Yes the wallet is OK, there's no virus in it. I posted these instructions recently as to how you can allow LINDA to exist on your PC: Go to Windows Defender Security Center, then click the Shield Icon, then Virus & threat protection settings, then scroll down to Exclusions. Maybe make an Excluded folder on your desktop or choose an existing folder and add it to the Excluded list there. Then you can download/run the LINDA wallet into this excluded folder, and it should be able to stay there and also use the %APPDATA% folder for the data without warnings or errors. |

Ok ive run the command and i got this: "Not capable masternode: Could not find suitable coins!" I believe my wallet was outdated on that node, so ive updated it we will see if it stay up over time!
Im sure it was only outdated.
Ok cool, another thing to check is your Send -> Inputs screen (enabled under display settings if you can't see it) and make sure there's exactly 500 Crave in that MN's address still, sometimes it goes a bit weird with staking or refund TXs and the value goes to more than 500 which causes the same error to come up. |

Staking is much easier than setting up a masternode, all you need to do is have a wallet with as much PIV as possible in it, and it needs to be unlocked for staking (if you've encrypted the wallet). Then a green arrow will appear at the bottom right of the wallet, and you need to keep the wallet open at all times. Then at some random moment (not predictable) you'll get a staking reward. It might take several days based on how many PIV you have. |

Hehe very nice  I think posting on BTC Talk more often is good, because the announcement thread will get seen more, we'll increase our activity points and BTC talk is better for finding and retaining older posts. Trying to find old information on the slack channel is annoying because you scroll up and then it reloads and loses it's place. Anyway I'm going to be more active on here, and anyone else that would like to help promote Crave around the forum is welcome to use and adapt the signature ad code. |

That's a lot of new stuff, pretty exciting, just bought my first lot of SYNX based on the potential. It's cool how this coin is on a bunch of exchanges already, it could go far if more people/devs get involved. Would be good to see the freeze patch applied to the official release. It's annoying, and very similar to Neutron wallet. Makes me wonder if the same patch would work for Neutron.. |

no it just delete it. if i stop defender and install and run it works. but when enabling defender again it deletes linda immediately without asking. if defender is running when downloading the wallet it deletes it when download is complete.

hello all my windows defender delete the linda wallet, is there gonna be an update to the wallet so we dont have to stop windows defender.
There's a warning at the start that comes up for me with Windows Defender, but it's more like an "Are you Sure?" prompt. And you can click a little link and then a "Run Anyway" button comes up, which you can click to run it. But I've never had it delete anything. Is there an message that tells you why it's deleting it? In worst case I think you can set exceptions to certain .exe files and then it should leave it alone. LINDA is running well for me under Windows 7 and Windows 10. |

I've just gone over the Sr. Member threshold so thought I'd bling up my profile a bit. Seeing I'm a big Crave fan I've gone all in with my Sig.
I'm happy to change it or improve it based on feedback. I was also wondering if you guys would be keen to brainstorm a good ad signature for crave and use it yourselves for a while?
I can share my sig code here or if anyone has something better I'd adopt that. It might help amp up the volume a bit on the markets and have a positive feedback loop.
And I don't want to be seen as part of the Crave core team, because I'm not. So let me know if I need to tone it down a bit. Cheers!

The older wallet will be on a different chain. The last update was mandatory. All of his stakes are invalid to the actual chain.
Thanks for confirming, I've told him the bad news. There must still be quite a few masternodes running the old version if the see-saw algo is skewed that far over.. |

I'm staking a bunch of PIVX and getting 2.249 PIVX as a reward on current wallet version, but a friend of mine is staking with an older wallet and getting stake rewards of 1.7PIVX - is that because he's on the older wallet or are these stakes actually on a different chain? Cos he keeps telling me how often it's staking I'm wondering if it's actually broken. I've told him to upgrade but he thought it might break his good luck streak and hasn't yet.

Hey tkon3, it's been a while, im running a few nodes and everything is going fine, but i've started a new one and for some reason this one is not starting.
I did just like the others, i've moved 500 craves in it, generated a key, and got the outputs txid with the output index, set the config file on the node and the masternode config file on the controller.
I did the whole process 2 times and every time it fails, it starts but stop.
If you run ./craved masternode debug on the node what comes up? I've found you need to wait for 16 confirmations of the collateral transaction before the node will start properly and report that it's started using that earlier command. |

If you haven't bought mining gear yet then have a look at http://masternodes.pro/ - these are coins that can make more of themselves without the costs of mining gear. You could run some VPS nodes to make more crypto of your choice as a passive income stream, sell these coins and buy other coins with the proceeds. I've converted a lot of my original BTC to these kinds of coins and am getting good returns so far, while still retaining the collateral. There is a risk if there's an ALT selloff that everything becomes worth less than before in BTC terms. But you can sell the proceeds regularly as a sort of cost averaging and end up with a lot of BTC. |

Nice to see once a good scam project being brought back to life. I looked everywhere but couldn't find a roadmap. Do you have one besides getting listed back to Bittrex? There's several things listed as **in development on the first white block on the home page of https://www.craveproject.com/ and there's more news coming according to some recent posts on the slack channel. Also a mobile wallet has been discussed. |
