So I'm seeing where my miners failover to eligius every day, sometimes multiple times. The default pool is CK. Is any one else having issues like this? Overall I think I'm getting close to the stated hash, but hate seeing the failovers.
Yes same here. It seemed as if the problem had been fixed the prior couple of weeks but the end of last week and this week they are constantly failing over to backup. I also mine CK/Kano's pool as my primary. |

What happens on rented westhash traffic if the pool is down? I'm in a second solo mini-pool sending rentals here after the last run and am wondering if all that is now being wasted on blank?

Maybe they were cutting costs, and now all Neimeng miners are at Chengdu? Always ready to spin conspiracy theories since no one, that's speaking up, seems to have a miner at Neimeng now. I wonder what the actual different is/was.
What else would explain these problems except too much data trying to get down a pipe that's too small?

You guys rock! I have a quick question. Are there known issues with the s2? I'm asking because I just got one and it refuses to connect to the pool. Is there anything I can try or should I just point it at ck pool? Again, thank you guys, for all that you do.

I have received a compensation for lost time (haven't been able to verify yet if it is correct) and the equivalent hashpower at hashnest for my hosted miners.
BUT: this is not adequate compensation: the value of the S4 hashpower they gave me is inferior to what I paid for the acquisition and shipping of the miners to be hosted at Umisoo. Furthermore, functionality is reduced, I cannot mine the pools of my choice anymore AND I cannot claim my miners to be sent to me when I choose to.
So overall, they are stealing from us. I am going to talk to a lawyer about this, no way will I accept their offer without protest and I guess anyone else involved should do the same!
I agree with you 100% but unfortunately you will only end up spending a lot of time and money and be no better off. Go read through the ASICMiner thread and see what hose guys are going through so it could have been a lot worse. I figured out what price I would accept and just dumped the hash (maintenance is already above the 65% mark on S4's) or trade it for some S5 hash, I dumped because personally didn't want anything else to do with them. If they had agreed to ship them back to us we would be out shipping and probably have gotten a very used pos. |

Logged into Hashnet today US CST and while my hash isn't there yet the balance I had on Umisoo and then some (compensation) is in my Hashnet wallet. I had emailed Umisoo and Janet again yesterday and they she said the transfer should be complete today or tomorrow.

Logged into Umisoo and my miners are no longer listed under the manage tab. Checked my hashnet account and no listed hash. Hopefully something will happen this week.

I was considering going with UMISOO contracts through bitmain/hashnest, but it seems reputations are in the air until this is resolved. Waiting for a good outcome on all this mess before I pull the trigger on more risk.

Did anyone have their hashrate transffered to Hashnest yet?
Not yet. I emailed Bitmain and Umisoo yesterday and got an answer from both to have patience transfer is being worked on. F Patience, how hard could it be? And now there is some kind of sweep the tomb holiday which shuts everything down for 2 days. |

Any special settings for Prismas and Tubes using AM's controllers?
No. Either they work, or they don't. ckpool was updated with changes a while back to fix problems with certain hardware that didn't work properly with stratum, but it would seem that they keep breaking the stratum rules and problems still exist. -ck needs someone to visit IRC and go through debugging the problem with the hardware so he can implement more work arounds. He's unavailable for that at the moment though, so will need to wait until he can. I tried different ports to no effect. I have to agree that Bitmain needs to shoulder some of the blame. Bitmain recommended them for hosting at my time of purchase and when we were several days into he blackout I emailed Janet with Bitmain and while she was very responsive she basically repeated what Umisoo did advising they were doing maintenance to be patient.
Bitmain obviously had negotiated a deal with Umisoo so that would have been a good time to shed some light on what was happening and possibly even give us some choices. I too hosted and paid Umisooo rates because I want to mine whatever pool I choose and the antpool isn't one of them.
