Continuing this topic would be condoning the spread of spam on the forum. Just read what people wrote above, in particular hugeblack's post.

I don't think @OP have the money, but needs a loan. a newbie requesting a 1 BTC loan.
When I used the forum for the first time, it took me several weeks to figure out how to post correctly. Therefore, whoever owns this account knows the forum well, so this is most likely a scam.

I would like to request a 1 BTC loan.
I will pay in full April 8, 2024 with funds and interest.

You can also look into OP trust. Your observation, @hugeblack, turned out to be correct.

Has anyone looked at the history of his Bitcoin address on the forum? This is a scammer who doesn’t have the intelligence to change the wallet address and regularly makes requests for help or a loan.
It's spring, and it's time for schizophrenics to get worse.

As Bitcoin smashes its previous record highs even before the halving, it's a time of excitement for many. But let's not get too carried away. With the market becoming more unpredictable, we need to tread carefully. Some big players, like investment funds and ETFs, seem to be buying up Bitcoin aggressively, possibly to create scarcity and drive prices skyward. While this may seem like a good thing, there's a chance it's all part of a larger game they're playing. We need to keep our eyes open and not be blinded by the euphoria, as the market might have some surprises in store.

Honestly, diving into this isn't my top priority right now. I find the idea of aiming for perfection in predicting market highs and lows overwhelming. Instead, I prefer to stay flexible and ready for whatever comes my way. Have you jumped into Bitcoin yet? Opportunities were there at $17k or $15k. Missing out on those dips feels like a wasted chance, unless you're overly cautious about not getting enough returns. Personally, I've invested in Bitcoin and also set aside some USDT, ready to seize any market downturns. But if things keep going up, I'll stick with my Bitcoin strategy. Regardless of what the market does, it's important to stay adaptable and prepared for anything.

From my perspective, now might not be the best time to buy Bitcoin. It's worth considering purchasing during earlier stages of the bullish market, like in 2022. However, if you're without Bitcoin entirely, buying now could be an option with potential profit in mind. Just stay informed for future opportunities.

From my perspective, hitting an all-time high with SOL seems achievable. The steady rise in prices and Solana's ecosystem growth support this idea. However, I'm cautious because SOL can quickly surge or drop due to market sentiment and scandals. Despite the risks, taking advantage of the opportunities can lead to significant profits, given SOL's strong position in the crypto world.

From my perspective, the answer to that question leans towards a positive outcome. However, the real uncertainty lies in the timing - "When?" remains the pressing question. Despite this ambiguity, one thing is clear: it's not a matter of "if", but "when". Our financial system's ability to accumulate infinite debt suggests that money can essentially become limitless. Recognizing this notion sheds light on why the price of Bitcoin may have no upper bounds.

The recent Duncan update has taken Ethereum to new heights. Transaction fees are manageable at around $2, thanks to its L2 options, giving tough competition to other networks. Ethereum's L2 solutions, like Zksync, offer nearly free DEFI interactions, making it more popular than ever. While Solana and meme coins are rising, Ethereum's influence remains strong for the long haul

In my opinion, the link between Bitcoin and altcoins is steadfast and unshakeable. Despite attempts to separate them, they continue to move in sync. It's hard to predict how long this correlation will last, so for now, it's best to acknowledge it as part of the crypto landscape. When Bitcoin experiences gains or losses, it sets the tone for the entire market. While this connection might evolve over time, at present, it's an essential factor to consider in my trading decisions.

Personally believe that while we can't foresee the future, the growing awareness among business professionals about the benefits of blockchain networks will lead to increased adoption over time. Although governments may restrict crypto transactions, as long as they don't replace traditional currencies entirely, it shouldn't pose a major concern. Additionally, the introduction of taxes on crypto transactions and assets in various countries indicates a shifting regulatory landscape that we should adapt to.

In this uncertain market, it's risky to invest in smaller altcoins. They might seem promising, but many turn out to be scams. So, I'm sticking with well-known coins for now. They're safer bets. While smaller coins could offer big gains, they also come with big risks. I'd rather play it safe and slowly build my portfolio with established options. It's all about stability and security in this volatile world of crypto.

The ETF release is a significant development, but its impact will take time. Market dipped initially, but Bitcoin's price is expected to rebound. Patience is key as we await improvements. Despite fluctuations, Bitcoin has endured, and the ETF may attract more investors, bolstering adoption. Halving events will also affect market conditions. The current downturn offers a chance to acquire Bitcoin at lower prices, enabling us to accumulate more. So, it's vital to stay optimistic as market conditions are expected to improve.

In the volatile world of crypto, both buying and selling can lead to losses, as it's hard to predict the right entry and exit points. Many opt for Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA), particularly with top coins like BTC and ETH. However, I believe it's not yet time to apply DCA universally, except for major coins. Instead, I'm closely monitoring altcoin movements, considering a potential buy during halving events. Currently, my portfolio is brimming with altcoins, so I'm holding off on purchasing new ones. Despite a significant downturn last week, the altcoin market is showing promising growth this week.

Many of us are new to Bitcointalk, even though I am just a Jr. Member, but many are worried about how to start as a newbie or how to get merit. But I think we all have to agree that it’s not something to worry about or think too much about as a newbie. So today I will try to share my observations and thoughts about Bitcointalk, how to get started, or how to contribute to this forum. But again, as a newbie, I will be making mistakes. If I say something wrong, please correct me. So today I will try to share my observations and thoughts about Bitcointalk, how to get started, or how to contribute to this forum. I once had a record player, and the record would constantly stutter, causing phrases to repeat several times. OP, you brought me back to my childhood and the worst memories.
User, with four years of registration and one merit, teaches others how to live on the forum. Poor thing, is that all you learned here? Or are you that weak?

The first paragraph of your work requires reading several times on your own. Don't rape the community with this.

The speed of reading posts is simply Olympic. Grin HuhEspecially jumping from date to date.

I would also like to draw attention to two accounts whose merits are transferred at high speed. This behavior very loudly indicates that one account is brazenly raising the rank of another account, taking advantage of the fact that we still do not have a mark in the rules for the overflow of merits.

But if I were a manager, I would certainly notice such behavior and would not accept both accounts, only because the forum is not two people but a whole community, and besides my friend, or alternative account, dad, mom, or dog, there are other people whose posts are much better that should also be appreciated.
If these people, of course, understand what a community is.

I would note that a post that contains copy-paste with a link is rated three merits, which indicates that the sender and recipient are clearly not playing fairly on the forum.

Linux may be better for security than Mac or Windows but learning to use it is not feasible for the average person which is 99% of the population.

I would also like to say that in favor of Linux, by talking about it, you OP only prove that you have never tried to watch a video on setting up Linux. There may be more than one, but several lessons would give you a good idea that for the purposes you are talking about now, basic knowledge about Linux is quite enough to use it. Besides, you are too calm when you say that you use Windows Defender; this “guy” already gave several holes in 2023, so you don’t need to trust him, just like all the extensions that monitor your every move. VPN can disconnect at the wrong moment with the slightest connection problem, which will reveal your real IP, but you will have due confidence that you are protected.

When will people ever learn??

Cryptocurrencies are most commonly traded between 8amto 4pm in local time. While the crypto market is 24/7, your trade are more likely to be exchange when there is highest level of activity. Outside of these hours, when trading is lighter it can be more difficult to open and close trades.
Another perks of trading cryptocurrency is that you can buy it whenever you want. But many investors buy and sell cryptocurrencies during the same hours that the New York Stock Exchange ("NYSE") is open. But since you can buy and sell crypto at all hours of the day, you will need to know which hours are better for buying cryptocurrency.
While deciding the best time to trade crypto you also consider some factors like:
a) gas fees
b) market volatility
c) economic news and events
d) trading style and goals.

The addition of sources of merit is discussed here, when the topic itself shows that users have very skillfully learned to cope on their own. Why add another stream of merit so that the flow turns into a turbulent river of growing either alternatives or friends’ accounts, and maybe sales of these merits?

Although we declare that the issuance of merit should have freedom of action, perhaps such an overflow needs some kind of warning. Merit comes from somewhere among these users; therefore, there are many sources of merit, not insufficient.
369  Other / Meta / Re: What is the policy regarding AI generated images on the forum? on: April 06, 2024, 08:24:29 AM
Honestly!.. I'm beginning to think of how awful it'll look to surf through the forum and stumble on images like -- a kid riding on a bike part made outta water melon etc (cus some dickhead would actually come up with an illustration as weird as that)...

OP, unless you wanna be distrusted and ignored by so Many,  desist from AIs
It's quite a strange analogy. Unlike dry texts created by AI, the illustrations turn out to be very colorful and rich, and I don’t think there would be problems on the forum if the OP sometimes added several pictures. This is also true when adding ordinary pictures from the Internet if they are not someone else's property, as the author directly stated somewhere.
Strange as it might look to you, that's the reality(i just had to describe the worst instances yeah)...There's definitely no problem in using images like that for illustration in here - especially since there aren't any rules of any sort... That's not even the bone of contention : if you're giving a proposal, do you not try to create an imaginary foresight of what it'll look like? ..and how well an abuser would go about with it?...[I dunno if you got my point there

I never imagined that Don Pedro Dinero would decide to create an image aimed at criticism or with the aim of offending someone in his posts. There are many other interesting things on the forum, as some points could be depicted.
But yes, you and I probably have different understandings about images created by AI. Let's stop arguing... Smiley
370  Other / Meta / Re: Another feature should be added on Bitcointalk SuperNotifier bot. on: April 06, 2024, 08:05:11 AM
OP, sometimes on a forum, you don't have to be lazy to look at your post history every day and see where your posts might be moved. Your point of view betrays your presence on the forum only for the sake of the company's signature, and if you do not participate in any of the companies, publishing posts against all odds will not be necessary for you.
Quite a selfish attitude towards the forum. The company signature is a privilege for you in the forum. Is it really difficult to write a little more posts so as not to find yourself in an unexpected position since you only want to fulfill the subscription quota? Angry

372  Economy / Reputation / Re: Solana SSHIB project ignores payment to Bounty Campaign participants (scam) on: April 05, 2024, 05:25:42 PM
Bounty hunters should do more research with things like this.

What are you talking about Smiley? Today's bounty hunters are two or three farms that have dozens of new accounts, which they regularly use for registration wherever there is a smell of new coins. As long as bounties exist, such hunters will promote them, regularly complaining about non-payments but, having a very short memory, registering again without any research.
Some people's behavior does not change for years. Having once heard that someone once made a lot of money in a bounty, these people will try and hope year after year, I agree that this is, to some extent, gambling. Although what they call work is simply ridiculous by definition.
373  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gambling problems on different races on: April 05, 2024, 04:55:52 PM
What is required to play in a casino? First of all, having money. If a person does not have money, addiction will not arise. I don’t think that the problem is in race; the problem is in the society in which a person is located, in his interests, and those who are next to him are direct assistants to the person’s involvement in the game. Often, addiction arises in a company; someone may stop in time, or someone will even play for debt. And you don’t have to be someone else with a different skin color; gamble arises on a psychological level; all races are subject to it. Someone runs away from stress; someone gets pleasure from winning and thereby realizes themselves in this way.

But if you look deeper, we are all passionate in our own way and want to achieve certain results. Is it possible to name successful people belonging to any one race? Of course not.
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Now Official Currency in Lugano: Another Milestone for Cryptocurrency on: April 05, 2024, 08:35:01 AM
Good news.

One of those countries where individual freedom is respected, as well as the understanding that people should and can independently decide what and how to do with their money. The same cannot be said about other countries that passionately ban Bitcoin, allegedly caring that the people are not sufficiently informed about its use and creating the illusion of protecting the people’s assets, but in reality controlling their every move. But as we see, Lugano understands that in her country there are smart people who are able to decide everything with their own heads.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My trustwallet of $211,000 has been stolen, any help or advice is appreciated on: April 05, 2024, 08:04:42 AM
It might be a good idea to initially find out if the OP made a storage error instead of blaming a wallet that isn't the best but that many have been using for a long time. There are so many things that an owner might miss when they think their money is safe. I am sure that the theft was the fault of the wallet user. Also, storing such an amount, which is many times higher than the price of a hardware wallet, is simply stupid. And as an expression often repeated on the forum: “The most expensive thing on earth is stupidity. Because you have to pay the most for it!”
We must always remember that when owning a cryptocurrency, we must handle it competently so as not to fall into such situations and then seek help from outsiders. As a substitute, in the absence of a desire to be responsible, there are banks.
376  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What makes a post to be quality? on: April 04, 2024, 06:10:01 PM
We must also remember that in our realities of fighting AI, a competent post with excellent grammar and punctuation if it is not yet equipped with live notes of presence on the forum, is very easy to be confused with AI.
Therefore, even if the posts are not entirely literate, we can all understand each other, but it is better to always answer the topic of the question briefly without loading the texts with water. “Brevity is the sister of talent.” Tell the essence so as not to interrupt the reader’s attention from the topic.
377  Other / Meta / Re: AI generated content by newbies on: April 04, 2024, 05:39:24 PM
Unfortunately, not all content written by AI is removed from the forum. I recently sent a lot of reports on AI, but the moderators deleted only a few. It is not clear for what reason, although the evidence was one hundred percent.
In addition, some users continue to respond to the topic, even when you clearly state that the topic is plagiarism. After it is deleted, users understand that they need to read the warnings.
Therefore, until there are explicit rules against AI and until posts are deleted for everyone, not just beginners, you need to fight AI only in the Nutildah topic.
378  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Becareful with telegram wallet! on: April 04, 2024, 08:58:13 AM
In my opinion, you need to use the software for its intended purpose without cluttering it with unnecessary functions. I mean that the Telegram program itself is intended for communication; initially, it was the most common communication between people. After groups appeared, now it is possible to add wallets. Telegram looks like a New Year tree, which is hung with different buns. At the same time, we regularly see various scams from Telegram groups and, of course, sudden blocking for actions that are incomprehensible to the owners themselves. By the way, Telegram can be hacked very easily; if you follow the links sent to you, one day you can become a victim of hacking, which once again proves that storing money separately is very smart and safe. There is no need to mix everything. Multifunctionality is only useful in the kitchen.

Money is supposed to be a medium of exchange, unit of an account, and a store of value. However, our money today is far from a store of value. Nowadays, people must earn their money twice: first, work to earn a paycheck, and secondly, figuring out a way to invest a portion in assets or financial products because their money lose value due to inflation and currency debasement.

While Bitcoin is chiefly a system for transferring digital value, it is inherently and always will be so much more than just that.
The blockchain truly is a marvelous piece of technology. A mechanism to timestamp the order of digital information without needing to depend on a centralized operator. A decentralized mechanism with no one in charge, that provides undeniably cryptographic guarantees around what data was added to the temporal record in what order. This property is the entire reason Bitcoin is useful as a form of digital money, without it there would be no way for the system to function at all without a centralized authority.

Bitcoin is not just money, and no matter how many times people chant it is only money and nothing else, it will never be true cos all of these guarantees are provided by three simple technical building blocks: private/public key cryptography, merkle trees, and hash algorithms.
Bitcoin is a digital monster, and it will eat everything. The only thing challenging the existence of Bitcoin is "time" cos as time goes, Bitcoin goes.

These type of advices have been heard countless time but one thing is that not everyone will adhere to the advice. Also it is important to note that it is not only when you brag about your holdings that people will know that you own some bitcoins. Merely making bitcoin related posts on social media, sticking cryptocurrency related banners in your vehicle or wearing crypto polos can also expose you.

Does this mean that a person who accidentally bought a T-shirt with a Bitcoin logo at the market or a figurine that he placed in his closet in the shape of a coin is putting himself at risk? In this case, do we harm ourselves? It seems that someone is interested in and participates in the popularization of Bitcoin, but on the other hand, he takes on the risk of being caught in the dark corner of people who decided that he has Bitcoin.

Vicious circle? Cheesy
