21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO makes me sick on: July 27, 2019, 09:17:32 PM
Generally, we all know that the Cryptocurrency market is down and most of these ICOs will just have to raise fund to fund their projects. So when everything is down now, it's hard for most of them to get enough fund and may lead the particular project to downfall.
Even if the market will rise, I believe ICO will not recover anymore, people will not invest in ICO regardless of the market situation as IEO is here replacing ICO.
IEO replaces ICOs and it is a good sign for the healthy market conditions. I don't think, exchanges will scam the token sale participants and it is more secure to send the funds compared to the vulnerabilities of ICOs.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your private keys on: July 27, 2019, 04:45:30 PM
From my expertise, having a water-fire-proof wood box will be enough for storing the private keys. Otherwise, it will become harder to hold the private keys without any potential danger to its existence. Instead of storing on the big exchanges, I go for the hardware or desktop wallets. Both options are secure than holding on the exchanges which dangerously open to the hacks.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How does a perfect Bounty Campaign looks like? on: July 27, 2019, 04:35:52 PM
Bounty hunters know the ways of choosing the best bounty campaign. Perfectionism is not good and bounty hunter can get nothing if he keeps digging for the best bounty campaign. In my opinion, there are more useless projects, bounty campaigns than the required for the crypto ecosystem. Bounty manager usually chooses their side with team and campaigns participants blame the bounty manager from my experience.

25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: please recommend some Altcoins on: April 02, 2019, 08:19:16 PM
ADA,XRP, XML

There is a huge selection of coins on the cryptocurrency market.
If you choose from the Altcoins, I prefer Ethereum.
It shows itself very well in market fluctuations, and also keeps your investments safely from market volatility.
Well, for small investors playing it safe is necessary. Eth is not as volatile as small marketcap altcoins.  Investing wisely is another discussion theme but they need to adapt to the old system for reaching their own goals. Market fluctuations will change the price direction and it is time to choose the side.
26  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market is back? on: April 02, 2019, 08:15:05 PM

This recent price increase was nice. But I wouldn't be so sure that this was really the complete turn around. BTC now definitely needs to sustain this price level and not dump again in the next couple of days.
After crossing the 3800$ resistance level price change was expected for either side in my opinion. If BTC price can cross the 4800$ and hold above this level for weeks then we will easily call this bull run due to the next target(5900$). Current support levels are weak and it can easily be whipsawed by main manipulators for fake-outs. Just my 2 cents.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers will go after IEO soon on: April 02, 2019, 04:00:53 PM
A scammer will always be a scammer and they have plenty of ways on how to scam people.
Joining IEO on popular/major exchanges is the only safe way I could see to avoid being scammed.
Unfortunately, educated scammers know human psychology and they are able to use social engineering tools for fraud. IEO will definitely decrease the scamming circle but big exchanges only accept the token sale offers from the reliable team.s Last Celer token sale in BInance Launchpad is a perfect example in this case.
28  Economy / Speculation / Re: Today Bitcoin Price Huge Up !!! on: April 02, 2019, 03:50:41 PM
We went from 9 Billions to 16 in volume. And it doesn't seem to be over yet.
I feel a bit unlucky though as I was gonna invest a bit of cash today. I think I will anyway.  Grin
Difficult to know what will happen short term, but it might be a good idea to wait a few days as the price may well retrace a bit.
It's notable though that 200 say moving average was recently broken with this price swing.

Also just for fun -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GpFB6vXkmg
I also watch closely the 200-day moving average indexes for catching the start points of a possible trend.
After the broken resistance levels it will be easier to manipulate the sell orders and make a suitable situation for big buyers. Liquidation or trapping the sell orders will take days and possible retraces will help to catch it.
29  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what kind of trading will suit for me? on: April 02, 2019, 03:46:14 PM
Update:

I made my decision into start crypto to fiat trading and vice versa on localbitcoin after seeing that my country don't have much traders but there are many people want to buy and sell bitcoin,so I will try for a month now since I need to built reputation on LBC to get more trades.
There are online trading communities for crypto traders no matter beginner or advanced level trading experience you have. By the way, Cex.io introduced their new CEX crypto to crypto trading platform and fees per trade are affordable. Demo accounts will motivate you to learn the basics of crypto trend trading but it will take time to cook your "balance".

31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: small gains but cant make it big on: March 04, 2019, 11:39:41 PM
Been involved in the crypto market about 18 months and getting back into it this year after not doing much at the end of last year. I am trying to figure out the best straggly for building my portfolio with the aim of 20x my investments is euro terms by year end by trading, long term investments or staking
Since doing more trading in the last few months I have noticed a pattern. I seem to be able to double small investments in shit coins quickly like in a week or so and get 30-50% gains in a few days but cant compound that long term or with higher amount of cash. When I say low amount of cash I mean like 50€. I have one investment of 50€ and based on current estimates I should have doubled that in a few days
Now obviously if I could compound that weekly or monthly it would be amazing but cant do it. Heck even if I could double €1000 every month and remove profits it would be life changing.

Any advice on moving to the next level or what I need to look at in order to reach my goals
Sustainability is important in trading and past performance doesn't guarantee the same results for the future. Better to learn how to improve your trading style and more importantly try to cut unnecessary trades, so focus on main trades based on a trend. If you can try to spread your balance on several small trades and see how it goes. Doubling the balance every month is a myth and almost impossible. You should prove that last performance didn't happen for a symptom called "newbie luck".
32  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would like to start trading. Looking for tips!!!! on: March 04, 2019, 11:34:24 PM
Learning how to trade is to have a strategy or plan. You can not learn that strategy if you don't go through demo trading. The demo trade is more of an artificial money but with real platform or channel for trade. If you finish building a strategy, you can nowgo on real and practical trading. I wish you luck.
Demo trading is useless because demo accounts don't give the same feeling when you decide about trading positions. Real traders always suggest to test the real trading platforms with a small balance and you will get the idea what it looks like to trade with emotions for your own money.
In my opinion, I don't think it is useless to practice trading with the use of Demo because knowing how to trade is a different things from knowing how to control your emotion while trading crypto currency. Demo trading work for me at the beginning of my forex trading career and I believe it can equally work for this newbie.
Let me don't agree with your opinion. Demo accounts don't teach anything except the opinion of how platform looks like. Demo accounts have fake numbers and typing random numbers don't require experience, money management, emotional control. Mastering trading is only possible after mastering yourself as a trader. If a trader can't accept a decision about his money with emotional control then he is not able to trade with real money. Real trading is hard due to the emotions of human and mastering emotions is dependent on your ability and experience. Forex trading is not as volatile as cryptocurrency markets.
33  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm so happy to receive a reward on: March 04, 2019, 11:28:58 PM
I understand this feeling, having been there before. But the basic question remains, "what is the value of this airdropped coin?" Most of these are more often worthless. Nothing good comes cheap.

Roll Eyes I also feel your pulse. Perhaps you had high hopes with some of those airdrops coins that don't exist again or were not able to be listed. I do believe that with time, they won't find newbies that will even sign up to them.

But as you go along the way and mature you will understand better that majority of them are going to be worthless.

That is the point. Soon some team member will start giving up, telegram group not so active and finally, coins dying off. I prefer saving up cash to buy some established coins with prospect.
May of them are worthless now and some didn't distribute what they promised hunters at the end of the day. So many telegram group are no more active even their admin are no more responding to questions from hunters expecting airdrop and those who promote their products any more.
Solid projects know the way how to handle such a request on social media. Bounty hunters always behave inpatient and they usually invest a single penny to development of a project. Admins don't respond because they know the procedure of listing on exchanges, but participants keep asking the same questions over and over.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find out where to sell your coins. on: March 04, 2019, 11:24:55 PM
Hello. Surely many of you suffer from the fact that it is difficult to understand which of your little popular tokens are traded on decentralized exchanges.
However, now there is a convenient way without unnecessary problems.
Enter your wallet number and select the exchanges you are interested in.
The list has: EtherDelta (ForkDelta), IDEX, Token store, Switcheo, Joyso, Enclaves, SingularX, EtherC, Decentrex, DEXY.

Here the link:
https://deltabalances.github.io

This site has a beneficial feature that I can't do the same thing in MEW. Btw they only have one price source for estimating the balance of wallet. "Price estimates come from the ForkDelta & IDEX orderbooks" IMO they need to implement watch address button and feature to the site for tracking incoming&outgoing transactions on a dashboard.

No matter which side these famous guys gonna choose the invention will go further. Elon Musk is one of the biggest supporters on this industry and honestly, I am agreed with his opinions regarding crypto revolution that can be a game-changer for a traditional system.
Warren Buffett is an old investor and nerd trader and he knows timing about when to talk about crypto's advantages. Ben Bernanke's opinion is outdated and i doubt he understands the mechanism of blockchain and bitcoin in his statement.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Terrifies Banks: Hypocritical JP Morgan is Blacklisting Crypto Firms on: March 04, 2019, 11:14:27 PM
Institutional organizations included banks don't want to compete with dominant cryptos. Maybe that's the key reason behind these questions. They are afraid of change and innovation that can be the biggest threat to their old business model. JPM is not an exception here.
37  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2 Reasons Noobs Fail At Trading on: March 04, 2019, 11:10:48 PM
Don't know when to stop, if money can be regulated so as feelings but beginners lack of it. There are many reasons why so many people fails at trading, one of the reasons are the join crowding effect remember yur actions shouldn't be based by the actions of others. It should be based on you since you are the one risking iyour own money. Join crowding seems good but actually it can lead to losses of money. Another thing the people who doesn't know when to stop are the most unluckiest person. In gaining crytpo currencies you should know when to stop alwasy limit your actions because your funds are limited too.
Traders mainly ask the opinion of other traders that have decent experience in this sector. A crowd looks for accumulation points where others put their order. This is called "bandwagon effect" and unsurprisingly it works like a charm. This is the key reason why fake breakouts happen so often and new traders fall to this trap for obvious reasons.  Crypto trading is not different and the same rules are also actual in this market.
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bulls vs bears... what side are you on? on: March 03, 2019, 11:35:17 PM
Investors choose Bear market and then they become Holders.
Holders choose Bull market to sell their assets for profit.
Or in other words: Smart investors buy when others sell and they sell when others buy.
Financial markets are a zero-sum game, one group will be in loss and another group will be on the different side of a trade. Bull traders look for liquidation points where bear hide their stops on sell positions. Before big trends, order stops of bears are filled with newborn buy orders of bulls. The match happens between orders, pressure squeezes opposite side for joining the trend, the train leaves the accumulation point. Just a friendly reminder, moving in the opposite direction is meaningless when a train is moving forward.
39  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is 10% a week posible on: March 03, 2019, 11:21:56 PM
It's a big profit amount but i don't mean this is impossible. but if you want to make such profit, you should not only trade in bitcoin and ethereum. You have to keep track of small coins, and the stock market should be invested in coins that are on a daily basis. Of course, in order to do this you need to constantly and carefully monitor the market. In short, it is not easy to do, if you labour you will be able to succeed.
Big hedge fund traders get special bonuses if they can hit threshold profitability percentage at the end of the financial year. For small investors, investing in coins that have small marketcap and these coins are more profitable than investing in dominant coins. From my experience, risky strategies like OP mentioned usually fail sooner or later and burnt accounts are proof for us.
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the disadvantages of cryptocurrency exchanges? on: March 03, 2019, 11:17:10 PM
Crypto trade has a lot of good things, but there are bad aspects also. As you specified, transaction fees can be really much(saying for some currencies). The price difference between the markets is boring because you need to always observe and buy at the lowest price when buying something.
There are lots of online tools for finding the price difference on various exchanges. If someone doesn't want to pay high fees for trading then testing each exchange one by one for small amounts looks like a feasible solution. Some bots offer the same thing for a small commission in the market. Just my 2 cents.
