A really strange game this one,Arsenal completely dominated the first half and in the second half they were scared to death and they barely managed to pass their own field,this is not a team that is to win any title and I wonder how such team have come so far with these results,they were just under pressure and could not do anything,teams that fight for the title always find the power to fight back.
Liverpool did a super game in the second half and the result should have been 4-2 for them if Nunez and Salah had not lose those gold chances to score but that is football.Now Arsenal has 6 points advantage but has to visit City and Newcastle during these last 8 games and it won't be that easy for them.

Why does it happen always that one of the favorites will lose their game in weekend in all the major leagues but in here it looks like it happens a lot more often.We saw Real Madrid yesterday night and we are seeing Betis not winning against a team near the bottom of the standings which at a certain time they were also in relegation zone.I think that the red card for Betis impacted them but they have better players compared to Cadiz and they are playing at home,I wonder how come they are suffering this much and they are losing 2-0 to Cadiz so far.
Based on such happenings I am betting a lot on Atletico Madrid to win as we had enough of surprises from La Liga so hopefully Atletico is going to win against a really weak Rayo in their recent games.

Well, they do have a manager that is not world class and a team that is not a world class level. Sure they spent a lot of money on Ronaldo, but if I were the owner I would have just hired a much better manager for a lot of money, and also get like 3-4 other players that are good, when you combine all that it still doesn't cost as much as Ronaldo, and the team would be much better. There is a really long time until the next race in Azerbaijan. I'm really disappointed to come across a long break like this so early in the season. It is like a summer break I mean. Anyway I hope that Ferrari make use of this free time as good as possible to make an improvement. Because they look really slow and problematic still. Mercedes and Aston Martin both impress us more.
It is really funny to see Ferrari having the same kind of communication and call issues this season as well. Especially Leclerc must be having difficulties in staying patient despite all this.
Leclerc needs to keep his head down after making a pathetic error already in the first lap in Australia as he is having difficulties with his temperament,results do not come by yelling on radio or complaining there but by keeping your head down and doing your maximum on your part and only after doing such performance then you can ask your team a lot of things but not before doing so.Based on this I think that Leclerc is not a driver who can be fighting for winning Championships and Ferrari would be better in changing their first driver to Sainz who did an awesome race in Australia. |

This season still has an interesting plot. Benfica Lissabon is going to play against Braga and against Sporting towards the end. Now mathematically, if these two games are going to be close or Benfica loses them and Porto do their job, it would in fact become interesting once more. Benfica has to try and not lose those two games or otherwise they could get into trouble, a situation that I suppose nobody here believes to be possible. But the game against Porto could be this kind of key game.
I think that Benfica will go their way against Inter and then they still have the pressure mounting from the Champions League as well while not having secured the Primera Liga title. That can make a difference at some point when they might be facing an injury or another suspension. There is still some hard work to do for them even though the table looks comfortable for now, but those two games against Braga and Sporting caution is required.
I don't think Benfica will lose to Braga and also most likely they will not lose against Sporting either.They are now fully focused on the Champions League encounter against Inter in the upcoming two weeks and only once they would have settle things there for good or worse only then they will start thinking again Liga Portugal,for now they are leading comfortably and their mind and objective for the upcoming two weeks is far away from Liga Portugal. Sporting is playing against Casa Pia tonight which should be an easy win for them,they have not been the most consistent team during this season and their position in the standings is showing just that.Porto started a bit late to do well and as such they have no real options of becoming Champions of Portugal this season. |

Glorious victory from Lazio last night! I've watched the entire game , hoping that Lazio will be able to keep that 2-1 for almost and entire half and they did it! It was a hard working victory , a well deserve one for the players , club and also for the fans. With this mega important victory , Lazio hopes once again for UCL spots and that 2nd place in Serie A is well deserved for them.  Lazio has made good improvements this season to be ahead of teams like inter Milan, ac milan and Juventus. Lazio have put much effort in winning their games this season. I'm not surprised about the victory of Lazio against Juventus, it will be great to see them in the Champions league next season. I also think that Lazio has showed great football recently and I still cannot understand how they were eliminated from a team like Az Alkmaar from Netherlands in Europa League,a team much weaker than them but as soon as they were out of all European competitions they started showing great game play in Serie A.The funny thing is that compared to Inter,Milan and Juventus Lazio has not those quality players that those 3 other teams have but is all thanks from team work and a great winning mentality instilled to them from their coach.I think they fully deserve the second place in Serie A this season. |

Paris was in need of the victory yesterday night and they got it,I don't care much about the performance in the last stages of the Ligue 1 as what they needed were the 3 points and they got them.Lens was coming extremely dangerous and it was only 3 points away before the game of Paris so now they are again 6 points away and Paris can have somewhat more peace of mind.
Tonight looks like an easy game for Marseille but Lorient is a team which plays well at home and the odd of 1.58 for Marseille seems a bit low to me,nevertheless I bet on them as they need to come to second place and they need the win also.

I think they can only try and get this team togheter so they can find a way and play good for the next seasom. For them this season is over they cannot go up or down so it dosent matter anymore If that was the case then it makes no sense the change of coach at this time.If it were only for summer they could have waited with Potter as Lampard showed a really bad Chelsea in the game of today and Wolves won easily against them so nothing has really changed fundamentally for them.Based on the results of Chelsea the coach accepting the job after Lampard should have a lot of balls to accept the offer as he sees what is going on with the team and changing these kind of results takes a lot of time and effort from the part of the coach.I think even next season they will still have problems. |

Man City got a big win against Southampton. I already thought that Man City would get an easy win because Southampton's performance has been really bad this season. Even though they are playing at home but their level is very far away when compared to Man City, who has had a very stable performance recently. With this victory, Man City have managed to cut their gap with Arsenal for the time being, and it is possible that this distance will not change considering that Arsenal has to visit Liverpool. Even though many of us thought that Manchester City would win easily against Southampton, but in fact the match was very tight in the first half. Haaland scored 1 goal at the end of half, and that is changing the scheme of play in the second half. Arsenal and Manchester City's points are currently only 5 points away where Arsenal are still leading. But considering Arsenal's meeting with Liverpool tomorrow, I don't think the 5 point gap will change either. I consider Arsenal to lose to Liverpool even if the chance are equal. Liverpool should be pretty good at Anfield even if Arsenal are still very stable on form in in the last 5 matches. I don't think Arsenal will lose the game tomorrow as their full focus is in the Premier League,they are out of all competitions and these last games remaining in the Premier League for them are finals,each game is a final for them if they want to end the Premier League as Champions this season.Liverpool form is not one of the best with a lot of inconsistency and I doubt they will cause any problems to Arsenal in tomorrow game although anything can happen,it is the same Liverpool who beat Manchester United with that 7-0 tennis result so if they are in a good mood and find playing fun tomorrow they can as well win the game. |

I absolutely agree with this. Red Bull are much more ahead of the other teams now. I wouldn't even be surpised if Red Bull drivers win all of the races this season. However it wouldn't be a very big surprise for me if Leclerc gets the third place in Azerbaijan as well.
Leclerc did an error in Australia since the very first lap and this shows his character in my opinion as he is not as stable psychologically like winning drivers,he did the same in Imola last year,he could not hold the fans pressure and got out of the race almost completely and now in the last race he did the same,this is much different than winning drivers mentality,for example I never have seen Michael Schumacher caring that much about the first lap as he knew the race is long and anything can happen,so Leclerc needs to correct this,needs to be more cool headed otherwise I think he will just continue to be a mediocre driver and not a winning one. |

I thought to be the smartest guy this time as I got 4 correct scores but I saw other people had been in the same level during the games of today,nevertheless I see myself just 7 points behind the 4th place where there is a substantial prize if I happen to be there.My objective for this year has been to be in the prize spots and I believe I will make it to at least the last prize spot in the 9 weeks that remain for this Premier League.
On another note Chelsea screwing up really big just shows that firing Potter was a rushed move and it is not giving the yields everyone was expecting,maybe they didn't care much about the game of tonight as they are focusing all powers on the Champions League but even so still bad bad results for Chelsea.
