LOL, just in time for a possible altcoin season this September. Markets are truly seasonal, you just have to see the forest for the trees.

385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IXT] InsureX - blockchain-secured marketplace for Insurance on: August 29, 2018, 01:45:49 AM
Well this IXT is rallying  hard more than the other coins. So much illiquidity.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [DENT] Dent: Tokenizing and Liberating the World's Mobile Data on: August 28, 2018, 10:13:20 AM
that the price rises today is only temporary and will soon be down again

There's a few comments about Devs dumping coins and you saying the price rise is only temporary. Has Dent got a history of being pumped?

I don't think you can call it pump but certainly the price goes up because all of the tokens last year were also rising. Dent is one of those tokens that rise up more than 10x actually and even today the price still is much bigger than before. As far as I know the lowest price it did go was 6 satoshi. So if you have invested to this price, you are lucky enough to have grabbed a stash.

Dent was extremely oversold so this couldn't be the pump. I'd say it's an overdue retracement.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴[ANN] DESICO - The world's first platform to issue and trade security tokens🔴 on: August 27, 2018, 03:17:21 AM
I'm sorry that only today I learned about this project.
The project is impressive and pleases.
Very much appreciated in many places of cryptography.

Don't worry. The token sale has been pushed back to November so that people don't get stung in this horrific bear market. They have set an end date for January 2019, so there will be enough time to invest.

What a long time to promote the ICO. I sure hope it won't get lost in the many other ICOs.
388  Economy / Speculation / Re: BAKKT: Road to $100,000+ starts in november? on: August 26, 2018, 01:47:27 PM
BAKKT still requires a license from US SEC. It's just that it is backed by the largest Wall Street institutions which is said to increase the likelihood of being granted.
389  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help me understand the cryptocurrency market on: August 25, 2018, 04:04:32 PM
Markets are common anywhere because it is always about people trading. It doesn't matter if crypto is new, market movements are common to all.
390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL is not advisable! on: August 24, 2018, 02:56:55 AM
Hodl is ok for crypto or Bitcoin as long as you're betting on long term investment like 10 years.
391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin news and technical analysis on: August 23, 2018, 07:53:19 AM
At present, the price of Bitcoin has fallen below $6,500. Although the market has already seen green, it is only 1%-3%. This speed is very slow!
Things are usually slow when there is consolidation and the market trying to find which direction to eventually take. For now, Bitcoin seems undecided yet and we managed to break $6500 resistance but got sent back below it immediately we hit the $6800 resistance.

As far as I can tell, the bears are still in action even though the bulls are trying to regain control even if it is in the short term. Time will tell where we end up heading to in coming days or weeks. Fundamentally too, there is nothing to drive the market upward, considering the set of news we have been having with the ETF proposals rejection as well anyway.

TLDR; Two weeks of dojis in the weekly chart which means indecision. Eventually the market will decide. 51% chance of upward movement cuz Bitcoin is extremely oversold.
392  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SAME OLD TEAM = big scam list with the same team on: August 21, 2018, 04:52:33 PM
Man, that's kind of lazy scamming - use of templates. By the way, change the thread title to something like "Beware of Scam ICOs - same team template" so that it gets to the top of the keyword search in Google.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]HoweyCoins: the only BitcoinTalk-endorsed ICO - GUARANTEED PROFIT on: August 20, 2018, 02:28:21 PM
What?! This joke ICO announcement is still alive. Holy shit. YuTü.Co.in is right to suggest locking this thread.

However, looking at the replies here, I think this thread could serve as a trap for those spam posting bots.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: X-Block BOUNTY - The whole truth about this bounty! on: August 20, 2018, 02:19:33 PM
Seriously? You already mentioned the name "Sarah" but you cut out the Telegram avatar in your DM. How can you make sure that you're not just chatting with yourself?
395  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 19, 2018, 06:33:06 PM
Damm, so many bears in Twitter. I feel like the weekly candle which is undecided.
396  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much is the best price for Starting Cypto investment/Trading/ETC on: August 18, 2018, 06:54:53 PM

Back to the topic, personally the lowest budget investment i recon USD 500-5500,depends on your finance. There's always risk in investment

Noted:im not a pro as well, still learning.

Well, start with $500 and use $100 first for one trade. If too many losses, add $200 and then another $200 if you happen to be in a losing streak. Nver bet the farm on anything.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You want the bear market to stop? Here are some things you can do :) on: August 17, 2018, 06:49:17 PM
I don't think you can stop a bear market like you also can't stop a parabolic rise in prices in a bull market. The market is people buying and selling with their emotions.

People like to buy rising prices for profit taking at a higher price and they also like to sell declining prices to cut profit losses. Markets snowball in both directions. Only when the last to sell is out does the trend reverses.
398  Economy / Speculation / Re: Technical Analysis Contest With Merit Rewards on: August 17, 2018, 06:28:20 PM
This contest will not do well. Usually contests have a target date and target price. A one hour chart cannot show that.

Yeah, I have buys in that price level, even in the $3k level.  But the problem is: everrrryyybody is also waiting for that so-called capitulation candlestick. In any case, I already bought some at $6,800.

Maybe some of the answers to my questions are obvious, but I am not sure what you are saying.

What kind of odds are you giving to your downwards dip scenario (maybe down to $5,400)?  Greater than 70%?  Your down scenario is not as bearish as other peeps?  Why wouldn't the price go below $5k, once it breaks below $5,700?  We have already seen close to $5,700 a few times since early February, no?

Did you buy some BTC in the $6,800 range recently, because the BTC price has been quite a bit below $6,800, recently, too.

Has your buying been at various price points along the way?  Did you buy more above $6,800?  Have you sold some, too?

Was the reason for your buying BTC in the $6,800 range because at the time of your purchase, you were not sure if the price was going to go down further?  And, was the reason that you did not buy below $6,800 because your lower buying target prices have not been met yet?

I ask because we all know that we have have had several BTC buying opportunities in the past more than six months of below $6k (starting from the beginning of February).

RE: Odds - crashes from parabolic crashes tend to overshoot 0.786 fib correction (check Nasdaq, Shanghai, Dot com crashes).

No selling yet since I'm still not done buying. I'm ready to buy higher too if Bitcoin breaks out of 200day moving average which is around $7,900 now.

How come you bought some at 6800 when you foresee 3k level?

It's called scaling-in
