The poll options would be "yes" and "no" and there would be no question. I would then, later in the thread, use the results to argue a point that has yet to be determined.
I bet 5 btc!

BFL_Office - 10-05-2012, 02:11 PM Reply Because they're in transit. The announcement was made after our purchase. Once the machines are fully installed, we'll be happy to flood you with photos and assembly videos let's see Let's see indeed. If they were purchased on Wednesday the 3rd, they ought to be arriving around Monday the 8th if they ship from within the US. I can't imagine BFL waiting for slow international shipping. They are on a schedule after all. I'll wager 5 BTC that no such photos show up any time next week (thru the 13th) that are not obvious fakes or highly questionable. Certainly none that provide a solid assurance that BFL is in fact in possession of and operating or setting up these machines for operation. (Post in the thread if you wanna take the other side of this wager.) Is "thru the 13th" not including the 13th itself? Sorry if it is not, english is not my mother tongue.

To be clear, I am betting 5 BTC that BFL posts pictures of their new equipment before 10/13/2012. Today is 10/13/2012. BFL has not posted any new equipment photos. Was explained that the first picture is not fake, but what about photo 2 and 3? Bogart, just won 5BTC. @CoinHoarder - I hope you are an honorable man https://forums.butterflylabs.com/entry.php/14-Taking-delivery-of-the-oven

Wasn't the Avolon priced at $1299 just for the first 300pcs batch, and $1999 for orders after that first batch?

I am surprised so many people think BFL is legitimately a scam..
It is safer to assume that BFL is scam. If you're wrong, you buy ASIC from BFL "few" days later than the others (when the product will be ready) . BFL boast that they are able to make a few thousand boards per day so if you order now or two months later you will get rig a similar period of time. If you're right (BFL is scam), you will save a lot of money and nerves. As you can see, thinking that BFL is a scam, you gain more than you lose. I remember how many people trusted pirate and how many were using gblse.... BFL stated 300 boards per 8 hour shift, or 900 per 24 hours when working in 3 shifts, not "a few thousand a day". ps Anyone that fell for Pirate is at least feeble minded, don't know shit about gbsle, but had they people's money or coins? At least, bfl delivered hardware before, and still does.

But what's the problem ice_chill, just buy Little Singles instead of Single SC's, or change your order? As you said, lots of advantages? Also, you're comparing 30 to 60Gh/s, but the different costs for BFL may be in the difference in internal components, like 4 asics @ 7.5 Gh/s for the little and 10 asics @ 6 Gh/s for the Single?

This is the way I look at it.. BLF said.. "if needed, weekends and 24 hour shifts can keep the production line moving to satisfy quick delivery of customer orders. To this end we've purchased an entire SMT assembly suite and hired a capable team to run it. These units are currently being installed in our new facility."
"BFL_Office - 10-05-2012, 09:47 AM The setup has a conservative capacity of 300 units per 8 hour shift or 900 units in a 24 hour day." https://forums.butterflylabs.com/content.php/120-BFL-Invests-in-Assembly-Equipment..ok if that is true, why is anyone bothering to risk money on a pre-order? Because: "As many of you know, we've purchased SMT machines to allow us to manufacture our own boards - and I have mentioned this before, but many have not heard it - we will not be using the SMT equipment to process our first batch of boards; we will be using the same house that did the pick and place for our previous generation products, which means we're still at the mercy of someone else for our first batch shipments. There has been some delays at that stage, but we have the padding, so it's not been a critical issue. There has also been some delays at the foundry, but again, we have padding, so it's not been a critical issue. We are also paying for an expedited run at the foundry (which does not come cheap) to keep our timeline up." from https://forums.butterflylabs.com/showthread.php/104-Shipping-in-2-3-weeks?p=1461&viewfull=1#post1461

The one that delivers sooner is the better one. We are close to block-reward halving, that's why imo. Got an order for a BFL single 60, but if BTCFPGA can deliver new orders sooner than BFL delivers the pre-30th September ones, I'll cancel and go BTCFPGA.

So what is the wattage then, and where comes the btc/$ rate from? In other words, if you don't know the other parameters, the most simple calculator is more accurate, see my point?

If true, where's the import tax, did he get a big rebate? Slovenia is part of the EU, so it would save $300 tax/custom fees at least getting one Single SC ($1387 incl. ship USA to EU) from there. So probably not real?

My only worry is WHEN, not IF. Let it be weeks before the reward halving please.

WTF links that scam to the company BFL? Running out of bogus claims, aren't you? What? Are you retarded? I've never sad that those links are connected in any way with BFL! It is just meant to show you that miners are like little children believing in Santa - ponzi Santa that is. btw it is the 8th of October - Anyone received their BFL ASIC Probably a retard yourself, as everybody knows by now that product release is scheduled for early november. Is someone paying you to post all this shit, or don't you have a life, what's the matter with you that you have to come up with just shit? Invested heavy in soon obsolete gpu's or fpga's? On the end of bfl's order list? Tell me, what is your goal, posting all this anti-bfl crap?
