Look up wildrig miner for AMD x16r miner. Should get 8-10Mh/s but its not very efficient power wise.

For as much as people bash ohgod and her team they did provide the masses with the ethpill for free , which is more than any scammy asic manufacturer has done, screw shitmain and thier coupons
She likes to play figurehead and all but she wasn't the one who came up with the pill, neither did she invent ProgPow. There were a lot of smart people working on different projects. She just put her mug on it. Worked well on the pill, but she screwed up on Mineority. Now she's putting all her eggs into the ProgPow basket. Look, I have nothing against people who try and fail. I do however despise people who find cop outs and don't take ownership when they do. She didn't come up with the pill? Then who did? AFAIK, it was her github repo where all the code came from so i, along with everyone else, assumed she built it. Nope, she stole it from someone. Not sure if she made any money from it, but the guy that made it never saw a dime and she used the software as a stepping stone to get her into the real big scams.

I think two steps ahead and focus on whats going to get me the maximum amount of money in a few years of mining and not selling a single coin till we hit next parabolic bull cycle. I always pick out my gpu's based on a rig setup that will allow me to mine the most popular new coins like grin and beam early before asics hit them and I pick hardware that has most efficiency for the long game so i don't get gpu liquidated.
Man you sound so delusional its hilarious

Has anyone done some algo testing with the plain 1660's with DDR5 yet?

Anyone here have success in mining with Windows 7?
Basically I used the stock AMD drivers 19.3 and stock bios and the most I get is like 400 Hs with a RX 470 4GB.
Increasing the settings from 1242/1650 to like 1242/2000 does little change. The AMD drivers in Win 7 don't have a compute option so you can only use those Robinhood drivers from like 2 years ago.
Using those drivers yields like 650 Hs with 1242/2000 and can't go any higher.
Wondering if I need to mod the BIOS from stock straps or is it only possible with Win 10 and Ubuntu?
Just use HiveOS should get 820 hash without any trouble. Can get over 1k hash with proper straps though.

... This Spotswood kit is really helpful for 4U builds, but the screws and parts are tiny (frustrating at first): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1731197.0Your first "Spotswood" build will leave you cursing, the second will be much easier. If you are of my age, you will need those reader glasses to handle the tiny screws. But his designs are elegant in some ways. ... I had one client that assembled over 100 of those brackets. Much respect to that man. That poor bastard

You don't want to create a vacuum chamber as you need fresh air to blow over the GPU's to dissipate heat properly while evacuating stale used heat.

Looks like the 1660 non ti has a faster memory speed at 2000mhz/1660nonti x 1500mhz/1660 ti, anyone to share common coins hashrate?
Plain 1660 is GDDR5 and the Ti version is DDR6. 1660 also has slightly higher core clock stock, but they both max out the same core clock when OC'd.

I have a power color RX570 4gb card that just dies in after about 10 mins.... Running 1200 core with 900-1000mv and 2025 memory with 925-1000mv... setting TRM at 8+6.
Any thoughts?
Try 2000mem 8+8 or 8+7

Is this set up to mine the modified XMR algo?
I stopped mining XMR prior to the hard fork but certainly can try there new algo to verify. Fairly easy using simplemining taken from simplemining thread: "nanominer-v1.1.0 (Added CryptoNightR on Nvidia. Up to 17% faster than best competive CryptoNightR Nvidia miners currently available with only 1% devfee. Miner can now auto-detect Monero coin and algorithm so no need to reconfigure miner after PoW hardfork on March 9th." nanominer is nvidia GPU's only I think. You can just run hiveOS USB on pandaminers or try your luck with their installed windows drive.

HELP Trying to run this miner with 2 x Sapphire Pulse RX 574, miner version 0.4.1. Win 10, AMD driver version 18.6.1. Miner runs for a while, then driver gets stuck in device driver.. and system reboots.. Usually, this means too much undervolt, but I am now running both GPUs at 1200/2000 at 1V core and it still it crashes.... The previous version ran fine mining CNV8 coins.
EDIT: Lowered core freq to 1150. Seems more stable now. But I see a lot of memory errors in HWiNFO now... and mem is only at 2000... Hmm. Maybe these cards were not made for monero mining.. A lot better in ETH mining they are..
Save your current BIOS and try new straps. I'd suggest 1 click BIOS straps if you havent used them before..

XZC popped this morning and is super profitable on nVidia currently.
Hopefully it pulls everyone off the coins I'm trying to mine

Highly doubt it's "fake". Dell gets their junk early all the time.

just google the board layout and u'll find the answer. actually I have 148 P104s and my friend has done his upgrade from 4 to 8GB with posting his cards to flash. since I'm a CS student I want to find the way to flash my own.
So being a "computer science student" you want to ask other people on the internet how to do it instead of your friend that has already done it? Pretty fucking stupid if you ask me.

first of all P104-100 typically have only 4 GB of Ram.
4 GBs are available, but actually there are 8 GBs soldered on board. So you think they were all suppose to be 8GB boards but some of them were defective so they just disabled 4GB and there must be a magical way to enable the rest of the RAM?

Yes they are needed badly But I think they are around 1070 hashrates? But with slightly lower power usage. That would be safe to assume. Specs are way better than a 1060 and gaming benchmarks have it even with a 1070 and sometimes coming close to 2060 in certain games.

It's what the title states, a amd vega frontier edition. It is basically the same as an amd vega 64 but with higher vram. Would suggest doing a Google search.
Title states AMD Vega Frontier Edition but its actually an AMD Radeon Vega commercial workstation card. Might want to mention it is a workstation card with drivers focused on those types of tasks rather than mining or gaming! Also its not 'higher VRAM' as it is the same speed, there is just more of it. 16gb versus 8gb. The confusion is due to AMDs poor naming convention, seeing how you labeled it you would assume its a Vega series from their retail line and not a workstation specific card. While not branded as a Pro product, the card is marketed within the Radeon Pro series Good job AMD for the confusion! What the hell are you on about? If you don't know what Frontier Edition means that is your problem. It was even rebranded for blockchain.
