42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchange trading Question. Anyone? on: February 28, 2019, 08:28:34 PM
One way to look at it is how the market is willing to offload some of their holdings (e.g. DOGE) in order to participate on other fast movers like Bitcoin. It's just two things when Bitcoin is having a price rally, if Bitcoin goes up and some coins goes up as well then we see that BTC has influenced some of the coins in the market to go up with him. But if Bitcoin goes up and some coins goes down then the hodlers of these coins have sold their position to participate in other cryptocurrencies. Typically coins who don't really have any worth at all are the subject to this kinds of bull runs.
Long story short: Money flows among bitcoin and other coins. Why does it flow between Doge and Bitcoin is not the right to question. I prefer to look in the bigger picture and understand the main idea without any additional noise. Money flows to bitcoin from altcoins because there is no other possibility other than intervening by big financial institutions.
43  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance website Network Unavailable? on: February 28, 2019, 08:18:09 PM
The network is back now and probably they were carrying out some sort of maintenance or it might be a short network Jam, this happens a lot sometimes when number of people expected to use or visit the website over shadow provision made in terms of bandwidth which will require upgrade as soon as possible. So, what to do when such happens is to wait for 24 to 72hrs before concluding on that thing you and I know was running through your mind when you notice. LOL. I am sure you have lots of coin stocked in the binance wallet.

I do not have much money in my Binance account. But I am learning. It was the first time I ever saw this alert and it persisted for 30 minutes until the alert went away.
Next time you can check any site with this online site for being sure: <downforeveryoneorjustme.com>. 30 min is nothing if you can feel the pain of traders that suffered from exchange hack news. At least you go forward according to your plan, don't care about negative opinions of others.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STO's are not cryptocurrency's on: February 27, 2019, 10:29:15 PM
yes you are right, because that's why many new projects are still using ICO to collect development funds. STO may be good because investors get guaranteed funds they invest. but we cannot get tokens or coins from the investment.

Yea I see a lot of talk about STOs being the new ICOs when in reality they won't, technically impossible for it to be so and if we had so many ICOs and alot of it was just copy of the other how many of these STOs will be able to come up with their own unique ideas and tech? Just because a project is a STO does not mean it will have real value also or serve a true purpose.
STOs don't have any advantage over ICOs for small investors(under 100k$). ICOs can compete with STOs without any regulation and actually regulation lead to more delay for projects. If the project already reserved the unique patent then the way team choose for crowdfunding is absurd. Real value is all about working product and how team stated on a whitepaper for applying these ideas to the mentioned problem.
45  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are traders born or made? on: February 27, 2019, 10:23:28 PM
They are made of course. I don't believe in people who were born to these or like that. Maybe some were really good at it but they gave passion and dedication on what they do so that is why people think that those people are born to do those things. But a trader still needs some required abilities to handle it.
Yeah they are made as when people get mature so they start making research and this way even a normal person can become a good trader, but in some cases I have seen when a child start learning parents start sharing with them about trading skills and even at age of 10 they use to learn so many things related to trading that can help them to become expert trader.
For example,Vitalik Buterin who created ETH said in the interview about his childhood skills which he learnt from his father. For small kids, there are different versions of financial games and these games can teach the kid how to handle cash flow. After having knowledge about financial literacy, a kid's future is bright as a trader.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Best Cryptocurrency Exchanges for Crypto Trading in 2019 on: February 27, 2019, 10:20:30 PM
For a current situation, Binance and Bitmex can cover the trading needs but alternative exchanges should take this competition seriously. After analyzing the fees,Binance beats others in both terms of price and time. Do you have any suggestions regarding the exchanges that it is possible to convert crypto to fiat or another way around?
47  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to keep your balance stable on Bitmex? on: February 27, 2019, 10:17:28 PM
it will be better if the results of your trade on Bitmex are not stored on the exchanger. because the Bitmex exchanger has no coins that can make your balance stable.
Immediately move your assets to other exchangers that have FIAT currency pairs.
Every time moving funds from one to another exchange will give a headache to the trader and this is not a feasible solution to the mentioned problem. Instead of fiat currency pairs, only using the hot wallet for trading purpose can holding rest on desktop wallet are better clarifications than paying high withdrawal and taker fee on exchanges.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Netflix to make a documentary about the altcoin side of crypto on: February 27, 2019, 10:14:37 PM
This is going to be interesting. I can sort of already guess what scenes are going to be shown.

1. Person X invested in some altcoins at the beginning of 2017.
2. Person X earned huge amounts of money due to the bull run.
3. Person X invested a lot more in the end of 2017.
4. As the price continues to go down, person X bought a lot of dips.
5. Now in 2019, person X is now financially screwed.
You described the faith of new traders who joined after June 2017. The same story can be applied to stock market booms and a crypto market is just a tool for average people for getting rich quickly. Modifications can make the story more interesting: A person who bought during ATH in 2017 divorced and he is on the last step before attempting to suicide.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for when Getting Stuck on: February 26, 2019, 07:40:44 PM
Yesterday I placed a trade and was aiming for just a 1% profit on the trade. I left it hanging and the trade it did not clear... Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

It's still just sitting there and it is way below my target price.  DO you just sell that thing and start over?

DO you hold on and just... wait???
Depending on the situation it is hard to sit tight and expect a positive return on every trade. Expert traders always advise to trail trading stops before it was too late and there are some indicators for this purpose. Why didn't you make lower target below latest resistance line? Starting over is best option considering situation based on your opinion.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO still have huge chance of surviving on: February 26, 2019, 03:32:15 PM
ICO's are not paid like it was in 2017 yes when cryptocurrency was in its peak there was lot of excitement for the investors as well as for the bounty hunter's but these days it is not as we expect. Especially in this tough market phase its very hard of surviving also ICO's need to come with a different options which will benefit the Investors.
ICOs are not behaving honestly to investors like in old days. So let's don't blame only one party. Market cycles are not a mathematical problem and it is harder than the previous day to understand it. Bounty hunters wanna to take advantage of marketing campaigns but they mainly sell directly to first buy order after listing on exchanges.
51  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Opinions of People Like Yours on: February 26, 2019, 03:27:55 PM
You already have lot of knowledge about cryptocurrency abd how to trade it. All you need to do now is to be more familiarised with it. You might also wabt to discover other crypto to be trade as well. Join campaigns if you want other stuff to earn with.
Same rules are applied here also but there are big differences between other financial markets.  For earning extra btc, joining bounty campaigns is good idea but bounty hunting is outdated nowadays. Crypto markets are volatile and illiquid so only having knowledge is not enough for reaching goal.
52  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Do you exchange gift cards to BTC? on: February 26, 2019, 03:25:22 PM
For grabbing cheap deals,i look for easy solutions to purchase item. Gift cards are cheap and it is affordable than paying directly to shopping site. There are dark assumptions about these cards and it is not recommended to believe blindly to every reseller. Anyway, nice idea for making things affordable!
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where do we go from here on: February 25, 2019, 08:25:05 PM
Market is stable now. But analysis says that market can go down if BTC don't cross $4k again. Let's wait and see what happens.
The latest market movement was bull trap and there are no clear signs about bull market. I have no idea about why people call this activity the bull market but people are in hurry for accepting such decisions. Let's see what is going on and what will happen after bull trap.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to ICO if....... on: February 25, 2019, 08:21:19 PM
I'm wondering what will happen to ICO if bitcoin goes back to 1000$ plus per one to find its bottom? Will ICO start dying off ? Cos presently ICO is already suffering from market condition and I'm wondering what ICO fate would be it bitcoin falls further ,any thoughts???

If you imagine the scenario of the fall, I think it would be a disaster. What will be sad not only for the ICO but also for most of the existing projects in the cryptocurrency market.
Idea is to help to ICOs before it was too late.  I don't disvalue the power of cryptocurrencies but main projects understand the power of bear market. ICOs will not be successful if there is no possibility about the bull market. The fate of bounty hunters is depended on the conditions of the market.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I won't give up on: February 25, 2019, 08:18:27 PM
I won't give up, never.I think that crypto is the only way and it doesn't matter if you invest, do airdrops or bounty or so on, you are accumulating and maybe one day your cryptocurrencies will worth a fortune.I am here for the tech and profit and I will not stop until I get to my goals.
Trying your best for achieving the best is good idea but let's don't forget about the possibilities of real markets.  Bounty earnings are not serious amounts and giving privilege to these bounty hunters will destroy the credibility of that project. Cryptocurrencies are not there for getting rich overnight.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing cyrpto for clients on: February 25, 2019, 08:15:51 PM
Force your clients to get a hardware wallet and then give you the public address. It is easy for you to deposit the funds and track it on explorer, while they hold the keys and the physical wallet

Whilst I appreciate you taking the time to reply, you haven't actually read my original post or subsequent posts. For the umpteenth time a hardware wallet is NOT a good enough solution.

I can't understand why you refuse to use hardware crypto wallets for your own or clients' safety. Maybe, you have no idea how safe is to use this wallets or your imagination about hardware wallets is limited. Just give it a try and you will not regret it.
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on: February 25, 2019, 08:13:30 PM
Which is more crucial HODL or Short Trading ?

Hodling is boring. Trading or speculation is more attractive
That is truth.  Holding is really very boring and it is very important you should know that you make much profits  day trading than holding.  Many traders makes much profits from trading than trading just that trading makes you too active than holding.
Day trading requires more activity than holding which requires to buy and forget about your coins. Trading is tough and it is mandatory to stick the rules before you make any mistake in your portfolio. Many traders prefer to hold than trading it actively,so let's take it seriously.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What approach/methods will you use during the next BTC Bull Run? on: February 24, 2019, 09:50:18 PM
I am wondering what I will do during the next bull run.

Here is one idea:

Buy $XXX amount of Bitcoin every increase of $1,000 and HODL until a certain limit.

Or

Buy $XXX amount of Bitcoin every increase of $1,000 and then Sell for profit.

What about you? Cheesy
Why do you set the limit for entering to trading position? If you have a deep feeling then go and buy BTC. 1000$ increase on prices are good for early buyers but i can't say the same thing for traders that entered to trade after movement. I mainly sell after such events. Waiting for settled dust is better option if you have no idea what you are doing in front of the monitor.
59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHY THE SUDDEN DUMP WITHOUT ANY MAJOR NEWS? on: February 24, 2019, 09:46:40 PM
Over the past few days, there  was a  significant rise in most of the assets on the crypto market including  the altcoins. For instance the value of Ethereum  also rose alongside bitcoin. It has become rather strange to me that there has been a sudden fall also, I don't know if some major traders or whales are playing mind games with amateur traders. Most bullish and bearish runs comes with a major news but this case was different.
Long story short: Lack of interest. Institutional investors are looking for liquidity which doesn't satisfy them currently. Major news affects prices but this doesn't mean only news can cause wave on graphics. No need to for drama. We can ride these waves without emotional connections. Traders already left the party and who cries are the ones who late to the party.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: The slow 5 days of green ended in less than 5 hrs. on: February 24, 2019, 09:42:39 PM
I thought the slow price increase of Bitcoin is a sign of a Bull market but I was wronged, it happens so fast. I'm deciding to invest $1000 yesterday, thanks God I didn't. It seems spike increase nowadays are so scary as it follows a downfall afterwards.

New strategy learned, ride the slow price increase and wait for the sudden price increase within a day then sell  Shocked.

It still could be good decision all matters is time in what you want to cash out because its bad 5 hours later but 15 hours later it could be good decision.
You never know, its market. I too rided on waves of bitcoin price many times with different approach but its all random you will realise and good decision are as random as bad ones Tongue
Lol.I also accepted similar decision after during pullback to latest pump bar. Random trading also requires to think differently than competitors who are still busy with collecting btc. Hodlers are strong and they will not regret with this decision. Anyway it was nice to see some movement on the markets.
