Bournemouth does not need any more points as they had already earned enough points to avoid relegation this season, I think the players of Bournemouth might not play this upcoming match against Manchester United seriously and the manager might even field in some youngsters to allow them to gain some playing experience against big club. True, but still I think it's best to have the world cup in a single place. There are so many issues that appear when you host it in multiple countries, and also each country has it's own rules, and laws, visas, etc.
And at the end of the day most of the games will be played in the US anyway, so I'm not sure why Canada and Mexico wanted to be there. Maybe Canada wanted to finally be able to host it, but the other two already have done so in the past.
At least to me FIFA is giving a signal to other countries, they are basically saying we are not letting one of the most powerful countries around the world to hold the world cup on their own and they need to have partners to even have a chance to do it, and if any country wants to host the world cup on the future then they need to find partners as well in order to do so, so I think that from now on multiple hosts will become the norm and we will not see a single country hosting the world cup for a very long time. I think that when it is hosted in a single country is better but usually FIFA has done so when the host country has some other countries near it that love football also,I remember in 2002 this was the case and the World Cup was held in Japan and South Korea and it had a lot of contention because of the referees favoring the host countries in a clamorous way,Italy lost 3-0 to South Korea something which was unimaginable until then.That is why I am more in favor when a single country is hosting the World Cup rather than holding it with other partners which can bring us to this non grateful situations where big teams are out of the play because of referees favoring home countries,it is much better when it is just one home country. |

What the hell, the odds on a City win in the final are currently at around 1.40.
Although I do believe that City will destroy them, maybe some good value bets will be possible on Inter (a draw at half time comes to mind @2.50).
Was there ever a final with such low odds on the favorite team before?
I don't remember a final in the Champions League with such low odds from the years I am seeing it,usually from 2003 I have seen every single of them as before I have not gambled and didn't care much about sports in general.However in these 20 years I don't remember having such a low odd while we have had 1.65 sometime or 1.75 and I think this is somewhat normal but 1.40 in a Champions League final sounds funny . Ferrari just had a "bad" start due to unlucky results, like crashes and so forth, not because their car was bad, that is different. Red Bull could have crashed as well, if other driver hits you and puts you into the dirt then there is nothing you can do, the car is not built to get out of there, it's built to drive on the road, so when you once get in there, you can't get out and your car is gone. This is why it's important to remember that the best thing to do would be making sure that you do not have it again on next races.
We have seen that they are as good as third team and possibly second best team and that means if they can finish the races, both of them at the same time, then they are going to go back to being the second best team in points again.
They also need to greatly improve their tire management as we saw in this last race in Miami that Verstappen just made the stop because the regulation says so or he could as well have ended the race on the hard tire compound as the tires were behaving extremely well and they are very gentle in Redbull while in Ferrari Sainz is complaining every single race for tire degradation that is happening way to fast at Ferrari.I am sure they have a great car and they were about to show us the "massive" performance upgrade before this race was cancelled so we have to wait further to see this upgrade in action. |

Newcastle I think with the win of yesterday game has already secured their participation in the Champions League for next year which brings us back to our initial question of long ago,will Cristiano play with them next season there as this was a clause in his contract with Al Nassr since both teams have close ties together?
I surely wish that he does despite him being old in age at that time he is still Cristiano.There are another two games for Newcastle but I doubt they will have any problems covering those games to get to any of the Champions League spots next season so I am hopeful to see Cristiano again in Europe.

Based on the odds currently available, at least Newcastle are still the favorite team to win but for some reason, I personally am not so sure that Newcastle will win this home match. But yes, even though I doubt that Newcastle will win, but I still believe that maybe Newcastle will not lose and that way, a draw is still possible in this match.
But yes, if I am backing Newcastle to stay in the top four then I expect Newcastle to win. But since I don't expect anything for Newcastle and also for Brighton, I will only consider in terms of their performance in this moment. The season seems more tougher as it goes to an end and the teams to fill up important positions (top 4- champion league zone, top 5- Europa league zone, and the conference league) are already showing himself in the table. According to the statement they have shared with us it looks like it is possible for us to see this race again this season. However the calendar is quite tight you know so I don't know if they would like to make it more difficult for drivers and teams both. But one thing is for sure that this isn't a postponement to a near date as it is rather a cancellation. It is a really unfortunate incident indeed. We have seen so many race tracks under heavy rain conditions but we don't see this kind of emergencies very often. I hope they can solve the issues as soon as possible. It has been so for a couple of days now and the weather with flooding in May is not normal at all for a Mediterranean country like Italy and it is indeed an unfortunate event for all of us F1 fans who think of Sunday without F1 race as a really boring Sunday. Damn, 4:0, nobody didn't saw it coming. What a performance from City, they completely outplayed Real who barely had chances.
Though, Real had one moment that could change game when Kroos hit crossbar when score still was 1:0. And just few minutes later City scored second goal and made Real situation very complicated.

Even before this game I was sure that whoever wins should have an easier game against Inter. Don't see anything that can help Inter in the final except maybe the fact that final is one game. Over 2 games City would destroy them for sure but in one game there is always a chance of early red card or something strange to happen.
