3901  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin help rebuild Venezuela? - Darb Finance on: August 13, 2019, 03:07:35 PM
Bitcoin is just another form of money. You know it is the digital money that helps you make transaction more quickly and even multiply your value if you speculate in Bitcoin. The situation in Venezuela is not of financial kind but of political nature. The political scenario is pretty ill and this is the main reason of the weak financial condition of Venezuela.

Sadly true. They used to refine their own oil but their infrastructure has stagnated, heck even become obsolete, that now they only sell crude oil.

It would be interesting though if the government don't crack down on bitcoin (unlikely). Since their currency is now worthless and the dollar some use can be easily confiscated, we could see an economy develop that mostly use bitcoin.
With the condition of Venezuela, I think it is worst more than what bitcoin can solve for them, and as the other mate said, their problem is not financial crisis but political crisis, so they have to tackle that first before they can think of using bitcoin to boost their economy, even if they apply bitcoin today, maybe it will help some individuals, but can never help the country has a whole to resolve anything.

I believe they need to start from their government first by changing their leaders because I put the blame on their leaders who could not control the situation until it got out of hand, which mean most of them are just bunch of hands that are not capable of handling whatever positions that they have there.
3902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: invest? gambling? or trade again? on: August 11, 2019, 03:38:00 PM
It is up to you to decide whether to invest or trade. It already depends on your ability to trade. Do not know how to trade then invest, but not gambling. Of the coins you named, I would certainly invest in ETH. Good luck to you
We all have the ability to do any of the three, it now depends if the one we choose is a right and reliable means of making money or not, and amongst the tree projects that the op mentioned, the inly project that should never be considered by any sensible human is gambling, except maybe such person is playing it for game and that should be people that have too much of money to waste and while away their sadness, but for someone who is just starting his life of trying to build an income that can always multiply, I bet that only trade and investment in cryptocurrency would do just right.

There is none out of these two that one practices that one cannot get right, the only thing that is just needed is the k knowledge and skills to apply to both for him to kick start.
3903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promote bounties for how good the projects are and not for reward on: August 11, 2019, 03:00:41 PM
Promoting projects for rewards alone is one of the roots of all the evils you are seeing in the cryptocurrency industry today. Charity begins at home they say, bounty hunters are always the first point of contact of these projects aside their managers, and it is what we promoted that the majority of the investor we have today saw, and as we know that some of them has been scammed, some projects has even made people loose relationship.

I remember that a friend of mine told me he lost his close friend who saw an advert on his page and since the way he promoted it was self-explanatory, he made investment, but unknowing to him, the project was a scam project. Till today, he still has that bad feeling for him for making him see a bad project. I know it is not completely the promoter’s fault because the investor too ought to have done his own research, but let it start from us first.
3904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are focusing on IEO Funds on: August 09, 2019, 04:41:08 PM
IEOs are becoming a threat to those who rely on choosing project from any exchanges, low rated exchanges have already joined the IEO rollercoaster and projects funds are been raised through these low rated exchanges which to me is a very dangerous risks for anyone who invest in projects from low rated exchanges or even new exchanges.

Do not forget that many new projects are coming into crypto space focusing only on the funds they will raised through IEO/ICO
This is not that surprising to me because I already knew that it would get to that point and that scammer would really have a very nice time with it because we have lots of people that are quite too greedy and too impatient to fall for it. We already know that these low exchanges would never do due diligence like these top exchanges would do because they are not after the protection of their name, they are just after the money that they will make out of these scam or low quality projects.

For IEO, I think people have option to fall or not fall into scam unlike ICO, for IEO, the best option not to fall into scam is just for them to go for IEO that are on these top exchanges like Binance, Huobi and all the other reputable exchanges that are listed in the market.
3905  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Psychological Analysis for trading Crypto on: August 09, 2019, 04:22:20 PM
I think psychological is not as important as people make it out to be in crypto neither, of course charts and technically analysis all are falling short of meeting the expectations too but it is not purely emotional neither, there is a bit of technical involved. It is basically combination of all of them if you ask me, there is emotional involved but there is technical involved too.

How it happens is that people check the technical analysis first then make an emotional decision according to that, so basically technical plays a role of showing people how it should move and then people move according to what they feel like that technical analysis is showing. There is also whales which is neither emotional nor technical, they are purely manipulative and do whatever they want.
3906  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any way to earn 5% interest/profit per month on: August 09, 2019, 02:32:32 PM
- Removing gambling from the first thought is best when this method has caused more people to lose than to succeed, then focus on options such as holding and trading, which are effective paths that many people prove by their income. And set a profit of only 5% per month, holding will be the preferred choice of many people but I believe that sooner or later, people will switch to trading, people's greed will not stop at the profit level, it can only be higher over time, but remember to keep alert and control in every decision
Gambling can also be an option, but not a strategy.
Gambling should not be considered as an option at all, if op is tired of the money and looking for the easiest way to lose the money, then he should gamble with it, otherwise, he should out the money in an investment that he would be able to control through is strategy.

I would rather even prefer to stake the coin if I have to tan gambling, but for me, I think the only option for him to make such profit on a monthly basis would be through trading because if I say that he should hold, there are month where he might not get profit, but with trading, he would be able to even make more than that depending of the level of his strategy and his compounding strength, if he trade on a weekly basis, it would be easy for him to meet that target.
3907  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market will be recovery current year 2019? on: August 08, 2019, 03:09:57 PM
Step by step analysis of bitcoin market, this current year 2019 bitcoin will be recovery its price and reputation. I think bitcoin will be highest soon or later in this running year...
Your prediction is quite appiciatable. But Bitcoin hit 11.8k$ from 3K$ in this year, which is huge. That's why  It can't be exactly predict that what will be the cost per Bitcoin by 2019 Dec but i guess btc will remain same as Now (around 10k$-13k$)
I would not want to judge the  value it will hit based on its last performance in 2017 because that was a bull run time, but even if there is not going to be bull run this year, I am very optimistic that by December, we should at least be $15,000.

If bitcoin  can get to this value by December, then we should expect that bull run will start very early next year because that would be at least 60% of the last value and based on some analysis, we need such percentage to force the market into bull run, bitcoin at that value would not really be a bad increase at all, just that I am not sure completely if the bulls will be able to hold stringer or those who are doing sorts in the market will force it to correction state just like they have been doing with many increases we have witnessed of recent.
3908  Economy / Speculation / Re: Alternative view: There is no bull market. Bitcoin will go down. on: August 08, 2019, 02:17:49 PM
Bitcoin bull run can start at any time, and it does not have to follow a cycle, the whole thing depends on the amount of investors that would pick interest at a particular time, and we can see that the time of interest of each investors varies, what usually pull crowd to make investment at once is if there is a publicity, a promo or something strong that would touch people and call their attention at once.

I think in 2017, ico contributed to why bitcoin price soared that high, we got lots of investors that came in at once to make investment, and I am sure that a factor will also come soon that will attract people to bitcoin, FacebookLibra coin would have been one, but it seem that one may not really be launched.

The market is not saturated at all, what is the percentage of people in bitcoin compared to the percentage of people in other markets, it is still very little.
3909  Economy / Speculation / Re: What the Effing Hell is Going On!?!?! on: August 07, 2019, 05:11:39 PM
Are most of you ppl who keep talking about btc price traders?  Or holders?  Because unless you plan to sell soon or trade, shouldn't none of this matters if you don't plan to sell btc?
That is the thing with them, most of them keeps claiming bitcoin has future, I wonder the future they are talking about, are they talking of tomorrow future which I think that is what many of them mean. They want bitcoin to grow wing like tomorrow and just multiply their investment. Most of these traders are in for the short term investment and does not really care about that future, few of us are just the ones that really want to wait for some years of bitcoin to see the benefit it will Bring to us.

Many of the people you see in the market now will sell their coin any moment that bitcoin gets to $20k, and one of them is op, he is just an FOMOed bitcoiner because he saw the trend bitcoin was moving on then, forgetting that it is impossible for bitcoin to continue on a trend for too long without a reversal of price.
3910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless altcoins must remove from the whole crypto market on: August 07, 2019, 03:59:17 PM
if tokens don't get a boost from the team, they will disappear over time. because tokens or coins that are difficult to develop naturally will become dead coins and no one wants to invest with them. but it is true that in 2018 many projects that gave birth to tokens or shitcoin.
For me, I see campaign on removing dead tokens from the market as medicine after death really, because the people that were hurt most are not the people that would invest after the ICO or after they have entered exchange, but the people that have already invested during their ICO, they are the real victims of these ICOs, and if we are trying to protect any group from scam, it should be this group of people.

That is why we must all make a collective effort to ensure that we don’t promote any project that is bad for them to even get to exchange or market to continue to scam people. We have to make lots of research of them and try so much to take them out before they get registered; it is something that we can do if we take greed and desperation out of our way.
3911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will some Altcoins not last past the next high ? on: August 07, 2019, 03:30:37 PM
Lets be honest , there are so many Altcoins only a few will survive. The difficult part is figuring out which ones. Even if a coin doesn't survive , you may still be able to trade it profitably until the next high. However , which are the safest bets to HODL ?

I made a video to discuss :https://youtu.be/7LWQcqP5ASQ
For now, I only invest in altcoins that are below top 50 based on hope and believe but not on assurance, most projects that we have now are becoming very non-serious with the projects. Most of the ones I even have in my portfolio right now which I got from bounty campaigns, I do not know their future also, others that came through IEO that would have given one a peace of mind, I am not able to participate in them.

So, I think the only coins that I have right now that I am sure of their future growth is BNB, LTC, BTC, EOS, ADA, STEALLAR and some few other top altcoins that are within the top 50 in the coinmarketcap site.  New projects are even a no go area right now, as many of them are not able to successfully compete with thee already existing ones as they claim.
3912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in XRP? on: August 06, 2019, 12:10:47 PM
I just found an article and here it is,

https://www.forbes.com/sites/panosmourdoukoutas/2018/03/07/ripple-could-be-the-next-bitcoin/#4dc2e64c5b39

Can anyone confirm it is helpful or is it wise to trade with XRP?
Putting money in xrp is just like you saving your money on tether without expecting any profit in return. Many people are judging it by its previous rise which was the same way many other coin rose as a result of bull run of all altcoins, so bitcoin can only increase through bull run, and you know that, most bull run value does not always last in the market and I even don’t a little if the bull run of this year will affect xrp.

If you see many people taking of ripple and advising people to invest in it is just because they already made a mistake of investing in it, and what would you expect from them rather than for them to just continue to promote the coin so it can witness growth for their investment to be able to yield result and not because it as much use case.
3913  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Could Surpass $15,000 This Week: Max Keiser on: August 06, 2019, 07:43:20 AM
Well, the recent up-surge was long due because it had become stagnant for too long since it recorded the last new high of $13800, the correction has been lot and I believe that any moment from now, the market should be strong again to test back $13k, from there, we will know if there is going to be another correction that will force it down again or continue to make it surge.

For now, we better still be watching and see if this currency value will be able to be sustained and pull more investors that will make it surge further to break further barrier that will make it possible for us to see some of those price predictions of yours, but what I am very optimistic about is that before the end of the year, it is possible to see it stabilize on $15k before we may witness another big bull run.
3914  Economy / Speculation / Re: Calm down. on: August 06, 2019, 06:56:59 AM
Calm down will be a solution for us to wait for the market to rise again and gladly, right now, we see the bitcoin market is increasing. We already break $10k although right now, the price back to the lower price but I am sure that soon, the price will break more than $10k. We can be ready for the coming, and we can prepare to sell bitcoin at a higher price again. But be careful, we still need to prevent from the down of the price that could happen in anytime.
If we need to prevent the prices from falling then we need to hold them, selling at higher price will let the bitcoin to be down and the recovery needs to happen then it what it will lead to if that process keep repeating.
Well, it is impossible to ever make people keep holding their coin, and holding it is not the main answer to bitcoin witnessing a very high value, bitcoin was never even meant to be just held in the wallet, it was because we started using it as investment alone that we always advise people to hold it in wallet.

If everyone really take bitcoin for what it was created for, naturally, people will hold it in wallet and at the same time still use it to carry out their transactions such as payment of services, salaries, and many more things that bitcoin payment may be useful for. What we need now is not just to campaign on making people hold BTC, but to campaign on enforcing people to recognize it as a payment utility for their businesses and financial transactions.
3915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your money could vanish in IEOs on: August 05, 2019, 07:31:05 PM
Yes, it seems true that IEO has attracted many ICO investors today, most ICO investors are switching with them, maybe that's the best way in their view to make money quickly. but I personally think that IEO or ICO are all at high risk, before joining them I suggest making sure in advance that they are really legitimate or not and you should always be careful with that
For now, IEO seems like another money making project, all you hear is that a particular IEO had like 400x increase, 800x increase and so on but never speak of it real use case other than the one spoken of in their whitepaper. I have been following many IEOs that have been released so far through many of these exchanges especially that of low quality exchanges, and found out that none of them are being spoken of again after they had been launched on an exchange and then witness a great increase on the platform.

So after the profit, what happens next, are people who did not participate in the investment seeing other need to make use of it outside just investment, is there any user in the house that really want to use such project for anything of services and goods?
3916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Dex exchanges are safe? on: August 05, 2019, 06:11:44 PM
I've been using dex exchanges like ddex, switcheo. They asked to connect wallet through metamask or trust wallet, I'm an android user so I'm using trust wallet to use these exchanges, i wanted to ask when we connect our wallet to a specific exchange is there any possibility to stole funds anyhow?
I have seen a complaint on this forum, someone that lost his coins on a decentralized exchange, so I am not sure of safety with decentralized exchanges but I do believe that decentralized exchanges (DEX) are more safer than making use of centralized exchanges.

With centralized exchanges there are lots odf things you will have to be dealing with, like account setup, KYC and you're also trusting your money into their hands. And you do know that the purpose of cryptocurrency is to create a payment system that will let users carry out transactions without government bodies and banks. You should check out Waves DEX, it's a partial DEX exchange, another one I regard as the top is IDEx
3917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2019: Which coin is the most profitable? on: August 03, 2019, 08:01:19 PM
for altcoin, I suggest to pay attention to IEO done in finance many new altcoins do IEO on the market, and the profits can reach hundreds of% of the IEO price. when asking about altcoin which is profitable, I have seen it happen several times on altcoin which is listed in binance.
Binance still takes the lead when it comes to IEO platform and when it comes to quality projects being produced through them, and we have so many people that has been interested in IEO, especially that of Binance IEO, but the challenge that we often encounter is not having the time, or having the chance to get an IEO from Binance.

It seems to be that the announcement they usually make ahead of time, is what is actually making people unable to make investment, because every time they announce of launching an IEO project, thousands of people who are interested keeps the date at hand, and thousands of those people immediately go on the platform on same said date to purchase but only few are able to because of the rush for it and because of the large quantities some whales do buy at once.
3918  Other / Archival / Re: Huawei Chinese version of Libra ? on: August 03, 2019, 07:44:59 PM
Well the CEO of Huawei is still informing people of a potential plan to integrate cryptocurrencies maybe into the Huawei mobile ecosystem or maybe into the very fabric of Chinese society. China has been capable of creating and implementing their own ideas and creations and perhaps they are also seeing the potential, I mean Chinese Big Business is seeing the potential of cryptocurrencies to get more profit for them. Well it will be a big hit in China, but I am doubtful if this will have an impact outside of their country.
No, it will not be a big hit, if china decides to create a cryptocurrency now, there is no way that they can even annoyance it to the world to use, because everyone knows their attitude toward the coins that the world actually accepted, I mean bitcoin. China has quite been against bitcoin since it was created, and only its citizens that know its value has been using it, which is why majority of miners are from there.

Their coin will just be limited to their country’s payment system alone, and I already got a hint from a mate that they are working towards having one of their own crypto too. Although we have so many people that like any business that would give them Most of profit, and if china happens to create a crypto that will serve as investment, sure many people would accept it.
3919  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the benefits of bitcoin to my country (Nigeria) economy?. on: August 03, 2019, 06:57:33 PM
There are numerous benefits of bitcoin to your country, but I am sorry to say, but your governments are too blind to this because they are more concerned about government and how to stall funds. One of the benefit of bitcoin to them is that it could crated job, look at when we talk of OTC , there are so many exchanges that could open for bitcoin transactions and they could earn commission for it like they do for some of these pay point, because I visited Nigeria(Lagos ) of recent and I saw the business being rampant.

One of the thing that is also killing the economy of Nigeria is that there are too many middle men always involved in a transaction, but with bitcoin, it could eliminate that and make transaction faster and even more secured than their traditional bank.
3920  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Panic selling and postpone from trading, which one is the worse one? on: August 03, 2019, 02:21:13 PM
I believe that it is up to the trader to decide what would be the best option for them. One other thing you should know is that not everyone that panic sells is selling with loss. There are people who might have invested when the price was around $3000 and then it goes up to $13000 before it starts falling, they might panic sell when it falls to $9000 and I don't see any loss in it cause they still have $6000 on top left. It all depends, everyone has their own reason and I'm not the kind of person that would panic sell when I'm at loss,  I'd rather abandon it there and wait for the price to go up again.  That's why I always mind how much I invest in this.
