381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2017, 07:22:16 PM
Bitcoin is the future of money, or so they say.

I would like to hear your opinions on Why should people use Bitcoin?

in the age of the internet is paper iou's really the best we as the human race can do,  obviously not, bitcoin has arrived.

People should use bitcoin because it's the latest service that will provide us faster transaction. This currency is reaching beyond all our expectations. Nowadays, people use bitcoin as a new payment method. It is more convinient. It will also have a great potential in the future
Faster transaction? you must be kidding. Bitcoin are useful because the price of this coin keep rises every years and most of all because all altcoins using bitcoin to be pair in exchanges. So bitcoin is very important to cryptos world. Else from that bitcoin just an coin. Nothing special except buy and sell as it already recognize by all peoples in the world.
Because the main of reason make many people become the user of Bitcoin is they want to make money from Bitcoin through trading. They do not care the Bitcoin function can gives us what benefits! Therefore, I have said Bitcoin can not become the primary currency or payment method when its user still keep that opinion.
382  Economy / Economics / Re: What would benefit bitcoin more? on: October 17, 2017, 07:19:36 PM
Things that can increase the benefits of Bitcoin is legalization and acceptance of Bitcoin by countries around the world, especially the developed countries. this will surely boost the popularity and the value of Bitcoin and massive adoption that will occur in the country. because its popularity will bring in more new users who will maintain Bitcoin.
It seems to me that the great popularization of Bitcoin will really benefit the Crypto-currency. But users will be able to attract more investment and this will be of interest to all governments of developing countries. Thus, it is possible to fill the state budget and thereby raise the country's economy.
Really? If the government can not tax the cryptocurrency users, what is the benefit they earn from crypto? Yeah, nothing for the country's economy, even you can see Japan, till today they still have many troubles after accepted Bitcoin.
383  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: October 15, 2017, 06:20:48 PM
I believe that using one currency will not change anything. The poor will have less money, but the rich have more. Simply, the currency will be replaced, but the possibility of earning will not change.
But beside that, when we using one currency for the worldwide, we will have some troubles about the economy and finance for every country. We use many currencies because it can creates economic competition and makes poor countries need to improve more if do not want abandoned Smiley.
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: October 15, 2017, 06:14:27 PM
Most people are already buying food and drinks with it, including myself.  Wink ... We have Bitcoin meetups at my local pub, and we buy beer

and food every time and we pay with Bitcoin. I also buy fast food at food vendors who accepts Bitcoin in my area. The problem in my

opinion is the legislation, where is some countries Bitcoin is not seen as a currency.  Angry

I also buy food, drinks and family purposes from my work from bitcoin. I have to exchange bitcoin to the currency in my country, because in my country there is no store that received payment with bitcoin.
Even you can use Bitcoin to purchase anything, do you want to spend a lot of money to pay the transaction fee and wait more 15 minutes for your transaction get confirm? Bitcoin is good for investment, but it is not useful when you use it for real-life or daily with current function of Bitcoin.
385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: October 15, 2017, 06:11:20 PM
BTC grows while holding it that is the best way to do or you can risk it by trading it or joining an ICO which sometimes gives big return.
Yeah, if you are a risk taker you can do gambling, investing and trading to grow your bitcoin. But by holding it in a long time is a good way and a safe way. You can just earn bitcoin by joining some signature campaign, social media campaign, or maybe try to search some site that giving free coins.
Of course, holding bitcoin for longer period of time is a proven method to be profitable, however it's best if we also have other means where we can also make income at a short period of time or regularly if possible. While investing or holding your bitcoins you can benefit from your action of monitoring the market because any time you can take advantage of the asset which has a potential of short term trade, especially in the situation when there is a panic selling.
A holder always passive in the market, therefore, when the price of Bitcoin has many volatilities, its can not has good price to take profits if the price of Bitcoin falls down. That is the problem when you become holder and you will miss a lot of opportunities to take extra profits.
386  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 millon for a Bitcoin is this fiction or reality? on: October 13, 2017, 03:29:19 PM
Well the fact it hasn't happened yet shows that it's fiction. And realistically the likelihood if it ever happening is minute at best, that isn't to say however that it can't happen. It would just require everything to go pretty much perfectly in terms of bitcoin progression and adoption.

I'm pretty sure it WILL happen, though I doubt any of us would be alive by then.
Haha, I think we can not have time to see the price of Bitcoin reaches to this target. 1 million dollars for 1 Bitcoin is possible, but important, Bitcoin needs to has a lot of time to develop and grow. Beside that, the government still have not any decision for Bitcoin, we need to wait their decision to see the next move of Bitcoin.
387  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: October 13, 2017, 03:24:56 PM
Everyone dreamed of getting wealthy who can do anything at all out of the richness. Nevertheless not everybody is fortunate adequate to turn out to be wealthy. Occasionally, we just depart it to God or leave it to luck. Every day is constantly a battle and aspiring to turning into rich is receiving challenging everyday as the commodities are also likely so quick.
Those that become rich did not become like that through luck, while luck is of great help, they have a plan and most of the time they follow it and in case something is wrong with the plan they are able to make adjustments and change it accordingly, you need to begin to plan to become rich, as I’m in this forum I think I do not surprise anyone if I tell you that bitcoin is a great part of my small plan to become wealthy.
Yeah, and in order to get something big you have to take a bigger risk. Early adopter take a great risk and they can reap the result right now. We are planning to become rich by buying bitcoin early before bitcoin popularity explode and insitution money coming in.
You want to make a huge of profits, you need to try a high risk too, this is the rule of the marketplace. In the market, we have not the tolerance, all investors are equal and have same opportunity, but your decision will dicide your profits in future.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBILEGO Crowdfund [$53 Million] - Decentralized Mobile Gaming Solutions on: October 13, 2017, 03:18:06 PM
I still wait the price of MobileGo token drop down to below $0.1 Roll Eyes. If next time its price can drop down to this price, I will buy a lot of tokens and hold in my bags. Honestly, I have see this thread has too many people hate this token and want to leave. But thank you, I want to buy a token has more people want to leave it while it has a potential for long term as MGO. I'm waiting to see the time MGO come back like Monaco did recently Tongue
389  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: October 12, 2017, 08:47:21 PM
very bad where the level of corruption is still very high from the official, the applicable law can not make them deterrent, other problems are uneven economic levels and dependence on imported products. Bitcoin will be the answer and improvement of the fate of some people who are harmed by government injustice.
Really? I think after the government of your country accept Bitcoin, it will help them have more chances to corrupt. Because the transaction of Bitcoin network can not track the source or who send that amount!
390  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: October 12, 2017, 08:43:43 PM
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much
I think the price can go a lot higher than that, but I disagree with the number of hard forks, we are getting a lot of hard forks now, but I think that as bitcoin becomes faster and cheaper the hunger for hard forks is going to go down and the existing forks are going to disappear.
The transaction hash of Bitcoin will confirm fast more if Bitcoin has more people become miner and support it. I think not only the algorithm will help Bitcoin solve this issue, we still need more worker to help Bitcoin.
391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: October 12, 2017, 08:41:30 PM
I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?

HODL!! all the way. You will lose more money trying to beat the market if you have no clue what you are doing.
If you have no clue what are you doing, stop all and do not continue to trading or invest. I do not think you will have profits after invested while you can not understand your decision. Finally, only you become loser and others will get profits from you.
392  Economy / Speculation / Re: how to predict bitcoin price increase or decrease? on: October 12, 2017, 08:40:08 PM
We see sometimes bitcoin price increase or decrease. How I can predict whether bitcoin price increase or decrease.Again, who controll this price.I appreciate if you kindly share your experience.

Actually mate, bitcoin price cannot be predicted even the most big holder of coin, they cannot say today bitcoin will rise up or go down because bitcoin depends to the demand of it, the more people that access it or buy it means it has lot of chance to go higher value.

Can anyone could have predicted that bitcoin will reach all time high in this week. No one could have thought this could have happen so quick. This is the uncertainty with bitcoins. It go up and down unexpected and fastly.
No one can controls the price of Bitcoin or predict exact next its trend. But it does not mean a group or rich company can not do that, a whale group can become the mover the price of any cryptocurrency, even they can co-operate with owner exchange.
393  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will it fall? on: October 12, 2017, 08:36:39 PM
I think the current situation already tells that we are going in an uptrend before the fork.  I also believe that Bitcoin price keep on increasing until the last day of fork because speculative investor think that they will get a good profit from the minor chain once the fork is done.  This is, I think, the main reason why Bitcoin has suddenly an fast increase in price this two days.
No, we do not have to wait until the fork comes to be able to see the price fall. yeah for now the price is rising but bitcoin prices can go down because in my opinion we are new just above the level of $ 5000.
The price of Bitcoin has continue the bullish trend and breakout $5,400 but I also have thought like you, the price of Bitcoin still needs to confirm its value at least in one day. I think current value of Bitcoin just by the fearing of missing out created on the market.
394  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the week we see the $4500? on: October 11, 2017, 08:43:10 PM
It will probably happen in the next days before friday, we might see a good pump tomorrow that is Monday, usually all markets go up on monday because of the inactivity during the weekend. So i think that we are facing a bullish trend in the next days, and we have broken the $4500 support barrier, and this mean that $5000 is very close at the moment.
We can expect everything in the next days.

price 4500USD has passed and now bitcoin prices are already above 4600USD. we just wait for the price of bitcoin can exceed 5000USD. I also believe that this will happen for the next few days. stable price increase of bitcoin and now often get positive sentiment to make increasing opportunities bigger.
It is increasing, but we have many orders at $4,800 and it seems a lot of traders do not want Bitcoin can breakout $5,000 again. But maybe, it is still a big trap order sell and make us think Bitcoin can not breakout $5,000.
395  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: October 11, 2017, 08:36:12 PM
I also did it some time ago where I showed two of my classmates my bitcoin wallet then the amount inside it as well as its price in my local currency and as usual they get curious too and asked how is it considered as a money or how it can used to buy some stuffs and how can I convert it into cash . I explained to them how can bitcoin works and how it can be used as a medium of exchange or payment, why it has a value and lastly how am I earning it .
I limitedly spread my knowledge about bitcoin because i think if the numbers of bounty hunters are getting high the possibility that you can get a high stakes is getting low.

If you want to get a high stakes in a bounty campaign, you need work hard for it. Also, if people get into bitcoin, you don't have to worry about your stakes since they will not join your bounty campaign but the forum. We are talking about bitcoin and not your stakes on the bounty campaign.
The stake system of bounty campaign still depends on the ranking of your account. But in this forum, we have some managers do not care this issue much. They also do not limits and make more difference between high ranking members and low ranking members. Example Sylon is one of manager has not much changes rates between hero member and full member, but this is jamal, you will see Hero can x3 stake per week if compare to full member Smiley
396  Economy / Economics / Re: why is it so hard to buy bitcoin on: October 10, 2017, 11:51:53 AM
I don't think one will consider it hard to get, except if u want to remain anonymous. If u are ready for verifications u can always get bitcoin except if u are from China

Yap, those exchanges that are requiring identifications can trust you now to buy bitcoins whenever you want. But if you are using a shitty exchange like yobit then you'll really have trouble for purchasing your bitcoins. And not only bitcoin is the one that's having problem there and also many coins. Not only with the deposits but mostly with the withdrawals.

Make life more simple and less complicated.
Why bother to buy those exchanges if you don't like the way they manage?
Just buy to trusted sites like bittrex and etherdelta so you can transact with no hassle.
And you'll not be worried to transact here as many users trade here and they cater a lot of coins.
I agree with you i personally think that it is not that hard to buy bitcoin because of the price it could be but with so many exchanges around the world you can not even know which one to trust so i would suggest to you choose blockchain.
This is quite true that it is difficult to buy yourself some good amount of bitcoins just for the sole reason that the prices are quite high. The other reason is that no one is ready enough to sell them and you need to search for some of the best sites for sake of earning more and more collecting them into your wallets. I personally use the blockchain and investment system to increase my and Btc growth as well.
No one want to sell Bitcoin with cheap price, therefore if you want to buy Bitcoin when it become rare more, you need to spend a lot of money and increase your bid. We are a large community, I do not think nobody can not sell Bitcoin if you want to buy it, of course, unless your bid is bad.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: October 10, 2017, 11:48:39 AM
Bitcoin is difficult to explain. I also felt difficulties in understanding bitcoin for the firs time. Let's share how to explain bitcoin to children of teenagers. In My country I can say 98% children don't know bitcoin. In fact, bitcoin can be future money. If the children not familiar with cryptocurrency or bitcoin, how can they face the digital era in the future.
well, i agree with you that it's  quite diffiicult to explain Bitcoin. Here my country maximum number of people unkown to Bitcoin. We can explain bitcoin to teenagers through few question such as firstly we need to tell them what's bitcoin? how is it work? what should we do with bitcoin? as well as we can show them some video which related to bitcoin & we can find it from youtube.
What is Bitcoin? How is it work? These question they can find through Google Seach, present is the 21st century, I do not think they can not find these basic knowledge through Google. If they really can not do that, I think they should not never try invest into Bitcoin.
398  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: October 10, 2017, 11:46:25 AM
I first got bitcoin from withdrawing from gambling sites.  I deposited with another method but could withdraw bitcoin so i did it.  Around that time bitcoin was around $220 usd or so and when i got it, i would then trade it for poker funds from other person etc because I didn't want to hold the bitcoins due to reading about price fluctuations.  However, isn't the value of bitcoin almost always going to go up so its best to hold it?  I know last year it was $600 and the highest was when it was more than $1000 per bitcoin.  But since it is all the way down to $200-$300, isn't having bitcoin always good?  Could bitcoin go all the way to 0 soon?  I had thought hey if you get bitcoin when its $230 when the price stayed like that for a long time, thats great b/c very hard for it to go below $200 because i haven't seen that.  But even if it does, isn't it almost always going to rebound and go back up?  Last time i had btc and it was $230 or so and now it went up to $260.  So if you have say 100 bitcoins... well... thats a nice $3000 profit or so.

I'm sure there are ppl that have thousands or bitcoins right and just hold on to it?  And many that would sell btc immediately if prices go all the way up?  If someone had say 500 bitcoin... then btc price went up $20 in say a week or so... selling it would net them $10000 minus fees right?  However if they sell it via localbitcoins or other method, they are going to get a higher profit right?  However if they do this, say sold all their 500 btc... then once bitcoin later in the year go up another $50... well that would be $25000 less they would have earned.

In general, isn't holding BTC always a good thing since the price of it is pretty low now?  Obviously if you bought btc at $600 or $1000 and thought it would went up and held on to your btc, that would been a disaster.  But since its in the $200-$300 range, isn't having BTC always good?
2017 is a crazy year for bitcoin. Who ever expected bitcoin to rise dramatically above $4000 in just a matter of months?! So I guess some of you who kept your bitcoin from the time this thread was created may already be cruisin around the world right now  Wink
But I would say that it is still wise to invest in bitcoin because it will continue on rising in the coming years...gutt feeling... Cheesy

Yeah since the beginning of this year we have seen massive growth in the price of bitcoins and nobody thought that price will achieve such new heights and we can expect the same growth in coming years too so I don't see any risk in investing in bitcoins even at current price as in long run price will surely go higher.
No no, you have to remember if the whales want to make a huge profits from the cryptocurrency world, they need to spend a lot of money to pump the value of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies first. Then, when most of the trader are think the crypto world is the best way to make money and put all money into this field, that is the best time they take profits and withdrawal to FIAT Wink
399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: October 10, 2017, 11:43:18 AM
The utrust coin can be exchanged for purchase or kept for long term and what is good is what will take value in time if this project keeps the same serious throughout its history.
i think it's better to keep it in  long term as long as you have no good reason to buy things that you don't need. And yes, the value will increase.

yes this is definitely a  long term investment imo, integration and adoption will not happen overnight and they need more and more platform to use this payment system

That's true. Look at how long it took Paypal to get a huge market cap. The good thing is that technology is moving faster and faster, so UTRUST could become the size of paypal in a much shorter time.

utrust isquite nice imo but comparing it with the value of paypal is pretty early dont you think so?

I'm only saying that it won't take as long to reach the size of paypal due to the speed of which technolog is advancing. I'm not saying next month Wink Remember that paypal started in 1998! It took them quite some time to grow until the company they are now. If Utrust can deliver what they are saying they can advance much more rapidly then paypal in the day Wink
Hmm... a large project can not grow in a short time, even Utrust want to pass over PayPal, I think few years or a decade is needed to complete this target. Of course I do not care Utrust needs a lot of times or a little of times to complete their roadmap, I only hope it can keeps its value stable after crowdsale.
400  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin value crash if North Korea goes to war with Japan on: October 10, 2017, 11:40:42 AM
Hey guys. With North Korea sending one of their bombs flying over the island of Japan it made me realize what happens to the value of Bitcoin if a war breaks out.

If North Korea attacks Japan will it send the value of Bitcoin crashing down or will the opposite happen?

Let me just also clarify that I do not wish for a war and hope the value goes up in a peaceful environment.
I have seen quite same thread about bitcoin crash due to war between North Korea and USA.
Yes obviously a war will effect bitcoin value negatively but it doesn't mean that it will be crashed if war happens because bitcoin is a decentralized currency having users all over the world not bounded to a specific country, that's why bitcoin will survive even in these worst scenarios.
In my opinion, I think the war between Democratic People's Republic of Korea and United States can not make the price of Bitcoin decrease if it happens. Because I have checked while the tension between the two countries increase more, the price of Bitcoin had increased 10-20% percent because the people in Korea bought many much.
