i've been trying to connect to the mooncoin network for the past two days... last time i waited for a couple hours until i finally got 1 connection. but this is just ridickiulus anynyone else have this problem? In the wallet go to "Help", then "Debug window" and then choose the tab "Console". In the command-line enter this: addnode moonchain.net add You can also try these: addnode 5.45.105.66 add addnode aikapool.com add addnode moon.bitember.com add Those are addresses of Mooncoin-pools, which should be reachable at any time, in order to send a current list of other nodes to your wallet. moonchain.net is the address of the Mooncoin block-explorer, which is an always-on address, too.

Wallet yet?
there will never be a new wallet. The old developer is gone. Without a new wallet cryptsy will not be able to deposite and withdraw. So welcome to invest on this dead coin P.S. : the wallet in used today was released 3/2014 . Use at your own risk peme and Titan are still investigating. Be patient, since there are several open questions left.

I think that all are waiting for cryptsy...
So I ask in Cryptsy chat what's going on with the mooncoin wallet and when is it coming back online? Someone there says that the devs have left the coin so they guess never. In the meantime the price is going up on the Cryptsy exchange. Can anyone tell me what is actually going on. The coin seems to be trading on all exchanges like bleutrade and allcrypt with no problems, yet cryptsy claims wallet issues. Can anyone enlighten me on all this ? Are there still devs for the coin ? First of all, trollboxes on any exchange are one of the worst sources of information you can have. Second: who told that? Third, Cryptsy seems to be the biggest problem with what is happening with Mooncoin at the moment, as they obviously don't want to cooperate with peme, who is Mooncoin's new dev. Mooncoin's legendary original creator deaconboogie unfortunately left the ship long ago. See here for more information: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=389403.msg9456299#msg9456299. There has been a huge theft of many Mooncoins recently and it has to be found out how this was possible, as well as how to return the coins to their rightful owners. A big part of the problem is Cryptsy at the moment, because they don't communicate with the right people (peme). Titan, the dev of Luckycoin is involved in the investigations, but since it is a really difficult task, we all will have to be patient, until they have solid results. If you'd like to know more, just check out the recent posts in this thread - or ask peme. He tried to get in contact with Cryptsy numerous times regarding the theft, but they don't answer, respectively seem to ignore his role as the new dev, which is slowing down the investigation and finding a solution significantly.

addnode=198.50.148.134 addnode=107.150.38.154 addnode=198.27.80.162 addnode=162.243.57.246 addnode=24.182.115.122 addnode=178.33.116.119 addnode=188.165.2.147
Wallet sync complete . Thanks for nodes Hi, What rpcport= number did you use, trying to sync Thank You You don't need any RPC-port-related settings in the mooncoin.conf If you really need to create a mooncoin.conf, ONLY use addnodes. Even better, add the nodes via the console.

If MOON hits 11-10 Litoshis or lower, then I'll throw a few Litecoins at it.
Yea, could be nice dead cat bounce. Mooncoin was no dead cat yet and will never be.

No, not really.

Btw: The above advice applies to many other - if not all - coins also. There are many "sample-configs" in the forums, that get copied and pasted without thinking and knowing, what the settings are about. And sample-settings like username=any / password=somepassword obviously aren't very secure, if not changed/replaced by safe ones. All this will most probably only affect people who use their wallets to solo-mine into it directly, because you need an RPC-connection for that. But better safe than sorry, if you - for example - simply copied and pasted a configuration for adding peers, to make your wallet connect (faster) and also copied the not necessary lines, without knowing, what they do to your system.

I know this is an older post but this seems very odd. A majority of the larger block rewards are going to this address and orphans of these larger block rewards are showing up in the bitember pool. The block explorer is showing these orphans going to 2QgWwFic9H45Waeac7Gr4iveRp8UUuPAy8. When I try to search this address on the moonchain.net the block explorer just hangs. Long Live Moon coinflow if i put this addres 2QgWwFic9H45Waeac7Gr4iveRp8UUuPAy8 into moonchain.net it breaks
try it....
Can we know how much mooncoins has this address?? We could imagine the dump when cryptsy moonwallet gets back
This is the problematic address, that belongs to a miner, who is cheating with a script, mining only the big rewarded blocks, by tuning in with big hashing power only for those. This is the reason, why we need to make the change to static/fixed block rewards. At the moment Mooncoin still has a random reward-scheme. moonchain.net can display ALL transactions of addresses, but it nearly takes forever for addresses with so many single transactions. Probably the power of the server should be upgraded. You can check here, as an alternative, but it only shows the last 1000 transactions (which is standard for a normal ABE-installation, too): http://www.multifaucet.tk/index.php?blockexplorer=MOON&address=2QgWwFic9H45Waeac7Gr4iveRp8UUuPAy8Hence it doesn't put such a heavy load on the server, like showing all of the ~198000 tx's of that address, as moonchain.net tries to do.

wow, will moon go more down than 30? Then the next support-level would be 20, again. But could be still in the upward-trend then, or maybe go into sideways. Could be that it goes to ~26-30, if the 40-support does not hold. If you connect the lowest levels of the uptrend so far and draw it further in time, then the line would pass that range. What do you think?

If anyone wants to mine MOON, then the time is now. Because of the low difficulty of only 13-15 at the moment.

Anything new about the wallet (staking)?

Today i bought another 300 million... The understimated coin how many total coins you got now ? 30 billions ? Will you commit suicide if it go down to 2 lithoshi again ? I'd say, that would be the chance of the lifetime for investors, to buy up a big stash of cheap Mooncoins.

Yes Im not in a hurry, the 25 of December i'll go on Holidays, and i'll be very disconnected from bitcointalk, cryptsy, etc... i'll come back 17 of january! They aren't long term investor.... Is it a possibility that Cryptsy loaded them walls up??? I can only see them doing that, especially with the amount of Moon they have... Really good question. EDIT: Maybe we should use another exchange (see my signature), to try, what happens?
