2961  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info wallet BIG probleme! CAN NOT SEND ANY AMOUNT EVEN WITH 10$ FEE!! on: December 16, 2017, 03:00:30 AM
so are you sure that after i import my recovery phrase and paste it on electrum wallet will work? i mean its from blockchain.info to electrum?
+ after all this is done are you sure that i'll be able to make transfer after that?

Blockchain.info uses BIP39 for its seed and electrum supports restoring a BIP39 seed so it should work. Actually I've tried it many times. Just make sure to tick the BIP39 Seed box

+ after all this is done are you sure that i'll be able to make transfer after that?

Most likely since the problem is on blockchain.info's side. It should work when you're not in that wallet anymore. That's exactly the purpose of your backup, to access you funds when something happens in blockchain.info

To add on, after importing its better to generate a new wallet in electrum and transafer the funds there since importing weakens your security as your bitcoins are accessible from both sides.
2962  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex completed withdraw Txid not exixstant on: December 15, 2017, 08:11:55 PM
Hi all,

yesterday I did 2 fast LTC withdraws for arbitraging reasons. Unfortunately things are gone bad:

for my big surprise, the withdrawals resulted to be completed with such of a TxID, but that txid on the block explorers was not found.

Money is arrived to the other hand, but only the amount of the first of 2 transactions, and only 8 hours later. i am still awaiting something like 8LTC (that's huge)

My question is, how is it technically possible to issue a transaction with a correct TxID (this morning the txid provided yesterday, was correctly found on explorers) but this is not available on the chain for hours or days? I am 18 hours delay now, for the second transaction. What can I do?

I think I'll leave Poloniex.

If they gave you the TXID then it means that the transaction has been initiated. If the coins are already in your wallet then the transaction is already confirmed/has received a decent number of confirmations. I'm guessing that it was because of the block explorer that you've used. So try and use as many block explorers as you can. You can find lots of them by doing a simple google search on the web.

So as for your 2nd transaction, But to clarify first how many withdrawal request have you did? Is it two? or just one but the total amount got divided into two?
If its two or more, What are the status of the withdrawals that you haven't received yet?
2963  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info is now supporting Bitcoincash. on: December 15, 2017, 05:11:20 PM
You are late.

Blockchain.info already fully supports Bitcoin Cash, thus, you can send, receive and exchange BCH.

You're right. I just saw it now, I thought this was another reposting of the previous news. I should have confirmed it first.
Anyway *Edited my previous post

Bitcoin cash has gained so much volume and support from many traders + miners thats the reason why blockchain.info and many other wallet services have started to support them.

Any cloned coin that can gain demand and support from community can easily get support from all bitcoin related services and merchants too like this.

You forgot that BCH also have some bigshots behind its back *cough* Roger Ver/Jihan Wu *cough*

But yes, Most likely blockchain.info first test it out by giving limited supported and the result was obviusly good so the outcome is this
2964  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitcoin split and BitGo Online wallet on: December 15, 2017, 04:54:53 PM
If they haven't support Bitcoin Cash, I'm pretty sure that they won't support all those new scam forks comming in the future.

After a long way of going back and forth, It was soon announced that they will support BCH. Apparently, the popular demand from users played a great part.
And as of now its implemented, Article here: https://blog.bitgo.com/bch-availability-c252727ea1be

Same question regarding the other forks that happened after Bitcoin Cash. Are they supported by BitGo?

For bitcoin gold, As of now they don't support it and I doubt that they will.

Bitcoin Gold is currently not supported by BitGo. We will continue to monitor the market viability of this blockchain to determine when and if we will support it. BitGo is committed to providing a secure wallet and takes great caution in adding new digital currencies.

As for the other forks or possible forks like super bitcoin, bitcoin god, bitcoin platinum etc.. There is no news about that but it should be given that they're a plain junk so they most likely won't support it.
2965  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info is now supporting Bitcoincash. on: December 15, 2017, 03:04:20 PM
As far as I know, Blockchain.info doesn't fully support bitcoin cash. They are only providing a limited support for users who had bitcoins at the time of the fork, if not you will not see an option called "Bitcoin Cash" in your settings. You can only send, exchange and store your BCH there so better pick a "true" wallet in their official site: https://www.bitcoincash.org/#wallets

2966  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopia ticket not answered and coins no showing up in Balances. on: December 15, 2017, 01:06:47 PM
I've been seeing this problem since October or earlier???. I don't know what exactly is going on but there's certainly a problem unsolved. This is such an inconvenience if this becomes a typical problem which keeps bouncing back and forth because users have to contact the support everytime.

Anyways, Expect your problem to be solved at a slow pace as wallet issues in cryptopia are handled only by a limited number of people furthermore if you read their forum there's a tons of people complaining for their unsolved ticket which increases the workload of cryptopia's support team.

I don't know if this will work but you can try following up your support ticket number in their social media accounts below as well as in their forum

2967  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ViaBTC HELP! Accidental fee of $570 with ViaBTC Pool on: December 15, 2017, 10:13:50 AM
I can't find the thread but from what I remember, there was this guy in the past who had a similar problem, it just differs in amount and the mining pool as he accidentally entered 1BTC as fee and yes he contacted the pool which relayed his transaction and they did eventually give it back so you should do the same. Just don't forget to provide a signed message of that address as viabtc won't just believe any statement upfront.

After sending an email to them you should also follow it up on their social media accounts below

2968  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: how does one sell their btc in a country where it's illegal ? on: December 15, 2017, 07:03:45 AM
The owner of the largest public torrent site called kickass got tracked because he used a coinbase address to accept donations so don't ever use any decentralized wallet or exchange where you have submitted lot's of your personal documents.

Second, Use TOR (You can find lots of tutorials over the net) or a logless vpn (Your vpn provider should be trusted)

Third, I recommend using a P2P trading platform prefferably like this forum with the use of an escrow. Here's the Currency Exchange board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0

Lastly, Once the buyer received the coins, ask him to use a coin mixing service to conceal its trails. I suggest using https://chipmixer.com where you get to pay want you want.
2969  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2FA athenticator on: December 14, 2017, 10:24:45 PM
Got a few questions first.

1. Which authenticator are you using?

2. Is the password included in the app or a built in feature in your phone?.
(Most phones has a built in app lock these days which you can customize. Did you set up one for your authenticator?)

3. Do you have your recovery codes? or any backups? Have you tried restoring them with a different authenticator app?
2970  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Unconfirmed transaction more than 2 days... please help me ... on: December 14, 2017, 08:53:06 PM
So to clarify, Did you made the payment even without receiving an email confirming your slot in their paid accelerator services? I'm not sure how it works but you should ask for more details first. And they're probably receiving a lot of emails since there's an increasing number of stuck transations because of the congested network so I suggest to send one again.

But anyway, Your transaction met the prerequisites of viabtc's free acceleration services so you can use it. You just need to wait a maximum of 8 hours I think? but most of the time its less. Enter it at XX:00:00 to avoid "submissions are full...."

EDIT: Accelerated using viabtc, It should be confirmed in the next block they'll mine.

EDIT 2: Viabtc included your transaction in block 499327
2971  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help please.. sent bitcoin to the wrong email on: December 14, 2017, 07:04:22 PM
Coinbase to coinbase transactions as far as I know are just IOU's and not on chain so transactions are technically not irreversible once confirmed. I guess you should contact their support regarding this and as much as possible provide some proofs. There's only a slim chance of getting your money back so next time don't play with your money.

2972  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: https://www.pastecoin.com this web is scammer on: December 14, 2017, 04:10:40 PM
From what I know pastecoin is legit and have been around the community for years although when I checked it, I noticed that they haven't updated their blog and twitter, Furthermore their site is so buggy now but there's no news if the devs have dropped this or not. The sellers are actively posting their paste there though.

But are you sure that you've bought from a registered user? not from an anonymous? Because pastes from an anonymous user are not entitled of a refund in case.
2973  Economy / Exchanges / Re: help for cryptopia on: December 14, 2017, 02:45:13 PM
Cryptopia is legit, I have used them a few times to buy coins that are not listed in the exchanges that I usually use. And Except for their slow support and the high withdrawal fees (.002BTC) I have no complaints.

If you want a detailed review, I suggest doing a simple google search. It will just pop-up

Figured you might want this so here you go, It's their ANN thread here: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development

2975  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info wallet BIG probleme! CAN NOT SEND ANY AMOUNT EVEN WITH 10$ FEE!! on: December 14, 2017, 10:26:12 AM
her's a full video on what is happening to me here , please any expert any one who have experience in this help !

https://uploadfiles.io/7p5ma

i dont know if you guys will recive a notification on my reply cause i created an account just to ask about this probleme ,, if not then i hope other experts will come !
HELP ME PLEASE!

ps : i couldnt find a service that upload videos to stream directly so ...

any ways please help

I'm a bit skeptical on downloading the file. Next time you can use youtube or openload

Anyways, About your problem, That is definitely on blockchain.info's side. I think this might be caused by high traffic. The status of their site says its 100% operational even though I can't even view a single transaction in their block explorer.

You can contact their support regarding this but don't expect to have a response in a few minutes as they can be slower than turtles. And I'll bet they will just said the usual response that their aware of the problem and will fix it asap. Here are the links though:

On the other hand if you don't want to wait and want to access your funds asap. You can import your wallet in electrum (Desktop) or Mycelium (Android)

Steps for electrum:

*Please Note that, this requires you to have your recovery phrase. If you don't have it you can get it at Settings --> Security --> Wallet Recovery Phrase)

In electrum:
Standard Wallet --> I already have a seed --> Enter your recovery phrase --> Options --> tick the BIP39 Seed Box --> Leave the derivation unchanged --> Set a stong password

*Imported Addresses are not included in your recovery phrase/seed

In Mycelium: http://bl4nkcode.info/bitcoin/how_to_export_blockchain_wallet_private_key
2976  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Cannot receive blockchain unspent output on: December 13, 2017, 09:15:47 AM
Go to Settings and addresses tab in your wallet to check if that address really belongs to your blockchain.info account. If it is, The problem is on blockchain.info's side.
You can contact their support regarding that and follow it up in social media accounts. Here are the links:

But if you want to access your funds quickly, I suggest to import in in electrum as blockchain.info's support is a close relative of turtles.

2977  Economy / Exchanges / Re: i'm noob. i don't seen my deposit. Help me on: December 13, 2017, 02:24:03 AM
Into afternoon (15 o'clock) i have made a deposit of btc towards bitfinex.
In Blockchain.info the deposit is confirmed. In my wallet of bitfinex there isn't!
why?
help me.
thanks

Bitfinex was under a DDOS attack a few hours ago and their API is also down so this can be the cause of it but come to think of it, There was a time where there's no any kind of problem in bitfinex but my deposit showed up after a day. But I won't suggest to just wait it out. It's better to do a combination of contacting their support plus waiting but since they're a close relative of turtles your problem is most likely already solved before you even receive a reply from them but you can still try since its better than just waiting.

Email them here: support@bitfinex.com or you can use this: https://www.bitfinex.com/support

2978  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Nano Ledger S Offical Site? on: December 12, 2017, 10:41:33 PM
Where does the nano ledger ship from if you buy it from the main site?

According from this they are headquartered in Paris so I guess it comes from that place.

I was told by others that amazon, you would get it pretty quick especially if you have amazon prime?

It still depends per place. If you're in US, it will definitely be.
As for Amazon Prime: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201631620

I CAN SEE PRICE 58 EURO AND SHIPPING IS 50 EURO TO ALGERIE LOL
I USED EBAY TP BUY EM ONLY 72 $ +12 or 14$ shipping cost

The only ebay retailer I see from their list of authorized retailers is only one and it seems like he's not active anymore? as there's no products that are in sell.
Still, I wouldn't buy from a seller that isn't listed here: https://www.ledgerwallet.com/retailers
Wouldn't compromise my safety for a few bucks.
2979  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: LOST ALL MY MONEY By BLOCKCHAIN EXCHANGE on: December 12, 2017, 10:08:42 PM
The Exhange was on 7 December, its was on on 10 December confirmed. but its still show as Pending and now its almost 13 December

Well that's definitely too long. I even think it might be a failed trade as shapeshift conversions are usually fast and I heard in blockchain.info conversion are in "precise" mode so there should be a time limit per session but I'm not sure since that feature isn't available in my country although I've used the regular shapeshift.

Example of a failed trade: https://i.imgur.com/5kb4fAG.png

Anyways, What I've said earlier about contacting their support is still valid as only them can help you in this and provide you some details on what really happened. Don't forget to follow it up on their social media sites. Try to make your support ticket detailed and followed by proofs e.g. screenshots, Order ID, TXID etc.
2980  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: LOST ALL MY MONEY By BLOCKCHAIN EXCHANGE on: December 12, 2017, 08:47:37 PM

Hey,

The conversion of coins in blockchain.info is powered by a third party called shapeshift and I just checked their site. Apparently, Transactions may be delayed for hours as both the bitcoin and ethereum networks are congested. (*Applies only when the trade is completed and the coins are already on chain--can be viewed by block explorers)

The Ethereum and Bitcoin networks are currently experiencing significant congestion. Transactions may be delayed for hours.

So your funds will probably show up after a few hours but since blockchain.info's support can be slower than turtles, I suggest to contact them now in case something happens like waiting for the exchange process for days. *Please note that the conversion/exchange process will only start once they've received your deposit and as you said, it only confirmed today right? So technically you haven't waited for days.
