382  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitArena | Online Bitcoin Arena | Become Champion and win bets against you. on: July 21, 2013, 03:30:38 PM
I really like this idea.  It feels like an improved version of the gem style games.  Using inputs.io to avoid transaction fees and make the results instant is smart too.

Well the difference with this is it removes the greater fool element when the price gets outrageously high on the chaingames.

387  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTS - 1 Bitcoin for Vanilla Reload or MoneyPak on: July 20, 2013, 02:17:35 AM
I see you've been trying for awhile to sell it, I'll make an offer if you need the funds soon. $80 Vanilla Reload card can get it within an hour, however just warning, I've never bought or used one of these reloadit's so not 100% I'll be able to get one, its at a store that I don't go to often.

Edit: sorry misread, saw you wanted a vanilla reload card and not a reloadit. CVS near me has these and I can get it within 60 minutes as well.

ACK

390  Economy / Services / Re: 0.4 BTC / month free (Best payouts - NO POSTING NEEDED & Updated :) on: July 19, 2013, 08:57:19 PM
Slightly tweaked (in a good way):

* We no longer distinct between "counted" posts. All of your posts count, even if it's not your first month.
* Some tiers now have activity requirements
* You'll need to reply to this thread again after 1 month to start another round of payouts.

Nice.
391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting Picks ( RECORD 143-64-16) on: July 19, 2013, 08:09:37 PM

Texas Rangers vs. Baltimore Orioles

take texas

Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees

take boston

St. Louis Cardinals vs. San Diego Padres

Take STL

that is all 3 bets for today GL ALL!~

I'm ready to go...

decided to wager on WNBA last night, and made a nice profit.

Straight BetPhoenix Mercury v LA Sparks7/18 - 21:02WNBAPhoenix Mercury ML+629$100.00$720.90

Cheesy

I took that line too last night. There wasn't any baseball and betting against the streaks both of these teams were running seemed lucrative even though I know little of the sport other than what the Espn.com preview of the game told me.
392  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: wtb 7 btc on: July 19, 2013, 07:57:25 PM
Like the titles says. I need 7 Btc. Have cash, I can do moneypack. Willing to pay 700$-720$. I can send first only to trusted members with a feedback tread to prove it. Other wise you will have to go first. Or we can use escrow.  I spoke with escrow.ms and he is willing to provide the escrow service charges 1% which is your to take care of.

I can sell BTC1 as per this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=259140.0
393  Economy / Currency exchange / WTS - 1 Bitcoin for Vanilla Reload or MoneyPak on: July 19, 2013, 07:25:11 PM

$85 MoneyPak or $82 Vanilla Reload.
394  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 2.6 Btc using moneygram express blue form on: July 19, 2013, 04:48:40 AM
willing to spend 260usd (I live in the US) to a "trusted" seller otherwise I will want to use escrow. I want to use the express blue form because my new debit card has not arrived (I use firstbank) so I can use cash to pay for it and it will go straight into your account. If you don't know what moneygram express is here are some examples from google images. The high at mtgox is High:$98.09466 so I will be paying a little extra. This is the easiest way for me to pay using cash.

Are you in the St Louis area?

Yes, I am I live about 45 minutes away from Saint Louis in Wentzville Missouri. in saint charles county

Sent a PM. I'd prefer other payment methods, but I'm kind of local and would accept face to face if nothing else online works out.

397  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: my account has been hacked on these forums, on: July 18, 2013, 11:01:30 PM
Well you sent it without a fee, so it hasn't been confirmed yet. I appreciate this gesture and will post confirmation again when I can confirm the coins haven't been double spent.

Damn sorry guy, lol like we're going to double-spend some change. If it doesn't confirm in a few hrs we will likely resend with a fee and you can keep both if it confirms eventually.

No big deal.

Would double spending unconfirmed funds be worth it for the change? Not really. For the lulz though... It might be. I'm just happy to be able to go back to being one of those naive bitcoin users who hasn't been scammed on a PayPal trade yet.

transaction limits and withdrawal limits
I will put those at the bottom of order page.
They are specified on the FAQ's, but come on, who actually looks there  Grin

Well that's something I kind of glanced for, but couldn't spot. I appreciate the payment for the review.

Like I said some tweaking and refining might improve usability, but overall you are placing yourself well in a much needed niche.
399  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: my account has been hacked on these forums, on: July 18, 2013, 10:28:33 PM
Well I was under the impression initially they were honest paypal funds, but at this point the BTC refund would be prefered. Whatever's been going on this is above my ability to handle or care about. I appreciate that you've decided to have not troubled me beyond this small situation, I guess sometimes it pays to be boring/unimportant.

Na we gave it back to you because you're not threatening us or being bad and we told you we were sending you paypal funds but never sent them. We don't tell lies.

Well you sent it without a fee, so it hasn't been confirmed yet. I appreciate this gesture and will post confirmation again when I can confirm the coins haven't been double spent.
400  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Ann] Subcoin.com - place to sell Bitcoins on: July 18, 2013, 09:37:34 PM
The account setup process was easy. Sending bitcoin to the address provided upon order creation was easy. I do like the two separate boxes to eather place an order by dollar value or by amount of bitcoin to sell.

Once the order was created and the bitcoins sent, a lot of waiting happened. Sure blocks were taking longer than normal, but the site demands you wait out all of the traditional six confirmations even though many sites find two or three confirmations offer sufficient protection against double spending for all but extremely valuable transactions. Six confirmations is mostly a traditional thing when sites require that many anymore and as the March blockchain for taught us that when the system breaks it tends to do so in a way that even six confirmations won't guarantee anything.

While I waited I managed to add a withdrawal option on the new improved ACH withdrawal option page. It was an incredibly smooth experience.

Other than the aeathetics which might be a bit garish when it comes to things like the message box or the orange and green logo, the site could use a bit more documentation about transaction limits and withdrawal limits. Minimum withdrawal amounts (my transaction was just under the $10 minimum for ACH withdrawal) and maximum sales amounts for the different withdrawal methods could be clarified. Does a yellow light for Serve mean I could sell 10 BTC today if I wasn't a new customer? The stoplights are cool, but not very informative.

This site definitely fills a need that has been missing for quite sometime, ever since Tangible Cryptography and BTCPak left this space.

Most problems just seem to be ones of refinement that can be worked out in time, things like text field size as identified earlier. This isn't a bad implementation, and I hope it works out in the long run.
