43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 15, 2020, 09:37:24 PM
I wonder if the Lakers can still depend their title and win a back to back championship this coming 2021 season knowing that there are no big changes in their line up.
I am not really putting too much money in pre season games but maybe I will try to change my style especially if there are good odds that I can see in the upcoming games.
The comeback of superstars who had been injured such as Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving will stop LA Lakers for a dominance. I still believe that LA can do it but Nets will probably their biggest problem in this season. There are also sognificant changes to the line up of other teams but LA still remain. No wonder if we can see a new title holder for NBA season 21. Anyways, I am hoping that Bucks will continuously doing well after a loss from the playoffs last season.

45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to get something good with training on: December 13, 2020, 09:44:32 PM

You may learn from others experience if you're that type of person.
We may have different experiences in the crypto market but if you're too good as a resourceful person and gathers data from others experience.
You can learn from it.
Learning from environment is a great factor that affects our learning. Every person has the adaptability to learn fron surroundings. As of now, ideas are anywhere in Internet. We can browse and search whatever we want to learn for just a few clicks. Reading cryptocurrency trading technicals and looking for video tutorial was gave a lot of knowledge not just in trading but to the whole crypto world. I learned a lot from internet and used all of them to earn in trading. That is why I am proud that I have learnt so much even I don't paid courses about trading. Learning is everywhere we should just pursue ourselves to know a lot if we want to become successful.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 2.0 has still no Effect on ETH price on: December 13, 2020, 03:05:23 PM
Everyone know ETH 2.0 is recently Passed  and unfortunately I had not seen any positive changes in Ethereum Price .
I am so 😲 shocked that why ethereum 2.0 doesn't effect the price of ethereum just like bitcoin halving effect the bitcoin price like halving make BTC price higher . but Ethereum 2.0 doesn't show anything till now.
Please share your thaughts about this it will be pleasure for me
How do you say so? Eth made an excellent move since the beginning of 2020. The price of ethereum was 100+ dollar only before but it moved up greatly up to 500+ dollars. Eth 2.0 had effect in ethereum price, it pushed the price a lot even we are in pandemic. I am still bullish in the market even the buyers are gradually fading. Hoping that ethererum will break its ath price by the end of 2021.

6. Paid Group
Or simply subscribe to a betting group and play their games strictly.

Insider news is one of the dirtiest thing in gambling. There are matches that are already done and scripted. Therefore, it only an advantage for the gamblers who have sources inside such as paid groups. But for me, it only discredit the sports because they made it already a business. Anyway, if being subscribed at paid group is your advantage to others. Then it is good. But for me, I don't want to dedicate my life in gambling. I just wanna play for fun and entertainment. Besides, I don't have so much strategies to win.
48  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage Bitcoin price risk? on: December 13, 2020, 09:38:52 AM
I have always been interested in derivatives and structured products, and wanted to get community's opinion about how do you manage Bitcoin price risk? While there are different strategies with options, futures, perpetuals, etc., including some people simply ignoring market swings and just forever HODLBTC; with BTC price volatility, it's not that pleasant to see that today you have $1k in BTC, tomorrow it's $10k, and then $500...

There are various researched on crypto derivatives market, but it seams that according to CoinDesk, there are mainly 2 products - perpetuals, and futures (which are nearly same, with exception of maturity), and recently options started to emerge... Isn't that pity that the so-called "innovative finance market" came only that "far" by offering what has been know for decades in traditional ("old fashioned") markets?

If I have 10K usd came from 1k dollar investment. I totally sell all my portfolio and wait until a new crash happens again. The reason why many traders are losing their trades is because of greediness. We feel how easy it might be when we experience a win streak towards our buy and sell method. In result, we think inconsistently making a bad decision from our trades. Cryptocurrency market is really volatile, you may become millionaire today or homeless for tomorrow. In order to become successful, we must incorporate correctly our strategy, emotions into a consistent trades.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be Emotional, Don't be Greedy on: December 12, 2020, 11:11:14 PM
The current crypto market is exciting as everyone is happy that new funds are being pumped into the space, investors are making profits and people are aiming for new ATH for bigger profits. I  remind us all not to forget to take profits, cut your greed and find new opportunities. Never be emotional about any project, buy when it's right, sell when it's right.

Recently, there is a big correction from the market. Bitcoin moved down slightly, breaking the 18K support. It seems that bitcoin news is already done. The buyers are going to be slow and sellers are currently dominated the market. I thought that by the end of November, price of bitcoin will break its ath already since 2017. But I think that the hype is done. Let us hope that this is just a correction because when bitcoin goes down more, it definitely crash again. Crypto market is risky, we have to look for opportunities always and avoid greediness as well.
50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cambodia enacts new laws related to gambling. on: December 12, 2020, 10:24:36 PM
I still believe that 7% is on the higher side, as most of the other nations have lower taxes. But I must congratulate the Cambodian government for the fact that they have legalized and regulated the gambling industry there. Here in India, the government is refusing to do that and as a result the gambling is mostly done underground away from the eyes of the government authorities.
I don't really know what is wrong with gambling, as if other officials in banned countries does not playing gambling. In my country, we are neutralize about gambling. In fact, there is a government agency here that regulates all of gambling site or games. There are gambling games which banned in my country but not all of them. I am happy for the legalisation of Cambodia in gambling. And it is my bad to know how government of India treated the gambling industry. It just prove that India is still close to culture and religion.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin donation vs Bank donations on: December 12, 2020, 09:35:12 PM
That's great comparison.
Bank donations does not have transparency because they are not obliged to make transparency reports for all of the donations they have. Unlike with digital or bitcoin donations, the donators can track the transaction from the wallet they sent the cryptocurrency. The ledger or blockchain technology is helping the transaction more reliable and transparent. You can see how the address spend the funds that they have. You can see it anywhere in globe. That's why when the online selling via btc payment will become popular and all transactions can be done online, no wonder fraud like banks will exist.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin at risk of regulation? on: December 11, 2020, 10:58:05 PM
It might be a threat for bitcoin community to have a full regulation of the government. Many of us here, I know, doesn't want to have KYC process because of security and identity matters. However, if there is a full regulation we can't avoid to pass our identity online. Specially, if the third party wallet will advise to have KYC process. But because of full regulation, we can't deny as well that cryptocurrency community will boost its popularity. In result, users will confidently use bitcoin anywhere in globe.

54  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic will bring more economic progress in long-term... on: December 11, 2020, 10:37:59 PM
We have seen a lot of companies changing procedures and implementing more radical ways of doing their work.
Businesses have adopted new processes and technologies—and there are signs that they may pay off in the future. The pandemic and COVID-19 era could give a rapid productivity growth after the vaccination of the global population is going to end or reach a significant percentage.

Remote working and new systems that help companies being better organized are what businesses struggled a lot to adopt in the beginning of the pandemic. Now this kind of investment is going to pay off.

My company made a huge investment in adopting systems such as remote meeting places, cloud systems that help organizing documents and a way of eliminating paperwork... I believe that this is going to increase the productivity of the employees especially if those go back to work.

Have you seen any changes in your working environment like these?
Although there are alternatives such as integration of digitals in jobs. There is no assurance that pandemic will bring positivity in economuc in a long run. We can still deny the fact that pandemic made the countries disrupted in terms of economic. Works in labors and other induatries forced to stop during lockdowns and employees are still hanging up when they will start again. It might be an advantage for the employees who can work from home but not all are beneficial from pandemic. Let us all hope that this pandemic will stop and normal days will come again.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How to get something good with training on: December 10, 2020, 09:50:01 PM

In order to trading, we must look at how much a coin decreases and increases and within what range this coin is moving in the market. We have to buy that coin after coming within a minimum range. And when everyone starts buying this coin, the coin will suddenly go up and you have to sell it at that time. This way you can easily get 10 to 20 percent profit.
That is pretty logically to think right? But it is only a thinking of a noob in market. The truth here is that, even you think that the price range is at the minimum level because of its past movement, there is always a tendency breakdown specially when the support is being hit and surpass. Trading strategy and indicators should always imply in every scenario. 10-20% profits is good if you can catch the bottom fish as well as pick a good coin from the market.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do not trade Alts with BTC these days, You will just lose on: December 10, 2020, 02:11:46 PM
Do not trade Alts with BTC these days, You will just lose

I do not recommend to trade alts with btc these days otherwise you will be just loosing your money. As BTC hitting its ATH, the prices of alts are dumping even if it is BNB or any other coin whichever was stable in the last months. Just trade BTC/USD only.
Actually, I take advantage whenever bitcoin dominates the market. Just like now, the alts are seem to be recovering from the loss it took when bitcoin pumped hard. I usually but altcoins when bitcoin wildly move the market. Almost all altcoins are moving down if there is a significant move in bitcoin. If we are fear in losing money in trading, we don't gain the profit that we want to have. Trading is risky yet paid a lot. If the price of altcoins are too then it is an opportunity not a loss.

58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another big step to adoption bitcoin from VISA! on: December 09, 2020, 10:43:06 PM
Fintech company BlockFi became a partner with VISA to provide customers with Bitcoin reward besides cash or airline miles. In my opinoin this innovation will be wide spread among most payment systems.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/visa-and-blockfi-to-launch-bitcoin-rewards-credit-card-as-adoption-grows
This is really a big news for bitcoin community. It is just a proof that bitcoin is continuously growing. Big and popular companies are already accepting bitcoin as part of payment system and new digital currency for our era. This huge steps will open a new opportunity for bitcoin as well as other companies to be able to use btc as payment or transaction method. Now, we will see how bitcoin turns into trend in news specially when it hits 20K dollars above. The era for bitcoin seems to be started, hoping all of the users as well as investors of bitcoin will become more happy in it.
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 09, 2020, 09:28:15 PM
Maybe next conference if we have the vaccine, and Fajardo will be back, SMB might give the depending champion some trouble.

According to Coach Leo Austria, the aging of most SMB players is one of the reasons why they weren't able to compete in this All-Filipino. LOL isn't it? It's like Coach Leo just admitted the SMB is trash without Fajardo. If that his mindset then this team, even with Fajardo, is still nothing next conference.

But looking at the positive side, SMB still has lots of caliber players compare to other teams. With Fajardo's possible return next conference, they might reign again the All-Filipino Conference.
In short, SMB depends in Junemar. Without his presence, San Miguel can't go further in series. What Coach Leo said seems to be disappointed for a fan of SMB like me. He totally depends with his players, a coach should always find a way to improve other player skill and game.

Btw, congratulations to BGSM. They get what they deserve to have. Its just being normal to me to see this team again in finals. I hope in the next seasons, we will see new faces holding the trophy in finals. There is no thrill anymore if the team is consecutively win the every series.P. S. I'm not a hater of ginebra.
60  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: does it really make sense trading on Bitcoin? on: December 08, 2020, 11:53:53 PM
You shared your view about how you perceive crypto, holders or traders - fair enough. However, saying that holders follow the herd isn't particularly accurate as a person circumstance is different and maybe holding is the right thing for them. Or perhaps they don't have the time or skills to want to trade.

At the end of the day this is irrelevant. For a market to be stable and prosperous, you need to have a balance, and being a holder isn't necessarily bad and nor is a trader. These are just different strategies suited for different people - take your pick  Wink

What more can I say? Mind your own business, as boyptc also implied. And I guess, everyone should do that. It depends on your preferences how you will attack this market, either you can do your day trading or hold? You can also get profits from intermittent trading, however, patience is needed on this aspect. That's why some people prefer to hold because they have no time to subject themselves in this stressful activity. But if you can handle day trading, why not? Some can really accumulate more profits by doing this activity as compared to those that hold for long time.

+1
We have our own preferences when it comes in making money. The essence of buying bitcoin is simply. You have to buy it low and sell when it goes high. Everyone of us have own way to attack the market, that is why there are many indicators and strategy we can imply in trading. We can become swing trader, scalper, holder and day trader. It depends on where strategy we already know. The fact that we know how to control and earn profits, we can become successful in buying bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.
