UPDATE

All 3 machines are running fine and dandy at the moment.

Had to upgrade my home network hubs the old ones where only 85Gig (had them 4-5 years, so time for upgrade) upgraded them to 600Gig and they are running smoother then a babies bottom.

Keep in touch about the next machines either 800's or the 1Th's

Thanks NineLives for the help.

Awaiting Chinese New Year to finish.  Should have great prices to (I hope).
43  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: MiningHardware.co.uk - WORLD WIDE SHIPPING on: February 06, 2014, 11:10:56 AM
Update on the firmware posted on the previous thread,  it's being 3 days running,  no lock-ups (last firmware I would of had reboot it by now)  and it's running perfect and is currently Hashing away as we speak.

Excellent news.

Please can you PM me this version so I can investigate.  I think WillD had a link right?
44  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: MiningHardware.co.uk - WORLD WIDE SHIPPING on: February 06, 2014, 11:08:34 AM
NineLives, the 2 miners you sent me is not as described. I demand a full payment refund, which also includes the shipping it might cost me to return to you. I have consult my lawyer. and I am advised to report your company to the trading standard if you fail to comply. Also I want the refund as bitcoin.

I will send you a formal letter later, detailing the regulatory requirements which you must comply. As your term and conditions of your business does not comply to the UK trading standard.

Woooooww.  Where the hell did this come from?  I've just seen this.

You told me the fault on one of the units which we agreed to swap when UK stock arrives but nothing on the other?  Not even a telephone call?  And the first thing you do is threaten and demand your money back?  I'm shocked.  Call me.  You have our number and launch a complaint properly please so its dealt with in the correct manner.

I will send you a formal email tomorrow. I am not happy that the first miner can't be overclock as supplied, you told me that if I change the clock rate to 1600, this will get me to 230 GH/s, this is not the case. Therefore this item was sold to me not as described. Also the second miner is faulty, and can't even hash at all. I also see that this is not as described. Therefore I also want the refund for this one. I want payment back using bitcoin. I am letting you off, for the waste time I could have had if they are up to the desciption.

Kenshin,  this is now the final time I will reply to your slander and threats.  I think all members of this thread have had enough of you.  Let me make this simple:

A:  no one asked you to do anything.  No one asked you to open the unit and change the fans the very first day you got it?  I did not give you permission to firmware upgrade? I did not give you permission to overclock.  If a customer asks me on how to overclock, I will answer BUT I will follow by saying "THIS WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY".  I remember telling you this but your answer was:  I DON'T CARE. More importantly, when did I tell you this?  In-fact, don't answer unless you can prove it.  I clearly can't remember telling you in writing to overclock and it won't break your warranty.

B:  go read the terms and conditions on our website:  http://www.mininghardware.co.uk/en/content/3-terms-and-conditions-of-use

Do you see where it says +/- 10%.  It means the figure is estimated @ plus or minus 10% which is 207.  READDDDD

C:  why didn't you call me with your concerns or try and contact me regarding and expectation of 230GH/s?  You have my number too?  You could have easily expressed your concern via the correct channels?  I'm not a nasty guy and you pleasantly told everyone here that you appreciated me spending an hour with you via teamviwer weeks ago.  If you approached me with your over clock concern, I would have happily spoke to you.

Finally.  Your attempt of mining bitcoin then trying to offload will not work with your trading standards and law threat.  Terms and conditions were very carefully written and clear.  Any solicitor or trading standards who will have read it would have told you to read and absorb.  Throwing demands like that just doesn't work.
We all know what you did to your miners by telling us all how you customized the units.  How your firmware is custom etc etc.  Kenshin, quite simply, you have voided your warranty a long time ago.  And before you try and delete all your posts; its too late, I already made a copy a few days ago of everything on this thread and I believe the admins will also help to gain any communications if required.

So, I now recommend getting some proper advise to whom ever you need.  The law is also there to protect me from guys like you.  And yes, I understand law very well as we also own a law firm in the family business.
I will now ignore you on this thread and ask that you communicate by the correct channels if you do not agree to your warranty being broken.  If you continue to harass then I WILL pursue further action.

Once again, pickup the phone and call me if you want to express your concerns and options.  That is not hard!!!

New Self Moderated thread open due to popular demand.

A user called 'Kenshin' is trolling with abuse due to him breaking his own miner then trying to claim on the warranty after he advertised how he broke it and quite simply, very very annoying to all members.

UPDATE  16/12/2013

Newsletter  (Know when the site is launched etc):  HERE

OK.  Here is a quick update and I need feedback from our serious miners.

After a long meeting with our accountants and my partner oversea's, this business will be setup abroad and the retail shop will be the potentially collection depot and customer support center.

UK Customer
1st the bad news:  If you choose to collect at the store, there WILL be import tax added to the product.  This is 20% VAT of the miner value.  This is British law and we do not want to entertain or encourage avoiding this.  Please remember, ANY miner you order from any company has to pay import tax / VAT.  You do have the option of ordering online, but the same rule applies.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:  The above does NOT apply to you.  You will be liable to pay whatever tax your country charges, if any.

2nd bad news:  We have no idea at this early stage on how many Brits are serious about buying this miner and how many we need to secure from our supplier (before his fat greedy ass increases the price again)..  and so, the orders for collection at the store will be extremely limited (5 to 10 units maybe, not sure yet). This also means a cash deposit maybe required to secure your miner once they come in.

THE GOOD NEWS:

PRICE:  As an introduction price (and this WILL GO UP in the new year):

120Gh/s   £1,700
200Gh/s   £2,800
200Gh/s   £1,700

Payments accepted Bitcoin & Cash only.
Web-store will be open on the 18th of December @ 8pm GMT for a shipping guarantee of 2 / 3 weeks or your coins back.  The aim however is around 10 days but Christmas break is fast approaching and I don't think that is possible.  Ofcourse, we want to get this miner to you as fast as possible.  If your impressed with the delivery times, you will order again and tell another 10 people.  That's our goal.  Max stock of 200Gh/s (22) and 120Gh/s (14) units ONLY for now.

http://www.mininghardware.co.uk

PLEASE REMEMBER, we are a LTD company trading in the UK with contact numbers. We want to be one of the first retail store in the UK to offer miners quick and continue providing a good service.
PS.  I will be sending a newsletter to the subscribers in 1 hour.

WORLD WIDE SHIPPING

Hi guys..

A new online UK shop is opening with the opportunity to buy miners starting @ 200Gh/s and a delivery aim of 2 to three weeks (NOT TWO or THREE MONTHS!!!).

http://www.mininghardware.co.uk
Launch:  Estimated 21st December 2013

There will be contact numbers available and collection from the retail shop in Lancashire UK.  Shipping worldwide will also be available.

Prices are NOT concrete but will be around £2,600 to £3,200 (ESTIMATED!!!) for the 200Gh/s.  Faster miners are in development.

I am a part business owner and it will be my responsibility to offer help and support to the best of my ability.
This is NOT manufactured in the UK and the first model is based on the 'Avalon ASIC Chip'.

I ordered some HASHFAST BabyJet miners a while ago and yep, delays after delays....  I'm sick of being a mug with suppliers and their fake promises and so, I start this venture hoping to offer miners with a TRUE delivery window and not sit on them and mine (like most suppliers do no doubt).  This new business model is based on 'NOT HAVING TO FRIGIN WAIT'.  Estimated 2 or 3 weeks.  When ordered, you will get a delivery date or a refund.

More information will be available soon.

UPADTE:

Please keep in mind that they may turn on and off as testing continues:

https://ghash.io/ro.html
Username:  iEKOS
Password:  1234567890

Units can also be overclocked and yet to be tested. Currently running at standard clock speeds.

Many many many times we have all told you Kenshin to seek legal advice.  Go seek legal advice and please stop with your aqusations.  We all know how wrong you are and fed up with your lies. Once again, please seek legal advice.
51  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: MiningHardware.co.uk - WORLD WIDE SHIPPING on: February 05, 2014, 01:20:35 AM
Dear Kenshin,

There is nothing to worry about.  All I meant was a legal blunder you made regarding Data Protection.  You may be visited by the Police any day now.

Since you sent the letter, I've now instructed our Solicitor to also contact you regarding the Slander and Lies that has caused loss of business you put us through.  They have been monitoring this forum very closely.  This is not a threat and something should be in the post very soon.  I choose to take this avenue due to your claims of having millions of pounds worth of projects which tells me your worth perusing.

Thank you and please sleep well, no violence or physical harm of any sort was ever intended.

Will you align your price with your competitors at 1.45BTC ?

- Ant : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=448425.0

You really need to decrease your prices now.

I cant just yet. Taxes are killing us.  Also, noone can offer warranty through a retail shop.  This also costs allot of money Sad  If I can save money for you guys I certainly will.

55  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: MiningHardware.co.uk - WORLD WIDE SHIPPING on: February 01, 2014, 01:29:00 AM
Guys,

I no longer want to associate with Kenshin.  He has upset me enough with his slander for me not to associate my self with him.

Kenshin got offered a role as a technical consultant who would offer help for new miners if people could not setup, for a small fee.  I simply can not find time during the day to help those who have issues within 7 days of purchase, thus Kensin at the time seemed cool.  After all he has said and done, I will never really trust the guy again (though he can actually be a nice guy if he stops with the mood swings / random burst of bullshit and tantrums like a little girl). PS, cause of this comment, he's gona do another mood swing I guarantee, and this is why no-one can work or tolerate his behavior.

A person can build a great reputation on this site by trying to help the community for free.  No one should need to pay for help within this still young Bitcoin world.  This is unfair.  And if Kenshin chooses to help members then that is off his own back and well done to him if he does.  He would become very popular and respected.  But, as you have seen, he simply can't keep his bullshit to himself and greed / demands kick in.  But, its not too late.  A reputation can be repaired easy and trust can be placed once again.

Back to the firmware discussion:  Once again, and I am sorry to say and remind people of this but if you choose to do a firmware upgrade and it does't go according to plan, then you revert back to the factory installed version but this also means your on your own.  If there is a problem then you must contact support and report it and ask permission before messing with the firmware / hardware.  This can really break your miner if its not done correctly.  This is also unfair on my company who ends up picking up the pieces with costs spiraling out of control.

That said, I want to help as much as I can nps.  I have submitted a latest custom firmware request from my partner and he will investigate BUT the Chinese New Year Holidays are upon us so it won't be any time soon.

Hope you guys understand where I'm coming from Smiley

Kenshin,  once again, you have done this to your self.  Please stop harassing, slander, and puting up fake scam threads.  Everyone has had enough.  Please don't force me to take action.

Kenshin,

You have posted a customers personal details.  Do you know how much trouble you've got your self into.  You've just broken quite a few DPA Laws (data protection) by posting somones email and mobile without that persons permission.

Someone had to PM me to point this out as your on ignore.

It's time to take some action.

You are still at the same address right?
58  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: MiningHardware.co.uk - WORLD WIDE SHIPPING on: January 30, 2014, 03:55:52 AM
so when will the 120GH/s units arrive?  I didn't see a schedule or guess as to when that unit was to appear....

any guess on price?

NineLives, can't believe your patience and willingness in dealing with someone who is obviously litigious and juvenile.

Hey,

120ghz is end of life and we won't be getting any I'm sorry to say.

And thank you for your comments.   I work my ass off to make this work then people like him try pulling me down.  I've been in business long enough to handle it I suppose.

PS. Believe it or not, Kensin was a nice guy but these childish tantrums kick in.  God knows what started all this.  I think it might be Willids firmware find that took his glory or something. He has done this to himself.  Oh well.
59  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: MiningHardware.co.uk - WORLD WIDE SHIPPING on: January 30, 2014, 03:49:27 AM
Guys, just ignore him and I suggest you just leave him some feedback on his trust banner.

He clearly has a problem somewhere and he needs to deal with this himself.  Its completely pointless arguing with him.

Please try not to respond to his accusations.

Kenshin, I can no longer see you're comments so just do whatever you got to do.
