I'm going to keep an updated "starter JSON" for new people coming into this plugin.  We shouldn't all have to keep typing and searching for the same information.  Hopefully, this will help some others.

But... I've run into a new issue.  When I run the plugin, I'm getting the following errors now.  It seems like something changed with Cryptopia's information, and the plugin is not able to interpret it the same?

It just repeats the last little bit over and over and never creates the customcoins.json.  I even extracted a fresh version of the original version 0.3 7Zip file and left everything as it was, even the original config.json file just to make sure I didn't do something funky with all my coins added in the new config.json file.

Any ideas Sootha?
Thank you for this list. I was considering adding a WebAPI for added ones to submit new coins automatically and pull new ones...

Is it still doing that? Try deleting your localcoins.json file - might be corrupt. That looks like a really weird Cryptopia error.. something must have been up with their API over the weekend but I honestly cannot say.. did nothing but spam LoL 3v3s all weekend cause my GF worked  Tongue

I keep geeting "please make sure you have skein, C11, Cryptonight, Scrypt, neoscrypt, etc added in your algorithms. But of course, I do have these enabled! Any idea what could be going on?
Also, any support for MLM (mktcoin)

Thanks!
Either A) you don't have those algos typed exactly as show (skien vs Skein) or B) you don't have the HTTP API enabled.

You know, looking at the prices of second hand 1050 Ti's online, it makes more sense for me to just hold on to the rig and 'run it into the ground' as it where.
Exactly what you said last thread.. yet here you are again..

I don't why you are so keen to hijack the thread anyway. What has it got to do with you?
I like to shit on shitty sales threads. Or I get off on making people angry. Or I have nothing better to do. Or I'm at work and bored waiting on code to compile. Take your pick.

Any thoughts on adding SouthXChange?

Also, would it be possible if a coin is not on a supported exchange to just not write anything to the coin value field? This way the difficulty is still live updated by the explorer but I can set a manual coin value without it being over written?
I can put it on the list.

Unfortunately the API would not allow me to do that. I must pass a value and that value would always overwrite whatever you have put.

Is the API two way? Can you pull the value back that its currently set to? For example, if I overwrite it, could the program realize its no longer zero and continue to pass that new value instead?
Nope, 1 way

Does CT support connecting to to multiple accounts on a single exchange for the API import?

i.e. if I have multiple accounts on Binance (for example) can I use the API import for both of them?
Yes you can. Binance auto API is broken atm. Has been for months. Have to manually do it.

Second plugin has been released. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3047367

AwesomeMiner Masternodes 0.1
Updates your active masternodes and shows their daily income within AwesomeMiner.

In AwesomeMiner:

Program:

I am releasing my second plugin for AwesomeMiner. This brings your active Masternodes to within AwesomeMiner. (You can find AwesomeMiner here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=676942.0)

This is not for the technically illiterate. I am making nothing off this program. I do not offer support. I will however, be monitoring for good ideas, enhancements, etc. There WILL be bugs.

AwesomeMiner Masternodes 0.3 (Requires AwesomeMiner 4.5 Release)
  • Added support for ALQO
  • Added support for DASH
  • Added support for Phore (PHR)
  • Added support for PIVX
  • Added support for LUXCoin (LUX)
  • Added support for CROWN (CRW)
  • Added support for BitCloud (BTDX)
  • Added support for Diamond (DMD)

Latest release available in Mega link below.

AwesomeMiner Masternodes 0.2 (Requires AwesomeMiner 4.5 Release)
  • Added support for GAS Staking (Yeah it's not a Masternode, come at me.)
  • General stability improvements

Latest release available in Mega link below.

AwesomeMiner Masternodes 0.1
Updates your active masternodes and shows their daily income within AwesomeMiner.

Supported Masternodes:
  • INN
  • SPK
  • VIVO
  • PIRL
  • KORE
  • XZC
  • GAS Staking
  • ALQO
  • DASH
  • Phore (PHR)
  • PIVX
  • LUXCoin (LUX)
  • CROWN (CRW)
  • BitCloud (BTDX)
  • Diamond (DMD)

Directions:
1) If you have not already, enable the AwesomeMiner HTTP API on port 17790 (no authentication). This program must be run on the same machine as AwesomeMiner (for now.) Also you need to have created an Algorithm within AwesomeMiner called "Staking".

2) Add your masternodes to the masternodes.json file. One config per line.
  • INN - Reward field is required
  • SPK - Reward field is required
  • VIVO - Reward field is required
  • PIRL - Reward field NOT required
  • KORE - Reward field NOT required
  • XZC - Reward field NOT required

3) Launch the program.

4) In AwesomeMiner, add a new External Miner. The first masternode would be "localhost:10000". The next will be "localhost:10001" - the plugin will tell you which Masternode is available on which port. These typically are in the config order and do not change, but the ports are dynamic in order to ensure successful launch. You MUST set the software type to "CCMINER"

5) Once the program has updated the data and the miners show as online in AwesomeMiner, you will most likely need to right click each Masternode in AwesomeMiner and "Define Coin" and choose the appropriate one. Some of the Masternodes will generate coins within AwesomeMiner such as "INN_MN" - use the Masternode varients.

good point. I'm shocked their isn't a API GET function for current mining reward.
Believe me.. the lack of structure in most of this drives me up the wall. Some of the newer block explorers (such as PIRL's) are really nice though.

Hi soothaa, thaks for your wonderfull work!!

I have some questions for you, if the plug in, have to be running all time 24/7 couldnīt be a good idea, to create a rule on AM to run the plug in? or, for check every n time if plug in is running/online?

Could you please help me with this rule creation?

Thanks in advance
The plugin has to be running all the time currently. I have no plans to change it.

Great work,

Couple suggests to think about.

Self detecting API format. I think you mentioned there are 3 you support and each one has a specific format, should be pretty easy to detect which one the coin uses.

Can you average the last 10 or so block times? this would also reduce user input and give slightly more accurate outputs.

Great work as always. Keep it up.
Yes, the "auto-selection" API was on my list. Really what I wanted was a function that you could feed nearly any URL to it and it would extract the data no mater what - that would be quite a challenge though.

So you're thinking.. use the BlockExplorer to pull the last several blocks and calculate the block time based on that? Interesting idea and it could possibly work with the exception that most BlockExplorers show masternode and PoS blocks in the list with no ability to differentiate the two.. that would kill the usefulness very quickly.

New Bug:

I went to add the following line to the config
{CoinFullName: "Argo", CoinShortName: "ARGO", Algo: "Skein", BlockReward: 40, BlockTime: 90, BlockExplorer: "http://explorer.argocash.com/ext/summary", BlockExplorerType: "Iquidus"}

After I did that and restarted the plug in, I now get. The error in the image below.

I tried so far tried (with no success)

1) removing that line from the config
2) extracted a new/clean copy of version 0.3 plugin
3) fully restarted awesome miner
4) removed all custom coins from awesome miner itself

Doesnt seem like there is anything I can do to recover the plugin. Is there another place the plugin stores data or has data that interacts with awesome miner that may have caused this bug?

Thanks!

The missing files were me trying to trim down the release, I found that they were unneeded.

Just off the top of my head.. it looks like maybe you have a leading space in your config file? If that's not the case, please copy/paste your exact config here using the code tags.

Also: anyone who wants help in the future - use this guys post as a model on how to ask. It's nearly perfect.

That was exactly the problem. I had an extra line at the end of the config. Once that was deleted it worked perfectly again. Thanks!
Glad to hear it. I will add making "reading in the config file more robust" on my TODO list.

AwesomeMiner Coin Updater 0.3 (Requires AwesomeMiner 4.5 Release)
  • Added support for UExplorer
  • Added support for any coin on CryptoChainz
  • Added support for CryptoBridge Exchange

You can find the latest update in the Mega link.

Awesome, thank you! So far, appears to be working perfect.

Could you shed some light on how your smoothing algorithm for difficulty works? I notice it seems to start difficulty very low (resulting in a very high estimated profit) and then starts approaching the actual difficulty value. I also noticed this behavior seems to "reset" if I close and reopen the plugin.

FYI, the block difficulty you have in for CURV is about double what it should be. Need to cut it in half since half the block goes to MN's. Also CROP coin is fully PoS now, no more mining.
Good to hear.

It just starts collecting the difficulty every 60 seconds, adds it to an array, then calcuates the average. So it will eventually reach a max of 24 hours average difficulty. It should not reset.. that data is supposed to be saved out to the LocalCoinData.json file and be read in at run.. I'll try and look and see if there's a bug in there somewhere..

Block difficulty or block reward?  Looks like you mean reward.. found some data here: https://hashfaster.com/site/mining - will update my source file. I have not yet figured a way to easily fix changing block rewards because the data is very hard to come by.
