These are interesting pairings! Bayern and Liverpool are obviously the favorites here. It would be a surprise if they get eliminated ManCity should be able to kick out Atletico. Chelsea vs Madrid is the most balanced match. Anything is possible here. Hopefully 3 teams from England can face 3 teams from Spain. it would be very interesting if one of the draws brought together Manchester City vs Real Madrid.  We have 3 teams from England & Spain and 1 teams from Portugal & Germany. I just hope that we won't see any games of teams of the same country (England vs England or Spain vs Spain) Of the 8 teams that will compete in the last 8 of the Champions League, I see Villarreal and Benfica as the teams that other teams want to face. I don't mean to underestimate these two teams, but they are the weakest compared to the other contestants. And even that is not a guarantee when the other 6 teams meet them, they will win. It could be like what happened to Juventus in the round of 16.

You are telling me if someone had 10,000 dollars and converted it to 10,000 usdc and did this, they would have gotten 2,500 usdc for the year? Yes exactly. I participated in Vires from early on and I think my APY is much higher than 25% considering also the early bird & supply rewards (which are paid in Vires tokens). Well there is a theoretical limit in that, if you put in significant amounts (in relation to the current supply which now sits at 280M for USDC) you drive down the APY, as the APY is a function of how much is supplied and borrowed. So if you supply $10M (and nothing new is borrowed) then the APY might decrease from 17% to 14% or so (just an example). In the end the borrowers pay your "interest", if there are none you'll also get no interest. I can't tell you who they are, but they must exist, otherwise Vires wouldn't earn any money (which apparantly currently they do, $43k a day for the whole platform if you look at the governance) Well USDN... wasn't the staking percentage over 10% a while back. So now if it is under 6%, how would that make sense staking it if someone could stake a stablecoin like usdc/usdt or say gusd in nexo/blockfi for more than that?
As I wrote the USDN Staking rates depend on the Neutrino SC. If the rate is too low for you then just put your money somewhere else  When you say lock Wx tokens, you mean you have to buy them right? Thus buy it to stake? The issue here is if Wx drops a lot... then you would lose money right? I saw they seem to advertise like 25% interest on Wx... is that correct? So someone with 5000 Wx worth would earn 1,250 Wx a year? But the risk here is if the price drops more than 25% after a year, you lose money? Example you buy Wx for 1.25 and buy 5000 of it. You invest it in that pool and keep it there a year. So as long as the Wx price doesn't drop more than 25% from the price you bought a year ago, you profit correct? Assuming you plan to sell it after a year? But if Wx stays the same, you literally earn 25% because you then just sell all the Wx? If Wx goes higher, you earn 25% plus whatever the Wx prices go up to?
I think you basically got it right. What you describe here is a standard problem for any coin/token that promises high staking reward. Most of the time the staking reward comes from the inflation of the token supply and (unless the demand for the token increases) this will drive down the price of the token. 100% Staking reward only gives you a profit if your token doesn't drop more than 50% in price. The WX IDO was last November for 1 WX = 1 USDN and the IDO tokens are relased until November this year. The WX price will not go much higher or lower than 1 USDN until then in my opinion. However, WX still has a high inflation (you can check the token release schedule in the waves.exchange). Don't expect the price to bottom out in the coming months either. So in terms of all these investments, which is the safest? Isn't it staking waves you have since you will get a consistent return on it which is more waves? Of course this is same situation like when you buy waves and earn waves but if waves drops more than x percent that you buy it, then you lose?
I guess this depends on your goals. Do you want the highest possible profit? Or the safest investment? Do you want to increase $? or Waves or BTC? For most people it is advisable to have a mix of different products in case sth goes wrong with one of your investments. I wouldn't even invest all of my money on Waves only. There are news almost weekly that somewhere some platform got hacked or the owners run off with the funds. It is a complex problem and I can't give you a 100% good answer either. My question here would be: How can nexo/blockfi pay their interest? Where does the money come from to pay the interests on those platforms? I actually have no idea and would like to know. Maybe they call it simply "Staking" but do some high risk trades in the background you don't know anything about? As I wrote in my last post, the interests for the Waves products are generated in different ways: Fees from borrowers (Vires), liquidity provider/trading fees and WX token rewards (WX Pools), liquidity provider fees on Ethereum (LP tokens), Neutrino SC mechanism (USDN Staking), ... Some Waves products might have higher APY right now, but a whale with a significant deposit could easily drive down the APYs for most of the products. Maybe it's also a question of accessibility of the platform/blockchain and nexo/blockfi operate on ETH or BSC and haven't looked much into Waves? As I said, I think eventually the APYs for similar products will be similar across different platforms once they are inter-operateable. Each of the different products is associated with different risks and transparency (in that you know whats actually in the "black box" and where your interests come from). In the end you have to decide for yourself how much money you want to put in certain platforms based on that. |

Barcelona are currently in their best form. They are more likely and favorite to win the Europa league title. The only two competitor I see that would challenge Barcelona to the finals are RB Leipzig and westham United. Westham are the only English side to be among the Europa qualifier till this moment, after the beat Sevilla in the extra time of the game. Let's wait and see the Europa league draw fixtures before we conclude, but I'm hoping for Lyon or Atalanta to host Barcelona. I don't know why you think that Leipzig will make it difficult for Barcelona if they meet in the quarter-finals, but I agree about West Ham. So far Leipzig have qualified automatically for the quarter-finals after their match was canceled by FIFA, so you really can't be sure that Leipzig really deserved to qualify if FIFA didn't cancel their match against Spartak Moscow. Apart from West Ham, I think Atalanta are also a strong team so far both in the Europa League and in their domestic league. Atalanta may have a chance of qualifying for the semifinals of the Europa League this season despite having to meet Barcelona, but it will certainly be difficult. I hope barcelona can reach the final and win the title this season because of their high hopes so far. Leipzig may not have played against Moscow and automatically qualified, but they are a much stronger team than Moscow and most likely would have qualified. The current favorites of the bookmakers are: Barcelona 3.5 Leipzig 5.5 Atalanta 9.0 Lyon 13.0 West Ham 15.0 Barcelona and Leipzig seem to be the strongest teams by a margin here and it is probable that at least one of them will make it to the final. Those tokens are exist to be scam tokens. I have seen that so many times the new tokens created by scammers are used as a way to rug pull the investors. We know that so well these days investors are so crazy. Look at what ape coin does to its buyers. The creator of this garbage NFT art was airdropping meme tokens to the meme NFT holders. So many people are getting scammed caused by they bought it at a peak price.

Well, for some of them this is true definitely. Any serious Altcoin comes with a white paper with some unique underlying vision. If you can't find a white paper, then chances are good that it's a copy-paste coin with zero purpose. Also a roadmap and a list of the team and partners are trust-building for a new coin. Anything missing can already be considered as a red flag nowadays with so many new coins appearing every day. It should be mentioned that Dogecoin was created as a joke initially. People liked it, it became popular and it's still sticking around after many years. Many of the newcomer Altcoins from last year might disappear much quicker again. |

Can someone here explain ViresFinance on waves? So when you stake waves, you get a small percentage of waves for staking. However, if you stake USDT or USDC on ViresFinance, are you really getting that much interest that is advertise?
Example say you have 10,000 usd and convert it to btc or waves and want to stake to earn stablecoin. If you stake/lend 10,000 usdt/usdc for an entire year... how much usdt/usdc will you get at the end of the year? Because they seem to advertise higher rates than even nexo/celsius/blockfi? I am confused with this because they use many different terms like Base vAPY and Reward tAPY.
Also usdn staking... that percentage seems to change literally almost every few days? So if you want to stake stablecoin on waves network, you shouldn't do that? There is also lambo investments and other things. Anyone have experience with these?
I am a bit confused by your post as you seem to mix the different investment products that are available 1) Vires The Supply APY% that you see there is what you currently get. Keep in mind they can change with every block (=every minute), so nobody knows how the rates will be in 1 hour/day/month and nobody can tell you how much you will have earned at the end of the year. This entirely depends on the ratio between supplied and borrowed funds. You can check the "Stats" for each coin/token to see how the APYs developed in the past though. Yes, the rates are still a bit higher than on other platforms, but they already came down quite a bit. Last year USDC was pretty much consistently over 25%. I expect that eventually rates will be very similar across different platforms when there is enough gateways between them and transaction fees are low enough so that they can interact easily. 2) USDN Staking Here the APY% changes every day according to the rules set by the Neutrino smart contract (the APY mainly depends on the Waves price and on how many Waves are in the smart contract). Similar to Vires, nobody can tell you how this will develop in the future. You can check the past development for instance here: https://dev.pywaves.org/neutrino/. This shows that in the last 60 days you got an (average) APY of 5.74% for USDN staking. 3) LAMBO investments This is more like a portfolio managed by a funds manager, where the funds manager is an AI (apparently). To me it is not clear in what products this invests, it would be nice to know actually. Important to know is that you can lose money here. The risk is somewhat controlled so that the drawdown is capped at a maximum of 10%(*). Because of it's relative intransparency I do prefer Vires and Staking over this, but LAMBO token have made quite some good profit in the past. 4) What else is there? - You can invest into the Pools on the Waves.Exchange. To get the maximum APYs you will have to lock WX tokens however. Here is where you see vAPY (which comes from pool trading) and tAPY (which are WX rewards you get for providing funds to a pool) - there are also the "LP" (liquidity provider) tokens like USDLP and USDCLP which invest into pools on the Ethereum chain. Also a bit intransparent like the LAMBO tokens, but you can't lose money here(*) as the token proce only goes up. There is a 2 week waiting period however if you want to withdraw your money. (*) Losing all your money is still possible for all products as there are risks by holding crypto/stablecoins or by trusting smart contracts which could be hacked. Dortmund thankfully got the thing they wanted from the Mainz game. They were victorious by 1-0 at the end. And these three points are really important ones now. Because they are now only four points behind Bayern Munich officially. This is really exciting to me. We might finally see a real competition between Bayern Munich and Dortmund in the remaining time. But Dortmund really need to have a very consistent form from now on to keep up with them. Although Bayern Munich have started struggling, they are still the most reliable team.
Wow, yea, they actually did it and won the game. Looking at the remaining games, Bayern and Dortmund have fairly similar opponents (at least when looking at the current ranking). The next 2 games are against teams between ranks 4 and 8, and could be quite difficult for both teams (e.g. Freiburg vs Bayern in 2 weeks or Koln vs Dortmund next week or Dortmund vs Leipzig in 2 weeks). Then they'll have 2 "easier" games and after that they play each other in Munich. The last 3 games are relatively easy again. I still doubt that Bayern will lose many points in the remaining games. So the only way to beat them is to 1) also don't lose many points and 2) win the direct duel (which will be hard as Bayerns will play at home) |

The first half is almost over and Dortmund haven't put their weight in the game yet. There is no dominant side in the match. The ball is generally in Dortmund'd but they did not find serious positions, it is still difficult to talk about this match. If it continues like this, it could end in a draw. Mainz even shot more than their opponent, but they haven't had any effective attempts yet oha . now it's half time in mainz. it's still 0:0 . no goals in the first 45 minutes. if bvb doesn't win today we can 100% congratulate bayern münchen on the 32 german championship .  but there are still at least 45 minutes to play. i hope that the bvb wins at least 1: 0 in mainz so that the bundesliga remains a little exciting. Now 67 minutes played and it's still 0-0, now Haaland is coming, will he be able to turn it? Odds are now 4.8/1.9/2.9, so already 50% chance for a draw. Eine Frage zu den Pools. Hier WAVES/USDN Pool. Funktioniert der Rechner?
Oben links steht Reward tAPY +10.20% - 30.61%. Ich habe 1000 USD eingetragen. Dann wird mir unten rechts eine APY von 20.49% angezeigt.
Wenn ich dann noch WX Token hinzufüge, habe ich eine APY von 35.88%. Das haut doch mit den Reward tAPY gar nicht hin. Kann mir das jemand erklären?
Der Rechner wird schon stimmen mit den aktuellen Zahlen (sieht zumindest Plausibel aus) WAVES/USDN hat gerade eine sehr hohe vAPY (10%) durch die Preisvolatilität, das kann auch schnell wieder Richtung 2-4% gehen wie bei den anderen Pools. tAPY von 10-30% wird in WX-Token ausbezahlt (und hängt daher auch am WX Preis). Ohne gelockte WX (gWX) bist du bei 10% und je mehr gWX du hast umso eher bist du bei den 30%. WX hat aktuell noch eine hohe Inflation (noch bis Ende der Vesting Periode der IDO im Oktober), wenn du nicht regelmäßig deine gWX erhöhst, wirst du nach und nach an den unteren Rand der 10-30% Spanne rutschen. Sofern du vorhast WX zu locken, bekommst du dafür auch nochmal rewards (aktuell mit 25% Governance Reward angegeben). Es ist aktuell nicht einfach zu sagen wieviel am Ende wirklich rausspringt, da die APYs tendenziell eher nach unten gehen, weil mehr und mehr WX/gWX in den Umlauf kommen und das Ganze auch vom WX Preis abhängt. edit: eine Sache noch: Wenn du wirklich viele gWX erzeugen willst (und WX locken willst), dann ist es vermutlich ratsamer in mehrere Pools zu investieren, da du mit den gWX die tAPY bei allen Pools gleichzeitig erhöhst. Dann kannst du die bis 58% bei BTC/USDN und 64% bei ETH/USDN mit abgreifen |

Odds for Leverkusen vs Atalanta for passing to the next round are 2.7 / 1.4. For the game itself it's 2.3/3.75/2.8. It won't be easy for Leverkusen to advance to the next round. Atalanta is holding the cards currently and they can focus on defending. It shouldn't underestimate Leverkusen's attack though. Frankfurt vs Betis passing odds are 1.22 / 3.8 and for the game 2.2/3.6/3.1. That's very optimistic for Frankfurt in my opinion. Betis needs to win of course, but the difference is only 1 goal from the first game. 3.8 is quite a high payout. |

Is the reason there is a waves price difference between waves exchange and binance due to the usdt not being exactly one dollar?
Also, does the waves exchange lag when you are going to do trades?
I was just checking now and on Binance Waves/USDT is (Bid/Ask) 25.77/25.78 and on Waves.Exchange Waves/USDN: 25.72/25.92 and USDT/USDN on W.Ex is 1.004/1.0052 The difference is not very big, but I think you are right with your theory. I mean, if it weren't the case then people could do profitable arbitrage trades until those 3 pairs are in balance again. Currently USDN is pretty "stable" and almost worth $1, but we also had situations were 1 USDN traded at 0.97 USDT or USDC and back then all coins (BTC/ETH/Waves) traded for more USDN compared to USDT on other exchanges. I haven't experienced any lag in the trades. There were a few occasion where it was generally difficult to log in due to server overload (like when the WX IDO had just started), but in 99% of the cases it's working fine. |

They have drawn twice and lost one in the process, but the coach feels they have a better chance relating from the game during the weekend against Tottenham.
Ronaldo also has a good scoring record and the Spanish club knows about that very well.
Well, this time the odds are in favor of ManU. Qualification for the next round is at ManU 1.42 / Atletico 2.65 and for the game itself 2.1/3.25/3.6. In their respective leagues the performance of both teams is similarly this year and they are at 5th (ManU) and 4th (Atletico) ranks. I think Atletico will need a big portion of luck to have a chance to survive the game in Manchester. |

Super useful page! From what I can see is that Hamburg has (on paper) the "easiest" games left. However, they are quite a bit behind and would need a win streak to catch up to the top. Bremen and Darmstadt have 3 "easy" games at the end of the season, but a quite difficult program until then. If they are in the top3 after week 31 then they will probably make it. St.Pauli, Nuremberg and Schalke have games against each other in the very last weeks of the season and will "steal" each others points then. If Nuremberg and Schalke can't close the point gap in the next weeks it will be very hard for them to do it later. |

If Bayern lose points in a few more matches, Dortmund will have a good chance of winning the title.
That is a big "if" in my opinion. Also it would require for Dortmund to have a run and not losing points. In the last 5 games, Dortmund only gained 2 points (3 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss against Bayern 2w, 2d, 1l). The quotes for the cancelled game from last week (which will happen on Wednesday) Mainz vs Dortmund are 4.0/3.7/1.9, so that's roughly a 50% chance for Dortmund to win. If they win (and close the gap to 4 points) and then can consistently make 2 points more every 5 games for the rest of the season, then it'll be a close race. But even then a big role will play the direct match Bayern vs Dortmund in April. If Dortmund loses this game then all hope is lost. So while it's not impossible, there is a number of pretty big ifs On the bright side: the ranks 3 to 6 are so close together now, we will get some excitement there |

Right now or at least half time ended in a 1-1 draw and also, Hoffenheim got the goal first. This result at least gives a little evidence that the competition in the Bundesliga is currently becoming more difficult, from Bayern Munich's last two matches in the Bundesliga, it can be said at least it is a fairly difficult point achievement. The results of different tournaments sometimes don't have a strong link so the teams will still be difficult to predict but yes, any outcome can still happen but at the moment I think Hoffenheim are not too bad either and can still put up a strong fight for Bayern Munich.
And it ended 1-1! Wow, Bayern again losing points. Eventhough they were a bit unlucky with a number of offside goals. Too bad they are so far ahead, otherwise I would have some hope that it could get exciting Now we'll have to wait for Dortmund if they can actually score 6 points in their 2 outstanding matches. I am not too optimistic, but I hope they can do it to get a bit of excitment towards the end of the season |
