Where is the foundation during the only moment we need it?

Where it should be - silent.

To some of those guys, every single thing is a friggin' conspiracy.

Sad but true.. Oh human mind, why you so stupid sometime.

Not sure - but is there any highly educated conspiracy nuts out there ? It seems to me that often these people don't have much but basic scooling, then they make up things as they go along, and only use the stuff they see is advantageous for their cause. Scientific methods, critical thinking, logical thinking, these kinds of qualities seems to go out the window a lot of the time.

Well I think you're right and it be pretty hard for them to use skills they never learned..

Today Bitstamp is taking 15 seconds to load on my account page and there's barely any visits to that site compared to MTGOX.

Are you sure that isn't something on your end? It loads perfectly fine for me.

This chart is interesting when you turn on log scale. With the 2011 bubble we had 5 doublings in a short span of time, right now we only ha 1 so far:

377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Upgrade bitcoin.org on: March 05, 2013, 06:12:00 PM
Here's my new "how it works" to give time for everybody's useless comments before I check in the source.

http://we.lovebitco.in/how_it_works.html

I created the content with a few goals:
  • Efficient use of language,
  • 100% accurate, no misleading analogies,
  • Starting simple, read as long as you want before you feel you can trust Bitcoin,
  • Technical info in sidebars, in the style of "For Dummies" books.

I also noted a bug in the site template - the buttons have images with alt-text that duplicates what the buttons say, creating a mess when images don't load or are disabled. The alt should be simply "icon" or something that reflects the picture.

Good effort but it's just not ".. a very short and concise summary of the system.". For regular users I think this needs to be way shorter and way simpler.

notice the red bars, corrections and flat parts

Were you trying to say that we had none of that this time?

380  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-03-03 - Monetary Metals - Is Bitcoin Money? on: March 04, 2013, 12:00:45 PM
Oh dear... "..when I exchange something that I had to risk my time and capital to produce I want something tangible in exchange that's why gold is money because it was the most marketable tangible good.."

Riiight. Most marketable sure.. Tangible? Yeah, back when they didn't know we'd have something called the digital world, sure. I wonder when these people will wake up to the reality they're living in? Is a digital picture not tangible? If it's not, is it a figment of my imagination? If not, then what is it?!
