381  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: December 25, 2015, 11:48:47 AM
Why not both? Definitely both of them still being uses, but saving my money in bitcoin wallet is a good investment for my future..

I would only bother with banks when dealing with fiat because basically there isn't any other way to do it. Sure you can buy a robust safe and get your cash stored on there but seriously what's the point, when you need to buy something you are going to need to have it in your bank account anyway, unless you buy everything locally which is very limiting.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's going to be the next big Bitcoin announcement? on: December 25, 2015, 11:46:42 AM
I would like that the improvements in privacy keep happening. I was very excited to see confidential transactions when they were released, but apparently Gmaxwell has stopped working on Bitcoin? or that's what i've read, it's a shame. Well I hope someone keep pushing on the right direction..
383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hahaha. Bitcoin barely went up this holiday season on: December 25, 2015, 01:21:26 AM
Everyone thought it'd make a 700 dollar mark because people tend to buy things during this season.

How sad.

"Everyone" proves you are a troll. Also there's 0 logic in thinking the price would go up because people sell. Most people still sell for cash to buy stuff so the price go down if anything. Anyway, let's see if you are still FUDing in 6 months, that'll be fun.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't let bitcoin overtake your soul on: December 25, 2015, 12:59:29 AM
Mining is exactly the same as gambling, except that the guys that came first have way more lottery tickets than you, you should know that unless you have other source of income, mining would never be a stable job unless you are really big in the game.
385  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: December 25, 2015, 12:50:58 AM
I heard a site called Xotika.tv where many new cam shows are being hosted recently. You all can have fun there. Smiley
But for porns, I don't think anybody will ever pay for it as anyone can get it for free now and all of them are in HD qualities. Wink

It's a different market. You get personalized services and not just generic pr0n.

Also, I like xotika.tv. It is fun to interact with the girls and spend a few bits. They also have a very decent (and fair) sig campaign going on last I heard.

I have never bothered with tipping to girls in the regular cam sites like myfreecams and stuff because it's too much work, but I may do this with BTC since it's way more convenient, just for the sake of doing it. I never understood why people tip real money tho as in big quantities. Sometimes it's hilarious to see some rich guy tipping a lot of cash and seeing the girls go nuts and everyone in the comments. I guess they get a kick from that.
386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: December 23, 2015, 05:17:39 PM
Still i don't have any bad experience with gambling luckily i got recovered what i had lost now i am playing on gambling site with little amount to just have fun there not to make big fortune.

you are very lucky person, just dont be greedy one day if you feel you are good and want to earn money fast.
just because you always recovering the lost.
still gambling is a bad way to earn, losing money is the only exit way from gambling.
luck is every thing in gambling
never feel greedy ,when you feel greedy you will lose all

Sometimes it's good to go to the end and try to be greedy to get some real life changing money, but I would limit myself in the times I do this. I think if you contain yourself too much, you will end up going on a gambling spree. It's better to do some super risky moves from time to time to get it out of your system.

Apparently Bank of America no longer wants my business. They are closing all my accounts because I put too much money in them from poker???

This guy is a legend and he has made so much money that his bank wants to take it all lol. If only he was aware about Bitcoin, he could be playing for Bitcoin and dealing with his own money gains directly instead of thought banks.
388  Economy / Economics / Re: Reuters:"2016 could prove to be the year that the price of bitcoin surges again" on: December 23, 2015, 05:12:00 PM
2016 is the year where the biggest bull we've ever seen makes an appearance in Bitcoin. Everything is looking freaking fantastic, and it seems that mainstream media is slowly picking up with what's actually up, I've already seen some mainstream publications questioning private blockchains as something worth anyones money.
389  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: December 23, 2015, 04:58:37 PM
Nope, for as long as governments and corporate companies are in control of the main currency, fiat will never be worthless. As long as bitcoin hasn't adapted all over the world and you are not able to pay with it everywhere, we're all still going to need fiat.

That statement is not correct.
Currencies have shown to be worthless hundreds of times over the centuries it existed.A currency which can't buy you a loaf of bread is worthless!! And even then you can't use it as fuel "because goat shit burns better", Andreas Antonopoulos would say! Cheesy
No currency ever was able to hold it's purchasing power and therefore crashed at the end.The system has collapsed.
And then it starts all over again. With a new currency. And this cycle repeats again and again.

If you don't have fiat to compare bitcoin to, how would you know how much bitcoin would be worth? You wouldn't know that the bitcoin would be worth $10.000 at that moment. You're still going to need fiat if the world did not adapt to bitcoin yet, you're still going to need fiat to pay for you loaf of bread. So explain again why fiat would be worthless?
If for some reason the dollar completely dissapeared and it wasn't a valid token to edge other stuf fagainst anymore, it wouldn't matter, we still have a million other ways to find a price, the most immediate would be to compared Bitcoin to gold instead of USD, and we would still have EUR and CNY.
390  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - 2016 on: December 23, 2015, 04:53:44 PM
Everything is looking fantastic. We are making progress and consensus is being built in how to scale the system. Spare the random XT trolls and people obsessed with huge blocks, most people seem to be coming together into a better way to do this without centralizing nodes. 2016 is probably the bulliest year ever for Bitcoin.
391  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign for Jr. Member? on: December 23, 2015, 04:51:03 PM
Don't expect anything that comes close to an "income" unless you are Hero or Legendary to be honest, but it's still a good way to get started with your first satoshis, certainly better than a faucet which is the ultimate timewaster. You should improve your English grammar tho, or find a campaign which has a service for your native language. Good luck in your Bitcoin quest.
392  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Honest BitCoin mixing service on: December 23, 2015, 04:48:39 PM
The fundamental flaw on mixing services is that they are all centralized, meaning that you have to trust them, this is backwards when it comes to the main point of BTC which is a trustless, so the next step is integrated Coinjoin in all wallets, guaranteeing easy and decentralized mixing by default.
393  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Is 0.12 already out? on: December 22, 2015, 06:20:58 PM
I have seen some guys here talking about 0.12 as if it was already released, but in the official website is not there. I am guessing they got it from somewhere else as a non official final release. If so, where can I test the up and coming versions even if they aren't final (posted in Bitcoin.org)?
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Upgraded to 0.12 now RPC calls giving 401 Unauthorized on: December 22, 2015, 06:17:30 PM
Wait, 0.12 is already out? I've just tried going into Bitcoin.org and the version availible to download is still 0.11.2 so im pretty confused... also in the "News" section above in this forum it still says Bitcoin Core: 0.11.2? Are you talking about some sort of RC version? (release candidate)
395  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Should I choose random faucet drips or average? on: December 22, 2015, 06:14:33 PM
In faucets that let me, should I choose to be always paid in average drip amount or random?

It's like playing the lottery, if you do random you may make it bigger, average is constant but no excitement of ever getting a bigger amount. I would say go random since faucets are a bit of a waste of time in my opinion anyway, at least past the newbie stage.
396  Economy / Economics / Re: Oil Prices Slump to 11-Year Lows in Asia and Europe on: December 22, 2015, 06:13:20 PM
Yes, it's really stunning when you think about it that one BTC is worth more than 11 barrels of oil. Hey, I'm a longtime BTC supporter, but I think oil should be more valuable. It's just more useful, and you don't even need the Internet to use it.

That's pretty subjective. For someone with an electric car oil is pretty useless, and Bitcoin is way more useful, and the trend is we will see less and less oil usage because oil kills the environment, we will use electric cars instead. Bitcoin is clean and we will see more and more usage as oil deprecates.
397  Other / Politics & Society / Re: EU = stupid on: December 22, 2015, 06:11:19 PM
The governments and powers that be in general are going to keep pushing an agenda to ban anything that may be a challenge against the status quo, and in the long term they know the potential of Bitcoin to disrupt this hegemony, so I think it will only get worse.
398  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Say goodbye to decentralization on: December 22, 2015, 06:08:26 PM
We have been throught this before and nothing seems to happen, it eventually evens it out as time progresses, but there is a clear group of 3 - 4 max miner companies that have most of the hashrate. Unfortunately I can't think of any solution to this, and satoshi predicted mining specialization too.
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why no any block get mined in last 43 minutes+ on: December 22, 2015, 06:06:12 PM
I think block is mined every 10 minute but when i see https://blockchain.info/ , no block has been found in last 40+ minutes.
I have checked it after my transaction don't get confirmed in 15+ minute. Quite irritating  Huh

Check other websites, https://blockchain.info/ has been known to be not very reliable, I personally still use it because im used to the layout and can't find any other site that looks that good, but the data sometimes it's lagged or incorrect.
400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: December 21, 2015, 02:45:56 PM
If you know how to deal with loses and don't have a compulsive personality you can make pretty good gains, but most people get caught in the feeling of greatness that you get after nailing a good debt, you feel like a god that can't fail and want more, then you end up lossing it all.
