3881  Other / Archival / Re: Is KYC benefit to crypto people or not on: August 18, 2019, 07:49:18 AM
I personally don't actually have a problem to do KYC, in order to get rewards from the bounty program, but there is a lot of news that there are many projects that abuse KYC for bad purposes, so this causes concern, and finally try to give KYC to projects that can be trusted.
It is still not a concern for me, because we can easily spot out project that will have the tendency of using our data for illegal purposes, but if you see some reputable companies, you will know that they will always protect your data at all cost, except maybe till they exit the market and there is no longer anything binding both of you, then they can be compromised and then sell the data to those that needs it and would pay for it.

Before I give out my data, I must make sure that I properly verify the details of the company, and if I can get their details and I am convince enough about them then I would have no problem submitting my own details to them too, hoping that one they, they will not get compromised and then use the data in a place that will disfavor me.
3882  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a Stock Market Crash affect Bitcoin? on: August 18, 2019, 07:14:09 AM
I don't think so, because the two platforms are different and when the stock market goes down and the crypto market goes down simultaneously, then I think it's just an unexpected event and might also happen accidentally. So, investors have their own way of looking at opportunities and when they see the high-fluctuation crypto market, that might be another way for them to invest, but still their investment will tend to be in stock markets that tend to be stable and this is a situation that different about the crypto market.
You cannot compare the recovery rate of stock market to that of cryptocurrency market, prior to when cryptocurrency market was established, I have seen cases where stock market crashes and people loose their investment completely, but in cryptocurrency, it would be difficult to lose money completely provided such seller do not panic sell, or the project he invested in is a scam or a bad one, but do long the project has a working team and product, the value will pick up faster and recover faster than that of stock market.

I know that many people that have investment in stock market are also beginning to consider the market of cryptocurrency as one that they also need to put money into, so if stock market crashes, it is either they fall back to crypto which I believe the two cannot fall at the same time.
3883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I've lost on: August 17, 2019, 07:07:53 PM
Greedness has been the more reason why people do lose in gambling and investments. It is a very bad spirit and very few can control it. I have been trading and gambling and two things that has made me to make loses are greed and impatience. If you can get control over these two you will succeed in both gambling and trading!
I think being greedy is not really the problem, it depend on the level of greed because sometimes, greed even make us to do better. Maybe from my experience though, I have noticed that  when you wish to play more in order to gain more, it works perfectly, might not be consistently but so many times I noticed it that greed can sometimes serve as a motivation.

I am not encouraging anyone to be greedy, and moreover I don’t even see any form of greed with what the OP did, he did what was right and I am sure anyone would have done same. It’s just too bad that luck decided to be unfair to him with the game; we all know that gambling is a game of luck. Maybe we should always check our stars to be sure it will be favorable in gambling.
3884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: August 17, 2019, 06:49:22 PM
I could only dream of winning big money in gambling because I never had that experience in my gambling story, but I don't jealous to see many of my friends can win much money from many gambling games. I think they are very lucky so they can win that money and withdraw the money. But after all, they always ask me to join with them to celebrate their winning by hanging out together in the cafe.
I think you should at least consider yourself lucky for having friend that have win huge money, its rare. I have never won big money and it’s the same with my friends, I believe having friends that are winner could give me hope that my time would come, but sometimes I keep wondering if I would ever win big or if there’s actually anything like huge win in gambling.

The only time I would have won big was in 2018, but I made another mistake that took down the money. I won about $3000 on a onetime bet and rather than withdrawing the money, I decided to double bet and instantly it went down the drain. It was really disheartening and I felt really terrible. But I am still hopeful that a time would come for me to win mine. Let’s keep on being optimistic.
3885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risks will be useless if anyone can see tomorrow on: August 17, 2019, 04:47:40 PM
There has no accurate future for Binance. You thought is right, no problem for new exchange. As news more user increased, now need more exchange.
Yep you’re right about that, there are times it will reach and an exchange won’t be able to contain the activities and the number of people that are on the site, they either have to upgrade or if they keep on like that, then people will have to look for another exchanges that is good. Though one thing I don’t like about new exchanges is the fact that they usually fake their volume and doing that means that they are not sincere. It’s hard to find a new exchange that is reliable on a hundred percent.

Every investment has its own risk involving but we can blame newly released exchange which the crypto business is broad and I don't see any problem in having new exchanges getting released into the crypto market simultaneously.
This is the reason, we must risk only what we can afford on losing and also we must follow diversification rules. This way we may reduce the percentage of risk factor and still we cannot eliminate the risks absolutely.
3886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops profitable and worth my time ? on: August 17, 2019, 03:44:58 PM
in my opinion this is a waste of time. 90% of the airdrops either do not pay or their reward is worthless. 10% are those who pay, but not the fact that their reward will be consistent with the declared value. So it’s better not to waste time on them.
For me I would say it is hundred percent all of them cause none of them ever paid me, I regretted ever working for them and the worst part of it is that some of them are scammers. The same thing with other things like faucets, they are all just a big time wasters, there is nothing to gain from them. I would rather just get money and invest in Bitcoin, hodl and take the risk for sure instead of wasting my strength and time with things I’m very sure are not even going to pay.

It's not actually airdropped it's more like bounty campaign, I used to participate in old airdrops three years ago
Just participating and collecting the reward has to do nothing here. The question is what about the rewards. You got chances to make some money out of those rewards? If yes, please share them.
3887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 on: August 17, 2019, 02:58:18 PM
Serbia played Turkey last night in some Greek tourney or something and they have shown what they can do, people are not saying Serbia has a big chance to win the cup (IN A CUP USA PLAYS!) for nothing, they played Jokic and Boban at center and had Bogdanovic scoring like crazy, of course when faced against USA things will be different but lets be honest with each other USA brought people like Brook Lopez, how much do you really think Brook Lopez can stop Jokic, dude is literally one of the best centers in the league right now, same with Greece, they have the latest MVP of the league with Giannis, I doubt it will be easy to stop that dude. So, USA may still get the gold but I give Greece and Serbia a lot of chances to win looking at how they played recently.
3888  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice.com – The World's Best Fully Featured Casino. Play or Invest! on: August 17, 2019, 01:03:25 PM
Please do more regular promotion such as wagering contest, roll hunt, rain on the chat or trivia. It will help to make the campaign success, otherwise you'll be wasting money only if you have no other offers. Good luck.
That is what stake did for a long time to keep people on their website, getting people to your website is really challenging however keeping them on your website is even more difficult.

What they did was for months after months (maybe even longer than a year) they did stuff like "make reverse of your bet in a row and win x amount", "make 77.77 and win x amount" and many stuff like that which makes people bet and eventually try to get those numbers in dice or some other games as well and in the end that made people bet more and stay there because there was constant promotion going on.

In the end they can't continue to do that forever so it got slowed down a bit but if you do decent promotions and the signature doing well I am sure it will both get bigger in user numbers but also won't have as much turnover neither.
3889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You Should Know Before Playing A Crypto Betting Game on: August 17, 2019, 12:15:03 PM
I would add to that that gambling in crypto sites is more dangerous than gambling in an ordinary casino.
When you bet with Bitcoin (for example) you make bets of 0,0001 BTC which seems like a small portion. However, in real money this is a decent amount. This makes gambles lose more money without noticing , so this is a risk that should be taken into consideration.
I think anything gambling is a scam either online casino or offline, this are just people that are out to get the money of innocent players by creating a platform to suck them of their hard earned money. I have lost greatly to so many online casino sites and casino houses are not left out. I don’t even know which has done me more harm, whether the online or the casino houses but they are both dangerous in my own opinion.

I will only advise all intending gamblers to get a very good source of income and stop hoping on making it from gambling because it is never going to happen. If you must play at all, its advisable to do it for fun.
3890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: August 17, 2019, 09:20:17 AM
In my experiences, I already won but a little amount of BTC only betting on a boxing fight which is Pacquiao-Thurman fight.

Now can I ask you, did you ever won a huge amount of money on gambling?
Share your experience.
Way back in 2016, I won almost 3 BTC from playing a dice game. That is the biggest jackpot I've won ever in my life and I'm still hoping that I can do it again or even get bigger but in a way that I'm still in my control. Nowadays, it's indeed more difficult to defeat the house edge in a dice game. Somehow, you have to find more of your luck in other games and that'a what I'm trying to in gambling with my small accounts.
Whatever strategy you used then that made you win so big can still be used again to maintain winning. 3BTCs is not a small amount of money, you are indeed a champion. Please share little secret here with us on how you won this and the strategy you used, I believe in a way it can still be helpful.

I am considering quitting gambling at this point because I have never won. I can’t even pin point a specific amount that I have won since I began gambling, it’s been from one loss to another and this is really terrible. If I could win just 1BTC I believe I would withdraw the money to do better things because I already feel very frustrated considering all what I have lost.
3891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: August 17, 2019, 08:42:11 AM
I've never thought about investing the winning amount, once after winning my minds gets free and without any fear I used to spend on the consecutive bet as my capital won't gets disturbed even if I loss in the betting. If I've invested my winnings now that could've grown big and yielded me a good return out of it.
Growing up, there is this proverb my mother always tells me and it has helped me a lot in life and mostly in gambling. It says “if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. I think about every possible means to invest while the game is on and this is the reason I am able to invest any little money I win from gambling. Most of my friends find it very difficult to accept that gambling is what I have as a main source of income, I understand this is where I cater for my needs, so I put in all my mind in it while playing.

The thought that always goes on in my mind while I am playing is the amount I wish to win and the place I can invest in in. This is the only thought that runs till the end of the game. It is good because once I win the money; I already know what to do with it. And it helps me not to think of having a rebet, because most times, I already tell myself before the end of the game that I would be comfortable with whatever amount I win.
3892  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Crypto trading bot beat human intelligence? on: August 17, 2019, 08:11:44 AM
Human intellectual will always be human intellectual, which is the dominion that God has already given us over some of these things, bot intelligence or artificial intelligence, is it still not product of human intelligence? So you know how powerful human being can be intellectual wise no matter the machine we have.

When it comes to trading of cryptocurrency or Forex trading, human being will always perform much more better than any bot service or artificial intelligence that may have been developed, so I would not really on any bot services that much because they can never perform to optimum as human will, better we learn strategies for trading personally and then always apply it manually even if we have to mix it with bot.
3893  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you fund ICOs ? on: August 17, 2019, 06:51:49 AM
It is really getting difficult for people to now fund ICOs because record of money that has been raised through ico scam is too much and people are hearing these news and seeing this figures, and with this figure, how do you expect them to be discourage after also knowing that majority of ICO projects in the market including the one that as fully been developed and just full of scam.

No matter what your friend is developing, we have some people that have developed similar thing in similar ways but they still end up using the application to scam investors, so to get investor convinced now in dropping their money for any project takes a whole loots of works and convictions. So for me, I would never support that ICO projects with my personal money.
3894  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should we have to follow the footmarks of top traders? on: August 16, 2019, 05:47:39 PM
I don't think there is a roadmap to becoming a good trader or there is a trader that is always profiting. In the end everything changes constantly and even a top trader who has been amazing so far can end up with less money after a while.

You have to draw your own path and decide on what type of trader you want to be and how you want to trade, there are so many millions of tiny details about trading that you can't have exactly the same 2 ways of doing it, hence you can copy some of the traders on some big stuff but in the end you have to personalize it, even having different amounts on your starting capital can change so much that you wouldn't believe it. I would say pick some important lessons from the experienced people but use it to draw your own conclusions.
3895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance's IEO vs Huobi's IEO : Which is better? on: August 16, 2019, 05:03:56 PM
Hi there.
In my opinion, I like Huobi's IEO than Binance's IEO. Right, Binance IEO require the smaller days of holding, but the price of BNB is dumping everyday. But HT isnt, it's price increase everyday, and hard to dump (except BTC dump, all alts will dump). And the Huobi's IEO help us better profit too. From x4-x10 until now, but with Binance's IEO, some IEO is having x0.5-x2 now.
When the price of Binance too was at huobi level now, you hardly see any dumping too in their price and investors had stayed so long with them in the market, but I know that a time will come that we will see some dumping in Binance price because it is impossible for investors to continue to hold their money in the Binance market forever, at one point they will all need their capital for something which will make the price of Binance to decline.

If the decline you are referring to was that of some days back now, I think it is just the decline that majority of them use to follow when the price of bitcoin dumps, so I guess it is bitcoin price that is just affecting them.  Huobi too will get to a pint where it will experience some dumps too, but still at it, Binance is still more effective than huobi.
3896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do or Die for ETH on: August 16, 2019, 04:11:47 PM
The reason why Ethereum has been so popular was because of their smart contract chain that requires all these ICO project to register through it before they can launch their project, and this really make Ethereum surge very high in price in 2017 when ICO became very popular and so many investors put in their money into the ICO market, but since it has been a hell with so many investors after scammers, most of them has been seriously discouraged about ICO and only focusing in bitcoin right now, so what do you expect of Ethereum, of course it will keep going down because there are not many successful ICO again like that of 2017, it is only IEO now that is still trying to attract investors and even IEO is only safe with Binance, other IEO are still full of scam.
3897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: August 16, 2019, 03:37:09 PM
If you can't wait then you shouldn't invest in crypto. It would be short or long and totally depend on situations. If price raise after you bought then you don't need to wait longer and you might get good profit. If price dump after you bought then you should wait longer in order to get profits and avoid losses. So we can say at least you have to wait...
It is not only in cryptocurrency that one’s patience is being tested, it is also tested in our other businesses, I have seen people that invest in business, and would not see anything called profit until after two years, there are people that has been fighting for contracts for years committing money without giving up and they end up getting it no matter how long it took.

Therefore, the most important goal is that we are able to multiply that money that we have In our hands rather than it just being there for years and no matter how long it takes, we just have to be patient till we see that our money has yielded profit, that is still why everything surrounding our investment is tied to our own goal setting. Like my goal, is to at least see 90 percent profit on my investment and I think I am okay with that.
3898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin or Bitcoin on: August 16, 2019, 03:04:46 PM
Many altcoins don't have real projects and are just like pump and dump projects. If we can diversify our investment in potential bitcoin and altcoin, I think we will get some profits from our investment
The thing that I don’t understand about altcoins is that if they all have a very great idea in their whitepaper, what stops them form fully working according to the working product that was proposed on their whitepaper, do I call it laziness or lack of will to just do those things because if you really take a look at some product’s whitepaper, you will see that most of the product that they propose in their whitepaper is really of good quality but I wonder why we end up seeing some failed projects.

People want to really diversify, but they are not being encouraged by developers of those projects because they are not really making their products that seen and useful like the way bitcoin is, it was not easy when satoshi started also, but he kept on pushing until bitcoin scaled through.
3899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Better than an ICO and IEO? Introducing the SCO on: August 16, 2019, 01:29:38 PM
Well, game of luck though, we cannot condemn it until we try it out first, there is always room for competition and development, maybe this will eliminate scammers from the market, we might never know, but would not completely rely on it first because this was how STO came with all sort of promises right now, but look at it still struggling with just one project that is yet to see the light, which is Bitbond.

The only solution that we one now which is the major challenge of IEO and ICO is scammers, if this so called SCO will still accommodate scammers, then it is no better than ICO and IEO then, so I think we just have to continue with our IEO for now till this new method of yours is proven to be another reliable system like that of IEO, because we have to be careful so that we don’t drive investors away from the market completely.
3900  Economy / Economics / Re: Crimes involving crypto have risen on: August 16, 2019, 12:56:17 PM
Even now, a very large amount of wealth is being lost on various cryptocurrency scams and hacks. Initially everyone was expecting that the incidence will go down with time, as Bitcoin matures as a global currency. But that is not the case. Scams and hacks remain as prevalent as ever and users continue to lose their hard earned money on them.
Hacking and scam is real, I will not dispute it, but sometimes, most of us makes it easy for these scammers to really scam us, we store our money in exchanges, where they can wake up one day to just turn their backs against us and then steal the coin in our wallet, but we have heard that from people severally that we should never store up our coin on an exchange, but yet, some holders still do that

Secondly, we make use of any wallet that is not popular or familiar, or wallet that are not with private key, I don’t think it would be that easy to scam and offline wallet with private key, and concerning scam which mostly occur on ICO market, still our fault that we desperately make investment, do we have to invest in these ICO’s, what happened to already existing top ICOs?
