It seems all correct to me.

What I meant by committee was the temporary committee idea you came up with (board?)

Will you be accepting or declining nomination for the following? :
PR - by mamamae
Board - by mamamae
Wallet Signer - by vicvelcro

I'm sorry but I have to decline first and second. Of course it doean't mean that I won't try my best to come up and help with ideas for PR.

About Wallet Signer. I thought you already offered this position to Alec?
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LTCD] LitecoinDark.com ★ Scrypt ★ Difficulty Shield ★ Multipool ★ Fast on: November 20, 2014, 11:36:32 PM
ok the world is moving again thanks , bitcoin operated guy
a place in the PR or in any position of the board must be
for you , my gratitute for everything you have done.
thanks ,
this is an idea proposed to me for the community to evaluate:

have you thought about possibly putting
the premine/wallet with funds into an escrow?

i lost contacts with some of my escrow so i can't do nothing
but with multisig we are covered at least .

Thanks for thinking about me

I don't think I have done that much.
Also I don't think I have skills required for such postion.
I am utterly disorganised person, although I enjoy supporting others...
I rather stay and enjoy the position of support I have got now ;-)

Certainly, you have already proved to have good PR and organization skills. You coulb be a member of committee with Alec and Vic
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LTCD] LitecoinDark.com ★ Scrypt ★ Difficulty Shield ★ Multipool ★ Fast on: November 20, 2014, 10:59:48 PM
I accept the nomination to be a dev.
A reminder, I have also been nominated to hold at least the dev wallet and be a signer.

I bought a laptop, some RAM, and an SSD today - specifically to hold the wallet completely separate from anything else. I also bought a couple of USB sticks to keep backup wallet copies in case of hardware failure. I will make a video of the laptop getting the upgrades installed, the installation of Bitcoin wallet, and installation of LTCD wallet.

I propose that Armory be used for creating the address for Bitcoin and for the multisig support. If this is fine, I will install Armory, create the address, encrypt it (copies of password will be provided to devs once these have been finalized), and the wallet will be immediately backed up in a manner that allows for perpetual recovery (read about it on Armory webpage, it's very cool, I use this for my own wallets), copies of the backup will be provided to devs once they have been selected.

If another person is chosen to hold the wallets, I will immediately transfer everything to the new designee and will provide video proof that any remaining backups or paper copies in my possession are destroyed. In such a situation, allow a small window of time for me to record, encode, and upload any video.

Regarding your opinion about transparency - I wholly agree. I intend to post some verifiable information shortly. I will also privately provide my geographic address and direct telephone number to devs and committee members with the provision that those NEVER get posted publicly.

I don't have much in the way of social media. I was a MySpace junkie back in the day. I do have a Facebook that I use, but only a few times a month. I've got a long history in several forums. I can be found using Google search, but I've been careful about maintaining my privacy over the years, so you'll see I've been around and have not changed my online identity but you won't likely find many photos or my phone number spread all over the place. But I've been me for decades.

Atm, Alec Kloss is a candidate and I also mentioned VicVelcro as 2nd dev, because he seems to have good management skills and he rapidly and coherently pushes things through once he arrives at decision.

Robbert agrees with me that both Alec and Vic should be candidates.
Of course, if Vic agrees.

(Also, in my opinion it would be great if Vic made himself more transaprent like Alec did (Twitter, Google info etc ) )

Sounds great and super organised. Thanks for sacrificing your own resources to keep it all secure

Alec has got me on Twatter if you need it.

Maybe we can find someone here for POS   http://www.toptal.com/

Thanks for an idea.
You could find out if they have devs experienced in crypto...

see here
http://www.toptal.com/pos

I see. It may be a solution. Lets wait for responses from other devs first and then we will see ;-)

I have spoken to Robbert on Skype.

I will just briefly write down what I remember from our conversation.

1. Robbert and Xircom are considering leaving the project for now.

2. They will asign new devs.

3. Robbert will sign a contract with new dev to make sure that the project will keep flourishing and not be abandoned.
Robbert and Xircom have put a lot of their work and time in this project, experienced a lot of stress, because of Troll and they wouldn't like this project to go down.

4. Robbert will provide new devs with full access to the code, website, contacts etc

5. We are still waiting for reply from Dogedarkdev regarding POS and TOR. We are not sure if he agrees yet. He only mentioned that he can help with some other features but may not be able to help with POS. We will see.

(I, personally think that Dogedarkdev would benefit a lot for his coin by helping us. We have got massive and strong community and he has got the skills we require atm. We could support and PR each other's communities. It would be a very nice co-operation between DogeDark and LitecoinDark. That's just my opinion...)

Robbert also contacted some other dev about POS (so if you guys know some devs capable of doing POS then bring up ideas).

6. Current, promised features are supposed to be added by tomorrow but the hired dev said that he had a problem with adding one of the features because of some difficulty with the code he encountered after Troll made few alterations.
He agreed to give back a full refund if he won't be able to finish these features by tomorrow.
Then we can use the refund to re-invest it again.

7. The winners of the video contest will be announced tomorrow morning.

I might have missed something...

Xircom it's essentially defending the selling of the MAT the Asics scrypt
that he was doing an android wallet and the usb wallet
can be part of the programming if not PR but looking at the work he is doing
with the MAT is a member to maintain in here .

and for the counterparty option well the coin if and only if was to transfer
now i mean this precise minute on the Counterparty blockchain
would be like an asset and look ,in the wallet used by million of people
the first thing you can see is a list of assets-Campaing, 3 are in first page
for me is the best market now from what price can we start ?
and for the automatic distribuition of the coin must be made a contact here :
http://www.vennd.io/

i strongly suggest if i can't make it to evaluate yourselfs how much can be done just
making a fund for building a 2 gen with this kind of resources.

another merchant in LTCD is even quoted on nxt , i have find it
and is accepting a truck load of coins so probably even if it is in brazil i would buy from it
i need a transcontinental spedition but i'll buy from there.
Kidding :
http://bitscoinshop.com.br/en/content/4-about-us

The Bitscoinshop Store is a company importing products directly to the end consumer. All products displayed in our shop are not in Brazil and are shipped directly from China or the United States to the address of the client.

I've noticed that you have great ideas and you have been doing a lot for LTCD. For example you arranged that Brazilian online store to accept LTCD.
I've had a lot of trouble understanding your English and often do not ubderstand what you are writing. Google Translate is a really shitty method for translating Portuguese. I think that some people on the forum ignore your ideas because they don't understand you :-$

That's why you don't seem to get enough credit for what you do
:\

I missed this post earlier.

I recognize and nominate Alec Kloss (aleckloss) to be one of the responsible signers of the wallet containing dev funds.

I'd agree to hold a sig for part of the dev team

I'm fine with this nomination.

I would also nominate him to join dev team and be core website designer and new PR person if Xircom doesn't show up until tomorrow. Up to other community members to decide what they think about this nomination

Thank you.

Would you please click the google drive link to the document, found at the bottom of the post and confirm that people other than myself can in fact view it?

LTCD - MOVING FORWARD

I submit my suggestion for an immediate (or nearly immediate) to-do list for LTCD before taking any other actions.

This is rev 01 and available for viewing only at https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-jxroBB18zpMklxQVVBOEdCSnM/view?usp=sharing

I'm fine with all the points

Already did. Working fine.
Thanks for compiling all these.

I think VicVelcro would be a good choice for the dev team and to hold the funds... So I nominate him!! We need to quickly sort out who will be on the team... Anyone interested please post your intentions!!

I'm fine with that

I will accept the nomination but with a provision that there never be any objection to posting general inbound/outbound transfer information. I would also like the wallet to be multisig.

What I mean is - Any funds received will be posted with TXIDs and any funds spent will be posted with TXIDs at the very minimum. Also that there never be any question regarding the fact that it would be impossible for ME or any other INDIVIDUAL to conduct a transaction independently.

If the funds will be LTCD, I understand that there is no current ability to support multisig. I still accept the nomination if the inbound/outbound TXID stipulation is acceptable.

If the funds will be in any other crypto that does support multisig, I strongly urge people to agree that multisig be a requirment.

P.S. We need the wallet addresses for POS and whatever else we are funding... I suggest a general donation wallet be started as well...  Who will be holding the funds? I think VicVelcro would be a good choice for the dev team and to hold the funds... So I nominate him!! We need to quickly sort out who will be on the team... Anyone interested please post your intentions!!

I'm fine with that too.

Once the wallet is settled I will transfer my btc. If there will be something left after POS we can spend it for so other developments

And sideCHAIN it is then !

ok so Robbert has some Mil of LTCD at 800 sat ok you are an investor
i want to fill you in the news as anyone else interested
We as community , are making a bounty in BTC to implement pos in LTCD wallet
i'm discussing with other investor that there is a possibility to
make this coin like counterparty , so directly a part of the BTC chain !!!
if you want to contribute pm me.
Thanks for your time.

Sounds interesting. What others think about it?
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LTCD] LitecoinDark.com ★ Scrypt ★ Difficulty Shield ★ Multipool ★ Fast on: November 19, 2014, 07:17:50 PM

Thanks for the support I really appreciate it. A small update:

- I sended the developer a pm about the status of the features and when we can aspect them.
- I sended DogecoinDark a email if he can help out with the development and how much it cost.

Futher I see a lott of people asking about PoS. PoS can be implenmentate on two ways. Only PoS or Hybrid. Problem is we don't have to many coins left so we can make a side chain (no limit) or extend the max coins. I personly prefur a side chain so we can make a higher % PoS but this is to the community to decide.

Also I think the idea of a multi sig wallet is a great way to secure the btc, I will contribute to this funds but will not hold this funds. Soon when I have more information I will keep you updated guys!

Awesome. Lets get this started.

I would prefer the safest POS option for the blockchain whatever means it requires
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [LTCD] LitecoinDark.com ★ Scrypt ★ Difficulty Shield ★ Multipool ★ Fast on: November 19, 2014, 06:19:42 PM
As much as I don't like POS - I agree with you this time. Many people would benefit from POS and desire it.

I agree with your suggestion to pay for development in installments instead of lump-sum.

I stated earlier that I am willing to provide some monetary support (provisionally with safeguards) from my own LTCD - but now I am thinking BTC would be a smarter way to do it. I will confirm right now that I will provide at least 1BTC and very likely more - out of my own pocket - into a fund to be managed by a committee (I would like to be one of the signers but not an absolute stipulation).

I want to communicate with some people about several things hopefully before too many more decisions are made for LTCD future. There are some things I feel need to be mentioned, considered, and addressed. Some things are being overlooked, in my opinion, because too many brains are scattered across several facets of the current dilemma.

TL:DR CLIFF NOTES VERSION
POS - yes
Partial payments for development progress - yes
Me putting up money - yes
Group communication - needs to happen

We must find out if it's possible to apply POS to our coin. I think POS is a priority now if we want to save the coin. It was supposed to be done 2 months ago. I would like POS to be applied by the end of this month.

If we find developer to apply POS I wouldn't like us to pay 100% right away. Just 20% and when we we are shown progress in coding then we could pay another 30% of total payment and then the rest when POS is finished. In such case we make sure that we will get what we want and won't be cheated...

I'm willing to contribute 1btc to hiring and I hope other people will donate too. Maybe Vicvelcro etc.

I'm only willing to pay 1btc if we apply POS asap. I (we) have waited too long

Great, so we have another supporter.

Dogedark dev msged Robbert and asked him to e mail him regarding help in development but have not heard from Robbert yet.

could someone sum up in short whatss going on with LTCD right now?anything interesting on the horizon?

We are waiting for these features to be introduced this week if hired developer makes up his deal:

- Encrypted Messaging
- Stealth addresses
- Mac Wallet

Also aleckloss will introduce new, nice looking website this week.

Also, we would like to hire someone to develop POS for us but we need confirmation from the dev
thanx bud!but looks like some desperation here atm,FUD wars?  Cool

Not really. We just had some problem with development but were are moving forward now.

After dinner I will have a call with Xircom about LitecoinDark and maybe Ghost if he will. I understand that people are angry they lost money but I only spend more than 20 btc on buy support in order to stable the price of LitecoinDark. Below you see a screenshot of my history on Bittrex not spoken about Cryptsy and when the blocks where stuckt. Without this support the price was already much lower. If the community want I will also provide screenshots of this.

http://nl.tinypic.com/view.php?pic=rm5j61&s=8#.VGzK4PmG98E

Now I will like to ask the community to take a look at this wallet. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ltcd/address.dws?36858.htm
You may guess who's wallet this is... and people call me scammer come on!

Just remember you have a Community, Your strength lies with all of us. Lack of Communication hurt the community that is trying to help. Need to be open and keep the forum active. We're here to help and support each other.

I agree. We have had many ideas since yesterday but we need your feedback and being active here. Especially now, in this crucial moment

I see that this is Troll's wallet I guess... Oh well

Anyway, let's move along.

Please let us know what you think about our plan for POS?
Is it possible to add it to LTCD?

If so, would you help us with finding a dev to do it for us through escrow?
We have btc to pay. We just need someone trusted
