381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ether Tops $300 as Price Rises to 30-Day High on: August 09, 2017, 07:56:44 AM
Im pretty sure ETH will reach $1000 at the end of 2017. Not because it's worth more than it is now, but because demand will be much higher as time goes by.

Well that is too much for an expectation. I would expect 500$ for some reasons as long as btc would remain at its current price. Plus i bought eth when it was at 338$ on the previous pump so now i am expecting it to go higher to at least have my profit for waiting. Eth and BCC are i think currently have at least the same increase rate so i guess people are still dumping bcc?
382  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: About the legal situation of selling stuff with BTC on: August 09, 2017, 07:11:17 AM
My guess is that you are liable to pay taxes on any profit from your sales (even if the profit is in the form of Bitcoin). Because I have read about an incident in which a guy sold some of his stuff for gold coins. He had to pay a tax on the profits, after calculating the average gold prices.

He won't have to really claim income until it is converted to fiat. The problems are with sales tax, if applicable. The person selling gold received fiat immediately, and there would be sales tax.

Well chances if he advertises his stuff online then probably the tax he could only are the maintaning fee for the site and the transaction fees of each payments. Either you will pay the transaction fee or the buyer. For i dont have any problem converting any fiat but in small businesses like this trust issued on who would pay or is the product even good when it will come to me?. Those might be issues that can arrive but its up to the seller for this matters.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the future of bitcoin is brighter then any other currency in the world. on: August 09, 2017, 06:23:27 AM
This just proves that more and more people are getting intersted in cryptocurrency. And Btc is like the most powerful currency amongst most of them because other crypto's adjust there price accordingly. Businessmen or even government entities are starting to invest in btc in the fear that maybe clients or citizens might move there money on btc leaving theses entities in low profits. But off course btc can help a countries' economy if handled properly.
384  Economy / Economics / Re: Wasn't that good to use bitcoin as your lifetime asset? on: August 08, 2017, 05:20:50 AM
I agree with you, bitcoin will be a good asset for the future, but I will not keep all the assets I have with bitcoin. Try to think more broadly, I think there are many other ways we can do investment other than investing in bitcoin.saya think we also need a real investment, I do this as a form of heart, so that no thing we do not want in the future Old days, froverti is a good investment form, I think the longer the selling price of one area of the building will be higher.
This is reason make me usually withdraw profit every months or even when the price of Bitcoin reach highest price as in past days, I can't trusted Bitcoin 100% because the value of Bitcoin is virtual and still not clearly as other asset Gold, Real Estate or FIAT.

That is for your perspective but if you really are smart enough then its a good investment. But if you are talking about 40 years later then probably btc already has been replaced by better cryptocurrencies or who knows what kind of investments would appear in that span of time. Chances are btc could always be there but someday due to innovation, new era of money and invest would change the web.
385  Economy / Speculation / Re: WOW!!! Bitcoin prices start to skyrocket again!!! on: August 08, 2017, 02:50:07 AM
Bitcoin prices have exceeded $3000.
Whether bitcoin prices will continue to skyrocket until reach $3500 - $4000? Shocked

Highly possible. The new all time high that Bitcoin reached proved that we have a long way ahead of us. We will continue to see Bitcoin reaching new all time highs and will reach the moon later on. Let us just hope that all thing ends well so that we can have a strong growth with few down trends. The less dumps there is the better Cheesy
We will soon see $3500-$4000 as well. The whole drama related to 1st August and hardfork is finally over. Investors who were skeptical before are now confident and thus buying activity has increased. Also BCC wasn't able to do anything and is being dumped for Bitcoin. The price will keep on going up till November with some fluctuations. In November due to hardfork, there might be a dip.

Has already reached $3400 and it seems today will reach $3500, no one wants to dumped it at the current value because all confident the bitcoin prices will be on the moon in the value of $4000 is the main goal of this month.

probably the segwit is not yet fully locked in so there really would be higher price increase this time. And not just btc is increasing but so are other altcoins. So for me better scatter some of my btc for better chances in some other altcoins. The hype on BCC now is being covered by the price rocketing of btc.
386  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: At Only $500 on: August 08, 2017, 12:33:32 AM
Bitcoin is now known as the digital currency that keeps on growing fast and jumping by leaps and bounds. So far, the return for investment (ROI) with Bitcoin is very, very positive..that is compared to other investment vehicles like stocks, bonds, forex, derivatives, commodities, gold, oil, etc.

Now this is a very theoretical question: What if one day Bitcoin would crash and within days it would go back to its $500 level...would you still support Bitcoin and HODL it or would you decide that it is becoming worthless and also join the sell market?

I would be selecting the best answer for this question...so come on and enjoy punching the keyboard!

Maybe in that time some reasons why it went down is there are already better crypto out there probably by the same team and btc would just be a leftout project. For mw i would not anymore and would invest in some better investment that made btc go at such price. Admit it that btc wont always be the number and its just served as a pioneer for other cryptocurrencies.
387  Other / Off-topic / Re: What country do a majority of scammers seem to come from? on: August 07, 2017, 11:13:54 PM
1.  Poorer people are more desperate and have a stronger incentive to steal.

Gotta agree that its third world but i dont think the main reason is because they are poor rather they are smart and they already know how to manipulate the system in the web. Cause hacking needs a lot investment also. Its not typically in the movies that even normal person could hack it with just some basic knowledge. Furtheremore in general scammers tend to be in a suit rather than in a torned clothing.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCC transactions are very long on: August 07, 2017, 12:54:42 PM
BCC wallet in exchanger is available for deposit and withdraw.
I am trying to send some BCC from HitBTC to Bittrex exhange.
I waited for 10 hours and until now some confirmations have not been completed. I want to ask: is it normal?  Huh

Perhaps its because bcc is fairly new and have a lot of room for adjustments still. Most new altcoins probably would have this issue if they're accepted by exchanges. Give it time.

not they won't.
a new altcoin is starting from scratch and if it is PoW like bitcoin, the difficulty will be adjusted accordingly from scratch and based on the hashrate.
when BCC forked they forked from bitcoin so that chain had the same difficulty as bitcoin (very high) and with a low hashrate as others explained it takes a long time to find a block.
As per my understand, in today the difficult mining Bitcoin Cash has falldown and miner confirm the profit mining Bitcoin Cash just = a half profit of mining Bitcoin. So, if the price of Bitcoin Cash can't increasing in next time, not have many miner still continue mining it and make their blocks need long time for confirm!

As far from understanding your post, you meant BCC takes too long to confirm because there are not enough miners of bcc to confirm transaction and the price of BCC will be the one to detertmine how miners would mine BCC. For me this is just the 1st week of the release so its not yet valid to question any problems. Because obviously everything is still being fixed and there would be a certain date BCC and BTC could be once again stabled once all of this updates are 100% synced.
389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Biggest Wins/Losses and Recoveries while gambling? on: August 07, 2017, 12:15:41 PM
The Question is quiet simple one guys, What were your biggest wins/losses while you were gambling, Or if you have an incredible recovery story do share it, The Biggest amount i have lost is around $150, I don't have any recovery stories. never been there. The biggest win for me was around $500 approx.

My biggest loss were in bustabit 0.05btc and dice game 0.07btc but i was lucky that i just forget to play their and started to bet in sports like cricket and soccer and within some time i recovered my loss and now i am in low decent profit just following my bankroll system to play.

I too remember that site bustabit. Although i lost just .01 and gained some money at prime dice. In one take i recovered my lost but i scattered my money in different sites like duckdice and yolodice just to gain experience on whats going on in this sites. Sadly most of my bettings lost but i least i have tries those different sites. I only bet on nba sports and dota predictions and so far its doing good. Gotta wait until october though for nba.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Call me crazy but crypto market is going to surpass 13trillion forex market. on: August 07, 2017, 10:32:29 AM
Well you're right this is not a new news but so is money laundering in btc. But it dont think btc is that illegal. For some reason cryptocurrency is a fast growing community so there is a high chance that many people has used it in illegal ways but cryptocurrency also gives profit to people who has no jobs. It helped a lot of infrastructure already in the internet. So it depends on the user on where they would use it. Sometimes crypto is a saint but also the devil in some ways.
391  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Is Bitcoin's Value So Volatile? on: August 07, 2017, 10:00:52 AM
If you are taking about recent price volatility, it was the effect of Bitcoin fork and split which was carried out recently. Bitcoin holders were trading Bitcoin with Bitcoin cash and thus the price of Bitcoin cash was around $600 and there was a dip in the price of main Bitcoin. However, now the situation is changed and again Bitcoin price is rising. Still, there will be volatility in the price of Bitcoin for various reasons and the main one is the increase in scale and demand/supply relationship. I have my investment in Bitcoin for the long term and thus it really doesn't matter for the things happening which will have an impact for the short term.

And future more until segwit has fully initialized a lot of prices would go up. Probably service fees and others. Because from what i saw, campaigns have lowered there prices because of the high transaction fee. So probably once the segwit is fully implemented and transaction fees would go lower. Many services could will appear. Especially for those guys could now get there money on some exchange sites or transfer it there without high fees.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin remains strong despite the fork. on: August 07, 2017, 07:23:23 AM
Yeah, bitcoin just seemed to step over Bitcoincash without any issue whatsoever, I expected some kind of effect on the price but that doesn't seem to have happened.

Well its too early to say that but i guess BCH wont reach the price of btc but i can see there will be a lot of miners that are willing to mine BCH. Plus i think there are still BCH out there that hasnt been dumped yet. When segwit also would lock in at least there will be a lot of ease on the transactions. I hope this would also help small traders to transact without worrying about fees.

394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fun seeking gamblers vs profit seeking gamblers on: August 04, 2017, 10:08:52 AM
I had to be straight that I'm a profit seeking gambler. It's fun when you are having profit so you can be a two-type gambler at the same time whenever you win. But if you are just a fun seeking gambler, make sure that you don't need profit.

Well being a profit makes desperate to achieve certain amount or you won't stop until you got what I need where as fun seeker you are already prepared to lose some money and it is less stress because even if you lost, at least you had the contentment of seeing the odds and watching people question there decisions when they lost or they got robbed after they had a big win.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCC transaction.. 0 confirm till now.. it's been more then an hour. on: August 04, 2017, 07:41:28 AM
One hour for BTC is great for me, I'm normally happy to wait but this is a different matter isn't it? Anyway, as mentioned, let's give it a chance to adjust difficulty. It's really early days yet. Can't wait for exchange wallets to be ready for deposits. Yawning hole there.
Do you think it is just because the coin is new? Or maybe it somehow didn't solve the transaction problem? I know the block was increased but perhaps there are some other factors we should consider.
And hey, one hour WAS great with bitcoin but I've heard that now transactions take about 10-30 minutes. I haven't checked it myself, for since segwit I had only one transaction with bitcoin. I was watching the film at that time and had about an hour left. The transaction was confirmed when I watched it till the end.

you are confusing multiple different and unrelated stuff together!

confirmation times with bitcoin had little to do with block generation, blocks were still being mined at the same interval of 10 minute on average. but because of the spam attack you had to pay a higher fee to be able to get a place in the next block. obviously when you paid smaller fee you were having a very low priority and got a very late confirmation.

what is happening with bitcoin cash is very different. the problem is with finding blocks. nobody is finding any in long intervals. there has been 1 hour blocks, there has been 13 hours too. and when nobody finds any block your transactions won't confirm!
and the reason is because of the high difficulty and low hashrate (few miners are mining it). of course the difficulty was programmatically changed to fix it but it is not yet enough.

I think I have read somewhere in this forum that a good date to transact bcc is probably after august 10. Then probably that miners now sync program to mine btc? So try prolonging the patience cause even big traders are still waiting for a good timing to dump there btc and i can see that there  is a high chance will be the next mined altcoin after btc because it has a good feature unlike other altcoins.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash: The New Bitcoin on: August 04, 2017, 04:24:57 AM
Does BCC begin to produce block every 10min? Looks like it is a pretty long time for next block.

Probably be a ~ week or two , before the blocks are running at normal speed.
But since they can pump out larger blocks, one 8MB block in an hour can still beat bitcoin six 1mb blocks in 1 hour.
So they can already provide more transactions with one block in 1 hour , than bitcoin core can with six 1mb blocks in 1 hour.

╥Aztek

I actually am beginning to acknowledge his point because what is the use of hardfork if its just gonna being dumped? Miners are one of the major factors an altcoin is succeeding so if it's more easier and profitable to mine bcc then chances are they would make more efforts for bcc. 8 mb is bigger than 1mb and that could still be multiplied on how much block you acquired in a day.
397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Biggest problem you have with trading / exchanging? on: August 04, 2017, 03:23:40 AM
Well for me it would be the maintenance on altcoin addresses. It always happen on yobit when I'm doing an arbitrage and I know it's intentional. When I see a coin that has a different value but then when you are on the move to transfer the coin then you found out it's not available to deposit. It's very frustratingt that it also happens in polo and coinexchange.

Happened to me also in yobit and until now haven't made any deals with yobit anymore. Poloniex for me is a very common site and i just traded 0.05 btc in there. My biggest frustration would be just missing out the suppose to be biggest deal in eth but i went to the bathroom for an hour and when I came back the price had just fallen fact and i hoped it would return to 380 price but it did not. I ended up selling it to 290$.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am newbie you can explain what alticoin? on: August 04, 2017, 01:36:34 AM
Well 1st of all altcoin are just terms for any cryptocurrency that is not btc because off course btc is the founding fathers. Altcoin also provides services to the community depending on what is its agenda and they have there own currency as payments for the transaction. You can mine then but that's another story. That's just the simplest terms but try and read more over the community and read also any other altcoins in the web to have any grasps on its concepts.
399  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pullback to 2400 then up to 3800. on: August 04, 2017, 12:59:05 AM
Nothing wrong with your speculation as everyone can make one. It's easy to say something like "we will head up to $5,000, $6,000 above" "etc etc etc". Right now people are still on hype of BCH but I see they are just waiting for an other exchange that will accepts BCC deposits and eventually will dump this coin.

When will this happen? No one knows. When will bitcoin will breached $3,000 or will continue to climb up more? No one knows too. Just stay tuned for future events that will happened and be sure you are updated.

Like when speculations in the early years would hope the price to go up at 1k $. But off course there are certain event that could lower or freeze the price like right now where bcc is still being dumped and its price still is at the second most valued altcoin for now. Even though miners of bcc and btc are still having issues, i think once Segwit locks in btc can increase in price.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn more BTC?? on: August 03, 2017, 09:51:26 PM
If you want to earn more and higher amount of bitcoins then you should invest your money in trading as that is the only way which can give you best income in short time and it is also far better then gambling where you will loose your money most of the times.
The problem is not everyone has time and likes to trade, they consider trading the same as gambling, I think there is a better and simpler thing is joining ICO.

People are scared to trade sometime because they know the volatility of the price and its to risky, a lot of ways to earn btc and for me the safest thing is to join a campaign which you can earn not really much but there is no risk, you just need to follow the rules.

Well signature campaign is just for people who really has no money for investing like me. But its not also easy to join successful campaigns because you have to at least make some reputation from post quality and English preferences. For me if ever I could earn enough by for investment I could leave signature campaign and focus more on trading for a solid profiting.
