3741  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When do YOU sell? on: July 03, 2017, 02:21:37 PM
Is simple . I recommend you to buy btc and hold them long long long time . And by long long time i mean to keep them minimum 5-6 years if you want to have a goood profit . If you bought 7 years ago bitcoins in value of 5 usd , actually you could have more than 4 millions dollars
If you want small profits , then go trading on low time , but also you need 1 btc minimum if you wanna feel the profit
Buy low and sell high . And always you need to follow the chart and to be updated with last news about that coin

Happy trading bro

I have to disagree with you on some things. trading lowtime/day trading is not just for small profits particularly if you have 1 bitcoin as your capital. with a right choices you can

certainly produce decent profits everyday. now if you don't have a 1 bitcoin, its okay because it is not necessary  although it will be a huge advantage if you have a huge capital

the bigger the better. i started with .01 btw

sadly you can't bring the time back when its 5 usd. let's just face what we have now
3742  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: July 03, 2017, 11:03:28 AM
As by value , bitcoin still the strongest currency but on second position, ETH really attempt to take bitcoin existency by seeing their transaction traffic recently.
It's quite shock because ETH able to beat LTC's second position

Uhhhh. kindly read the thread. we're not talking about cryptocurrencies here, were talking about every currency and that includes our paper money and the cryptocurrencies as

well. sad to say bitcoin is not even close to strongest as of now, but it do have a great potential. imo bitcoin doesn't need to be the strongest what it needs right now is a massive

adoption. let's see what will happen in the next few years.
3743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: July 03, 2017, 08:40:48 AM
hi dimcoin/all!

love to invest in this ICO, I am using depot wallet.

please can you confirm that the XEM address to send to is the one listed on the ICO page after clicking "Invest with XEM"

Also how are you calculating how many XEM is required for each DIM package on depot wallet? there doesn't seem to be a way to convert the correct amount of XEM for each package unless i'm missing something?

thanks for your help!

hi guys, does anyone have any info on this? help appreciated Smiley

Yes, you will be using the xem address that's on their website: https://www.dimcoin.io/.
found a good step by step guide for you: https://twitter.com/DIMCOIN_ICO/status/881143192996937731

I can't find any converter on their site for xem. you can just use a xem to usd price calculator like this one https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_calculator/nem/usd.
the minimum purchase is 1 token ans it costs $1 (1 token = 100 dimcoin) you can read it on their whitepaper. furthermore there will be a 10% bonus if you will be using xem.
better to invest early for a higher dimcoin bonus

3744  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Volatility Be Controlled? on: July 03, 2017, 07:25:20 AM
It's impossible to control the volatility of bitcoin imo as it is driven by many factors and obviously it's impossible to control it unless you own a large part of the given factors.

on the other hand it is fairly possible to have a minimum price as a result it won't go down that far, to achieve this there must be large number of users.

bitcoin's volatility is not that bad it creates both disadvantages and advantages. Disadvantages like whats in the op and an advantage for the traders and investors.
3745  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: July 03, 2017, 06:18:35 AM
A lot of people are rich now because of bitcoin, theres a big opportunity here in bitcoin to achieve your goals in life. I am not rich yet but Im making money with bitcoin and i believe in the future bitcoin will help me to become rich, im just saving more bitcoin today and wait until it hit my target price.

They are the people who invested in bitcoin in it's earlier stage. Bitcoin pumped it's price from a cents to thousand dollars, with the people who bought bitcoin from cents, they are now millionaires. Though, it will not happen to everybody, there are still times we're someone will not be the same as these people even though he invested in the start, he still need patience and hard work with that.
I not think Bitcoin is best way for help some people become to rich man or Millionaire Dollar. I have some friend starting earning with Bitcoin in August 2016, at that time, they buy a huge ETH and hold it with rate 6$/ETH. Only after 8 months, that money rasing up to 500% and they are become to rich man very easy, just holding ETH and forget that coin Grin

First things fiirst, there is no easy way to become rich, it takes a great time and effort to do that. what you guys are suggesting is investing. in order to invest you have to have a

capital, if you want bigger profits a huge capital will be needed. it is not easy as you will be risking your money, picking the right coin is the hardest one.  both btc and eth are a

good coin that's why its better to have a division of investment on both of them not just on a single cryptocurrency.
3746  Economy / Economics / Re: crypto is the future, make money of it on: July 03, 2017, 04:38:44 AM
Crypto currency now is getting popular once it is introduce to all the world this will be the future of all people to get off to poverty.Crytocurrency creates money, just make this as your job and if you have a job authomatic you have a salary.People live on earth towork to have food and needs. That if any creates good income,Im sure people will grab it to have income.

If you are able to earn a much greater or equal income through cryptocurrencies than your job where you go to a certain place like office, its fine to get a job through cryptos, a full

time one to be exact. correct me if i'm wrong but if you're going to hold like whats stated in the op. if that is your main job, you will be getting their your expenses so funds will

automatically decreased right? If you can better to have both.
3747  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: July 03, 2017, 12:03:53 AM
I believe that it can remove the poverty of the world if the people are educated and will know to use he technology of bitcoin which is not a problem and hard for anyone. They if start to use bitcoin then they will earn a bigger amount of money from their home and will start their own businesses.

It's not just about knowledge. there are a millions of people who can't even afford a clean water and eat three time a day. you really think they can afford a cheap gadget or even

rent a computer?. Lets face it, bitcoin is not accessible to everyone. To help reduce the global poverty someone should lend a hand and bring the horse to the water not just

bringing the water to the horse. i believe that the government is the one who can do this.
3748  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: July 02, 2017, 07:32:12 PM
Bitcoin had really created avenue to be self employed therefore reduces unemployment, personally It is a challenge for me to start learning some skills like web designs and trading. If I am well equipped with this skills I think unemployment will be thing of the past,  online services with payment in bitcoin is a very good opportunity for the unemployed to tap into this service so as to be gainfully employed.

You can also be self employed and work online through our current money now, the main problem is not all people have a bank accounts/paypal unlike on bitcoin, you can create

your own wallet or your own bank in just a few minutes. now let's talk about unemployment. if people are just a poster here no they don't reduce it at all because it's just a part

time job sadly, there are full time and part time jobs, i'm guessing that since its a way to reduce unemployment you do this thing full time. a posters income is not enough at all

to cover most expenses. It all depends on a persons income.Stable incomes are still the best choice sadly achieving it on freelancing or trading is really difficult.
3749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the current price drop considered a normal phenomenon? on: July 02, 2017, 06:36:02 PM
Not only in Bitcoin and Ethereum, but at least 90% of the cryptos prices are going down at this moment.  Many Youtubers said that this is normal in the cryptos space, are they correct?  I am not in this market long enough to understand this.   Huh
I already noticed but no one know but ee all know that sometimes the coins or cryptocurrency price in the market is always going up and down but we know that this time its really different because its ready go down a lot so its hard to unnoticed when you see your investment in a danger.

Every cryptocurrency and that includes bitcoin has its uptrend and downtrend. what the youtubers says is true. It is normal. haven't you watched the market this past few weeks?

it has increased incredibly fast.  what comes fast will go fast but it doesn't mean it will really go down. based from what happens everytime situations like this comes, bitcoin will

rise in a slower rate going to much stable price.
3750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Resurrection of Satoshi Nakamoto on: July 02, 2017, 05:28:25 PM
You have a very fertile imagination so to speak bro. That's good.  Wink Who knows, right? Satoshi Nakamoto might end up tired of hiding behind his/her/their pseudonym and end up divulging his/her/their identitie/s. But I seriously doubt it happens. Well, Einstein said imagination is more important than knowledge.  Wink

Why does he want to hide himself? He is a very talented person and he is respected by all. This really made me feel curious.

Because it is not necessary for bitcoin and its better to be hidden rather than to reveal himself/themselves and gain fame. fame is not always a positive thing sometimes it brings

unwanted situations. Have you read the article about newsweek? they victimized a certain old man  because they said that he was the founder of bitcoin. things are not entirely

positive for bitcoin now, governments, media, and the higher ups are watching it. And oh!! We still don't know if satoshi was a single person or a group  Shocked
3751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are we going with cryptocurrency? on: July 02, 2017, 02:12:14 PM
As soon as majority of the world is informed and knows about digital currency, what do you think will happen? No matter how good it sounds to traditional banking, how much of the population will make cryptocurrency grow?

When majority of the world is informed I think there will be 100 times more users of cryptocurrency than it is now. The price of Bitcoin will probably not rise 100 times though, because there are many other cryptos which people will be using.

I'm with you with that because 100 times is a bit exaggerated on its price for now but who knows in the future. Altcoins is certainly catching up on bitcoin although the situation

now is even though many of us are already using altcoins, our main cryptocurrency is still bitcoin.

being informed is just a first stage, the question is are people willing to learn cryptocurrencies, do they have the resources for it? what i observed on the people around me is

they come and go. they come because of money and when things get hard, they simply go.
3752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: June 28, 2017, 05:04:13 PM
If i hadn't been a bitcoin user, most likely the people around me will not even know bitcoin exists. the good thing is i've been telling people about bitcoin because they'd asked

where did I get my money since i'm just a student. every now and then they are asking about bitcoin and some did get their interest on it for different reasons such as they also

wanted to earn or they find bitcoin magical. the sad part is the other two persons have given up learning because they said that it was too deep for them.
3753  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Governments Shutdown the Internet? on: June 27, 2017, 04:16:24 AM
If the government turns off the internet, it will not happen any online transactions in the world, and it will be very much a problematic system, because most systems currently use the internet, so not just bitcoin, even the airport will also be problematic.

I don't know if they can shut it down but they can certainly regulate the internet of their country. honestly this topic is unnecesarily broad since we all know that most things in this worlds depends on it, so let's try to make it more specific one since his main concern is just about the bitcoin.

Governments joining forces together to ban bitcoin internet seems to be more possible than banning the internet and a one country/government banning bitcoin is the most possible situation to happen. In any case we can use proxies/vpns/tor but I'm sure other things might get invented in the future because we have a good community.

3755  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: June 26, 2017, 12:14:00 PM
I still dreaming that someday the proce of bitcoin go back below 1000$ so i can buy more and hold it for a few years i hope someday will do dump again but the question is how posible that bitcoin would go down if a lot of people interisted to hold it the more people buy and hold the highest of yhe price would be specialy now a lot of country already adopt bitcoin as a mode of payment the only choice that we have now is to buy an altcoin and convert it into a bitcoin and hold it until we reach the good price that we are looking for a good profit

Dont get you hopes high. This will not happen with current situation and progress of bitcoin, you could expect to see price go even higher. My presumption is that lowest possible price could be between 1800-2000 dollars per one BTC, dont think we will see this but if we do this would be lowest possible price for it.

To have a nice judgement of things you have to look on every side of it but because its he's dream, i think hes only looking on a one side of this where he will gain a lot. Well can't blame him for that because If i also have to dream, why not go for the best one right?

But things are different in reality, If bitcoin's price go down to $1000 there is still a high possibility that it might go lower and lower and going back to its high price now or higher can take months or years. So I honestly don't hope for $1000K now....
3756  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: June 26, 2017, 07:02:52 AM
In some features cryptos are better than fiat and vice versa but as of now fiat completely dominates cryptos in terms of the number of users and popularity.

this question has been asked a countless times and honestly superiority is not a problem to me as long as cryptos keeps improving because their coexistence can and will create

more opportunities like for example it created another way of trading.
3757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: Satoshi Nakamoto Is Dead!!! on: June 25, 2017, 06:56:18 PM
Maybe nothing will really happen because we all know that no one controls bitcoin but remember that it is always news/community driven thats why i'm sure a big news like this

will still have a significant effect on bitcoin. it will either go dump or pump but if it dumped, you have nothing to worry about as the chances are it will be a short time only, it will

go to its normal price again.
3758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you plan to pass on your bitcoin inhertance on: June 25, 2017, 08:02:09 AM
Basically it'll go to my current family. If I died early then it will go to my parents/siblings and if older then to my kids. Regarding with handling the coins well and retrieving it. you

don't really have to be an IT literate to do that. I don't know with the older people but young peoople these days are easy to adapt with technology. if you're going to leave a

note at least leave a instruction. its an obvious thing to do if you know that those people have no idea of what you're talking about.
3759  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading VS Bitcoin! on: May 17, 2017, 04:36:04 PM
If you look at the bitcoin marketplace now, it has a value over $1800.
You can assess its price would go upto $3000 this year. So, it would be also a profitable method to invest your funds in bitcoin now.
and still possible to increase again because most people predict the price will reach to $2000 even i'm still doubt about their predictions but indeed trading bitcoin will very much profitable and if OP had any plan with buying bitcoin and hold at least for next several months probably he would get huge profit

Why do doubt? Bitcoins price is $1800+ so $2k is not that far. you just said that keeping bitcoin for several months will indeed produce huge profit. doesn't that mean you believe bitcoin will increase a decent price in just a couple of months. i believe without a doubt that it can reach $2K this year.
Well, if you invested on bitcoin trading can help you increase your funds. in mining it depends on the electricity rate if its low mining will be better than trading because of low risk. anyways this thread has a misleading topic. read the op

Hi Folks!

Who do you think is profitable Trading bitcoins for other payment method or mining them?

Everybody feel free to reply you're free  Smiley

3760  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying clothes with bitcoins? on: May 17, 2017, 03:26:11 PM
I don't know if there is a site just like gamiss but if you want to buy clothes with bitcoin you must exchange it first to $ and paypal as a payment method. Because most of the online shops do only accepts payment with paypal or any other authorized web site. If you are not unable to find some other site like this, well try my suggestion and use virwox for it.
Cool, someday everyone will use bitcoin to buy anything. just wait. When it has happened do not let us be spectators only. Immediately buy bitcoin or get from the results of trading, mining etc. Roll Eyes
I do not think that will happen even in the future, not all store will accept bitcoin because this is very complicated and need time to confirm transaction they will prefer to accept cash than bitcoin. real talk!
Bitcoin is only good to earn money but it is not too good in buying some items using this currency.

A currency can never be good if you can buy things from it. I guess you have wrongfully perceive bitcoins. Bitcoins are easier to spend where they are accept. Sometime the transactions takes larger than usual but its ok.
What he was saying has a point but quite wrong on some things. bitcoin can be difficult to be accepted on physical stores because of the confirmation

time and fees. its given that people will prefer to use fiat.if buying clothes is through online it is a good idea because bitcoin is suitable on online

transactions. Secondly i agree that bitcoin is not just for earning. it is a money. it can do things that fiat also does.
