It's awesome to see how well these cards appreciated in value. Dug out my collection a few days ago. Sitting on 50 base 5 silver 2 black and a handful of minis. I guess I'll send that couple to HGA while waiting on BGS to allow submissions again.  Those are good cards to have.. Hotbox silver especially. i would wait for PSA if you are sure they will grade well. Maybe send in through a card shop for best rate. Yeah I've got a guy I send to that submits them. He's got some setup with different color lights and cleans them up and videos me about what he thinks it'll grade. I've only got 9.5s back from him and the others he rejects just cost $3 for inspection. I do think HGA will stick around tho. I like them at least with the color match. Happy collecting! Have no fear everyone, the alt acct was to recover this account when everything was breached and is well known to mods who helped me regain access to this acct. there is a lot of white on that card's edges. at 700+ now. and it looks like a PSA 6 to me. I can't zoom in, but tons of white. |

Hey all I feel very fortunate to have a PSA 10 gold cello pack. Timelines and costs aren't a snap any longer over at PSA as most of you know. The Dolphin  Amazing man, congrats you think in time it will be like Tom Brady's rookie card. 😁 2000 don russ Brady rookie has the Psa pop report at 127. For the crypto base cards. the pop report is 381 already and i'd imagine 10x that in the pipeline. Better to compare with magic gathering, because with a player, fans will want the starting quarterback no matter what. Magic gathering rariest cards are about 250k. A quick look at the pop report (if i'm correct shows under 200 in various categories). So, the appeal will be wide i'm thinking but not as hot as Brady where the top cards get millions. Also keep in mind that there are no autos obviously. For PSA 10s---Just a wild guess that 1/1s may reach 7 figures, pop count under 10 mid-6 figures, pop 100 in 250k range, and pop 200 or less 100k. Base cards 10k as there will be many thousands of them. |

I have only seen one cello pack where the cryptocurrency card is showing the back of it and not the gold border front. My guess is it is the only one like this making it extremely rare. Not sure what you mean The card is backwards in the pack oh. ok. now i understand. you can see a bit of the second card, so you can tell. sometimes they stack them tightly and second card can't be seen. when i sell these people ask what other cards are there. i always forget. |

Congrats on the pack grade. i haven't seen those value packs for sale at all, so there may not be many more compared to other rarities of cards where packs are still floating around.
if i'm correct, the population count is 5 which puts it in rare air.
i love the unique sized slab on these as well. it really feels substantial in hand.
when did you send it to psa? maybe high school graduation and getting it now as an adult?

Overwhelmed with orders, Beckett Grading Services will temporarily stop accepting most trading card submissions next week.
Like its competitor, PSA, Dallas-based Beckett has a backlog of ungraded cards that’s so large that collectors and dealers have been waiting months for orders that used to be completed in weeks.
Beckett Collectibles President Jeromy Murray says all grading submissions other than the Premium Level service will be suspended after Monday, June 7.
