381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many whitepapers have you read thoroughly and carefully? on: April 03, 2018, 11:36:30 AM
Before investing in any projects, do you research their team information and read the whitepaper carefully? Or will you get a basic knowledge of the financial condition of the company?

I try to get the necessary knowledge about the company rather than tried to read whole of the whitepaper. But the important thing is about to understand what will be done by the company to build a good business plan.

For me, I don't need a lot of research but I try to get the hype rated from the demand of project itself. Big hype means there will be a lot of people will try to join.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Co-founders of Centra Tech arrested on: April 03, 2018, 11:07:12 AM
Centra Tech, a widely advertised ICO had it's co-founder arrested after they were trying to escape the country with collected funds.

They were successful in raising 32 millions by claiming to offer a variety of financial products, including a debit card backed by Visa and MasterCard, with which users could instantly convert cryptocurrencies into US dollars and other legal tender.

Floyd Mayweather had previously endorsed the ICO, probably a paid job.
I guess this will be happening as fast as possible. I don't like all of bullshit promises from the centra project because it was a little bit scammy when i was seeing some big promises when the crowdsale still running.
in 72 hours binance will be delisting centra from binance exchange site and look at the price of centra right now how the centra holders are rushing to sell their money as fast as possible.
383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ONT or NEO on: April 02, 2018, 10:45:57 PM
I'm only holding a few Neo (less than 5) that I bought for a little over $50 , would it be a good idea to trade some for ONT?
But why? Are you not feeling confident with your NEO? I guess ONT still on the top consider it has been getting a little pump last week ago. You can stay with your NEO for a little bit until there will be a little pump in the NEO and you can try to sell them all to buy more ONT if you can. But that depends on yourself dude. If you are believing ONT for long-term it may become a good choice.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling for a loss to buy cheaper crypto? on: April 02, 2018, 10:42:24 PM
Everyone recommends hodling but what do you think about selling cryptos at a loss to buy other cryptos for cheap? You might be able to profit from a more volatile altcoin, especially with all the big coins going down for some time now.

But then again, it might be a little late for that, what do you think?
It's too late. What will happen if the coin that you have bought it by cut loss your previous investment goes down? That's not good, never try to do that. It may better to hold your amount and then try to sell them when you can minimize your losses rather than put into another coin that still becomes speculation about how the coin will be going to.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEX ICO on: April 02, 2018, 02:32:08 PM
Ok, so I ve been selected to participate in the NEX ICO.
Now, as you may know due to market conditions NEO is lower than 50$ (which is a steal imo).
So the question is:
Would you invest the full 1k in NEX or split some of that money into (more)  NEO. ICO seems to be very popular(given City of zion is behind it and their relation to the NEO project)  and they re looking to raise "just" 25m which for a 2018 ICO is really nothing so given the hard cap of 1k$ per person to invest I could see why this could be worth much more in the future.
Never try to invest all of your money right now. You must realize about you need to keep some of your amount to be invested in a promising coin. With the latest bearish trend of crypto and i was feeling doubt about there is a lot of demand for NEX. Remember there is a competitor that already closed its ico just like switcheo and i hope you will be thinking for a twice before put all of your money in NEX.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Iota buggy? Does it have potential? on: April 02, 2018, 02:28:39 PM
Hey Guys,

I've been really excited about the potential of IOTA, but a friend of mine says it's really buggy at the moment.  Is that true?  Does it still have potential or should I stay way.
That's a buggy coin. And I was staying away from there and try to use another alternative just like byteball because that has the same system that applies DAG system. All of the buggy news about IOTA is true. It doesn't have any potential. There are some better coins. Does it make sense if you will be investing in a buggy one while you can get another non-buggy coin?
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The FBI Warns About Scams On Crypto Users on: April 01, 2018, 11:49:26 PM
where you get information about FBI statement
you can share source link, about new FBI statement
because if about money in USA not FBI but SEC
https://cointelegraph.com/news/fbi-publishes-psa-about-tech-support-fraud-targeting-cryptocurrency-holders
I give you that link, if you are watching the latest news in the various crypto news site and i think that will be so easy for you to find a reliable article like that.
It's from FBI that gives an awareness to the crypto holders to make their computer secure by download the latest software antivirus to protect their pc.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacker Returns $17m Worth of Stolen Ethereum on: April 01, 2018, 11:13:33 PM
This is a great news. I think the hacker just want the exchanger to know that there is a loophole in their system. I advice them to pay attention to their security.

I do not believe in this story. Why did the hacker wait more than a year? Why just now he decided to return the money? This news looks like a fake.

It's not yet confirmed; this is pretty weird to see someone that already done with a lot of effort to stole the funds and then he was only keeping it and returning it to the owner. Or this is just another way to make another sensation to the public to raise awareness and attention.

There is no Txid to proves it. And then this could be another manipulation even this news has come from the reliable media.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange Features - What is important? on: April 01, 2018, 11:10:46 PM
What do you look for when selecting exchanges? Presumably most people will trade on multiple exchanges, but what criteria do you use to select exchanges if the cryptocurrency you want to trade is listed on more than one exchange? Personally I would put security, liquidity and number of trading pairs as my top 3 factors to consider.
Sadly there is a limitation when I will try to choose more than 3 choices from the list.

1 Security, This to ensure all of the trader's money will be safely stored by the exchange site itself.

2 Liquidity to provide an easy way for the users to liquidate their money but significant cash means that's only applicable to the major exchange site.

3 Exchange location because this is an essential thing, anytime it can be halted by the government that against the crypto activity. And the crypto friendly country is a must.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is $900 a realistic prediction for ETH by EOY? on: April 01, 2018, 04:27:03 PM
I think that it will be a lot more than 900 USD, it may seem now unrealistic but I think ETH will be around 2k USD by the end of the year.
ends of the year is a realistic time for any major cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, Ethereum and etc for getting pump price, many investor buy in the middle - end of year, so for Ethereum going to $900 is easy.
It must be supported by so many good news and rumours before the majority of weak hands will try to buy back again and then make another FOMO to give another big waves again to the cryptocurrency.
it looks like we will need a lot of time for that. In fact that the majority of people are still thinking to buy at bottom and cutloss their investment right now.
A good news will make another FOMO. But it can't affect the trend of crypto right now.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge correction 3 months - How to invest in difficult times on: April 01, 2018, 04:16:01 PM
Most coins have lost 50 to 80% of their value, many tokens that were financed with expensive ether may now have their funding reduced due to their holdings. Do you think many of the ICOs have sold their ether and bitcoin during the last months? What other factors are making the market go steadily down?
This link will help you a lot.
https://sanbase-low.santiment.net/
Santiment base already provided a chart that will be showing how the total ethereum that still hold by the majority of ico project and how much ether already spent by them all in some periods.
Due to the tax regulation to the cryptocurrency, but i only known about the project that already sold almost all of ethereum form the crowdsale is only EOS,
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]CREDITS - New Blockchain for financial industry [15 Feb-28 Feb] on: March 06, 2018, 10:59:36 PM
It is about 70 % increased price than yesterday, what happened?

Whats happened? This coin is just launched and it have the best Transaction Per Second (TPS) of every blockchain.

Comparing:
Bitcoin: 4 TPS
Ethereum: 10 TPS
EOS: 300.000 TPS
Credits: 1.000.000 TPS

So I think it can be much higher..

In june they launch Credits.. High expectations about this coin.

Haha that's bullshit, totally SCAM

Credits CAN'T and COULDN'T handle 1000000 TPS

IOTA promised the same, how much they can handle now? 5 tps?¿  Cheesy
Even DAG system has not used the miners to validate the transaction. But it seems like neo will become another bullshit. There is a lot of things must need to be considered. DAG system with instant transaction and zero value doesn't even handle a lot of transactions in a second and i'm interested where this will be going on. Just watch the market and development progress.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does altcoin strategically and indirectly promote bitcoin price? on: March 06, 2018, 10:54:38 PM
Altoins cannot affect bitcoin's price because bitcoin has more dominance than the market, bitcoin will be the one to decide on how will these icos will do,bitcoin was the foundation and the first cryptocurrency which makes it prime that is why it is strictly recommended to have more bitcoins in your porftolio rather than just pure altcoins.
Back to your school boy, there is no bitcoin foundation. You are actually creating a big joke. bitcoin was not affected by altcoin.  Altcoin helps bitcoin to provide various market to increase its volatility.
Looks difficult to hold bitcoin to get 100x terun when you can get it in altcoin just in some days.  Altcoin provides fast pump and dump.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Today downward trend in Top 10 Coins. on: March 06, 2018, 10:49:36 PM
I have observed today there is downward trend in top 10 coins today all going down, undergoing high fluctuations.Good time to invest in some Altcoins as price is low today.Market is still in correction phase and i think it will be recovered to an extent till Jun-2018.What you think?Huh
It looks like the recent correction has reached its bottom, I guess you are right about it looks like this is the best time to buy more crypto. There will be another recover again soon but remember bitcoin down a little bit.
But i guess middle months of this year definitely become a big recover to the majority of crypto to reach ATH at the end of this year. My TA analysation has shown the same chart with last year.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto auto trading system, new way to profit from Crypto on: March 05, 2018, 09:15:24 AM
The ultimate Bitcoin and Crypto Automated Trading System! Earn stable income even when you sleep, 100% automated!

https://www.free-ats.com

is this already tested for safety? because now there are many platforms that provide auto trading but there are still many gaps that can harm the user.
Yes it is!
Is this the same as gunbot? I remember it will be useful when used to trade in the stable chart but the majority of users are worrying about if big bearish will come. Or they will be missing an opportunity in the big bullish.
For some reasons auto trade is not good anymore. But for those are having a lot of experience in trade and it can become such a useful thing.

What about the virus total result of this tool?
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am so stressful with trading coins, I lost 13000$ on: March 05, 2018, 09:12:05 AM
I'm so stupid when attending crypto currency, who can help me to get money back? I also ask many traders who has experiences in this one, but I still lost money
It looks difficult because you are loosing a lot of your money but it seems you are doing a wrong way dude. The possible thing for you to gain your money back through doing ico trade. But what have done by you before?
It seems you are not doing TA and FA to give any support for your trade activity. Looks so difficult to get your money back again. You must do perfect trade for that.
STOP it and move to the longterm investment.
397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins brought you massive losses? on: March 05, 2018, 09:09:27 AM
Dear bitcoin community,

Because there are no gains without losses, I decided to open this thread in the hope that I could also learn from your mistakes when you chose the wrong coins in which to invest your money.

For example, I invested in December 2017 and I lost my money in following coins:

Bitcoin
Ethereum
Ripple
Bitcoin Cash
Dogecoin
IOTA
NEM

The only coin that brought me profit was NEO.

But what about you? What are the coins in which you lost your money?

It seems you have been investing your money at peak, i'd not be surprised to see you have been loosing a lot of your money. I was loosing my money in iconomi because i was making a wrong decision about to bought so many coin at peak but after the developer was changing the business plan and then a lot of people are pushing their money to another project and that makes me lost more tha 80%. But i was never making any wrong way again after that.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple on Coinbase? on: March 04, 2018, 11:58:50 PM
http://www.globalcryptopress.com/2018/03/coinbase-and-ripples-ceo-to-appear-on.html

Is it time for those rumors again? Smiley

Is that reason price is rising atm?
I give you a clue about the valid reason about that. As long as coinbase is not added ripple api to the platform and coinbase will never try to listed ripple in the coinbase platform. I was experiencing with bitcoin cash and after coinbase added bitcoin cash api and then some days later coinbase started to open the service for bitcoin cash.
It's just another rumour and doesn't believe it.
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: March 04, 2018, 11:53:00 PM
Its not yet clear if and when Exchanges will announce Calisto support.
Bittrex has been giving a chance to the developer but it seems the bittrex will not be listed CLO in the bittrex platform. Binance seems to be another major option for bittrex but yobit will be accepted CLO support instantly.
 Cool

My opinion is ETC will recover its price to 35-36 very fast after CLO hardfork. This moment price have drop because pump and dump team, they pumped ETC to 45-46 and then dump it...
Or even worst than it, How NXT gets dumped more than 90% just in some days after the snapshoot already taken.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you join ICOs that requires KYC? on: March 01, 2018, 02:35:21 PM
ICOs only require KYCs for investors with amounts of money higher than 10 ETH. The majority of bounties with bounty hunters do not need KYC. Because they just need KYCs who own a large number of tokens because they are afraid of impacting the ICO rate when they sell or buy large amounts of Token.
That depends on the ico agreement itself. Some projects are putting around 10 ethereum for minimum investment to apply KYC for those are investing around 10 ethereum or more. But in another project i was seeing so many projects are using KYC as a mandatory to the every ico participant. Not all of ICOs applied that agreement.
