well , im not exaclty sure what you're trying to tell us ? " stop buying ico coins " ? and why would you need a second person buying the coins for you , you could just buy the coins yourself. Im pretty sure most people are aware that ico's are scam by now and i do not think its neccesary to make a thread about it.
with the amount of coins still flowing out from brand new users everyday and people still buy the shit on the exchanges, i think it is necessary. i used the dad example to keep it innocent for the minds on this forum. isnt buying your own crowdfund like fraud and shit  |

Ok guys, so here is how this works. - JimBo1 decides after seeing so many brand new alt-coins make so much volume on the hottest exchanges it was the big-leagues. his chance to score!
- icocoin is the coin he will release! innovative!!
- So he asks a couple friends for ideas, maybe some drawings and gets a plan together.
- .. All you need in a nice ico is a name,graphics,protocol-specs,downloads,exchange, optional[website].
- Okay yay, everyone knows about your coin you made a [ANN] and you are holding your CROWDSALE ICO for shares of your big-project.
- You give your dad 20 BTC and ask him to buy your coins in your ico, of course throughout the entire crowdsale randomly.
- so your dad is holding 5,000 icocoin
- you give your dad his 20 BTC back in exchange for the 5,000 icocoin
- other ico funds you sold, nice job lad for your hard work.
- ICO OVER, you now have 5,000 icocoins to sell at whatever price is greater than 0 to keep it profitable, through-out the life of your project of course - be honerable.
- sell sell sell sell, hype hype hype hype, sell sell sell sell

Announcement 2/16/15: New Green Wallet project open sourced! A mobile friendly RPC wallet built with Meteor.js & node-bitcoin!Today I have open sourced a project I have recently started called Green Wallet, this is a mobile friendly RPC wallet built with Meteor/Node.js that can be compiled into a native running iOS and Android app using Cordova/Phonegap. My plans are to eventually provide a hosted option for anyone who doesn't want to compile or build their own wallet however, since this project is open sourced you can easily run and connect to your own node! The simplicity of RPC! I have started the guts of the project and have most of the UI and some basic functionality already in place. My plans are to keep this project simple and to the point while providing all the basic things you would want in a simple friendly mobile wallet 100% under your own control and open source. This is also a great project for anyone who wants to pickup or brush up on some of your Javascript skills or learn a new JS Framework like Meteor.js! I encourage anyone who is tickled by the idea of coding with crypto to join in and see what you can contribute! I have plans of taking these JS projects further by incorporating our Cannacore library (after updating to meet the latest Bitcore release) and other fun and exciting open source ideas. - Configure your coins daemon or QT with the proper RPC User/Password settings.
- Edit the settings.json file in the project root to match your wallet RPC user/pass/port etc
- From the command line run the follow: meteor --settings="settings.json"
- Open your browser to http://localhost:3000 and start coding! The Meteor.com docs will break down the iOS/Android build process which to be honest, is very simple!

Insert new mongo document for each generated address (currently pulling from daemon directly).
- Configure coin daemon walletnotify feature to insert incoming tx's into our database.
Insert new mongo document for sent transactions.- Add transaction pagination
- Make the settings actually work... (form is already in place, just need to pull from DB).
- Add basic unit testing using Mochajs/Chai.
- Add basic integration testing using Mochajs/Phantomjs & Casperjs.
- Setup shippable.com continuous integration file & bash script (SubCreative will do this).

On that note what is the current progress/state of Cannapay besides being in beta?
At least Cannapay is a somewhat functional service right now. MJpay is just an image and coming soon site so far, still though I'm curious about it too.
Cannapay is still in a closed beta state and operational as both a wallet and trade service. We have been running as a closed beta for roughly 6 months and have yet to report and issues with the security or true bugs with the system. The only thing we've had feedback on is some slight performance issues and UI/UX design changes which will be coming in the near future. Since the beta has gone so well I am considering a release of the project as an open source repository for those who are interested in building out the platform further, if you are a javascript developer interested in joining as a contributed please contact me directly. As of today I have added Fobfuscate for those who wish to use physical 2 factor authentication for login. Posting this here since CANN felt the need to delete this post and lock down the thread in response to it:
Help me understand something...
Rather than answer the questions about a grow, a grow which is paramount to this entire idea of CANN=1 gram.. Rather than answer that question, you joyfully spend time attacking the person asking it. This is especially shady considering the Paycoin pegging scandal and all of the mistrust in the altcoin community right now.
Consider this: Since October 2014 CannabisCoins have depreciated in value -2300%, yes they have lost 23x their value since that photo-op event and promotion campaign.
Many people have been burned financially or lost their fortunes, and yet the dev team can't share even basic details about the status of the next CANNdy harvest? All we get is nondescript statements about trichomes and sativa strains in Panama which frankly sound like they are coming from people who are pretending to have knowledge of cannabis horticulture.
I don't see how Hum-Vee's are relevant and bragging about other businesses when your job is to provide enough cannabis to supply 1 gram per coin. How are you planning on providing supply the millions of cannabiscoins out there with an LED grow? LED's are not considered in the industry to be nearly comparable to HPS/MH in terms of commercial yields. Furthermore I would like to know details about what type medium and/or nutrient ratios you are using that ensures the quality of your "CANNdy" as you call it (which is a terrible name for a medicinal strain, but that's neither here nor there).
All of these ad hominem attacks and banning/deleting posts make it increasingly seem like you are engaging in some sleight of hand here.
