I don't know. As soon as the class action is successful, Cryptsy would just file bankruptcy, making the judgement uncollectible. I'd really like to see charges leveled instead, and have Big Vern and all his buddies facing time in the big house. Perhaps be fined all of their personal assets and have it be distributed to their victims. Of course, the whole debacle has only cost me about 200K sats, so maybe the bigger fish would not be satisfied with this outcome. isn't florida one of those states where the primary residence is untouchable? big vern has a $1mil house and there is probably zero other assets to be found |

Managers arent paid enough to assume responsibility of paying a campaign if the escrows takes off. Thats ridiculous to even consider. No matter whom chooses the escrow the escrow recieves the money. I never see it so i dont see where your logic makes any sense.

Of course I am taking this into consideration. An extension wont help him if he doesn't eventually return the funds. On the other hand on the slim chance this is the truth, he should have a chance to restore the harmed parties first shouldn't he? Who is served by his doxing and no one getting paid back?
as long as there is serious intent, like 20% returned immediately and the rest via 4-5 weekly payments not sure what the total is but assuming $10k or so this shouldn't be a problem if he can afford a 3 week vacation who knows where can put it on a credit card LOL Cell reception != wifi
Before you say "we'll he could tether his computer through his phone" many people don't have that because it's an additional $30/mo for minimal benefit
whatever the excuse it's not ok for an escrow to go on an extended trip with no way to access accounts and wallets besides there are many other tools like trezor etc it also appears (if we believe the "hack" story) that master-p may have been delinquent with backups and/or not have a good disaster recover plan... makes you think how other escrows on this forum would deal with a situation like this, or a "hit by a bus" scenario etc. |

The person who wants to scam would definitely do so. However, if his ID is verified along with his address proof, he can easily be arrested if he scams any user. Master-P scammed $12000 which is a huge amount and if his ID is known, he can get arrested for cheating. It's a criminal offense after all and no scammer should escape. you missed the "wig and fake ID" part. There is no reason for a determined scammer to post their REAL identity. so it would have to be publicly verifiable, perhaps even a registered business, in order to have any recourse which brings a lot of other issues such as the legality of the deals going on here |

i also LOST .05BTC actually, from one of the campaign he holding fund. Now this is serious question to whom we really trust to escrowing our funds?
Multisig transactions could be of help but if people need escrows to hold funds for campaigns, it would be better if they could ask the escrow for their ID proof and then verify the same. If the user cannot provide an ID proof if he is working as an escrow, he should not be trusted with so much cash. This is not a good idea as ID and even selfie with the ID can be fake. If the person takes a selfie (while he is logged in and his BCT details being reflected in the picture) which also shows him holding his ID proof, I doubt it could be faked so easily. Possibilities are there but it's only needed for the already reputed escrows of the forum. Are any of these transactions actually from any of the escrow addresses? If not then the OP is most likely just a troll. If so then more likely then not master-p's dox will be released (based what is pretty clearly happening). Either way, I think I should invest in a popcorn company. they could all be master-p troll puppets for all we know... to confuse and misdirect the only real thing that could stop the dox I think is a significant amount of funds sent back to owners otherwise tecshare should just go ahead with the dox because this trolling can last forever |

If his computer was in fact compromised, this wont tell us anything. have you noticed how conveniently "real master p" changed their travel plans to match your doxing ultimatum? i think he/she is hoping for you to extend the deadline perhaps will even send some funds out before the 1st... I am not currently at home, and I won't be for another week or so.

Every scamming was did during that period and the guy selling the knife was part of the fraud,they were not happy stealing they had to try and ruin my account as well

Yeah you could. You could also send pizzas, and swat him.  It would probably be a better idea to send a detective to his house rather then a swat team. As this would more likely result in charges actually being brought against him, and justice being served. That would only cost more, and things like these would take time. Sometimes its better to cause continuous disturbance, as then he'll have 2 choices which are : a) move out b) refund to prevent further disturbance to him and his family. harassing someone like that is likely to backfire so don't is he's in the US or some other semi-civilized country file a police report and/or IC3 complaint... it's not that hard and can have more serious effect than a pizza this sometimes works on ebay deadbeats so might work here too but obviously there needs to be some sort of evidence... forum PMs and blockchain TXs can be hard to explain |
