3761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need some help to Understand Bounty campaign on: December 21, 2020, 02:36:43 PM
actually rank is not an obstacle in determining the project we want to support because it all depends on the research you do and seeing the performance of the manager, look at the project I am participating in now managed by a newbie account and I believe it

Case to case basis. Having a good manager will save time for bounty manager to do research to the project fro themselves since trusted manager will never or atleast low chance that will accept a garbage project with zero future.

Although sometimes, rank is not required when the project being endorse was trusted and backed by well-known established company.

3763  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Web browser wallets for BTC on: December 21, 2020, 01:14:28 PM
I'm familiar on Math wallet and I can vouch for that since I have no issue ever since I use it. Maybe you should add Bitamp wallet if your category is a Web wallet. Besides that I'm wearing there signature campaign. I'm using there wallet too for storing my funds that dedicated for my gambling and other activities. So far I don't have any using it since I love there simple and convinient wallet for my SegWit and legacy wallet.
3764  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Adkinsbet scamming me close to £2000 in winnings on: December 21, 2020, 09:39:15 AM
To summarise:

1. Adkinsbet allows me to register from the UK. (you could select the UK as a country of residence, no IP block on the UK)
2. Adkinsbet allows me to play for over a week, making more deposits than withdrawals.
3. I try to make a withdrawal of close to 2000GBP in winnings and my account is closed - deposit and winnings confiscated.
4. After a week of asking for the money, Adkinsbet finally decides to issue refund of deposits, but not winnings.
5. I say I don't agree with them not returning the winnings, but at this point I have no choice, and I send them my btc wallet address in private message as they requested.
6. After delaying their decision for a week, surprisingly within a few hours they decide to revoke their decision to pay a deposit refund because they take my words to mean that I dont accept a refund from them.

Just to clarify Adkinsbet. I ACCEPT a refund. I disagree with the decision, but this does not mean that I wont accept a refund.

But you all are taking my words to mean I dont want a refund.

You are just making things complicated here. Take note that you have fault here and adkinsbet is just making a consideration about your issue. They are willing to refund your money but you said that you disagree with there decision which implying that there act of refunding your funds is unacceptable for you since you are aiming to fully receive your winnings. You are lucky that they are willing to extend there help even though you violated there T&C.

3765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hasn’t the correction happened yet? Or has it? on: December 21, 2020, 02:04:34 AM
Correction already occur when BTC deep @17.5K USD level and this current trend is a fresh trend, there is no sign of weakening of volume that's why correction still not in sight base on charts and indicators. You will know if correction is near once the volume become low and price become stable at certain level. That means bulls are already exhausted and need to correct at that point.
3766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was Bitcoin Creator Satoshi Nakamoto a Poker Pro? on: December 20, 2020, 06:51:31 PM
Hi guys, have have read the news here about Satoshi Nakamoto?

 Roll Eyes    https://bitcoinplay.org/was-bitcoin-creator-satoshi-nakamoto-a-poker-pro/

Possible because I remember during early days of BTC, It was use mainly in gambling which satoshi was aware that his coin was being use for that. There is a possibility that it was true but no one can guarantee it since no one really know his identity. This is a great kind of discussion, I have a friend that been mining BTC during early stage of BTC that's why I know that BTC is always being use for gambling.
3767  Economy / Speculation / Re: We should stop using the term "All Time High" on: December 20, 2020, 04:41:26 PM
OP seems over thinking things about BTC. There's no wrong to use the word all time high(ATH) if they really the ATH at that moment. As long as the statement indicates the time for the ATH that they are describing.
3768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the top 5 ALTS you held in 2020 on: December 20, 2020, 03:37:28 PM
5 altcoins? Unfortunately I only have 2 altcoins this year, Ethereum and Waves,
and I am grateful that this year both of them are following a bullish trend at the end of this year,
for 2021 maybe I will add 2 more altcoin for investment.

Most of the altcoins is following the BTC trend especially in fiat value. FYI

My top 5 coin was $BNB, $LINK, $ETH, $CRV and $DOT

I stay the majority of my portfolio on some defi project that I know will recover again in the future due to fundamentals. Then leave 1st and 2nd spot to BNB and ETH since we all know that they are the most consistent in price growth because of there solid use.
3769  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Adkinsbet scamming me close to £2000 in winnings on: December 20, 2020, 02:42:38 PM
What more proof can I provide that I registered in the UK when I provided a picture of the registration? I have emails from the Adkinsbet confirming that the UK was in fact listed as a country on their registration list, which I am also happy to provide.
Yes, you provided a photo of your registration page during registration. But it's really very easy to edit it by inspecting. (I am not saying you are lying.) Just ask to provide if anything more proof you have so that it shows strong.

I have already referred this topic on their ann thread to response here. So I think you will get a response about this issue soon.

Thank you. Here is further proof in an email from them:

https://imgur.com/a/m4GZgqa

In the email they say, the UK came up "accidentally" and it was "not relevant" that the UK appeared in the country registration list because it was excluded in the Terms and Conditions. However, I dispute this. They allege that it's not in the Terms, so then why is it listed allowing people to register with that country?

As you can see from the email, i NEVER tried to hide my location from them. I used no VPN, I sent them proof of address and Photo ID from the country I registered from. I never tried to lie to them and say I am in another country. I did this in good faith because they had opened registration on their website from the country I am located in.

A bit fishy, they should at least let you withdraw your winnings if you just violate there T&C due to country restriction since UK is available country in there option during registration process. Not all users are reading T&C and once they saw there country on registration process, they probably wouldn't read anymore about country restriction.

Unless you have no other violation such as shady transaction and bet. I believe there's something wrong on holding your funds.

EDIT:

Post directly your concern too on there main ANN thread. There representative seems active there.
3770  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC technicals are against ATH. Liquidate on: December 20, 2020, 02:35:21 PM
Fact is nobody on the planet can predict bitcoin and it's movement.

Yeah, It's true in all assets but a group of whale with massive holdings can change the trend of BTC in a split second especially on the current condition of BTC which is fear is already high since its already break the long time ATH record. I'm sure that many traders that playing futures will setup a long position at this stage that's why I'm what will gonna happened on the next move of BTC.
3771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 19, 2020, 10:36:11 AM
Any thoughts on the Blazers game tonight? I plan to take a leap of faith in them and bet AH -3.5 Blazers at 3.65.

I want a little thrill as I bet on Cavaliers earlier and this seems to be wasted.

-3.5 against Denver Nuggets?? This is surely a crazy bet considering there previous match up. I'm not a fan of Blazers because they are so inconsistent despite of there good roster. I believe you should just bet during live game of this match then wait for a handicap to turn positive for a safe bet. Anyway this is basketball and no one knows what will happened. Maybe Melo make some magic.

I was after the high odds here, hoping for a surprise.

And watching the game right now, definitely miss it! Cheesy Nuggets totally dominates the game for Q1 and Q2 and the current odds for them are 1.02 :|

I understand that, Sometimes I do that if I'm desperate to bet with high odds. I usually pick a random match and choose high odds BTW nuggets dominated the game as I predicted. Even +30 for Blazers is not sufficient to win the match. I hope that you bet only what you can afford to lose.

Real talk, It's sucks to watch a game if you bet on the losing side. I always grab the remote and turn to different channel then come back when the match is near to end.   Cheesy:D

3773  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]Do not sign up on Duckdice.io Unfair dice site on: December 18, 2020, 02:41:23 PM
Duckdice.io is well known for having a shady behaviour in the past. You can check there bitcointalk.org account trust feedback (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=917361).

To be fair. Can you proof on why you said that they are unfair in some of your bet? Anyone can tell that the casino is not fair when they are losing tons of money. You need proof in every accusation and also to support flag against the casino. Sorry for your loss mate.

PS: This topic is more appropriate on reputation section.
3774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the third 'most crowded trade' in global fund manager survey on: December 16, 2020, 12:07:47 PM
The problem was Bitcoin trading volume and popularity is not consistent. Yes Bitcoin is really growing fast considering the survey but the problem was the survey is done during the crypto market is hype. I believe BTC is already in this position or close to it last 2017. Consistency is the really issue in this volatile market, I want to see another survey once the hype is over and I believe that is the normal result.
3775  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer @Trespasser (PROOF) on: December 15, 2020, 02:10:58 PM
The user was already online today in the forum. Did he saw already your message in the telegram? It seems like he has a problem on his bank account and of course it will obviously happened because its too many VCC. 3776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most valuable tokens on Ethereum blockchain on: December 15, 2020, 04:53:49 AM
I thought that was all your coins. Well I've seen LINK all around for a couple of days now, do someone think this could be a really good investment for long term or not?

Most of the crypto project is using smart contract and they need a secure database for it. Chainlink is the biggest oracle network provider in crypto. Most of the project needs there service that's why they can capitalize the oracle industry in crypto. Chainlink is the most promising project so far in crypto due to its used and the potential market for there services is very huge. A great project to invest.
3777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DeFi Dead? on: December 14, 2020, 07:20:49 PM
The correction could be bring lasting solution to some challenges in Defi, more people are beginning to to look into Defi but in a careful way. Improved DEX are coming out with intent of low transaction fee, better DEX interface, Simpler transaction process, better loaning and interest, better Farming and security. If this level is found, confidence of traders and investors will bring a reliable Defi community

This is not correction. Many DeFi project turns to scam which results to fear. Many investors already lose tons of money on this kind of pump and dump scheme. This is same scenario to 2017 ICO madness that suddenly died after scammer enter the same boat and destroy the crypto Community by creating fear using scam ICO.

Lots of DeFi project is just a copy cat of each other like yield farming and elastic supply concept. Only few DeFi project might survive but the majority of the existing DeFi project will surely die on this market collapse.
3778  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans are cheap good time to use loans for Investment in btc on: December 14, 2020, 04:23:03 PM
End 2017, there was no sign either that the Bitcoin could go down, the price was growing for many weeks. Remember how it went 1 month later?
No sign...
Don't think we are in a somehow "safe" situation because it will never be the case, whatever with BTC or another altcoin.

Now about to borrow money with a loan to gamble with on the Bitcoin's price, this is something crazy to me. What about if you have a mortgage tied to it, let's say your house for example. Then later since you decided to gamble with a loan, you lose your house, what do you do?. If you have children and a wife, Are you all going to live on the pavement, feeding off the rubbish bins?

Anyway, to take a concrete example of the absurdity of borrowing money to inject it into crypto, try to go to a bank, even if you have been a customer for a decade, and ask your banker for a $50k loan. He will of course ask you the reason, then tell him it's to buy crypto. Then look at your banker's face, and he will tell you that this is not a viable option because of the risks in the market.
he's going to laugh out loud once you're gone.

Once Again to know If its right or wrong need to calculate risk/ rewards*

How can you calculate something that can happen suddenly just like the scenario you quoted above. By judging the 2017 price chart, the risk for BTC to plunge down on that low price level was very low considering all the price support at that time. But it breaks easily once the rapid sell off occur. So when we apply the calculation of risk/reward, You will basically fall for that trap and lose everything that you loan.
3779  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ✅ Need a community advice. What is your opinion? on: December 14, 2020, 03:40:36 PM
I vote for monitor.coinplatform.com which is SEO wise since the word "monitor" is more famous than "rate" base on trend.google.com.

https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?q=Rates,Monitor

People have different preferences and the choices is almost identical so it will still give you a headache on choosing the name even after you saw the result of the poll since the your preference as an owner still will govern.

3780  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks going in stable coins news its starting now on: December 14, 2020, 02:57:55 PM
Also the banks see that USDT not so trusted*
So they like stable coins but regulated ones*

Source: https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/one-of-the-worlds-oldest-banks-is-issuing-a-euro-stablecoin-on-stellar-2020-12-09

But no info about air drop?
Are the stellar holders getting free coins or What's the deal?

Stellar is an open network blockchain project and the stable coin they are pertaining are new coin that built on Stellar Blockchain. There will be no airdrop for token holder since this is not free money as they are banks that wants to build there own cryptocurrency. Maybe there's some airdrop for XLM holder but that's not necessary just like what typical project that we are seeing generating there coin in a certain blockchain through fork.
