to at least recover losses, contact devs on what they planned to do. They will sure have plan if that project have what it takes. |

the most important is funding in the project actually exists or not, so it can check that the correct wallet there is funding to run projects in order to at least get to know a scam and sturdiness. other than that I think the team is also required.
Having working products and the known team can at least save us from scam for there are names that are at risk if ever they tried to cheat their participants, but we should still give chance to newbies just keep updated on where about and do research on how they can make the project successful. I don't afraid with eth down, eth is widely being used for a lot of ICO, so it will slowly go up and recover, the price movement is a bit slow but for sure it won't die and eth could be used for long term investment, eth is one of the recommended coins that may replace BTC one day

For my opinion,nope bitcoin is not secured but it has a high potential of earning. Just like all other investments protocol dont pour all you assets on one item that your not sure of for if you lose youll drop hard. What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.

Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.

This is an unfair practice and should not be allowed to implement, this us a form of deception knowing that some participants will say no to kyc, they will end up not receiving their stakes, those who implement their KYC should get negative rating from the community. Therr should be a notification before joining. Applying new rules when the bounty is over is not good. Many still don't want KYC even it is for their own benefits. |
