To sue an exchange is the new china bans bitcoin?  Roll Eyes

Losing binance shouldn't effect King Daddy at all and might help by curtailing the shitcoin Eth tard manipulators but Kraken is a good onboarding platform that would suck to lose.

Kraken closed my account with no notice and no reason given. When I contacted them they told me they couldn’t give me any more information. Pretty shady considering I’ve hardly used the exchange at all in years. As far as I’m concerned, good riddance. I’m also glad I got my mtgox claim transferred to a different exchange.

That's not shady at all and gave you tons of information.

Riddle me this...Do you think they did it because they don't like you so singled you out and decided not to take your fees?

For those not yet aware of the recent OpenAI / Sam Altman saga, here's a nice summary:

The OpenAI Saga - Everything Changed AGAIN!

I wonder what's going to happen to OpenAI / ChatGPT after all this mess...

I wasted 7 minutes listening to this dufos and all I heard was drama.

What is the root issue with safety that I read was the reason for the firing.

It seems to me that should be the focus of the discussion not the fucking drama.

It looks like its being suppressed.

Well, that was the best I could find, given how fast the situation has escalated... It's not that bad, you should have watched 'til the end IMHO.

It appears that two opposing camps were formed inside OpenAI: the research/tech camp, led by Ilya Sutskever, which focused on the tech development and safety issues, and the business/corporate camp, led by the then CEO Sam Altman, which wanted to commercialize/monetize their AI products very fast, apparently without adequately dealing with the safety issues. I get the feeling that there were some ego-driven moves from the research/tech camp, specifically from Sutskever, that led to the firing of Sam Altman.

It all escalated in a big mess, with Sutskever eventually regretting having caused the firing of Altman and practically begging him to come back, now threatening to quit from OpenAI himself if Altman doesn't come back...

The big winner in all of this appears to be Microsoft, which have now taken Altman, together with all the lead AI researchers and most employees of OpenAI, and possibly even Ilya Sutskever himself, on their team, and will give them practically infinite resources to continue their work on AI development.

I'm not a big fan of Microsoft, and don't like the idea of them dominating (and heavily commercializing/monetizing) the AI sector. I hope Altman and the rest of the team return to OpenAI, sort out their differences, wipe out the toxic board members and move forward.

As for the specifics on AI safety, no details are given, just the "AI becomes self-aware, wipes out all humans" possibility is mentioned. It's more or less drama at this stage.

Edit: Fixed typos.

Haha, thx for the synopsis, I seriously don't want to waste time out of my life listening to drama.

Straight to the point like you put it here is how I like to see things.

Only four weeks remain on the regular season of our league, time sure flies, currently there are only three teams that are out mathematically from the playoffs, but realistically the three 5-6 teams should be out as well since at best they could get a 9-6 record, and since their PF are all lower than the PF of the teams at the top then they will require for one of the 8-3 teams to lose all their games or to lose at least three and then win the tiebreaker, not very likely if I must say so.

This leaves the two 6-5 teams as the only ones that are legitimately on the hunt, however after taking a look at the remaining games of each team I would think the Bit Bowlers and the Barbarians seem to have the hardest schedule ahead, with a key match taking place this week between the Barbarians and the Moon Coiners, with whoever wins it almost securing their spot to the playoffs, while the losing team will most likely have to battle to the end for the fourth spot with the Bit Bowlers and twEntiwan.

Nice Synopsis man!

I put a few satoshis down on the game last night.  For whatever reason I was feeling the Eagles, even though I think the Chiefs are the better team.  Getting the Eagles at +3 obviously meant I won my bet, only wish I had bet just a little bit more (per usual lol).

Going to be a fun week of games this week being the Thanksgiving Holiday and all.  3 games on Thursday and even 1 on Friday.  I think this may be the first "Black Friday" game the NFL has ever had...but maybe I'm wrong.

That was a nice win ypu must have cringed when ypu saw how open Marquez got open and then brick handed it lol.  I'm of the opinion with 3 timeouts left amd a little less than 2 minutes to go, eagles could have easily made their way down into field goal position if not driving right down for a td.  Eagles are legit right now.

KC WR corp is their weak point and it was seriously apparent when Kelce was hurt.

They need to address that if they want another Superbowl.

Fuck Binance, nothing more than shitcoin manipulators creating paper assets and naked shorting.

Good riddance and I hope they drop CZ in a hole for a few years.

Sam Howell is probably going to be a decent QB in the league and the way Lawrence has been playing the last few weeks I wouldn't have started him either. Would have been a tough choice between Howell and Tua. Raiders are hit n miss week to week and with Was at the Gmen I prob would have started Howell as well. Oh well, any given Sunday right?

Haha yeah I just find it Ironic that the first Time I started him in place of anyone he decides to go on a interception tear! Cheesy

Well the giants went ahead amd screwd themselves up lol. No clue how Washington let the giants beat them up like that lol.  For some reason the giants no matter how bad they are seem to play Washington well.  Can't beat the eagles or cowboys but love to beat up on Washington.

Actually took theor defense in 2 of my leagues this week lol.

I played Howell in place of tua and Lawrence.

DOH

Baltimore losing their TE really hurt but I think they still win the division after Joe cool went down for the year.

Likely is actually a great TE and will do just fine in Mandrews place.

I wonder who in this league has Burrow? Must really have sucked to have drafted him so high, and had such high asperations of him, especially being that he just signed the largest contract in NFL history..so who drafted him? Ah yes, me.  In multiple leagues.  So just like Chubb, I've once again lost a massive player.  Every single year for about the past 5-6 seasons I've lost so many good players it's not even funny.  I can't state enough how I don't care losing cuz I lost or chose the wrong players, but losing due to injury just ruins the fun for me.
We should never fall into depression because our favorite teams does lack the necessary qualities to win games because every team do bounce back to competitive games and winning becomes a regular routine for them. Injuries is also part of the team's struggles, and it's directed towards the main players who have served an important purpose to lifts the team's level to all new levels. Signing wrong players also part of the factors that affects the players. A team have winning moments and losing days, that's the metamorphosis of the game. The earlier we understand this proceed the better.

Hows that chatGPT working out for you, getting that cake?

Starship launch happening very soon for those who are interested.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhJRzQsLZGg

That was one hell of an achievement. If life is a game, getting beyond the great filter is no doubt the hardest thing you could accomplish. Elon Musk is truly a master of this game.

I think this launch will look similar to the Bitcoin price in 2025. Smiley

I thought all the Simping in here for Musk was over but guess you didn't get the memo.

Meanwhile this happened (Altman is out of the CEO seat at OpenAI, creator of ChatGPT):

https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2023/11/openai-president-greg-brockman-quits-as-nervous-employees-hold-all-hands-meeting/

Not sure if the original story was posted here or not, but I hope that this followup wasn't yet.
I still don't know if it is all "good" or 'bad', though, on the balance.

Altman was the "face" of AI, but now he is gone from the CEO position together with his company President, Brockman.
Nobody really knows why...there is some strange language there about not being forthcoming with the board.
We shall see.

TL;DR "Sam, I am" Altman is shown the door at OpenAI; employees, VCs and business partners are shocked. Bitcoin is not affected, apart from the fact that Altman thought that bitcoin is a natural progression of money.

Quote
According to reporting from Kara Swisher and The Information, it's looking like the ouster of Altman stemmed from an internal disagreement over the direction of the company with regard to a focus on profits over safety, with Chief Scientist Illya Sutskever apparently behind the board maneuvering.

Bitcoin back to 37K again and it seems to bull run is here anddddddd the fee to do a single transaction is 6$ right now what a jokeeeeee  Cry Cry Cry btw guys is ETF news is over ?

I don't think the mempool activity is natural, someone out there is driving transaction costs up for some reason.

Those little transactions are 90% the same, therfore about 80% of the transactions in the block is made up of these things. Not natural.

Fees are up around $15 now, I wonder how much this dimwit is willing to donate to the miners before he stops.

I'm sure Phil is enjoying the increased fees

Here's one for Phil.

You have seriously had the worst luck.

Tell me about it. Sooo frustrating!! Well, as us Cubs fans always say, there’s always next year lol.

Edit: you’re going to kick my ass by the way this weekend. I mean you’re projected to win by almost 30pts. Embarrassed

I like my lineup right now but with this game you never know what the fuck is gonna happen week to week.

Some weeks its just pure Chaos and Opposite day.

For the first time since Week 5 I'm actually pretty happy about my lineup. But I won't go into depth about it lest I jinx myself. Achane is coming back after 5 weeks out. I'ma keep resting him though, just one more week...

As ChiBitCTy said, those injuries are disappointing AF... what can you do except adjust as quickly as possible. Speaking of adjustments, I think its kind of interesting that there seems to be a slight correlation between a team's number of moves and their league standing. Look at the Potatoes and the Barbarians, league leaders & 32 moves apiece... perhaps there's something to be said for that as a strategy.

I think Me and Mo are Obsessive compulsive FF players, constantly tweaking for a slight edge non stop. Smiley

I think it's given them an edge the last few weeks with bye weeks, not to mention injuries.  Those mangers you mentioned also seem pretty good at finding the unexpected gem from week to week.

Speaking of injuries; my brother has two tickets to Sunday's game against the Bucs, but then the fucker got covid.  He's questionable until game day.  I'm still going, who wants to come with if he's ruled out?  Cheesy

Man I hate that Questionable Tag! Wink

... I also think Allen may have gotten too used to get the big play and move the ball too fast instead of methodically beating his opponents, and recently even Tom Brady made the observation that he is taking too many risks and said Allen should tone it down a little bit.

IOW, bad case of Jock Brain.

ION Zay Jones got a Domestic last night, wondering if I need to just kick this guy to the curb.

At least Arthur finally gave him a sizable workload, I think he had like 22 carries.  Of course that has to do with the fact that they were up or close to being up the whole game.

Quote
People will do everything but admit it was a mistake to waste an early round pick on a rookie RB that went to a team that uses a committee.

I thought this was hilarious!

Seriously doing deep dives on peoples family because your guy didn't get enough carries is completely over the top!
