Npr.

Posebno kad to radi bujna koka Cheesy

382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is a new concept for crypto-currency that you never heard before on: February 21, 2018, 02:05:24 PM
OK, I understand your concept now. You aren't working on bringing the stability of prices (which I think is one of the crucial things for mass adoption - if you were the owner of Amazon for example, would you be willing to accept something that can be worth 1/100 or x100 in a week?) but you are working on implementing the stability of ratios and your example with oranges is very good to illustrate your point.

However, the usability of this still eludes me. As you mentioned it is good to gain the trust if you compare markets, competitors etc. but how would your coins, and market, actually benefit from this? OK if you would fix the ratio of say..... RAR to Bitcoin (like kn to EUR, DEM to EUR) but what is the benefit of fixing the ratio between three new coins?
383  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Capitalizations are misleading on: February 21, 2018, 01:57:00 PM
There's an alternate school of thought which says: cryptos market cap devaluing wipes out the "weak" money and "weak" investors leaving behind stronger and better adapted investors and money, resulting in a more powerful and robust crypto market. (There are memes which parallel these ideas, that are jokes. The one about alcohol wiping out weak brain cells, leaving only the stronger and fitter brain cells behind is lols.)

On a more serious note. Even in commodities and equities markets, there will be many who argue intermittent price corrections, such as cryptos recent decline, can be healthy for markets and the economy. The massive decline of the ICO market could benefit crypto over the long run. The type of large scale devaluation which hit ICO's recently wiped out many of the scammy and overvalued investments. When that occurs, the more legitimate and higher quality investments survive. This could benefit ICO's over the long term. Bitcoin's recent decline might also do away with some of the lower quality or scam based operations, leaving behind better opportunities and a safer more reliable market. It may not be difficult to find examples of value increasing as market cap decreases.

A similar thing happened with a recent cash flow crisis in our country. Inability to service their obligations forced many companies to shut their doors forever. However, those that remained were mostly those companies that settle their debts on due dates. This made our market much easier to work in. It's still far from perfect though.
384  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A strategy for "surviving" in times of crisis on: February 20, 2018, 01:17:35 PM

Your strategy looks good but I think this will work only on the perfect world. No offense but this plan will only work if you are really settled financially. There are people who's struggling to their daily financial needs that even on 10% gain will withdraw there profit from their investment or trade or worst withdraw the money at loss. But still you have good plan most especially the vacation one that's very good suggestion I really like it.

Take a look at the Deppil's post and my answer to iv4n on page 2.

Do I really need to travel? That would chip away money from my rainy day fund. I would take a break to take away the stress and anxiety maybe for a day or two. Play some games or do outdoor activities. Then work hard again. It is a crisis, you need to make ways to survive it.

You took it literally, go read a book or, as you said, play some games, whatever. Enjoy the life Smiley
This post is about setting a right mindset, not about the literal point-to-point strategy.

For me during the bloody weeks, I just go around malling and watching movie. I think I did not see my portfolio for 2 weeks, I just enjoy moment outside and breath some fresh air. Now, seems market  is slowly recovering, I go back to check and trading again. Sometimes when market is gloomy, we need to have life outside the crypto world and enjoy. Bloody market makes us sad, that is why we need to change environment from time to time.

You got it right pal.

You did not mention how long to go on vacation. because I've done that too when bitcoin prices have gone down, but after I get home, bitcoin price has not come back as before since I bought, this is already more than 1 month after bitcoin price down? should I take months off again until bitcoin prices to go up lol? I know this way to avoid panic but sometimes this does not work, its just add budget and make panic again when the price never goes up after going on holiday

You too? Shishhhhh. Don't take it literally, just grab a mindset and enjoy life. During crisis go watch a TV or something. If you really like and can afford it you can travel, yes.

Exercise regularly. Walk, run, bicycle thirty minutes every other day. The endorphins released will help you mentally and emotionally. Your sleep will improve. Your body will be stronger and you will feel more in control.

Kudos!

actually, the function of the above points is so you don't get panic when a coin prices go down. usually, the price will go up after a few days, that's the function you go on vacation. after going home then you see the price is back pump, but sometimes when the pump does not meet expectations. sometimes we have to wait a long time for the price to go up. so the point is not the travel that makes you not panic. you have to change your mindset that falling prices are a natural thing and rising prices are a sure thing.

Deppil, you are my hero.
385  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Capitalizations are misleading on: February 20, 2018, 01:06:40 PM
I get your point, but the price usually doesn’t vary a great deal from one exchange to another so I don’t think you will see such a drastic price difference in reality. Market Cap to me is just a way to compare the value of one project to another since the number of coins is different per each project. It’s just one thing to look at in comparing coins among many different things.

I would also use it more occasionally to check the ratios, not the absolute amounts. Total maket cap amount can only show us a market trend, which is very useful, and individual market caps will be of more use once the market will be more mature and stable.

I roll my eyes when I see the media commenting on how Bitcoin lost say, 50 Billion Dollars in a single week.  Roll Eyes ...How are

they doing that calculation? Did they add the total amount of Dollars or other currencies than bitcoins were sold for at

different times during that week or did they simply round it off? { 20 000 coins were sold x whatever the price were, when

they did their article? } Do they know how many coins were traded in private 1 on 1 trades? {impossible}  Huh

They simply look at the market cap and as OP noted - as a single tool it doesn't work.

Haha, not, that was a joke (you didn't recognize the emoticon?).
What I asked was - is there a way to pin more than 5 posts, or at least keep them near the top?
did you mange to do it?

Unfortunately, for now, I have 5 pinned posts and 1 that I have to keep importing manually every day, so I would actually need 7 to pull it off. I would be even more happy with at least 10. Let's say that yours is in the testing phase Smiley
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: February 20, 2018, 12:58:01 PM
Chelsea had big problems in the end of January and beginning of February that saw them suffer loses against against teams like Bournemouth and Watford but in the last two games they showed improvement and tomorrow they will face their biggest test in the season. I think that the visitors have much better chance to win because the blues have some important players will be doubt to feature in the game like Luiz Alonso Barkly and Bokayoko while Morata their main striker will be definitely absent in the game leaving Giroud the only leading Striker while Barcelona had a solid team allover the season so I expect the visitors to grab the three points.
Although Chelsea plays at home I feel that Barcelona will dominate in the game because typical coaches from Italy always rely on counterattacks with strong defense. The greatest chance for Chelsea is to win from Barcelona in the first leg and they should be able to hold Barcelona in the second leg although it is not easy for Chelsea who is still improving their best performance this season.

If this game was played 20 days ago, I would say that Chelsea has no chance of getting trough. In the meantime they have managed to put out 2 good performances so maybe they can get something from this first game. However, in my mind Barcelona is still overwhelming favorite to pass trough the next stage. For Chelsea to have any chance they need at least 2 goals in this first game vs. Barcelona defense which has only conceded 1 goal in first 6 Champions League matches this season. We always watch Barcelona trough their attacking prowess but this season they have strengthened the defense as well.

There is one point that shouldn't be forgotten. Chelsea has one of the best managers in the world at the moment. You saw how much the Italian national team is worth without him. And it was a much stronger team than the one he managed, almost pulling of a European title.....
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is a new concept for crypto-currency that you never heard before on: February 20, 2018, 12:53:38 PM
This explain the basic concept of the theory of RAR tokens

http://rartokens.com/blog/f/rar-tokens-theory-of-stability-for-crypto-currency

OK, if I understood correctly, you propose a stability of value in terms of stability of ratio, not in terms of stability of price.
So, when the price of one coin goes up, the price of other will go up by the same amount?
That would mean that each of the tokens could have a different person, but you could have some gain from keeping them in the same ratio.

However, it is also hard to keep this behavior as if you would for example list all three tokens, one could receive much more investments then the other and it would  be a subject to hard appreciation and inflation pressures.

P.S. Try to edit your posts and not post in succession as I believe it could provoke a ban (deliberate post count building) and it would be a pity.

Nisam fatalističan nego u svakom potezu nastojim vidjeti neku priliku.

394  Local / Altcoins (Hrvatski) / Re: Lillecoin- Lidija bačić on: February 19, 2018, 03:20:40 PM

395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is a new concept for crypto-currency that you never heard before on: February 19, 2018, 03:09:02 PM
Seems interesting. I like new concepts and I read the paper. However, I don't see a long-term sustainability here.
Based on your calculations I confirmed my thoughts on this - I thought that the only way to preserve to value is to make a bridging system and keep the surpluses of value moving around.

However, if you keep all three coins on exchanges you will automatically have a problem.

Fibonacci by itself doesn't mean anything, it is just a tool used in statistics that is kept as a norm so that all predictions can be made on the same basis. It is also calculated in such way that it can provide the most usable data. While being very handy it is not a crystal ball or a magic wand.

Value of the token, bond, coin, or whatever good is given by the rules of supply and demand. Value of a good is only as high as how much is someone willing to pay. Since there is more than one person trading with a single good, the actual value is the average of all trades made in a certain period of time. Above principle is explaining why the water is worth almost nothing while gold which has a much less usability is worth much more. Most of the people will say that the scarcity is creating the value, but it is only the most important parameter, the rest is simply "as much as anyone is willing to pay".

Hence, if you put all three of your tokens on the market they will be eligible to the rules of supply and demand and the only way to control them would be to intervene through increase/decrease of supply or trading (functioning something like a central bank). There is also a problem of the back-up. Your RAX could be backed by AVY, AVY by RAZ and RAZ by RAX, but really if the inflatory pressure would be high then they couldn't back themselves and they would need an external intervention or other back-ups like gold...... If you would put only one of the coins on the market then also eventually the supply of the two back-ups could dry out and you would have a problem.

396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes an altcoin valueable? on: February 19, 2018, 02:41:46 PM
What does "valuable" mean? Would it be a long-term usability or short-term value, or something else? I think that a good project always beats a bad one in a long run, but in the short run, things could be much different. Also, a technically good project cannot even hope to win in the long run if it has a bad marketing.

Hence I believe that the most important things are:
1. Presentation - in the short-term, presentation is everything;
2. Technology - security, scalability, methodical system,....;
3. Community - not only support from fans and investors but also people that are active and filling developers with great ideas;
4. Marketing - OK, the presentation was good, but what after that? Do you know how to get a broader audience, are you able to connect with important people from the target industries?

399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: February 19, 2018, 08:38:38 AM

I can't say that Guardiola succeeded with Manchester City because in the UCL match they have not met with other strong teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, and others. If Guardiola and Manchester City can beat all the club then I can say that Guardiola is the most successful manager in the world of football.

I wouldn't say they have not met other strong teams. What about Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea. Could you claim with certainty that those teams wouldn't be able to beat Barca, Real, Bayer and Juve?

But I am not defending Guardiola here. I am not his fan. And I am certainly not defending Manchester City.
One of the users said "of course they will spend if they want to win big"..... but there are spending and Spending. They are Spending. Their owners wanted success (and probably to launder money) over-night. The sums that the likes of PSG and Manchester City spend are ridiculous. And although I respect some of the managers (Guardiola, Mourinho) for being able to coordinate a team full of stars (each of those players would be a big star in a minor team, even those sitting on the bench or even in the stands), I still cannot consider a manager great if he never had a success with the club whose circumstances we could describe as normal or complicated.

I would enforce salary cap (not that poor attempt made by Platini) and something similar to drafting system they have in the USA. It is a great system and besides preventing money laundering and overpaid transfers it is also enabling the shift of power every few years (the team that was on the bottom has a chance to use strategy to get to the top.... in the European football that is impossible because everything is about the money). The system in the USA is not perfect - the salaries are too big with so many starving people out there, but it is much fairer and the competitions are much more interesting.
