I'm about to pay an invoice for a domain. It cost $10/ year but the bank take $7.5 in transfer fee. 75% in fee That is ridiculous and this is why Bitcoin will succeed in the long run. I'd like to call myself a Bitcoin advocate, however, to the banks defense, there has to be a reason for this ridiculous fee. You didn't include much information in the OP, but a 75% is almost unheard of. Most banks don't operate under this type of high fee unless a transaction involves a lot of loops and turns. Perhaps this may have been an international transaction involving a type of currency conversion or something. Needless to say, banks are notorious for making money off people.

I would like to request an extension of my deadline for evaluation. I am close to the minimum posts, but I do not want to spam to reach the minimum requirement so a bit more time would be great. I haven't had as much time recently to view threads and post on ones that grab my attention, my apologies. Thank you.

How are people accepting the pizza? I understand there was a promo code for Papajohns that offered 50 percent off the total purchase amount a bit ago, but are you using this? Or are ordering through a credit card at full price?

Litecoin is essentially your secondary Crypto to go to. Community isn't as strong, nor is it as common. BTC I would say is more universal and widely accepted. Personally, I'd say Bitcoin is the way to go. A bit bias though

I see it rising up. I would call a good time to buy right about now. It's on a slight steady increase. We're recovering from the crash that happened a bit ago so buy!

I did some looking into things like this. I'm not as optimistic. Things like this have a lot of speculation associated with them, and it's not uncommon for a topic like this to be expected soon. For it to be operational in two years, very unlikely in my opinion. The technology is there, but I doubt we could execute something like this.

i am sorry guys, i just stumbled on this topic, i dont fucking belive this Believe it or not, many people made even more mistakes. Some let upwards of 20k BTC right through their hands. But hey, they knew no better.

Coinbase is my personal favorite. Usually straight forward and easy to buy Bitcoin. Verification as usual is a bit frustrating at times but this goes for all major exchanges. Security is quite good as well.

Complete and utterly useless. A pointless imprisonment will now cost tax payers hundreds of thousands over his life time while he's sitting there for a non-violent crime. Completely uncalled for.

Really poor analogy. You can not compare Bitcoin to checks. Bitcoin is yes, a good way to transmit money under a decentralized network. Not just anonymously. Checks are supported by the bank. Without the bank, the check is a piece of paper.

Does the PSN card works worldwide or just in Europe since it's in EUR ??

I see this as very unlikely. Yes, pathogens can evolve into things that can infect humans, but to turn them into "zombies" is ridiculous. However, if a meltdown would go down, I can imagine Bitcoin would be up.

It's been on a steady decrease for a bit now and has now gotten stable at the mid 250's. After a crash, this is to be expected. I imagine in the long term, probably months, it'll increase steadily.

Wouldn't be surprised if the price would drop again after this small hype. Doesn't seem like this one person would affect much to be perfectly honest.

BTC jam has MAJOR issues. I would recommend not loaning out there. High risk of scams. A majority of loans do not get paid back.

Just some random pornographic pictures you snagged online and put it in a download. Nothing special, and no one should pay for this.

You probably didn't care about it too much before the reduction in price. If the price is what determines the drive you have for Bitcoin completely, then you view it as a simple currency and nothing more. I understand your point though. You lose interest when the price is in the gutter.

Not surprising. Sick way to spread a pointless message of islamic extremism. They recently kidnapped women and children from a village a few days ago. Their fate may end up being the same.

Maybe invest it into a gambling site? Probably make something off the house edge over the long term. Be careful where you put it though. Some casinos may run.
