Yes, you may.

Bitcoin scammers are flooding now. Each market seems to be saturated with scammers...no place for legitimate people. That's why I only go for deals with dealers owning a trusted website else Localbitcoins.

funny how nothings changes right ?
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where and what did you just buy with your Bitcoins? on: August 29, 2014, 04:22:57 PM

I know. He said that directly to me three years ago and that fat latte drinking fucker still clipped me for 200 coins. I was sucked in by his attempt to be legit and taking all the reporting documents from people. Oh well, water under the bridge now I suppose.

Crazy.  200 coins I would hire my own person mercenary to "take care of" the fat fucker. Right, Roger Vers  " the books are fine" didn't help. Sorry to hear that.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin Scamming Business is Booming! on: August 29, 2014, 03:30:08 PM
So is the fiat scamming business....particularly the banks & credit card companies who are getting away with it daily. What's your point?

Nobody said fiat isn't in the business of scamming. Can you point to where anyone said the same thing doesn't happen in fiat?

Point is Bitcoin is just as good for scamming as fiat.

Scammers handbook, take advantage of those in the most need.

People making threads about a scam?  Must mean that a lot of people are being scammed and need a new product/service to replicate the scamming service.  Rinse, repeat, until we are all back to using just Mt Gox for the final end all scam to Bitcoin when we are had again.

How prophetic BitcoinPorn was. Scary stuff about what he said about Mt. Cocks.

You're not really a fully-fledged member of the bitcoin community unless you've been scammed at least once.

Legendary members should be super-rich already. I don't think that they have any need to participate in sig campaigns...
Actually that is where you are very wrong.
Most of the older members do not hold as much as we tend to think.

How many years until become legend?  Grin
It takes about 2 and a half years of being active if you're lucky.

Also congratulations OP, and you just failed hard with that 'image'.  Cheesy

I did fail pretty bad at that haha Tongue
392  Other / Off-topic / Re: My Bitcointalk Status is Now Legendary on: August 28, 2014, 05:03:56 AM
I bow down to you sir!

I would personally like to see a special rank for members who have a fixed very high activity level, maybe at 1,000 activity instead of somewhat of a random level starting at 730

Thanks! Tongue

My activity is off the charts!  Shocked
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you name your baby Satoshi for 150 bitcoins? on: August 28, 2014, 05:02:36 AM
The webpage is down... so I don't know how serious they are.

Back to the topic, I think millions of people will queue up if this much amount is offered. BTC150 is equivalent to $77,000+ at today's exchange rate. And even in western nations, people are producing babies to claim just $5,000 or $6,000 in child benefits.
Lol. You must be from Australia

Actually he is from Russia. But that is not the point. This name is not that bad compared to some random bullshit names people are giving to their children for free all the time. I won't have children but if I would I will take that offer for sure.

Like North West or Apple.

How can we make sure its one vote for one  person ?  Linking a SSN to a private key would work for voting in an actual gov run poll but on a website like reddit I'm not sure how we can stop double-voting. IP is not a good idea either (Nat)

Yes, this is the key question. I'm assuming it can be turned off or on if the creator of the poll wants that but still needs to have to have a 1 vote for 1 vote system.  SSN to a private key might work yes.

OK, the fact that his pledge ends in 10 months should say all that needs to be said.

Maybe it would be her birthday or something. Anyway its pretty weird project but some if crazy people donate to be godfathers and this happen for real imagine the news "Couple name their Child Satoshi Bitcoin" , "First Bitcoin Baby" etc

I am pretty surprised most people answer so easily yes. Would you like everybody to know that you name your kid Satoshi Bitcoin? Your face and your kid face will be everywhere its not so simple!

But how does he know it's a girl if it hasn't even been conceived?

Who is to say Satoshi Bitcoin is a girl or boy's name?
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you name your baby Satoshi for 150 bitcoins? on: August 26, 2014, 06:34:54 PM
Its Satoshi and middlename Bitcoin. If it succeeds their names will be everywhere and media coverage will be huge! Thats is the only reason i wouldn't do it imagine the publicity! Satoshi Bitcoin baby everywhere Cheesy

CNN would report on it!  Grin

"Goal: 150.00000000 Ƀ
Nobody pledged so far"

Sums it up for me.
Not even a few bitcents lol
398  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Even us *legendary* members were *newbies* once on: August 20, 2014, 05:32:36 PM
So we've all noticed the new "legendary member" status - just a post to say to all "newbies" that even us "legendary members" were also newbies once and also understand that as accounts are *sold* here don't think that just because a forum member appears to be "legendary" doesn't mean they couldn't actually be a scammer.

Before you *trust* any forum member you'd be best to check that member's posting history and also their reputation (and no - my account is not for sale).

THis is correct. I miss the newb days Smiley

400  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTClegacy ? on: August 19, 2014, 12:17:07 AM
Anyone heard of these guys before?

https://www.btclegacy.com/?ref=mmyrtle

Can't till if legit or a scam. Anyone tried it ?

It's 100% a scam/ponzi. At the rates listed on their site, if you invested 1 Bitcoin at a 5% interest rate daily you should expect an 18.25 BTC return in a year.

Thanks for the heads up. Seems about right.
