3681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Floyd Mayweather vs Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) on: February 07, 2021, 08:55:40 AM
No comment to Curtis Jackson but what I can say to him is that he's been fooled by Mayweather. How much we will receive after this scripted fight?

This obviously talks about money, the winner takes all. This will boost someone to make a fight even he knows that there is no chance to win. That even legendary and known boxers losses against Mayweather how much more for a rapper?

Just like the other said, this will be more on comedy. Have 50 cents on this.

What do you expect in a fight between a true boxer and a rap who pretends to know boxing, this is going to be one-sided, I don't think 50 Cent can keep up with Mayweather and I have a strong belief that this is the fight is going to be staged, they are once a friend and I don't think they want to seriously hurt one another especially Mayweather on 50 Cent.

I just hope this just stops.

Celebrities are just asking who they wanted to fight not defending any titles or their honor in the boxing ring. If you have a beef or just wanting to earn money nowadays, the boxing ring is open to be at your service. I respect the sport, I respect boxing, I respect hugely the boxers but I just hope other people respect this the same. These days, it is just a fight that gives you money after your match.

You have a point, we all know that boxing has evolved as a sports as well, being a business when managers like Bob Arum and Don King enter the picture. But still they have made a lot of good fights in the last 30 years. But this day, it suddenly turns into a joke and circus when Floyd started the whole era of exhibition matches. The blame should be put on Floyd, for making boxing a money making machines for Youtube sensations and other celebrities.

Boxing right now is turning to be List of celebrity boxing matches.

I don't think we should blame Floyd here.

There are a lot of personalities or celebrities that get on in this and tried to start other fighters to face on the ring. One of the first and I think the root of all of this is the fight of two YouTube sensations, Logan Paul and KSI. After that match, Logan's brother Jake started to fight too, and then his annoying confidence grew bigger taunting YouTubers and even celebrities and athletes.

I agree on some point but I disagree on redirecting the blame to Mayweather. First of all, he is a professional boxer and all the guys that asking for exhibition game is not a boxer at all. If you are a professional, you should know that it’s unprofessional to fight a non-boxer person evn if it’s taunting because that’s what we called professionalism. Floyd is now a celebrity rather than a boxer because he is just fighting solely for money and not for glory.
3682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The pump and dump scheme on: February 07, 2021, 02:31:58 AM
Yes, this is pretty much straight-forward definition of a pump and dump scheme.

And obviously, this is a fraudulent practice not just in crypto, it is just magnify though because we have trading signal groups in telegram and twitter trying to sell this scheme specially to newbies. But the only one that benefits from this and making tons of money is the people behind the project. That's why everyone is really advise not to pay for this supposedly pump and dump groups.

Most of trading signal group in telegram don't target a coin with thin order book just like what OP describing. They are using indicators to attract traders to buy the token neglecting the trading volume of the token. If this fraud group target a coin with thin order book, they might suffer too a great if ever the early holders of that coin sold there stock after this fraud group pump it since it will be easy to dump it too.

Trading signal group is evolving. Maybe there are few group doing it but its very risky too in there part. Even Doge and XRP with billion volume suffer pump and dump so what more for coin with thin order book.
3683  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ADKINSBET cancelled my withdrawal request & placed fake bet which lost on: February 06, 2021, 03:42:53 PM
Did you read what I wrote?

Odds of 8,44 make no sense on this parley, it should be 1,7 according to the single odds.

If somebody is crazy enough to bet 197.55 Eur on odds of 8.44, then it is a pretty safe bet to place a bet from 1667.32 Eur on odds 2.28
The only strange bet that is going on, is the one that he placed with odds from 8.44
Usually, you do not place bets like this. I agree that something must going on, Maybe he can share the bets? It must be a handicap bet.

If the size bet on that odds is your only basis for this case being fishy, you gotta think again. There are tons crazy player that doing insane crazy bet especially if they knew well the team they bet. That is a parlay bet so the odds on each bet is not that high, it just multiply many times that's why it turns out that huge odd. On OP case, there's something wrong on the sum odds of his parlay just like what the other guy pointing out.

I believe Adkins should pay the OP base on the right odds since he risk his money on that bet. If all big wins should be incorporated by fixed match, maybe betting industry especially on crypto is quite risky at all especially when you are betting on this kind of bet size.
3684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins are more friendly with Bitcoin? on: February 06, 2021, 02:27:18 PM
LTC, Ethereum, BCH, or other altcoins; which ones will be used in combination with Bitcoin in the digital future ahead of us?

Bitcoin is a blockchain project and it has own unique blockchain compared to other blockchain project like ETH, ETH and many more. They are all competitors to each and they will never synchronized to each other since they have different protocol and the team behind has different vision that’s why many blockchain project exist in the first place.

If the one you are pointing out is the technical aspect, there’s no Blockchain project that will work with BTC.
3685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cake Coin good for Passive Income? on: February 06, 2021, 11:56:32 AM
Considering the APY that you can get when you stake on this coin is a good source for passive income. The only downside was the volatility of the value of this might give you a lose compared on what you earn on your passive income. Most of the DeFi tokens offers a good passive income and they have all downside which I stated above. Its up to you to measure the risk of worthiness on this kind of investments.

The fastest way is to PM them directly.  Wink
3687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Report ETH for SCAM because $80 fees on: February 04, 2021, 01:06:35 PM
Its asking $70 gas fee now on LOW (for token!)

Cheaper to buy plane ticket and deliver tokens personally!

Scalability issue is not a problem of ETH alone. Actually Bitcoin suffers that problem that's why many Blockchain Project exist to solve this problem. But buying plane ticket to deliver your token is a fact too.  Cheesy

Just avoid transferring ERC20 tokens if you want to avoid high fees. I'm sure it will go down soon.
3688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice games on: February 01, 2021, 05:18:06 AM
I only spend more or less 10 minutes when playing Dice with no strategy or just guessing randomly and the results vary each time so I have been wondering if the house edge algorithm starts from the day you created your account and played for the first time or only on the day you play?

Dice code is purely base on statistics and probability so the results is surely varies even though you are using same odds and number of bets per session. The strategy in the topic seems not realistic. I know many guys especially on YouTube that has there own different strategy which has proof that it really work.

I don't know if cleaning browser cache will really gonna affect the result of the game.
3689  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any clue about the amount to buy or sell to influence the price trend? on: January 31, 2021, 02:23:22 PM

That might be considered a pump and dump (illegal).
It will be illegal if you get caught, ordinary people organizing will be difficult to get litigated with that kind of scheme while the rich people can get away with it because they have the law on their leash.

The act is illegal regardless if you are caught doing it or not. I don't know if this kind of things is really illegal on an unregulated cryptomarket.

Signal group is already trending especially on telegram. Many TG group are giving free signal and offering a VIP lounge for for premium signal. In reality, this kind of group is just a signal in disguise but they are really using it to organize a pump and dump scheme using subscriber's money that following the signal.
3690  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Delta App alternatives? on: January 31, 2021, 10:45:40 AM
Blockfolio and Delta app is the leading tracker so far. So blockfolio is the best for you since it has same feature to Delta app but the problem was it’s not decentralized. Anyway this coin tracker doesn’t require user to give personal information about user identity so why you are too conscious about that?
3691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most discreet way to hide your crypto from thieves? on: January 30, 2021, 03:45:38 PM
Put the SD card inside time capsule and cement it under your room floor or garage floor. No one will ever get it even the smartest of all time unless he see you burying it on the floor.
3692  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why shouldn't you deposit fiat into binance to buy crypto? on: January 30, 2021, 02:53:56 PM
People are recommending to buy cryptos on coinbase and then transfer it to binance to trade there. Why?

Because coinbase has a reputation of freezing account for no reason. Most of the people experience this are those who deposit huge amount of fiat. Binance don't freeze any account that's many people are enjoying using it especially when buying crypto using fiat. In simple terms, Binance is a user friendly exchange.
3693  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: January 29, 2021, 03:40:35 PM
@epicchamp as a friendly advice, Just wait for FJ decision and don’t escalate more the issue. You don’t need to convince everyone here, Only FJ will be the one who will make the decision no matter what the majority of the community want. FJ is a reputable casino for how many years. I’m sure that they will compensate you no matter what happened since they are still entertaining your issue until now. But don’t expect that you will be compensate completely as you want since this an error bet and I know that you understand that FJ is a business which needs profit too.

IMHO, A 50% and above compensation is cool offer in case they decide to give you this chance.
3694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon fuels BTC rise 17% DOGE gose 8× on: January 29, 2021, 03:25:16 PM
I think Elon’s been invested in bitcoin for a very long time, he’s made several comments over the years alluding to it. I’ve thought for a long time Elon might be Satoshi but that’s another story. He’s definitely involved with crypto, specifically BTC & DOGE.

This what I’m thinking when he start trolling doge before. We know how Elon think, All his idea is revolutionary and cryptocurrency is a revolutionary idea in financial world. I believe Elon saw it before and invest some money on crypto that’s why he is silently promoting crypto by trolling since it’s the effective to catch people’s attention. I believe Elon is the bridge for crypto connect to majority of people that didn’t know crypto.

John Mcafee is far different to Elon. Elon doesn’t promote any coin so that other people invest on it. He is just simply posting stuff about the specific coin.
3695  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Bitcoin in Africa Is a Way for Some to Escape Poverty on: January 25, 2021, 10:48:51 PM
Not just in Africa, maybe there are more countries now who prefers to do trading as their job, to get income and to sustain for their living. In my country when pandemic strikes and termination of many jobs happen, there are many individuals who become more curious on where to spend their back pay, though it may not yet take a big percentage of the population but slowly many were noticing it's potential for profit.
3696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin I should investmen with 5k dollars? on: January 25, 2021, 07:40:21 PM
Hi guy,

I have 5k dollars, you think i should investment any altcoin.

Do you think about UNISWAP? i see it have a top rank in DEFI.

Thanks you.
Yes, uniswap is a good option as it is the most dominant defi and dex platform so buying maybe 1k worth of UNI would be good, with remaining 4k i suggest to buy trx for 1k eth 1k and btc 2k to really hold a dream portfolio.

Considering the current price of UNI and also its price chart. Many indicators that tells UNI was already overbought and might correct soon. I'm not implying that UNI is a bad investment but entering right is not a good move since it recently pump hard that cause to be overbought. Waiting for the correction is the best way to invest on this coin. Rushing in on this coin might give a huge loss in case the price go south.
3697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: January 25, 2021, 06:34:56 PM
Surely everyone has something like that and it's the most normal thing, but it is very different from people who are mentally strong they will not feel panic even if it is considered a normal thing and it happens very often, because they know they have calculated the benefits and losses.

Smart people usually set stop loss whenever they open position in trading which means pro traders never panic at all during this big drop occur, Usually pro ride this wave by shorting there position so that they can have profit even though the situation of the coin is bad. Panicking on big drop on price only means that you are newbie or uneducated in trading. You can have a huge profit if you can manage your emotion in time like this because this kind of event was rare and traders use this to get a huge profit.
3698  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Buying All Paxful Accounts with decent feedback + BUYING ALL! on: January 25, 2021, 06:03:08 PM

Please provide screenshot of your conversation and transaction so that the DT can use that to support the red tag to this guy.
3699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are you guys trading today? on: January 25, 2021, 05:41:21 PM
the more Bitcoin go sideways, altcoins are doing their move to pump, it's kinda 2018 feels.

BTC market right now make it look like that, and right now making long term for BTC hope my decision is correct

Surely your investment on Bitcoin is a good choice since more institutional investors will slowly surging in to invest in Bitcoin just like what Marathon Patent Group did recently, They scoop Bitcoin worth 150M USD which ignites the current pump on BTC price. Bitcoin is the safest coin to trade or invest in right now because this cin price doesn't rely on any altcoin price unlike Altcoins that rely on BTC price alone.
3700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and wrapped bitcoin on: January 25, 2021, 05:01:36 PM

Maybe dumb question but have to ask...

How is it possible

BTC with market cap $617,557,533,865 and $58,370,958,653 volume

to share same value and price with

wrapped bitcoin WBTC when the market cap is at $3,767,061,019 and the volume $231,802,572

     Huh

Of course they will be the same because WBTC is actually a representative of Bitcoin in Ethereum blockchain. Crosschain is not possible right now between BTC and ETH that's why wrapping it using Bitgo service can solved everything without developing a Crosschain feature. All WBTC circulating in ETH blockchain is backed by real BTC that is stored by a trusted third party.

WBTC = BTC

The only advantage of WBTC to BTC was you can buy or invest on DeFi project without the need of swapping your BTC to ETH. But the value will still remain which is 1BTC = 1WBTC as always since its value is pegged to BTC.
