145 BTC have been paid out this week! Smiley

As promised, no automatic auto re-investments. Everyone with a working payout address has received their payouts.

Well i am sure alot of people will be happy with no auto reinvestments on the accounts, thank you for fixing this issue  Smiley

I am missing a Umisoo payout from last night. Probably going to be an issue every weekend.

Safe to assume I am not the only one?

i am not having any issues with them, i got payment just fine granted seemed to be smaller but i did have some trades so maybe that is why umisoo payments was less for me

How efficient is Umisoo ATM? I thought these got powered off?

when i checked it was at 92.73% percent, as i have said before i dont log into the account every day so i do not keep up to date with the up to date maintanace fees. Keep in mind this was a few days ago i see the bitcoin price has gone up like $10 since then

Ok. So give me a bunch of upgrades. There's a chance I'll pay you for them. Point taken?

If the payout is too high a direct approach would be to simply reduce the earnings rate and thus the payout. People trust known, definable parameters. They don't trust chances. People still trust a bank which lowers the interest rate accounts are paying. They don't trust one which says there's a chance they'll get their money back. Simply lowering the return is straightforward and relatively trustworthy.

I think you misunderstand the system. It's not a chance based system but rather a competitive platform. However, simply reducing the payout rates immediately issues 2 problems. The main problem is it does not solve anything. It only postpones the issue. Secondly, the current payout rate is already quite low and I believe that further reducing the payouts would cause an equal discomfort amongst some other members.

Any change will always make people uncomfortable - it has always been this way. Remember all the changes to the Facebook design? Many of my friends hated changes but are still regular users today. I can only see the competitive payout scheme as a step in the right direction. Many games are competitive in some way which is appealing to many users.

I do not misunderstand the system. However you wish to spin it there's only a chance an individual will be paid. In effect it's no different than when a site goes scam and stops paying some of the users, it's just got a fancy ribbon around it. If the site can't be maintained without not paying the majority of users each month you should just shut it down. Enough said.

wow why are you getting all worked up, for real just relax. For example i have all my upgrades by clicking one captcha at a time. I have not deposited one single satoshi into the game. So if the game goes bust so be it was fun while it lasted, this is just something i do while i am at work. It is not meant to make you bitcoin rich or anything like that

EDIT: Oh yes and I almost forgot. Without revealing any specific strategies to the game, once the game is released it will be clear that you will be able to get Bitcoin from alternative sources than simply winning the prizes.

ok i can already sense the paranoia from some people it seem, also yeah i agree with what you said with changes on facebook i hated them myself i quit playing for like 2 months but am still there today lol
365  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ANX working against the spirit of Bitcoin on: May 03, 2015, 08:33:32 AM
With much excitement I signed up for the ANX debit card, ordering the max of 10 cards, and paying nearly 300 USD, plus loading my cards and express mail verification.  I had to wait 3 months to apply as I need to switch power bills in my name.

I hold a USA passport but have permanent residency in Ecuador, meaning I have life time residency, government issued ID, and legal this is my tax residency, and KYC residency.

WARNING to all getting excited about ANX, ANX will refuse you without giving any reason at all and you may lose your money for your printed cards. I provided 3 photo IDs, me holding all of these IDs and a power bill from the government power company.  I paid over 500 USD, and I still have not received back my money.  I am here at the house waiting for an express verification that may never come.

I received the following:

"Thank you for submitting the verification documents again. Kindly note that we received all your verification documents as many as you described.
Unfortunately in this instance our external KYC vendor has not approved your application. The vendor does not disclose specific details as to why a verification request is rejected.
Our sincerest apologies but we can not proceed further with your verification request.
Apologies that we can not be more helpful.
Keith
Customer Support Team"

Ok bitcoin community, its not us, its  "our external KYC vendor" that is screwing you.

We are refusing you without reason, or refund is the jest of it.  Does this sound like what we as the bitcoin community should accept from our providers?  I would expect a bank to refuse without cause.  Bitcoins are about being transparent. For example, you have been denied because you are american, at least that I can understand, and I know not to refer USA passport holders to ANX.

I have no criminal record and good credit.  Is it the color of my skin? Is it my country?  They dont say, is this what we should expect from our bitcoin providers?

We need to stand up together and make sure companies like ANX cannot do stuff like this.  ANX has the right to refuse, but they most certainly should give a reason, and not pass the buck onto "external providers".

I am in contact with the local bitcoin community, both in Chili, peru and Ecuador to see what can be done to make sure our block isnt discriminated in this fashion, and ANX will be brought up in a public forum of my bitcoin peers.  I will state my name and not pass the buck on to external providers.

In the mean time use cation when applying for cards from them, as you may lose hours of your time.  I am not going to go as far as calling them a scam at this point, but I am certainly out 500 USD that has not yet been refunded and it appears cards are in the mail.

In the very least I am owed 500 USD and an explanation of why I have been refused.

Anyone who was rejected by ANX when applying for a bitcoin debit card should apply for the WageCan card instead, their approval process is much less complicated and you will most likely be approved.

what is this new card have never heard of it anywhere before right now, and i never knew anyone could be denied for a anx debit card considering it is a reloadable card

I have read several reports of people being turned down for the ANX card, usually because of a recent address change or poor credit score. Approval is not automatic it seems. WageCan is one of three bitcoin debit cards shipping to US. Outside of the US there are other options full listing at your bitcoin debit card options.

mmmm interesting i never knew they was turning people based on credit, i always figured was like a gift mastercard prepaid gift card, i thought once you put money in it was good to use anywhere. Well except for things like car rentals or hotels or buy beer

Could you add a QR code to help with depositing bitcoin from a mobile device please?
I don't trust myself to send decent amounts of money by typing in a very long code, especially when it is irreversible!

A QR code would be greatly appreciated.

out of curiosity if you or anyone in general i dont care, can answer me what is a QR code and how is it used and how is it better than having a physical address? and is a QR code faster to send and receive bitcoin?  Huh
368  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: May 03, 2015, 08:17:47 AM
Today I got an sms with a verification code. I didn't try to log in, so I was very surprised. After that I tried to log in to check what happened, but after entering my e-mail and pin it said invalid credentials. I also tried to log in with my phone number, same thing.
I contacted support to help me, I hope they will.

ahhh man i am sorry to hear that  Cry  do you perhaps have kids or relatives who would have messed with your computer on accident or just to be nossy  Huh  Huh  Huh maybe roommates or friends, i know one time some of my friends came over and tried to log on because it looked cool lol
369  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: May 03, 2015, 08:15:19 AM
I have a debit card on the way, and want one for my wife too.
Sure, she could open up her own xapo account and apply for a card, and we're willing to do that.
But if there is no way to link those two accounts together, so that they have a shared balance, it becomes too much of a hassle.

Let's say her account holds 300 dollars worth of bitcoin, mine 500. Neither of us is able to buy something with our card which costs 650 dollars.
But if the two accounts had a shared balance, we would have 800 dollars. See my point?
The way it is now, we would have to move funds before making said purchase, which seems inconvenient.

mmmm good question, i personally dont see why it cant be done. I do not think would be any different than what alot of us are already doing with joint bank accounts or credit cards
370  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: May 03, 2015, 08:08:32 AM
I have two accounts within the same account if that makes sense, and a debit card for each one. There for emergency only so the fees are not that much of a problem. There just handy to have as a back up.I would recommend Xapo to anyone but you have to give your personal details and US citizens with US addresses cant get a debit card

How did you do that? Are those accounts linked together (shared balance)?
No I have an account with xapo in that account I can have sub accounts, maybe a hot wallet another one a cold wallet and I have a deep vault for long termstorage

Yeah i was actually wondering is the Xapo cold storage the same thing coinbase does or are they doing something different and does it take days to get money out?  Huh

So my shares marked as "transferred" from amhash to havelock never appeared on HL, by this time i assume im just fucked up and dont have where to claim, right?

David,

Confirmed, there was one mistake of @wildblue.net to @wildblu.net when I transferred.
I emailed xxxxxxxxx@wildblu.net which was a wrong address to remind the failure transferring, and I just pushed those 8628 units to xxxxxxxx@wildblue.net on havelock minutes ago.

David, you can check the excel named amhash转移到HAVELOCK记录.xlsx, there was the failure transfer on 20150329

BR,
Alex

edit looks like i started this back on march 29th
Best regards
d57heinz

yeah but i thought all rights to any kinds of claims or legal recourse went out the window for all the people who took the partial divicend payments they offers here last week?

as usual big changes means less earning for most members.
those who have time will always win while those who can only spend 1-2 hours per week will never get paid.
when sites change to rounds they loose a lot of members and are left with a few who have no life and have all day to play.
so it looks like you are trying to close the site within 6-12 months

why would they give all this upgrades and bother making a new version of the game if they plan to shut it down in the time frame you mentioned of 6- 12 monts?
374  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Beta] MyBitMine.co | New Type Of Faucet | Get Bitcoin From Playing on: May 03, 2015, 04:02:39 AM
i played the pokemon on the gameboy i guess were silver on the time around 12 years already but that were great game to play  Grin my friend has it and on my free time on the school when he tired to play i play it  Grin on those time i had almost bought his gameboy but he broken it  Shocked

thanks for it  soo stats means investment as workers and others things.....

as i said before this will be a strategy game .lets say someone invest 1btc on the game this will get a great boost, and sure it will stay on top 300 ,but he has no time for play or if not set his strategy to be on top a free user with  free time to play will just hit the top ,i guess firsts rounds will be able to set a strategy to be on top , as i see on travian when i played several users jumped investing ,then two weeks later they were raided lol and lost almost all towns  Grin

If someone would invest 1 bitcoin into this game just to get ahead, well not much we can do about it, but i must say they must really love the gave to do that lol
375  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Beta] MyBitMine.co | New Type Of Faucet | Get Bitcoin From Playing on: May 02, 2015, 08:45:49 PM
personally I'm not a huge fan of the "Round based & the Competitive Payout Scheme" of 2.0

I wouldn't completely remove the option of selling Gold

I'm sure you will raise the BTC needed, I'm looking fwd to help

Good luck and thanks for your hard work

Thanks for your support!

I am the developer of the new mybitmine v2,
Although for some people the competitive payout scheme might not work out it would make the game more competitive among the players.

Hello i was just wondering are you the same person who we been talking to all this time or are you another person working together in partnership???  Huh
376  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: May 01, 2015, 02:07:59 PM
I just received a payout of what was left on my account of AMHash, I suppose my mining capacity is lost? Or should i send mail like they say on their website?

I'm not too sure. I do believe once you took payout of amhashlc you relinquish all rights to your hash.  Then from my understanding the person taking it over will take legal action.  To be honest I think it's the same guy and he just scammed us big time. But what do I know.

Best regards
D57heinz

lol wow that would be some messed up situation if it was the same person offering payouts saying here take payment and loose any legal rights and i will fight for the rest... only to have it be him/ she all along
377  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: May 01, 2015, 02:06:12 PM
i wish i was getting back around 8 btc.. instead more like 3  at .0003 per ghs Sad im at a point now where i will only buy miners for my farm use.  Maybe if all the legit cloud like bitmain  (only one i can think of sadly)  nothing against Bitmain, would go the extra mile and show proof and let me visit and it has to be in usa..  then and only then would i consider cloud... Be nice to get some non greedy people in this space they could make a bit of money runing a cloud OP and also help btc out aswell.. but no they continue to time in time out scam one after another.. i dont understand it.. all in this looking at short term.. Not too many in this space seeing the long term big picture.. But that is slowly changing.  Thankfully:)  I guess its good to see in the beginning who we can and cant trust  and sadly the only way is to experience it and unfortunately lose some money along the way(and Sanity).

Best Regards
d57heinz

Edit. For a trust less system to ever work at some point we have to start establishing Trust!!

oh man dude i am sorry to hear that, i guess at this point after all that has happened i would just be happy with 3 bitcoins but i would still be angry about not getting the 8 coins. Also bitmains hashnest is somewhere in China and i am sure they have no plans to move to the USA even to places with super cheap power like Washington state
378  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Beta] MyBitMine.co | New Type Of Faucet | Get Bitcoin From Playing on: May 01, 2015, 02:02:25 PM
as all know this version is beta soo is normal to find several bugs and yes all features with bug should be reported to try make it work on the new one if those options will stand there . Grin Grin

i personally think the game is doing pretty good even if it is just in beta phase as several people have pointed out, but like you said any bugs that are found should be reported on here
