3861  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] $CXCHE - Cache (DeFi) - Fake Team on: November 05, 2020, 05:13:12 AM
No reply and no response to the active flag given against my account.

All problems were immediately resolved and as explained above, the website was marked a WIP.

Social links and the correct images are now shown on our website.

If no one caught about the use of stock photos, I wonder if you will change it to your real ones. The linkedin profile of Jay (Founder) seemed to be recently created also as it has only 7 connections. Anyway, you can push thru your project but don't expect that community users here will support your platform. Too many crap DeFis already, we don't need another one.
This is a very big mistake where they initially made a project only for a scam after this was caught they dodge and buy themselves with the justification so from that whatever you do completely will not believe in what has been done even though it was already in update from your platform.
Never mind this useless DeFi I am also still amazed that DeFi projects without a clear purpose are still popping up.
This moment is only a use for scamer.

This is also the reason on why I left the negative trust despite the project changing already their team project. If the project was legit and genuine from the start, I do not see the need for them to use stock photos. I understand that they are trying to be anonymous but why did they implement a "team" tab to begin with? I will not remove this project until they give me a compelling reason to remove it.

<snip..>

I am not sure about this one as the original ANN is locked and the github links are the same as far i dont have seen it wrong !
I already have written in his thread and maybe its possible that user will take over the project and coin !
Hope i dont have missed anything

I downloaded the MAC link posted on the new and old ANN and it seems like the files were infected with a trojan virus. My theory is that, the old ANN is already infected with a virus to begin with but no one was able to report it; that is why brand new accounts are taking advantage of that fact and reposting the old ANN. Correct me if I am wrong but I will delete the negative trust if ever.

EDIT:
I find it weird that the other ANN (TrolleyCoin) was reposted by a brand new user with the same links but the files were not infected (as per virus total file scan).

3866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: November 02, 2020, 05:44:48 PM
I don't know why still people do this, online gambling are more accessible. Instead, they organize illegal cockfights that killed a police officer who's just trying to implement the law. I'm just pissed off, while lockdown and quarantine is being implemented, they can still play and wager through online sports bet.

Base from my experience, these people who participated in illegal cockfighting usually live in the province where online access is scarce and novel to them. That is why most of them resort to the conventional way of gambling- which is through cockfighting.

Unfortunately, these people would do anything just to continue their habits. They purposely ignore the strict regulations imposed by the government and they think that the whole pandemic is just a myth and a joke. Hopefully this experience would open their perspective that such practice is indeed, illegal.

Hi, thank you for creating this thread.

Let's keep this thread updated and i-post natin dito mga skeptical and doubtful links na marereceive naten. Good work, OP!
3868  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: November 02, 2020, 10:34:18 AM
Good day,
forgive a newbie question please. I am new on the bitcoin scene and I am also pretty fresh in economics. I am learning, I suppose that is what I wanted to say. I was an ignorant for a way to long and now I trying to gain knowledge to be a little wiser. I got a bit lost because of the pandemic and I wonder is it good to invest in bitcoin and stock market nowadays or should I wait and see what is the market response going to be. I was pretty sure I got a hang of it but the situation changes so dynamically that it is hard for me to follow.

Generally, you would want to check the prices of stocks before you delve in the cryptocurrency world. As what I observed, several blue-chip stocks decreased on its price due to the pandemic. Many investors considered it as a golden opportunity to purchase these stocks and take advantage of its low price.

As for bitcoin, a month ago its price was at the $10,000-$11,000 range and currently, the price sits at $13,000~. The pandemic is actually good for the market in general and you would want to take advantage of it.

3869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: November 02, 2020, 05:48:08 AM
Nope.

I mainly gamble using my fiat and other online currencies. There were times that I used my bitcoins as a fund for online gambling but nowhere did I exceed spending more that what I have initially planned for. Bitcoins are too precious for me to just gamble them away and I would opt to invest them than to use them for gambling. Being a currency that is scarce and difficult to acquire, the potential of investment is just too difficult for me to let go.

I don't really think it affects on how I play in gambling casinos and sports betting my bet is still the same as before I think that's the great thing in playing with cryptocurrency I just consider them as playing token and doesn't care about its price so I think no matter what price it is low or high as long as there's no change in the minimum or maximum bet on a casino or sports betting site it wouldn't affect my game play.
Agree with this, when betting you see bitcoin as it is not as a dollar. The change in price will only matter when you have to convert to convert your bitcoin to fiat. If you are more concern with the value, its better if you will allocate an amount you'll spent for the game, this will cause you not to think more of the bitcoin price since you set in mind that this is the particular amount you'll only use. But actually, the in price doesnt affect so much.

The problem that I had when I tried gambling with bitcoins was the withdrawal fee from these gambling sites. They were just too expensive and significantly high that heavily discouraged me from gambling away my bitcoins. That is why I opted to choose fiat or altcoins to gamble instead of bitcoin due to the high transaction fees that occurred.

3872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs. Conor McGregor on: November 01, 2020, 06:50:01 PM
I think no excuses will work anymore. In fact, Conor is a waste material for both UFC and boxing. I think he is well aware of this, so he is only trying to make as much money as possible while he is interesting to at least someone. I wonder in what area he will work after he finally retires from the fighting.

You guys need to show some respect to Conor. He has a terrific MMA track record. He has 22 wins from 26 fights to his name. It is true that he lost against Floyd in 2017, but then boxing is not his core domain. He was brave enough to accept a challenge outside his core domain. Will Manny or Floyd do something like this? Floyd previously tried his luck with WrestleMania, but he never participated in MMA.

Almost everyone knows that Conor holds an unbelievable and terrific record in the MMA. Unfortunately and fortunately, he chose the path that would increase further the numbers on his bank account. But let's face it, although boxing is a sport, it is also no less than a form of business for the players. Hell, if I were Conor, I would actually fight the people's champ just for that quick cash and I would be settle for life!

3876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you read the TOS of a gambling site? Honest answer please. on: October 31, 2020, 09:07:43 AM
I want to make a survey from gamblers in the forum if they are really reading the TOS of the gambling sites they are playing with.

Therefore, I request you to vote and give an explanation on why you voted yes or no?

This may be embarrassing but I usually just scroll and check whatever TOS appears on the screen. I remember when I used to gamble my online skins from a game, I just trade and gamble without even considering the mandates of the TOS. There was a time that I asked myself on why the commission of this website was absurdly high, only to realize that everything was stated on their TOS.

From there, I learned my lesson to read the TOS of a gambling site especially if I were to continue gambling again.

Yes, reading TOS is important to know their terms and conditions,

without reading their TOS, I might accidentally violate one of their rules and this might cause me trouble which I do not really want to. It actually take only a few minutes to read so I better read it than being sorry in the end.

I remember that I had a friend who lost around $1000 worth of BTC due to the TOS of the gambling website. He was not able to withdraw and get the funds due to some conflict. But that is true, it is essential to read and understand the TOS of the gambling website.

3878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Death during illegal cockfighting raid on: October 30, 2020, 06:58:24 AM
Aside from the main issue that it is an illegal cockfighting ring, the death is an accident and it does not have any correlation with the raid. Philippines has a big problem when it comes to this illegal cockfighting ring because a lot of money is involved in this kind of games, even politicians are known to bet on this games. Some are protected by the local authorities because they are bribed. There was once a story where a hitman is hired by a politician to kill the owner of the winning fighter, although it was a long time ago. There have been cases the same as this one that I have known of and by far this is the only time that someone died.

When I was a kid, my dad and my grandfather used to have a cockfarm in the province where they breed "champion line" of chickens every generation. We also have a mini stage in our farm where exhibition matches between chickens happen. Way back, my dad brought me to the Araneta stadium where he participated in four (4) matches. He won 3 out of 4 of those and it was a memorable time between me and him.

It saddens me that some people do not follow the strict protocol provided by the government. The pandemic has resulted to countless of deaths and transmissions due to the fact that people do not observe the required and strict rules implemented by the government to prevent further transmission.

While I do appreciate that you have been commenting on other altcoins as a scam, can you please elaborate on why such project is a scam? If you have all the necessary evidence, kindly post it on the scam accusation board so other users can see and check if such project is indeed, a scam.

Your post history indicates that you have been replying scam on other boards without providing any necessary proof.
