Thanks to kactech, for archiving Ken's posts:

CEO delete his posts.
At least one newer quote.
Just in case, an archive.

Since the MSD has halted investment activity, I will revive this thread.

MSD Cease and Desist Order

I feel like this thread could now be used to gather any evidence against Ken that we can. Cross-posting this question below:

I am certain Ken has made hundreds of thousands through salary or even millions from our money.

Does anyone know the original IPO fund addresses? We need to try tagging all outputs....

To what end?  You realize the shares are selling substantially lower than the nickel/share Ken is allegedly obligated to pay out?  That's because folks understand they won't be seeing any refunds.  So what would knowing that Ken sent me, let's say, 50BTC do for you, other than make you feel more frustrated?

If we can find outputs that are likely his hidden income addresses, we might be able to persuade the courts (if any action happens) that Ken is hiding money. Then he can either obey a potential order to release the funds go to jail.

I also created the following 'index' of ActiveMining threads to aid in the sleuthing that is to follow:

This is an attempt to aggregate all of the ActiveMining threads in this forum into a single index.

I have a feeling this may be of use going forward. If I missed one, let me know and I will add.

I would agree.

I feel like there is enough evidence in this forum to show consumer fraud (using the definition below):

'Deceptive and unfair business practices such as [ DO NOT POST SESC LINKS ]false advertising[/URL], fraudulent billing, and misleading marketing...'

I'll see if I can find the original IPO fund addresses.

Is it possible to take legal action against Ken on the condition he is a scammer? In that case can we sue to get everything he owns? All of his other assets? His home?

You need a lawyer.

This.

Even if there is nothing recouped, it is worth it simply to bring Ken to justice. I have come to believe that we cannot just accept the mantra of, 'Oh, it is the Wild West of Bitcoin!'

There is a difference between a high-risk investment and someone deliberately deceiving investors and customers.

Here is ANOTHER company he ran.

This one also dissolved, getting to see a pattern here.

Many of his past failures were uncovered months ago, especially in the unmoderated thread, but I also saw some in the original IPO thread.
Unfortunately the amount of noise from shills drowned the actual information.

This is the truth.

No need to ignore moderated threads, thankfully (can't plug this enough, lately).

Now people can gain insight into what is being censored. I love it!

Saving that, here is a nifty list of unmoderated threads:
Scam accusation thread
Hardware - Magzy thread
Hardware - RoadStress thread
Securities - Crumbs thread

Just ignore all moderated threads. That one lacks on informative content, despite being heavily moderated, compared to for example the unmoderated one, which even has less pages!

However, do not think this is enough - some global moderators like BadBear, Maged and SaltySpitoon have actively helped scammers in the past.

Awesome! Very quick updates.  Cool

Tables are also working (both ways, tables on Bitcointalk.org are now synched and not ignored):

The only unfortunate detail is that the mod uses TH as a table header field and SMF does not, so we can't take advantage of that.

When you contact them make sure you use the phrase "The eagle wishes to be saved from revolving under the maroon bridge after midnight", and indicate to them that you already know the password (which is Efjowa3rAWC#Rq3vAWERC#RXAQ#cq@Rwt).
Thought I should mention that you don't include the '.' at the end but you do include the closing bracket. To make it clearer it looks like this:

Efjowa3rAWC#Rq3vAWERC#RXAQ#cq@Rwt)

Also, make sure you aren't using Comic Sans as your font if contacting them by email. Their automated system can't read Comic Sans.
57  Economy / Securities / Re: [Active Mining] The UNofficial Active Mining Discussion Thread [UNmoderated] on: May 28, 2014, 07:51:04 PM
But did something actually happen?

Not yet; still hoping for that class-action.

I have contacted them, but I wonder how many others have...

The amount I lost in this venture is less than my would-be lawyer costs if I were to 'go it alone,' so I am hoping that something comes out of this Wood Law investigation. I would think there are many others in the same boat.

Has anyone still not received shares to their C-T account?  I submitted a request a week ago, and have still not received anything.  I also messaged Ken, who appears to be MIA.

For what it is worth, Ken said he would be doing the final transfer of shares 'as soon as he gets set up.'

Good luck!

I will be doing the final transfer of shares to CT just as soon as I can get set up.

Ah, thanks for the background info. I was not aware that the paper referenced wasn't even peer-reviewed.

After looking at OP's website, I was a little skeptical; a good chunk of the front page is dedicated to peddling for donations. There's also no contact info to be found.

Just another scam, it would seem. Back to pondering quietly for me.

Don't hold your breath.

The 2011 foundational work was basically a preliminary exploration by researchers not entirely familiar with the methods of experimental psychology. The write-up was informal, failed to describe the method in enough detail to support independent reproduction, wasn't published in a peer-reviewed journal relevant to the domain of study and the work hasn't been pursued any further by the main researcher. I'm not sure of its pertinence to the project other than the spurious media interest it generated at the time.

Cheers,

Graham

The following BB code...

Code:
[table]
[tr][td]Header1[/td][td]Header2[/td][/tr]
[tr][td]Row1[/td][td]dummydata[/td][/tr]
[tr][td]Row2[/td][td]weeeeeeeeee[/td][/tr]
[/table]

...produces this when viewed in Bitcointalk.org:

However, it looks like this when viewed in Bitcointa.lk:

I see that the [ table ] tags are not listed under BB codes help in bitcointa.lk:
https://bitcointa.lk/help/bb-codes

So does bitcointa.lk offer a way to create tables? Am I missing something obvious?
