3481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 29, 2023, 07:18:30 AM
Today we have some easy games to predict,at least on paper and the only one which I think is going to be a draw is Crystal Palace vs West Ham as both teams have somewhat similar recent forms, both teams lost in the midweek games but both teams also have won their prior 3 games so for me the home advantage here is almost nonexistent as the last time Crystal Palace won was in boxing day of 2019 at home while the last win of them is in November 0-1 in the reverse fixture so most like West Ham will be for a revenge here as Lucas Paquetta has been scoring goals recently and a draw is the most logical result.

For the other two games I think we all agree they should be home wins unless some nasty surprise happens.
3482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 29, 2023, 06:58:53 AM
Leclerc is probably the best driver in this F1 for the single lap time attack in qualify, better than Hamilton and Verstapper for sure.

I agree with this statement but the problem is that most drivers that are and were World Champions their strength were not a single lap but being consistently fast throughout the race,we have Senna a legend of F1 in which beside having a lot of pole positions he was blazing fast through the races and Donnington 1993 first lap I recommend anyone to check it on Youtube to see him blazing from 6th to first by overtaking the riders through the lap.

I think if Leclerc keeps improving himself to do faster laps throughout the race can have real chances even this season which looks already in Redbull hands to open it up again and we would all love this.
3483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Someone at FIFA/UEFA should do something about the referees on: April 29, 2023, 06:37:10 AM
Should UEFA do something about the referees, these guys have everything in their hand and can make the game go any result..
If UEFA or any other body that is associated with referees decide to begin to discipline and institute strict career deciding punishment for referees who decide to make biased decisions, other referees will sit up and be more conscious of the decisions they take in any game that they are the main referees. The cases of referees in the game who are supposed to be making correct decisions but making wrong decisions is becoming so much, something really needs to be done.

With this post you reminded me of that referee in 2002 from a South American country which made sure South Korea beat Italy 3-0 thanks to him in that distant World Cup of 2002 which was being held in Japan and S.Korea but FIFA soon after decided to ban him after all activities of football including being a referee in his home country after seeing those horrendous mistakes which many thought were intentional as he was bought by S.Korea and this type of action should be still implemented in referees making clamorous mistakes and for me this should start from Spain as there the referees are making massacre after massacre in making bad calls.
3484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 29, 2023, 06:14:15 AM
Dortmund could not defeat Bochum, a side that is 15th in the bundesliga table and has conceded 67 goals in the bundesliga this season, this is the reason why Dortmund cannot win the title, and Bayern continues to win it every season, sometimes even when they are not playing too well like this season. I know Dortmund are still the team in 1st position, but they had to win yesterday to make sure that Bayern will remain second even if they beat Hertha Berlin, but if Bayern win on Sunday they will go top with 1 point. The title is not over anyway, no matter what happens this weekend, but Dortmund don't look serious to win the bundesliga, they are too inconsistent.

It was unlucky Dortmund yesterday as they were disallowed one goal by VAR.Dortmund took it easy unfortunately for them in the beginning and they concede very soon despite equalizing just 2 minutes after the goal they concede. They thought that when they equalized early they were going to win the game and again played relaxed thinking we will win this. However with the passing of time and Dortmund missing many goal scoring opportunities the pressure kept increasing on them and they made error after error which in the end made them not win the game and risk now to not win the Bundesliga,I doubt Bayern will have any problems winning against Hertha Berlin tomorrow.

Pole position for Ferrari, so they were not just rumors, Ferrari improved!

Fun qualify, with 2 red flags.

A fun and entertaining one for real.I thought that Verstappen would win or Perez but Leclerc surprised all of us for the good,I saw some improvement from Mercedes as well.I hope that in the Sunday race because the Sprint of tomorrow does not count for qualification as per the new rules of F1 this season,Ferrari has no problems like last year where both cars had mechanical failures so they could not finish the race.In this very beautiful city track having all the teams fighting for the top positions including the McLaren pleasant surprise will make sure we see a fun and entertaining race also.
3486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Conmebol Libertadores 2023 - Prediction and Discussion Thread on: April 28, 2023, 02:12:11 PM
The Brazilian teams did not start well in this season's Libertadores, Palmeiras had a defeat against Bolivar, which is a team from the Bolivian League, honestly, despite Bolivar being in second place in the Bolivian League, I don't see Bolivar as a much superior team. To Palmeiras, the Bolivian League is much lower than the Brazilian League, I understand that in the Palmeiras game against Bolivar, the Palmeiras player received a red card in the 44th minute and this had a great negative impact on the Palmeiras team and in the minute a following, palmeiras conceded the second goal, but in the 52nd minute bolivar also suffered a red card and with that they also had 10 players on the field

with 40 minutes still to be played and each team with 10 players on the pitch, palmeiras could have at least managed to get out of this game with a draw, but instead of scoring another goal and leveling the game, they conceded the third goal in the 89th minute, With that, Palmeiras lost. then came the second game in which palmeiras won the game, but again it was not an easy game for palmeiras who were losing after just 5 minutes, looking at the current performance of palmeiras, I would say that they would hardly win the Conmebol Libertadores and I also very much doubt that Palmeiras will be able to beat the Brazilian this season

I am sure that the Brazilian teams will recover as their league Serie A has just started with only a couple of games played so most teams have not reached their peak form while other South American leagues are already over 13-14 games and as such their physical form is in much better shape than those of Brazilian teams.I have been losing a couple of bets here by betting on Brazilian teams but I am confident that still Brazilian teams are the ones to beat compared to a majority of other league participants here, only River Plate from Argentina can be a threat as they are good this year but overall the best teams are still from Brazil.
3487  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Another bank again on: April 28, 2023, 01:25:56 PM
The grip of the banks over people is bound to drop over time once people realize the benefits of acting saving or investing your money in crypto currencies.

Soon we will only use them as an exchanger.

I am someone who is already doing it,using the bank just to get my Bitcoin to my VISA card through the bank.I don't do anything else except getting my payroll there which I withdraw the needed money for the month immediately and the rest I buy crypto to keep in my wallet as store of value,as they say banks can always print money making the money you save not be sufficient or enough so what better way than keeping crypto to your wallet which you have full control over and not third party wallets.Based on this I don't care much if a lot of other banks follow this trend, people should start to act smarter.

2) MSRP Reviews = May 24th

3) Release Date = May 25th

4) Above-MSRP models get reviewed a day late!🥳

Where are the RX 7700 or RX 7800 series graphics cards?
AMD is losing competition in the expensive graphics card segment. Nvidia will release the RTX 4060 and RTX 4060ti in May, so AMD is trying to get ahead of the competition so as not to lose ground in this market. It's very curious, but I don't remember such that AMD first released TOP cards, and then the budget segment, and after that the Middle series.

AMD looks like is losing competition for real in all the graphic cards segment compared to Nvidia as Nvidia is working in a much consistent way and they are being loyal to their successful standard as they are naming the cards exactly as their 3000 series and are improving performance and keeping the cost somewhat lower.I am not seeing such a performance from AMD as I don't know what they want to do,in the gaming market they never beat Nvidia so far while in the mining zone they have beat them several times before but now in the latest series Nvidia is also winning in this market. If I had money to invest they would go to Nvidia for sure.

another lose for Everton, and situation is now real grim
our play could be seen as fourth goal that we conceived, Isak rolled down whole our team to get to goal line, that is how we play this season, circling around and cannot get wins

new round starts right away, more matches in this round, and we are facing Leicester in a relegation derby, seems that we are best candidates for Championship, although winner from this one will be in much better position, Southampton is already out now

I think it can be either one,Leicester or Everton as both teams are performing much alike and they are playing pretty badly this year. Most likely this game is a final for them and as you said the one who will win the game will be much better than the other.

While Southampton is already out I don't understand what the f*ck they were trying to do against Arsenal, just removing them of title hopes maybe as they cannot be safe no matter the case.

Also in this round in the pool I thought to have done massively bad but I see all the guys above me to have done the same and we are going to the next round already tomorrow, just 5 to go plus some postponed matches.
3490  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sportsbook offering VAR market on: April 28, 2023, 12:09:55 PM
I don’t think you are making a mistake as thr VAR (video referee) is mainly used in soccer. I know a couple of fiat bookies who offer that but not sure if any crypto casino would also offer that. I would suppose yes as nowadays you can almost bet on anything lol.

really, there are already fiat bookies that offer VAR betting? maybe the crypto bookies will be implementing VAR Betting in the next year if only there is a demand in the casino to add this.

The reason crypto casinos, most of the reputable ones have not done so is because there is no real interest en mass for this type of bet.We have a huge selection already that this is mostly an add on to people who are pissed off from VAR decisions ruining their bets, like the VAR of yesterday night in Ath.Bilbao vs Sevilla where two goals of Athletic were disallowed because of VAR,I am sure not many of us would be betting heavily into such option but of course there would be some who would welcome this add on.For me though since it does not add anything of value to the casino most likely it won't be implemented soon in the crypto casinos.
3491  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: April 28, 2023, 08:14:31 AM
One of the deepest problems of these people is that they are always looking for someone to blame for their misfortunes and nightmarish lives. Now they blame the West, Ukraine, NATO, in the future they may blame putin. But this will not lead to anything, since the very feeling of inferiority caused by the resentment experienced by the whole country does not motivate development (and no protests will help it, especially considering the fact that those protest are far away from beeing full-scale). The point is not that it will be too late, but that nothing will change if they simply transfer their accusations to another facility. Instead of constantly looking for someone to throw off the responsibility for their own problems, they should start doing something to solve them. It is to do it yourself, and not wait for the arrival of the "best ruler" who will clean up after the previous tsar. They need to stop placing their hopes on their superiors and start taking responsibility for themselves. Only then can we talk about some changes in russia.
Experts on Russia pulled themselves into the topic. How do you know about deepest problems of Russian people, did you go to Moscow to work to wash toilets at the train station or build an Olympic stadium in Sochi?

I would change some things in Russia, but not too much. In general, everything is not bad here, there is something wrong in striving for change for the sake of change. sometimes it seems to me that people in the West have gone mad. All these "parent number one", "parent number two", black foot kissing and other gay parades. Fuck that kind of progress. It seems that being a white heterosexual male in the West is now extremely disadvantageous and I am glad that I was lucky to be born in Russia.

That is the only good thing left in Russia, people still love families and degeneration is not as en mass as is in the West. However this does not justify at all going to invade another country just for the sake of it and blaming it on NATO expansion, this was the first reason they started this war after all and now they have failed that objective miserably as they just added 1300 km of borders with NATO as Finland join NATO exactly because of this Russian aggression out of nowhere.

I don't think Russia is in a position to call itself lucky nor their citizens unless they agree to be at least 30-40 years back in technology advancement. The sanctions clearly prohibit Russia advanced chips and they are now looking to buy them from India and China which suck compared to Western quality.
3492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 28, 2023, 07:46:41 AM
We saw a great match between Manchester United and Tottenham. Manchester United played more in the whole match but on the other hand Tottenham managed to draw the match by applying great tactics. It's really amazing to see the Tottenham team come back like this, because in the previous matches, Tottenham were beaten very badly.
I think Man United vs Tottenham actually MU has more opportunities, it's just that Tottenham's defense is very good and Man United can't score anymore goals, only 2 goals are scored and Tottenham have a good strategy in the second half, they become to strengthen the defense and choose to draw compared to having to force a goal against MU but if Tottenham make a few mistakes maybe they will concede again. but I admit that Tottenham had a good strategy in today's game.

Both teams played openly in that game and the result 2-2 is open proof of it.I agree that Manchester United probably deserved the win more and they were just unlucky in most attacks they had.I thought that finally Manchester United would start recovering as their recent results have not been that good but they were also playing against a Tottenham in the same situation as them even worse in my view so that is why in the end I think this was the most logical result for this game.

I placed a bet of all the games of yesterday as over 2.5 goals and the game I expected more goals Southampton vs Bournemouth ended with just one goal scored.
3493  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How Russia is surviving NATO-backed sanctions on: April 28, 2023, 07:14:44 AM
why did you think Nato dislike Russia? Russia self sufficient country, they are contented with all they have. they never invaded any smaller county to steal resources. Russia is the giant of Europe if you ask me. with all the sanctions rebel against Russia they still surviving without asking from aid from any one. i think they are prepared for anything.

Russia does not invade small countries to steal their resources?I don't know what why you say that as isn't Russia trying to get the industrial area of Donbass and some other parts which will make them export their grain in much bigger quantities as the zones they are trying to annex illegally will just give them that, coming much better in the Azov sea. Also in the places they want to annex there is a huge amount of Lithium, which we all know how important is that now for the electric cars which are heavily being spot in European markets.

For all the people here that don't know the sprint race has changed some things and that is the Early Brew Points you get if you put your predictions before today at Qualifying at 15:00 European time as this count as the starting Qualification for Superbru while in reality for F1 this is only made to dictate the places of the cars, how will they start tomorrow in the Sprint race as it will be fun to have such a race in such a twisty and technical track like this one in this weekend,so people do not forget to put your predictions before 15.00 PM European time today or you lose a precious 2 points.
3495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 28, 2023, 06:44:55 AM
Rumors are that Ferrari gained great pace in this mini-break we had with F1 so I'm really curious how they will perform in Baku because usually they had good performances over the years. If they somehow catch a podium on Sunday , I think they will re-become the 2nd faster car after RedBull because in the long run I don't see AM remaining on 2nd place but I do see them securing that 3rd spot over Mercedes.

Yep, I've read the same.
It is quite unbelievable so far they were slower than the previous year, without big change in the regulation

So... The Azerbaijan track is already quite "chaotic" and I think that debuting a new sprint format just now will heat up the disputes a lot.
Okay, the idea is to have more competitive sessions on the weekend and make the two events independent so that the drivers attack more in the sprint, but I think that even with this different format, Red Bull is still the favourite.

In my opinion, Baku's long straights should favor Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez's car, as it generates less air resistance and reaches high top speeds without needing very small wings.
Also speaking of Aston Martin, they also promised a rear wing that generates less drag to try to solve the chronic problem of final speed of Fernando Alonso's car and Mercedes also announced that it would bring news to its car.

F1 is constantly changing so it's hard to talk about favourites, but I still believe in Red Bull.

I didn't know that we would have a sprint race on Saturday and on today we will have the "qualifying" format as how will the cars be up for the start of the sprint race. For me I am always happy when we have a sprint race as especially in this track where it is wide in most places and it can be very narrow at that slowest corner of the season if I am not mistaken near the castle.I think we can see a lot of happening despite this being a small race, the sprint one and we can have a really good understanding of where the cars line up for the race so we can place some good bets and win some money here.

I don't think in 3 weeks though some time to have improved that much to beat Redbull but I would welcome very much if some team has closed the gap to them in a decent amount.
3496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Someone at FIFA/UEFA should do something about the referees on: April 28, 2023, 06:23:21 AM
I didn't lose a lot of money because I had about 10 games on both teams to score so bet little money and the only bets that made me lose are exactly the VAR ones,Southampton and Athletic Bilbao which honestly in Spain I believe referees need to do their course on become a referee again or they need refreshers at least,I still have not forgotten the game Valencia vs Sevilla where the referee after seeing the VAR that it was 100% penalty for Valencia and seeing it several times in a clamorous way he did not give a penalty.

I should probably not play more than 2-3 games per ticket as when we are playing more we forget that there are more referees also and anything can happen.
3497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Someone at FIFA/UEFA should do something about the referees on: April 27, 2023, 10:13:32 PM
The referees are an integral part of any game I know this but tonight happened something unique and very strange,Southampton lost my bet because of VAR as I had both teams to score, the same with Athletic Bilbao as I had it both teams to score and in both cases the referees impacted the game, somewhat more in La Liga in Spain but I had really nice tickets with many other games that were lost only because of the referees wrong decisions regarding me as I saw the game and I think you cannot disallow 2 goals when the cases were to say the least doubtful.

Should UEFA do something about the referees, these guys have everything in their hand and can make the game go any result and I will say again that famous saying from a local coach where I live as he were leading the first place and lost against last place at home,in the end of the game he said explicitly (With this referee even Brazil could not win tonight)?

Russia has openly offered itself to the West since the collapse of the USSR, and with just a little more feeling for its interests,
which the West could then quite painlessly incorporate with its power its strategic interests in a broader sense - everything
could have been different.

Yeah, a little more feeling for its interest - just to unfair, aly preserve its impact on the rest of the post-soviet countries. Let them be independent, but let it be pretended, not real. And we will palm off our pro-russian politicians, influence public sentiment, and split the country from within. Of course, everything could have been different. Talk about everything being different with Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and many other countries.

Russia is isolated completely and they have failed this war no matter how it ends from now.Economically speaking and with the sanctions put to them they need at least 40 years in order to keep up with Western advanced technologies which they have no access anymore as they cannot import vital technological chips for their devices, this alone for me is devastating but the results of such move will be felt with the passing of a couple of years. It will be exactly then that Russian citizens themselves will not care anymore about their government and wide protests will go on,they will see how far behind they will be.They will be poorer and they will blame Putin them but it will be too late.
